TIME COACH OF THE YEAR, BRUCE ARIANS. GIANTS WON THE TOSS. ELECTED TO DEFER. T.J. LOGAN IS BACK DEEP FOR THE BUCKS. ALDRICH ROSAS WELL GET THINGS STARTED. GIANTS AND BUCCANEERS UNDER WAY IN TAMPA. BUCKS WILL START FROM THEIR 25 YARD LINE AS JAMEIS WINSTON LEADS THE TAMPA BAY OFFENSE ONTO THE FIELD. >> KENNY, I THINK IT'S SAFE TO SAY JAMEIS WINSTON HAS HAD A LITTLE BIT OF UP AND DOWN START TO THE SEASON. LAST WEEK IN CAROLINA, ON THAT SHORT WEEK, ON THURSDAY, HE WAS HELPED TREMENDOUSLY BY A COMMITMENT TO THE RUNNING GAME. I HAVE TO EXPECT EITHER PEYTON BARBER OR RONALD JONES WILL BE A BIG PART OF TODAY'S GAME PLAN AS WELL. >> Ken: BUCCANEERS LOST HERE AND A BIG WIN THURSDAY NIGHT OVER PANTHERS IN CHARLOTTE. PEYTON BARBER IN THE BACKFIELD. TWO BARBERS UP IN THE BOOTH. FINALLY BROUGHT DOWN BY THE ROOKIE OUT OF WISCONSIN, RYAN CONNELLY AFTER A GAIN OF 7. >> IT WOULD BE REMISS NOT TO MENTION THE OFFENSE, SAQUON BARKLEY. I IMAGINE HE WOULD BE PART OF THIS GAME PLAN. DO NOT BE SHOCKED IF TAMPA BAY TRIES TO TAKE A SHOT AT HIM EARLY. >> Ken: ONLY SIX RECEPTIONS FOR EVANS. BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN. OFF THE FAKE TO BARBER, WINSTON. HUGH EVERTS, A PENALTY MARKER. VINOVICH THE REFEREE TODAY. >> I ASKED IF HE WAS FRUSTRATED BY THE EXPANSION AND HE SAID NO. >> Ronde: HERE'S THE PENALTY FIRST, TIK. IN MY PLAYING DAYS, THEY WOULDN'T BOTHER WITH THE FLAG. TO YOUR POINT ABOUT MIKE EVANS, HE IS THE ULTIMATE TEAM PLAYER. I REMEMBER IN PRESEASON TALKING ABOUT POTENTIAL EMERGENCE OF CHRIS. THEY'RE BOTH VERY DANGEROUS TOGETHER. >> Ken: WINSTON WRAPPED UP, DOWN HE GOES. AT THE 44 YARD LINE, MARKUS GOLDEN ALONG WITH ALEC OGLETREE. >> ONE OF THE THINGS THEY WANTED TO DO, GET THESE GUYS OFF SCHEDULE AND CHANGE THE MAP. SEE THE RIGHT TACKLE LOOK INSIDE AND STUN OFF THE EDGE. EASY SACK FOR GOLDEN AND ALEC OGLETREE TO GET JAMEIS WINSTON ON THE GROUND. >> Ken: GOLDEN PLAYED FOR ARIZONA. 2 1/2 SACKS FOR THE CARDS. >> HE'S REALLY TALENTED AND HAD A KNEE JERRY AND HASN'T GOTTEN FULLY RECOVERED YET. >> Ken: IT'S EVANS WHO MAKES THE CATCH. FOUR AND TWO COMING UP. >> Ronde: YOU KNOW, TIKI, THE CONVERSATION ON THE BACK, THEY'RE YOUNG. THEY WILL NEED ALEC OGLETREE TO STEP UP AND BE A LEADER. HE MAKES A LOT OF TACKLED BUT WILL BE INVOLVED IN THIS. BUCS WILL USE A LOT OF PLAY ACTION BECAUSE THEY'RE ALREADY SETTING UP THE RUN GAME. >> Ken: THIRD DOWN AND TWO FROM THE 42 YARD LINE, AS BUCS EMPTY THE BACKFIELD. WINSTON ON THIRD DOWN, LOOKS TO TAKE OFF, AND HE IS STOPPED SHORT. LORENZO CARTER AND HELP FROM OGLETREE. >> THERE IS NOWHERE TO GO. THEY GIVE THE IMPRESSION WITH FIVE GUYS AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. NOWHERE FOR JAMEIS WINSTON TO GO WITH THE BALL. THEY DIDN'T TRY TO FORCE IT. IT LOOKS TO ME, KENNY, BRUCE ARIANS WILL TAKE A SHOT HERE. IF YOU'RE THE GIANTS DEFENSE, HARD-COUNT. >> Kenny: FOURTH AND SHORT. WINSTON HAS IT OFF TO PALMER. HE PICKS OFF A FIRST DOWN. PEYTON, 37 YARD LINE. >> THEY HAD SUCCESS OF LATE, ALI MARPET, LASSE JENSEN AND THE GUYS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE OFFENSIVE LINE HAVE BEEN POSITIVE ON THE RUN GAME AND I THINK THAT GIVES COORDINATOR BYRON LEFTWICH CONFIDENCE TO GO WITH SHORT YARDAGE PLAYS AND I THINK WE WILL SEE MORE AND MORE OF THAT AS THIS GAME GOES ON. >> Kenny: SMITH AND MARPET NATIVES. PERRIMAN WILL PICK UP A FIRST DOWN! THE VETERAN WIDEOUT TAKES IT INSIDE THE 25 YARD LINE FOR A GAIN OF 13. >> YEAH. THE THING YOU SEE HERE IS CREATIVITY BY BYRON LEFTWICH HERE. SEE, THE TOSS COMES BACK AROUND. FAKE IT OUT TO BARBER ON THE RIGHT SIDE. PERRIMAN IS THE ONE THING HE DID WAS ACCELERATE. THE ONE THING YOU DO TO MAKE BIG PLAYS, ACCELERATE THROUGH CONTACT. >> Kenny: GIANTS 25 YARD LINE, NEW SET OF DOWNS. UP THE MIDDLE, BARBER FOUND A HOLE DOWN TO THE 21 YARD LINE FOR A GAIN OF FOUR. >> ONE THING WHEN WE TALKED TO THE DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR, BETTCHER, RONDE, WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO BRING THE FIFTH PLAYER FROM. YOU'VE SEEN THEM MIX IT UP A LITTLE BIT. >> Tiki: I THINK YOU DO THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE TRYING TO BRING THEM OFF BALANCE. THEY DO NOT CREATE A LOT OF PRESSURE INSIDE WITH TOMLINSON AND HILL AND LAWRENCE. THEY'RE NOT PASS RUSHERS, MORE RUN STOPPERS. YOU HAVE TO VARY THE GUYS ON THE EDGE, 54 AND THE LINEBACKERS. >> Kenny: WINSTON ON SECOND AND SIX. HE THROWS TO THE END ZONE AND OFF THE HANDS OF O.J. HOWARD. >> THIS IS ANOTHER GUY WHO HAS GOTTEN OFF TO A VERY SLOW START. YOU HAVE HIM IN FANTASY WONDERING WHEN WILL HE GET THE MOST PRODUCTIVE DAYS. TO ME, HE'S ONE OF THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE TIGHT ENDS BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE. HE HASN'T FOUND HIS RHYTHM YET. THEY MENTIONED IT TO US AND GIANTS MENTIONED IT. >> IF YOU'RE GOING TO PUT JABRILL PEPPERS, YOU HAVE TO GO TO HIM. >> Kenny: LEFTWICH, THE LONG TIME PLAYER CALLING PLAYS. AND TOUCHDOWN! >> WHAT A THROW. AND WHAT A TERRIFIC ADJUSTMENT BY MIKE EVANS TO GET THIS BALL. IF YOU'RE GOING TO LIVE BY THE GUN, YOU WILL DIE BY THE GUN IN THE NFL. YOU WILL BRING ALL PRESSURE. THAT LEAVES MIKE EVANS ONE-ON-ONE. HE LEFT MIKE EVANS TIME TO RUN UNDERNEATH IT. JAMEIS WILL TAKE A SHOT HERE. SEE HOW CONFIDENT AND POISED HE WAS IN THE POCKET THAT HIS MATCHUP WAS BETTER THAN THEIR MATCHUP? NICE DOWN FOR TAMPA BAY. >> Tiki: RONDE, YOU KNOW THIS. THE JACK RACKET WAS IN NO MAN'S LAND BACK THERE. WHEN YOU'RE OFF THE BALL, HAVE A RECEIVER SCREAMING DOWN YOUR THROAT, PRESSURE AT YOU, YOU HAVE NO CHANCE. HE COULD HAVE EASILY WENT TO THE POST AND HAD THE SAME THROW. >> Kenny: THE ROOKIE OUT OF >>> 10 PLAYS, 75 YARDS AND 24th TOUCHDOWN CONNECTION FROM WINSTON TO EVANS, MATCHES A RECORD. BALLENTINE IS BACK DEEP FOR THE GIANTS. GIANTS WILL START AT THE 25 AS THE ROOKIE OUT OF DUKE FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK, DANIEL JONES, LEADS THE NEW YORK OFFENSE ONTO THE FIELD, HIS FIRST START IN THE NFL. >> Ronde: THE NARRATIVE AROUND DANIEL JONES IS HE IS A MUCH MORE MOBILE QUARTERBACK THAN ELI MANNING. MANNING WASN'T PLAYING BAD, YOU INSERT AN EXTREMELY TALENTED TAILBACK, IT SHOULD GALVANIZE THIS UNIT AND SEE IF THEY CAN MAKE HEY AND TAKE OFF PRESSURE WITH THIS YOUNG QUARTERBACK. >> Kenny: ELI STARTED 232 OUT OF 234 GAMES FOR GIANTS. FIRST AND 10. 25 YARD LINE. JONES THROWS, IT'S COMPLETE. A FIRST DOWN AND MORE. CAME INTO THIS GAME AS THE FOURTH LEADING RECEIVER FROM THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE OVER THE FIRST TWO WEEKS AND ENGRAM PICKS UP 15. >> Ronde: HE NEEDS THROWS EARLY AND BY NECESSITY, THIS ACTION HAPPENING AND ENGRAM IS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL GAME, ESSENTIALLY, RONDE, WIDE RECEIVER. PLAYS LIKE ONE, FOR ONE OF HIS BEST COMPLETIONS OF HIS CAREER. >> Kenny: A STARTER TWO WEEKS AGO IN RELIEF. BARKLEY GETS FIRED UP. >> YOU LOOK AT THIS GIANTS OFFENSE NO COINCIDENCE WE WERE GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT ENGRAM. THE BUCS HAVE STRUGGLED AGAINST CAROLINA AND WINSTON WENT TO TOWN ON THEM. A LITTLE BIT OF COVERAGE OF WHITEHEAD. BUT LEVONTE DAVID AND KEVIN MINTER, THAT TIGHT END. >> Kenny: STERLING SHEPARD MISSED LAST WEEK'S GAME AGAINST BUFFALO DUE TO A CONCUSSION. HE RETURNS THIS AFTERNOON AS JONES SWINGS IT OUT TO BARKLEY AND SAQUON BARKLEY GAINS A COUPLE OUT OF BOUNDS AT THE 44 YARD LINE. THIRD DOWN AND LONG COMING UP FOR GIANTS. >> WE MUST TALK ABOUT BARRETT, BECAUSE OF THE ENERGY HE HAS. J.P. STILL ON THE UNABLE TO PERFORM LIST AND LOOKING FOR A GUY ALL SUMMER FOR A GUY ABLE TO RUSH THE EDGE. THIS MATCHUP FOR HIM TODAY AGAINST NATE SOLDER, THE PREMIUM ONE FOR BUCS DEFENSE AND GIANTS OFFENSE. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND NINE, GIANTS MUST GET TO TAMPA BAY TO THE 37 FOR A FIRST DOWN. JONES LOOKING TO THROW AND COMPLETE FOR A FIRST DOWN! STERLING SHEPARD, KNOCKED OUT-OF-BOUNDS AT THE BUCCANEERS' 30 YARD LINE, 21 YARDS FROM JONES TO SHEPHARD. >> IN BACK-TO-BACK PLAYS, YOU WILL SEE THEM GET DOUBLE-TEAM AND TWO GO TO SAQUON AND GIVE A LITTLE CHIP. THE ACTION IS INSIDE. STERLING SHEPARD IS ONE OF THE PREMIERE PLAYERS IN THE NFL. HE CAN PLAY OUTSIDE, YES, BUT DOES HIS MOST DAMAGE INSIDE. >> Kenny: THREE WIDE RECEIVERS SET FROM THE BUCCANEERS' 30. BARKLEY FLIPS IT BACK. NOT MUCH, OUT-OF-BOUNDS AT THE 28, PICKS UP JUST TWO. >> PAT ZIMMER SAW THE BUCS RUN A LITTLE REVERSE. WE CAN HAVE THAT. LESS PROMISING RESULTS. THIS OFFENSE, WE TALKED ABOUT IT BEING MORE VARIABLE WITH DAN JONES AT QUARTERBACK. I THINK THERE IS A SENSE THEY WILL SEE IT DIFFERENTLY, ELI AND DANIEL JONES TODAY. >> I HAVE TO TELL YOU, IF YOU'RE GOING TO RUN THE BALL, PUT IT IN 26'S HANDS. >> Kenny: BUCS FORMATION TO THE RIGHT, 26 LINED UP TO THE LEFT OF JONES. HE DOES PUT IT IN HIS HANDS ON SECOND DOWN. GAIN OF TWO. TAMPA BAY 26. >> BY THE WAY, I DON'T DISAGREE WITH YOU, TIKI. BUT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE INTERIOR OF THIS BUCKS' DEFENSE LINE AND NDAMUKONG COMES INSTEAD, THE UNHERALDED ONE FORMED WITHOUT A DOUBT. IT'S HARD TO RUN THAT INSIDE ZONE NEW YORK LIKES TO RUN SO YOU WILL SEE CREATIVITY IN THIS OFFENSE TODAY. >> Kenny: GIANTS NOW FACING A THIRD DOWN AND SIX. PLAY CLOCK WINDING DOWN. JONES SETS ON THIRD DOWN! WHAT A CATCH! EVAN ENGRAM MAKES THE CATCH AND HE IS CLOSE TO A GIANTS FIRST DOWN. >> THEY'VE GIVEN SO MUCH RESPECT TO EVAN ENGRAM AS A TIGHT END THEY'RE PUTTING THEIR NICKEL BACK, NUMBER 36 ON THEM IN COVERAGE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO DEFEND THAT. WHO NEEDS ODELL BECKHAM JUNIOR? >> LEARNED LESSONS FROM OBJ. >> IT IS. >> Kenny: THAT WAS FANTASTIC. >> GOING BACK TO SAQUON, THE TOP OF THE BROADCAST, IT IS HARD BECAUSE OF THE TAMPA BAY FRONT SEVEN. IF YOU'RE THE GIANTS, YOU WANT TO RUN TO THE EDGES WITH SAQUON. >> GIANTS GET THE SNAP AWAY. LOOKING TO GO UP THE MIDDLE AND WRAPPED UP WITH VITA VAYIA IN THE ROOM. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW LARGE HE IS. ONE THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT VITA, HE NEVER FINISHES A PLAY ON HIM. >> Kenny: JONES THROWS NEARSIGHT COMPLETE AT THE -- NEAR SIDE COMPLETE FOR THE GIANTS. >> ONE THING WE'RE NOTICING FROM THE GIANTS' OFFENSE, IT FEELS DIFFERENT. MUCH MORE ON PACE. EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE NOT GETTING A LOT OF POSITIVE PLAYS IN THE RUN, THEY'RE STICKING TO IT TO KEEP HIM HONEST AND KEEPING THEM IN THE POCKET. THE O-LINE DOESN'T PROTECT THE QUARTERBACK. LOOKS MORE IMPROVED THERE. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND EIGHT. GIANTS MUST GET TO THE 10 FOR A FIRST DOWN. THAT'S THE FIRST INCOMPLETION. KEVIN MINTER LAID THE HIT. >> THERE HASN'T BEEN A MUCH BETTER RED ZONE DEFENSE TO START THIS SEASON THAN TAMPA BAY. THEY WILL EITHER BRING PRESSURE OR GIVE YOU THE ILLUSION OF PRESSURE AND DROP DOWN. DANIEL JONES THOUGHT IT WAS MAN-TO-MAN FOR SOME REASON BECAUSE SHEPHARD IS STILL RUNNING AND KEVIN MINTER CAUSES INCOMPLETION IN THE FIELD GOAL ATTEMPT BY NEW YORK. >> Kenny: RONDE MENTIONED THE RED ZONE DEFENSE. SEVEN POSSESSIONS FOR THEIR OPPONENTS. THE KICK IS GOOD, SO THE GIANTS SCORE ON THEIR OPENING POSSESSION FIRST THREE WEEKS OF THE SEASON. >>> WELCOME BACK, GUYS, YOU CAN'T SPELL DANIEL WITHOUT ELI. >> I LIKE THAT. >> Kenny: THE SIMILARITY OF THE TWO QUARTERBACKS IS SIMILAR. MANNERISM AND VOICES. >> I'M SITTING IN THAT PRODUCTION MEETING, THIS IS ELI 15 YEARS AGO. IT'S AMAZING HOW SIMILAR THEY ARE. >> Kenny: YOU WERE THERE, TIKI. REMEMBER THAT GIANTS' SQUAD, WHEN MANNING MADE HIS FIRST START BACK IN NOVEMBER OF 2004? DANIEL JONES RAN AN 11-PLAY FIELD GOAL DRIVE AND IT WAS MIKE EVANS KEY FOR THE BUCS ON THEIR FIRST POSSESSION. >> Tiki: WE HAD A FEELING MIKE EVANS WOULD BE INVOLVED. I THINK MIKE EVANS IS THE KIND OF RECEIVER THAT NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED EARLY. WEEK ONE WITH SAN FRANCISCO HE WAS SICK AND OUT AFTER TWO PLAYS AND WASN'T HIMSELF. SAW THE EMERGENCE OF CHRIS GODWIN. WHAT THAT DOES IS PUTS THE EMPHASIS AWAY FROM MIKE EVANS, TO ME, ONE OF THE MOST DOMINANT RECEIVERS IN THE NFL. >> Kenny: EVANS IN THE BACKFIELD. FIRST AND 10, FIRST CARRY FOR JONES TODAY. HE GOES NOWHERE AS WE HEAD TO LOS ANGELES FOR A GAME BREAK AND CHECK IN WITH CHARISSA THOMPSON. CHARISSA. >> Charissa: THANK YOU SO MUCH, KENNY. OPENING DRIVE, CARDINALS CONNECT WITH LARRY FITZGERALD AND UP 7-0. KENNY. >> Kenny: THANKS, CHARISSA. PANTHERS COMING OFF THE LOSS TO THE BUCS TWO THURSDAYS AGO. WINSTON ON SECOND AND 10, SETS UP THE SCREEN. IT'S JONES AND HE WILL PICK UP A FIRST DOWN AND MUCH MORE! INSIDE THE GIANTS' 40, AND FINALLY BROUGHT DOWN AT THE 35 YARD LINE, A 40 YARD PICKUP BY JONES. >> THE BUCS FROM A YEAR AGO OR TWO YEARS AGO WERE ONE OF THE WORST SCREEN TEAMS IN FOOTBALL. THEY'VE GOTTEN SO MUCH BETTER AT IT AND DOWN TO THE PATIENCE OF THE OPERATION. JAMEIS WINSTON HAD TO LET THAT PRESSURE COME AND WAIT FOR THESE BIG BOYS GET OUT FRONT. RONALD JONES HAS SHOWN THIS YEAR ACCELERATION AND EXPLOSION AND ABILITY TO RUN THROUGH FIRST TACKLES. A HUGE PLAY THE START OF THIS DRIVE. >> Kenny: HANDS IT O TO JONES, TAKE IT INSIDE THE 30. SECOND YEAR BACK OUT OF USC, TIKI. >> Tiki: HE HAS A JUMP CUT ABILITY AND THE WAY THEY DEPLOY THIS GUY IS INTERESTING. GAME ONE, ALL JONES AND GAME TWO, ALL PEYTON BARBER. WHEN YOU HAVE TWO GUYS WHO CAN BE BASICALLY INTERCHANGEABLE GIVES YOU SO MUCH FLEXIBILITY AS A PLAY CALLER I'M SURE BYRON LEFTWICH IS APPRECIATING. >> Ronde: LAST WEEK IS THE FIRST TIME I CAN REMEMBER THEY HAD MORE RUNS THAN PASSES IN THE ENTIRETY OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM. >> Kenny: WIN STORE THROWS OUT-OF-BOUNDS. AWAY FROM EVANS. THIRD AND FIVE UPCOMING FOR JAMEIS WINSTON AND THE BUCS. >> PART OF THE FIELD HERE WHERE BYRON LEFTWICH CAN DO ANYTHING INSIDE, THIS IS WHERE CHRIS GODWIN HAS TO COME TO LIFE. IF YOU'RE THE GIANTS DEFENSE, PUT A LOT OF PRESSURE ON THAT SLOT CORNER, NUMBER 34, GRANT HALEY. YOU GO INTO A GAME AND YOU'RE LOOKING AT THIRD DOWN CUTOFF, ABOUT 60% OF PASSES IS NUMBER 12, WHERE YOUR EMPHASIS SHOULD BE. >> Kenny: BUCS MUTT GET TO A 34 YARD LINE. ON FIRST DOWN, ON THE SLANT, CATCH IS MADE BY PERRIMAN, FIRST DOWN, FOR TAMPA BAY. >> A QUICK LITTLE SLANT. SEE CHRIS GODWIN INSIDE IS GETTING ATTENTION. THIS IS A FANTASTIC CATCH. OUTSIDE THE FRAME OF THE BODY, THOSE ARE SO DIFFICULT. BRESHAD PERRIMAN WAS BROUGHT IN HERE TO BRING A SPEED ELEMENT TO THIS GAME. HE HELD ONTO THAT ONE. >> Kenny: THE FORMER RAVEN AND BROWN TARGETED FOUR TIMES IN THE BUCS' LAST GAME AND OFF TO A START HERE TODAY. >> I TELL YOU, WHEN YOU GET A BALL BAD LIKE THAT. NOT REALLY A BAD BALL BECAUSE IT WAS A GOOD BALL. BAD ANTICIPATION OF THAT BALL. GOOD ANTICIPATION. >> IS THERE SUCH A THING AS A BAD RECEPTION? >> NOT AT ALL. >> Kenny: SAYS THE GIANT SECOND ON THE LIST BEHIND TOOMER. THERE'S JONES, 21, AND ALEC OGLETREE ON THE TACKLE. >> Ronde: THIS ONE OF THE FEW WHERE GIANTS HAVE HAD TO BRING PRESSURE. THIS IS WHERE I THINK, COACH BETTCHER IS GETTING IN TROUBLE TO BOTH STOP THE RUN AND BRING HEAT TO JAMEIS WINSTON, LEAVES THEM VULNERABLE. WE SAW IT A FEW PLAYS AGO AND ON THE FIRST TOUCHDOWN PASS ON THEIR FIRST DRIVE. >> Kenny: RECEIVERS SET UP TO THE LEFT SIDE. SECOND DOWN AND EIGHT. WINSTON OVER THE MIDDLE, CAUGHT, TAKEN DOWN TO THE 3 YARD LINE OF THE GIANTS BY O.J. HOWARD. >> Ronde: WHEN YOU PUT THOSE THREE RECEIVERS ON THE LEFT SIDE, LIKE TIKI MENTIONED EARLIER, YOU MENTION JABRILL, HE IS NO MATCH FOR O.J. HOWARD. THE CATCH RADIUS TO BLOCK OUT DEFENDERS IS AWESOME. >> Kenny: FIRST AND GOAL FOR THE 3, WINSTON FROM THE END ZONE LOOKING FOR EVANS. >> I THINK THAT WAS JUST A THROW AWAY. THE PASS WAS QUICK TO GO TO RONALD JONES. GOOD PRESSURE BUT WINSTON JAMEIS HAD TO REDIRECT AND THE SMART THING WAS PUT IT OUT OF THE END ZONE WHERE NOBODY COULD GET THIS. JAMEIS, OVER THE YEARS, HAS HAD A PROPENSITY TO MAKE BAD DECISIONS DOWN HERE AND ULTIMATELY TAKE POINTS OFF THE BOARD. >> THE WANTS TO BE A HERO. >> ABSOLUTELY HE DOES. WHEN YOU'RE IN SCORING POSITION, YOU KNOW THIS BETTER THAN ANYBODY, POINTS ALL THAT MATTERS, YOU HAVE TO BE SMART WITH THE FOOTBALL. >> Kenny: WINSTON, QUICK RELEASE, TAKING IT IN FOR HIS SECOND TOUCHDOWN IN THIS CORNER IS MIKE EVANS. >> THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS. THIS PLAY IS A TENET OF A BRUCE ARIANS OFFENSE. THEY JUST WENT TWO GUYS IN A STACK AND KNOW THESE GUYS CAN'T COVER THEM MAN-TO-MAN. PICK UP AND THROW IT EASY. STEALING AIN'T THE WORD. THAT'S A GIFT, LIKE SEVEN ON SEVEN. >> Tiki: I HAVE TO SAY, RONDE, IT'S SIMILAR TO HIS FIRST TOUCHDOWN. YOU HAVE A QUARTERBACK THAT HAS TO PLAY OFF BECAUSE OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE DEFENSIVE SCHEME, MIKE EVANS' FREE RIDE. >> Kenny: THIS ONE GETS BLOCKED! 0 FOR 2. MIKE EVANS, TWO TOUCHDOWNS IN THE FIRST QUARTER BUT TWO >>> TWO TOUCHDOWNS FOR THE BUCS, BOTH FROM WINSTON TO MIKE EVANS. >> HE'S BEEN THE DIFFERENCE TODAY. THERE'S BUCCANEERS OFFENSE TODAY. YOU ARE FEELING YOUR NUMBER ONE RECEIVER. HE FEELS CONFIDENT AND HEALTHY AND THE QUARTERBACK HAS FOUND HIS MAIN MAN TODAY. >> MISSED THE EXTRA POINT SO IT'S A 12-3 GAME. GIANTS WILL START AT THE 25. SECOND SERIES FOR DANIEL JONES AND THE NEW YORK OFFENSE. 4 FOR 5. 53 YARDS ON THEIR FIRST POSSESSION WHICH COME NATED WITH A 36-YARD FIELD GOAL. >> HE MOVED THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD VERY EFFECTIVELY AND THE TYPES OF DIFFERENT PLAY CALLS BENEFITTED HIM. WE'RE SEEING NOW WHY THIS GIANTS' OFFENSE GOT STUCK SO MUCH IN THESE FIRST COUPLE OF GAMES. THEIR DEFENSE CAN'T GET OFF THE FIELD, PUTS TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON THE OFFENSE REGARDLESS WHO THE QUARTERBACK IS. >> Kenny: TWO 75-YARD DRIVES BY THE BUCS IN THIS FIRST QUARTER. OFF THE PLAY FAKE TO BARKLEY, JONES HITS BARKLEY, UNABLE TO SPIN AWAY AS MIKE EDWARDS MAKES THE TACKLE. BARKLEY LOSES A YARD, AS TIME WINDS DOWN IN THIS FIRST QUARTER IN TAMPA, FLORIDA. DANIEL JONES FIRST NFL START AS GIANTS TRAIL THE TAMPA BAY BUCS >>> ON THE RIGHT, DAVID CUTCLIFFE, HEAD COACH AT DUKE DURING THE DANIEL JONES ERA, AND THE HEAD COACH AT OLE MISS WHEN ELI MANNING -- >> DON'T FORGET HES WITH ALSO THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE WHEN PEYTON WAS THERE. >> Kenny: PEYTON'S QUARTERBACK COACH. >> HE KNOWS HOW TO ORDER PAYCHECKS, GET GREAT QUARTERBACKS. >> PRETTY EASY TO EARN A PAYCHECK WITH THOSE THREE. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND 11 AS WE BEGIN THE SECOND QUARTER. . JONES OVER THE MIDDLE. COMPLETE. TO THE 30 YARD LINE, ENGRAM, HIS THIRD CATCH TODAY. >> YOU'RE SEEING WHY JONES HAS SUCH A HIGH COMPLETION PERCENTAGE. HE TAKES THE EASY THROWS WHEN THEY'RE THERE. THE COACH SAID YOU CAN BE RIGHT GETTING COMPLETIONS BUT SOMETIMES YOU CAN BE MORE RIGHT. >> THAT'S A VERY INTERESTING TAKE. WE'LL BUILD ON THAT IN A LITTLE BIT WHY THEY MADE THIS DECISION, THIRD DOWN AND FIVE, IF YOU'RE TODD BOWLES, HERE COMES THE PRESSURE. >> Kenny: GUYS MUST GET TO THE 35 FIRST DOWN. HE WILL TAKE OFF. HE HAS A FIRST DOWN! OUT ACROSS THE 40 YARD LINE IS DANIEL JONES, PICKS UP 10 AND MOVES THE CHAIN. >> EXACTLY WHAT DANIEL JONES BRINGS TO THE TABLE. KEVIN MINTER AND VERY WELL PICKED UP WITH SAQUON BARKLEY. IF YOU DON'T PROTECT THE EDGES WITH A GUY THAT CAN RUN. HE'S NOT A RUNNER BUT HE IS A RUNNER. THIS IS SOMETHING THIS OFFENSE HASN'T SEEN EVER. >> THIS IS NOT YOUR ELI MANNING OFFENSE. NO SHOT AT LIE, DANIEL JONES IS A SUPERIOR ATHLETE. >> Kenny: FROM THE 41 YARD LINE, HAND OFF TO BARKLEY UP THE MIDDLE. HE TOOK HARD HIT. SARA. >> Sara: AS JUST MENTIONED IT'S 15 YEARS SINCE HE COACHED ELI AND THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTREMELY EMOTIONAL WEEK FOR HIM. HE SAYS HE KNOWS THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR DANIEL BUT HE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ELI AND ARCHIE MANNING AND SAYS HE HOPES IF THIS IS THE END ELI FOCUSES ON THIS GREAT BODY OF WORK AND WORK HE PUT IN AND DOESN'T HAVE A NEGATIVE FEELING, GUYS. >> Kenny: WE SAW BARKLEY HEAD TO THE SIDELINES AFTER TAKING THAT HIT. JONES COMPLETE OUT ACROSS MIDFIELD. ENGRAM, ONCE AGAIN HIS PREVIOUS RECEPTION. >> THAT PREVIOUS PLAY, TAKE A LOOK. JORDAN WHITEHEAD COMES FLYING IN AND HIS MO. JUST THE HIT TO THE HEAD AND NECK, NOT SURE A SHOULDER. HE WENT OFF, WHAT LOOKED TO ME LIKE A LITTLE BIT OF DISTRESS. >> Tiki: RONDE, IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE HE'S NOT CONTROLLING HIS BODY GOING TO THE GROUND. >> Ronde: THERE HE GOES INTO THE TENT. I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT, TIK. >> Kenny: GODWIN REMAINS ON THE FIELD. SHIFTS TO THE LEFT SIDE. PLAY CLOCK WOUND ALL THE WAY DOWN. >> SAQUON BARKLEY GOING TO THE TENT, HE WAS TELLING US YESTERDAY, I HAVE TO TAKE ON A BIGGER ROLE BECAUSE ELI MANNING USED TO DO ALL THE CHECKS AND HANDLE THOSE SITUATIONS. IT'S JUST EXPERIENCE. WITHOUT SAQUON AND YOU HAVE GOLDWYN IN THERE, IT IS A DIFFERENT DYNAMIC AND SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THIS PLAYS OUT IF HE IS NOT ABLE TO COME BACK IN THIS FOOTBALL GAME. >> Kenny: FIRST OF 13. JONES THROWS TO THE MIDDLE, TAKING IT TO THE 41 YARD LINE. CHARISSA. >> Charissa: KYLE ALLEN RULES THE RIGHT AND FINDS CURTIS SAMUELS FOR THIS SCORE, ALL TIED UP AT 7. KENNY, TIKI, RONDE AND SARA. >> Kenny: ALL RIGHT, CHARISSA. BUCCANEERS FANS KEEPING AN EYE ON THAT GAME. THEY STARTED THE SEASON, 0-2. BUCS WITH A 12-3 LEAD TODAY. BARKLEY REMAINS ON THE SIDELINES. SECOND DOWN AND THREE. JONES ON THE SLANT. THAT PASS BOUNCES AWAY FROM THE ROOKIE OUT OF AUBURN, DARIUS SLATON WITH HARGREAVES DEFENDING. >> HARGREAVES UP TOP, HE GAVE UP A LOT OF COMPLETIONS LAST WEEK. HE HAD A LOT OF TACKLES BUT A LOT OF THOSE WERE BECAUSE OF COMPLETIONS IN FRONT OF HIM. WATCH THIS. KENNY MENTIONED SEVEN YEARS IN THE LEAGUE. THAT'S PRETTY GOOD, MAN. LANDS ON HIS FEET. GOOD JOB BY JONES GETTING THAT BALL OUT. >> THAT'S THE ONE YOU HAVE TO CATCH. >> Kenny: REPLACING THE INJURED DEVIN WHITE, LINEBACKER FOR THE BUCS. THIRD DOWN AND THREE. JONES THROWS, NEARSIGHT. THERE IS A FLAG. HE WAS LOOKING FOR SHEPHARD. CARLTON DAVIS DEFENDING. >> PRETTY SURE THIS IS A HOLD. THE FLAG CAME OUT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. LET'S SEE IF HE FALLS ON HIS OWN HERE. CARLTON DAVIS GOOD AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE, LITTLE GRAB AT THE JERSEY. NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO AFFECT THE ROUTE. IT IS WHAT IT IS. THE OFFICIALS HAVE EYES, TOO, AND HAVE TO MAKE JUDGMENT DECISIONS IN REAL-TIME. >> Kenny: LOOK AT BARKLEY FROM THE SIDELINE. THIRD AND 10 FROM THE BUCS 32 YARD LINE. JONES LOOKING FOR SLAYTON. OUT-OF-BOUNDS PERSUASIVE. >> DARIUS SLAYTON. THIS IS A WELL PLACED THROW. I LOOKED AT JONES, MOST COMPLETIONS DOWN THE SIDELINE, AND IT IS A GIFT. TOUGH CATCH ON THE OUTSIDE SHOULDER. >> Kenny: SAQUON BARKLEY BACK ON THE FIELD. >> THAT'S NOT GOOD NEWS, THAT'S GREAT NEWS FOR GIANTS. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND 10. HERE'S BARKLEY UP THE MIDDLE. BARKLEY TO THE 26 YARD LINE OF THE BUCS. >> Ronde: I THINK THOSE LAST FOUR PLAYS WERE ALL PRESSURES BY TODD BOWLES' DEFENSE. IT IS THREE-FOUR BUT HE HAS FIVE GUYS ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE, OUTSIDE LINEBACKERS. THEY'RE NOT NECESSARILY DROPPERS. IF YOU'RE COUNTY PRESSURE AT FIVE GUYS AT 30, THEY DO IT EVERY SINGLE PLAY. YOU GET IN THESE SITUATIONS THIRD AND SHORT I EXPECT GIANTS TO GET RUB ROUTE, FREE UP SHEPARD WORKING IN THE SLOT AGAINST STEWART. >> Kenny: THE COACH OF THE NEW YORK JETS THE LAST FOUR YEARS. PRESSURE ON JONES. HE ESCAPES, MOVING TO HIS LEFT. NOW, HE THROWS. THERE IS A FLAG. BARKLEY TAKES IT DOWN TO THE BUCS' 7. ZERO PANIC. >> Tiki: FOR A ROOKIE TO GET INTO INCREDIBLE. TO HAVE THIS KIND OF POISE, IT'S ENCROACHMENT ON JACK BARRETT. A LITTLE EARLY. BUT KEEP AN EYE ON THIS QUARTERBACK HERE. ZERO PANIC. JUST NO PANIC. HE DOESN'T SEE PRESSURE AS WELL AS I THINK SOME YOUNG QUARTERBACKS DO. HE KIND OF AVOIDS IT WHEN HE CAN. >> Tiki: NOT ONLY THAT, RONDE, HE GETS OUT OF THE POCKET TO HIS LEFT, GETS HIS BODY WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. SAQUON STAYING ACTIVE. >> Kenny: BARKLEY GAINED 19, FIRST AND GOAL FROM THE BUCCANEERS' 7. JONES, BARKLEY, OFF HIS HAND! >> Tiki: THIS WAS A WELL SET UP PLAY. >> Ronde: TWO HANDS. TWO HANDS. >> Tiki: SAQUON BARKLEY MUST CATCH THIS BALL. >> THIS IS A PLAY WHERE IT'S A NATURAL PICK. DeVONTE DAVIS HAS HIM IN COVERAGE. YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES WE'VE SHOWN, HE WASN'T EVEN IN FRAME. JUST TAKE A LITTLE BIT EXTRA TIME AND PUT TWO HANDS, TICK. >> Kenny: HOW MANY? >> Tiki: TWO HANDS. CAN'T AFFORD TO HIT YOU IN A BAD PLACE. >> Kenny: SECOND AND 5, TO THE END ZONE, TOUCHDOWN! >> Ronde: HE KNEW THAT WAS COMING EVENTUALLY. WHEN YOU HAVE SAQUON BARKLEY AND DANIEL JONES IN THE BACKFIELD AT THE SAME TIME THERE MUST BE A READ OPTION IN THERE. >> Tiki: YOU'RE RIGHT. THIS IS A PLAY THAT HAS PROBABLE BEEN IN THE PLAYBOOK SINCE THE BEGINNING OF CAMP. WE ACTUALLY SAW THIS, IF YOU'RE A GIANTS' FAN, YOU SAW THIS IN ONE OF THE MINICAMPS. MAN, THEY'RE DOING A ZONE READ. >> Kenny: IN HIS 16 SEASONS, FUTURE HALL OF FAMER, ELI MANNING, SEVEN CAREER TOUCHDOWNS. >> Ronde: GREAT DRIVE BY NEW YORK, HAD TO ANSWER, AND THEY DID. >> Kenny: ROSAS HAS THE EXTRA POINT. THEY LOST BARKLEY MIDWAY THROUGH THE DRIVE. HE RETURNS. DANIEL JONES, IN HIS FIRST NFL >>> WHAT A START FOR DANIEL JONES. >> I HAVE TO TELL YOU, HAVING AN ACRE QUARTERBACK IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAVE CHANGES YOUR GAME AND GAME PLANNING. WE TALKED TO COACH SHURMUR, WE SAW THE PLAY RONDE SAID, HE DIDN'T PANIC. HE'S BUILT FOR THIS. HIS HEART BEAT DOES NOT RAISE. MORE IMPORTANTLY, IF HE GETS OUTSIDE THE POCKET, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT HE CAN DO. >> Kenny: SO, ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR THE TAMPA BAY BUCS. SCORE TOUCHDOWNS ON THEIR FIRST TWO DRIVES. I'M JOINED BY A PAIR OF BASHERS, TIKI AND RONDE ON THE RIGHT ON A SPECIAL DAY IN TAMPA. TIKI, RONDE WILL BE LEAVING US IN THE SECOND QUARTER. >> Tiki: HE WILL. HE'S GOING TO GET HIS NAME PUT IN, I GUESS, THE RAFTERS OF A FOOTBALL STADIUM NEXT TO THE ALL TIME GREATS IN FOOTBALL HISTORY, JON GRUDEN AND TONY DUNGY IS UP THERE AS WELL AS LEROY SELMON. IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME. I'M PROUD OF YOU, BROTHER. >> Kenny: RONDE WILL BECOME THE 13th IN THE BUCS RING OF HONOR. HE'S GOT IT. FINALLY DRAGGED DOWN BY JANORIS JENKINS AT THE GIANTS' 50 YARD LINE. >> JAMEIS CAME IN COMPLETING 11%. THIS MATCHUP IS NOT ONE TO FAVOR THE GIANTS. THERE'S NOBODY TO HELP. JAMEIS WINSTON WITH THIS THROW, JUST LIKE THE TWO PREVIOUS BALLS DOWN THE FIELD, HE GAVE IT SOME AIR AND LAYERING TO ALLOW THE RECEIVER TO GO UNDERNEATH IT. ANOTHER HUGE PLAY FOR MIKE EVANS. >> Kenny: IF EVANS KEEPS THIS UP, HE MIGHT JOIN YOU AT HALFTIME. >> Ronde: HE'S ALREADY THERE, BROTHER. >> Tiki: WHAT YEAR IS THIS FOR MIKE EVANS? SIX, FIVE? >> Ronde: SIX. HE HAS EVERY SINGLE RECEIVING RECORDS AT TAMPA BAY AND WILL GET THE CATCHING RECORD FROM RICKIE AT SOME POINT. HE IS ONE OF THE TOP RECEIVERS. HE DOESN'T GET A LOT OF CREDIT BECAUSE HE'S IN A SMALL MARKET AND THE TEAM HAS NOT BEEN WINNING. THERE IS A REASON THE GUY GOES TO PRO BOWL AFTER PRO BOWL WITH THE RESPECT OF EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL. >> Kenny: LAST SEASON, OVER 1500. WINSTON ON SECOND DOWN, TO THE END ZONE, LOOKING FOR EVANS, INCOMPLETE. >> THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THOSE DAYS FOR JANORIS JENKINS. I'VE BEEN ON THE CORNER PLENTY OF TIMES YOU DON'T GET ANY HELP. TO NOT GET ANY HELP ALL DAY LONG MIGHT BE ASKING A LITTLE MUCH OF JANORIS JENKINS. >> Tiki: WHAT CAN HE DO, RONDE? WHAT CAN HE DO TO MITIGATE THIS? >> Ronde: THERE'S A SIZE ADVANTAGE. I THINK JAMES BESSINGER IS ASKING A LOT OF HIS CORNER WITHOUT GIVING HELP TO MIKE EVANS. >> Kenny: 30 DOWN AND NINE. WINSTON IN TROUBLE, DOWN HE GOES! OSHANE, THE ROOKIE, HE JUST GOES DOWN. >> WE ASKED ABOUT HIM. HE GOES FAST. WHEN THE RUSHER HAS THIS MUCH TIME, IT'S HARD. JAMEIS WINSTON HAS NOWHERE TO GO WITH THE FOOTBALL, SACK WAS INEVITABLE. KEN THIRD PLAYER THE LAST NAME BEGINS WITH X. >> Ronde: I WAS WONDERING IF YOU WERE GOING TO THROW THAT OUT THERE. >> Kenny: MATT GAY, 47 YARD ATTEMPT. >>> GIANTS CALLED TIME-OUT. THEY HAD 10 MEN ON THE FIELD. A LOOK AT GAY WHO MISSED TWO EXTRA POINTS TODAY. WIND SWIRLING IN TAMPA. FIST EXTRA POINT ATTEMPT MISSED WIDE LEFT AND THEN HAD ONE BLOCKED. >> DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE FLAGS ON THE GOALPOSTS. THEY'RE NOT MOVING. IF YOU LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE STADIUM AND THE FLAG ON THE SHIP, THEY ARE STRAIGHT OUT. >> Kenny: SEASON HIGH, 40. GAY FROM 47, AND THIS TIME HE CONNECTS! GIANTS' DEFENSE HOLDS THE FIELD GOAL. >>> COACH PAT SHURMUR, OBVIOUSLY ELI HAS BEEN THE STARTER TO THIS POINT. WE WILL ADDRESS ALL AREAS AND PUTTING A WINNING PERFORMANCE ON THE FIELD. >> THAT WINNING EDGE RIGHT NOW COULD BE DANIEL JONES. I HAVE TO TELL YOU, GUYS. I AM A NEW YORK GIANTS FAN. I AM OVER THE MOON EXCITED ABOUT NOT ONLY THIS GAME AND THE REST OF THE SEASON AND THE FUTURE. HE LOOKED AMAZING SO FAR. >> Ronde: REALLY COULD SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT TAMPA, TIK. HE LOOKS OFFICIAL AND HASN'T TURNED THE BALL OVER. HE LOOKS COMPETENT. >> Kenny: BALLENTINE ON THE 24 YARD LINE. >> HERE IS DANIEL JONES' ABILITY, OUT OF THE POCKET, BREAKS DOWN. THE DEFENDER THINKS HE CAN TURN HIM OFF. HERE HE IS GETTING PRESSURE IN THE POCKET. NO PANIC. SLOW HEART BEAT. THAT IS A PERFECT ONE. YOU HAVE TO DEFEND AN EXTRA SKILL POSITION WITH DANIEL JONES AS THE QUARTERBACK. >> AS YOU SAY THAT IT'S THE PERFECT SEGUE. IF YOU'RE TODD BOWLES RIGHT NOW AND TAMPA'S DEFENSE, THAT'S IN YOUR HEAD AND THINK, THAT KID CAN RUN. HE CAN BEAT US WITH HIS HEAD AS WELL AS HIS ARMS. >> Kenny: OFF THE FAKE TO BARKLEY. JONES ROLLS RIGHT, FIRES DOWNFIELD, JUST OUT OF THE REACH OF STERLING SHEPARD. >> A DOUBLE MOVE HERE BY STERLING SHEPARD, ABOUT A STEP SHORT GETTING TO THIS FOOTBALL HERE. STUTTER AND GO AND SHEPHARD GOT HUNG UP A LITTLE BIT, OTHERWISE THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A COMPLETION. >> GOOD RANGE SHOWN BY ROOKIE, MIKE EDWARDS, THE SAFETY FOR TAMPA. THEY FOUND THE GUY THEY WANT TO GO AT. THEY'RE GOING AT CARLSTON DAVIS TODAY DOWN THE FOOTBALL FIELD. HE'S PROBABLY BEEN THEIR FIRST CORNER COVERAGE SO FAR THIS SEASON, GETTING ALL THE SHOTS EARLY IN THIS FOOTBALL GAME. >> Kenny: THERE'S BARKLEY. >> Ronde: TIKI, YOU MENTIONED SOMETHING EARLIER IN THE FOOTBALL GAME THAT'S RINGING TRUE RIGHT NOW. IF YOU'RE GOING TO TRY TO BUMP YOUR HEAD AGAINST THE INTERIOR DEFENSE OF THE BUCCANEERS, YOU WILL FAIL. YOU HAVE IMPROVED ON THE OFFENSIVE LINE. THERE ARE MASSIVE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE OFFENSIVE LINE. YOU WOULD HAVE NO CHANCE AGAINST THIS BUCS DEFENSE. >> SAQUON BARKLEY IS A CUTBACK PLAYER. I WAS WHEN I PLAYED. THE ONLY THING IS GET TO THE EDGE AND FIND A LANE. BY GOING INSIDE THE TACKLES, YOU'RE NOT GETTING THAT DONE. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND 10. GIANTS MUST GET TO THE 34 AND THIS PLAY BLOWN DEAD. FALSE START. >> JUST MENTIONED MIKE REMMERS IS PRAISING HIM ON THE OFFENSIVE LINE. THIS CHANGES THE MATH A LITTLE BIT ON THIRD AND LONG. THE REASON MIKE REMMERS GETS ANXIOUS HERE, TODD BOWLES KEEPS INSERTING PRESSURE AND LINEBACKERS AND SAFETIES IN THOSE GAPS AND YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO SET THE LINE QUICK. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND 15. GIANTS AT THE 34 YARD LINE AS JONES SETS AND THROWS! IT'S NEARLY PICKED OFF BY MIKE EDWARDS! >> THE BUCS ARE JUST PLAYING TOO DEEP MAN UNDERNEATH. MIKE EDWARDS IS GOING TO BE KICKING HIMSELF. CARLTON DAVIS IS OFF BUT HE KNOWS HE HAS SOME OVER THE TOP. JUST GOT TO CATCH IT, YOUNG MAN, GOT TO CATCH IT. CAN'T HIT YOU WITH A BETTER PLAY. THAT'S ONE THAT GOT AWAY. A LITTLE PRESSURE ON DANIEL JONES AGAIN. HE IS IMMUNE TO IT. DOESN'T CARE. WHATEVER. I WILL PUT THAT BALL IN THE RIGHT PLACE. VERY FORTUNATE THAT WASN'T THE FIRST INTERCEPTION OF HIS CAREER. >> Kenny: FIVE POSSESSIONS, FIVE SCORES, UP UNTIL THIS POINT. ROBBIE DIXON AND BOBO WILSON IMMEDIATELY AS HE FIELDS IT AT THE 32 YARD LINE AND ANTONIO HAMILTON WITH TERRIFIC PLAY ON >>> BRUCE ARIANS FIRST SEASON AS BUCS HEAD COACH, CHATTING WITH TIKI AND RONDE PRIOR TO THE GAME TODAY HERE IN TAMPA. AND WE TAKE YOU BACK TO THE LATE '70s, BABYSITTER BRUCE. >> THIS IS A RELATIONSHIP LONG IN THE MAKING, BRUCE AND MY FATHER, J.V. >> I THINK I'M ON THE RIGHT, TIKI. THAT'S ME. >> Kenny: THEY WERE TEAMMATES OR ROOMMATES? >> ROOMMATES. BRUCE WILL TELL YOU THEY WERE THE FIRST BLACK-AND-WHITE ROOMMATES IN THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT. CALLED THEMSELVES SALT AND PEPPER. >> HOW WAS HE AS A BABYSITTER? >> I DON'T REMEMBER. >> Kenny: ON FIRST DOWN, THAT PASS GETS BROKEN UP. WE ASKED BRUCE ABOUT WATCHING YOU GUYS AS YOUNGSTERS. HE SAID RONDE WAS ALWAYS HOLLERING. >> Ronde: TIKI AND I HAD FEBRILE FEVERS WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND WE KEPT BABYSITTERS BETTER. >> Tiki: LET'S BE HONEST, YOU WERE JUST A PAIN IN THE BUTT. >> Kenny: HOW MUCH DID BRUCE MAKE PER HOUR? >> Tiki: NOTHING. KEN THROUGH THE HANDS OF O.J. HOWARD WITH JABRILL PEPPERS DEFENDING. >> GOOD PLAY BY JABRILL PEPPERS DOWN THE FIELD. YOU MENTIONED PANIC. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. O.J. IS THE MATCHUP THEY WANT. THIS IS PERFECT. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT PLAY BY JABRILL PEPPERS DEFENDING O.J. HOWARD. A LITTLE BIT EARLY THERE. >> Kenny: THROWS THE RED FLAG. >> WELL, HE'S GOING TO GET THIS ONE, TOO. >> JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE WE GOT ONE OF THESE. EVERY WEEK WE SEE A PASS INFERENCE PLAY BEING CHALLENGED. >> Kenny: YOU SAID IT WAS DEFENDED PERFECTLY. WAS THERE ANY CONTACT >>> BILL VINOVICH TAKING A LOOK AT THE LAST PLAY. WE WELCOME IN BILL. WHAT DO YOU SAY? >> I'M WITH RONDE. IN REAL-TIME, THIS IS A GOOD PLAY BY DEFENSE. WHEN YOU'RE ABLE TO SLOW IT DOWN -- IN REPLAY, THAT'S THE RIGHT CALL. THE ARM IS THERE EARLY. IT RESTRICTS THE RECEIVER'S ABILITY TO MAKE PLAY ON THE BALL AND THEY'RE ABLE TO REVIEW IT AND COACH ARIANS WINS THE CHALLENGE. >> YOU AND I HAVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH ON THIS, PROBABLY ON EITHER SIDE OF IT. THAT HINDERS IN SLOW MOTION. I'M WITH YOU. IN REAL-TIME, THAT IS A GREAT FOOTBALL PLAY BY JABRILL PEPPERS. IN TODAY'S NFL, IT'S A PASS DOWN TO THE 42 YARD LINE. >> Kenny: BUCCANEERS GAINED 29 YARDS ON THE PENALTY. PLAY ACTION. WINSTON FIRES DOWNFIELD, IT IS CAUGHT. O.J. HOWARD MAKES THE PLAY. HALEY DEFENDING, 30 YARDS, FIST AND 10 FROM THE GIANTS 12. >> THIS IS A COUPLE OF TIMES NOW WE'VE SEEN JAMEIS WINSTON REALLY DEAL WITH PRESSURE WELL. SETTING UP IN THE POCKET, RESETTING THE POCKET, MOVING OUT AND FINDING HIS RECEIVER. GREAT CATCH. >> Kenny: BARBER TAKES THE HANDOFF FIRST DOWN AND GAINS A COUPLE. >> LET'S GO BACK TO THIS QUICK. I HAVE TO SHOW YOU WHERE O.J. HOWARD CAME FROM. HE CAME FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FORMATION AND IN THE TRAIL POSITION FROM THE GET-GO AND IN BAD POSITION TO DEFEND O.J. HOWARD AND ANOTHER PLAY FROM THIS BUCS' OFFENSE. KEN CONDITION UNDER FIVE MINUTES REMAINING. SECOND QUARTER, SECOND DOWN AND NINE. WINSTON, DOWN TO THE 9 YARD LINE OF THE GIANTS. LOOKED LIKE HE THOUGHT ABOUT HANDING IT OFF TO PAYTON. >> I DON'T THINK THEY'RE RUNNING ZONE LEAD TO PEYTON BARBER. LOOKED LIKE HE JUST MISSED IT TO PEYTON BARBER RIGHT THERE. >> Kenny: THAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOU, TIKI? >> Tiki: NO. BECAUSE I WANTED THE FOOTBALL. I WAS PRECISE. >> Ronde: THAT WAS NOT A JAMEIS WINSTON CAMERA IMPERSONATION. >> Kenny: BUCS CAN PICK UP A FIRST DOWN AT THE TWO. >> Tiki: THIS IS THE TIME HE SHOULD FIND GODWIN. >> Kenny: WINSTON ON THIRD DOWN WAS HIT, AS HE GOT RID OF THE FOOTBALL. IT'S PICKED UP BY ALEC OGLETREE. THERE WAS NO WHISTLE. AND OGLETREE WILL TAKE IT ALL THE WAY BACK. INSIDE THE 35 YARD LINE. >> Ronde: PULLED A HAM STING, IT LOOKED LIKE, TIKI. IT LOOKED LIKE THERE WERE THREE BUCCANEERS PLAYERS RUNNING ONTO THE FIELD. LET'S WATCH THIS. HE GOT HIT AS HE THREW THIS. THEY HAVE TO DETERMINE IF THAT WAS A FUMBLE. I THINK HE HAD POSSESSION OF THAT FOOTBALL WHEN IT WENT THROUGH. >> Kenny: REMEMBER, THE PLAY IN THE SAINTS-RAMS GAME BLOWN DEAD LAST WEEK, IN THIS CASE, THEY DID NOT BLOW THE WHISTLE BECAUSE THEY CAN TAKE A LOOK AT IT IN REPLAY. >> YOU'RE RIGHT. KEN CANADA REVERSE IT IF THEY WANT TO. >> IN THAT RAMS-SAINTS GAME, THE BALL WAS CLEARLY OUT OF HIS HAND. THIS IS CLEARLY IN JAMEIS WINSTON'S HAND. >>> THE CALL ON FIELD WAS OVERTURNED. IT WAS AN INCOMPLETE PASSES AS WE SUSPECTED IT WOULD BE AN OGLEBY INJURED ON THE RETURN. >> IT'S PRETTY CLEAR IT WAS EMPTY WHEN HIS ARM WAS GOING FORWARD HERE. GIVE CREDIT TO THE OFFICIALS, NOT BLOWING THE WHISTLE AND CALLING IT DEAD, THE VERY UNFORTUNATE PART, TO HIGHLIGHT ALEC OGLETREE DEFINITELY TURNED UP LAME WITH HIS HAMSTRING. >> Kenny: ON A 27 YARD ATTEMPT, MATT GAY, HIS KICK IS GOOD. BUCS EXTEND TO AN 8 POINT LEAD, AS WE CELEBRATE THE 100th SEASON OF THE NFL, WE TAKE A LOOK BACK AT CAREERS OF PRETTY SPECIAL TWIN BROTHERS. >>> UPON LEAVING VIRGINIA, TIKI AND RONDE BARBER FOUND THEMSELVES ON DIFFERENT TEAMS FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. TIKI BECAME A LEADING RUSHER AND RONDE BECAME THE ONLY PLAYER IN NFL HISTORY TO RECORD 25 PLUS INTERCEPTIONS AND 25 PLUS SACKS. >> Kenny: THAT LAST SHOT IN PHILADELPHIA, FOLLOWING THE 92-YARD INTERCEPTION RETURN, WHICH ESSENTIALLY CLOSED VETERANS STADIUM. >> Tiki: I APPRECIATE RONDE FOR DOING THAT. HE MADE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES FANS HATE ME A LITTLE BIT LESS. >> Kenny: THAT SPOT WILL NOT BE EMPTY FOLLOWING HALFTIME. RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR COACH. >> RONDE BARBER WITH THE ACCENT OVER THE E, FOR THOSE WHO CARE. BARBER WILL BE UP THERE. LIKE I SAID IT BEFORE, RONDE, I'M PROUD OF YOU. YOU HAD AN ABILITY TO SINGULARLY FOCUS ON BEING GREAT. THAT'S WHY YOU'RE GETTING THIS DISTINCT HONOR, THE YELLOW JACKET. THE GOLD JACKET WILL BE NEXT. >> Kenny: GIANTS BACK AT OFFENSE, TRAILING BY 8. DOWN TO SARA. >> Sara: OGLETREE IS DOWN HERE AND THE TRAINER WAS RUBBING HIS LEFT HAMSTRING. HE DIDN'T GO IN THE INJURY TENT, WALKING AROUND BUT HIS RETURN IS QUESTIONABLE. KENNY. >> Kenny: AND THE GIANTS DEFENSE. >> IT GOES TO THE BACK OF HIS HAMSTRING. THAT'S UNFORTUNATE, PARTICULARLY ON A PLAY THAT'S GOING TO BE CALLED BACK. WITHOUT HIM, THEY HAVE DAVIS IN THERE AND DAVID MAYO. WE WILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND SEE HOW THEY REPLACE SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART OF THEIR DEFENSE. >> Kenny: ON THE TOSS, IT IS BARKLEY. AGAIN, HE GETS SWALLOWED UP. SAQUON BARKLEY, COMING INTO THIS DRIVE, SEVEN CARRIES, ONLY 11 YARDS. >> WE TALKED A LOT ABOUT NDAMUKONG. BIG BO ALLEN JUST DESTROYED HIM OFF THE BALL AND NAILED SAQUON BARKLEY BEFORE HE GOT ANY TRACTION ON THE RUN GAME AND CONTINUED TO STRUGGLE WITH THAT INSIDE ZONE. >> DANIEL JONES 18 YARDS ON THE GROUND AND A TOUCHDOWN. SECOND DOWN AND 11. JONES, TO BARKLEY, OUT OF THE BACKFIELD. UP ENDED AS HE CROSSES THE 30 AND REMAINS DOWN. >> UH-OH. HE GOT HIT HARD ON THE KNEE BY MIKE EDWARDS. MIKE EDWARDS HAS BEEN REALLY ACTIVE IN THIS FOOTBALL GAME. I DO NOT LIKE THE WAY HE WENT DOWN ON THIS LEFT KNEE HERE. YOU WONDER, RONDE, IF THAT'S A THIGH BRUISE OR KNEE INJURY. WE HAVE TO GET AN UPDATE. LOOK HOW HE LANDS. ANKLE. >> MAYBE AN ANKLE. YOU CAN TELL THEY'RE TRYING TO FEED HIM, THOUGH, AND HE IS STILL STRUGGLING ON THE SIDELINES. >> Kenny: REPLACED BY WAYNE GALLMAN. THIRD DOWN AND FIVE. GIANTS NEED THE 35 YARD LINE FOR A FIRST DOWN. JONES UNDER PRESSURE, FIRES, COMPLETE, FOR A FIRST DOWN. AT THE 45 YARD LINE, IT'S DARIUS SLAYTON. >> THEY CONTINUE TO PRESSURE DANIEL JONES. HE'S UNPHASED BY IT, LOOKING DOWNFIELD, I KNEW I WOULD COMPLETE THAT. A ROOKIE QUARTERBACK. >> Tiki: THAT ONE HAD FIRE ON IT, TOO, RONDE. >> Kenny: FIRST DOWN, LOST THE FOOTBALL! AND LOOKS LIKE CARL HAS RECOVERED. >> IT'S THE ONE THING YOU WORRY ABOUT WITH DANIEL JONES. IN THE PRESEASON, WAS BALL RECOVERY, LACK OF AWARENESS WHERE PRESSURE IS COMING FROM. >> THAT JUST COMES WITH EXPERIENCE. >> I MENTIONED IT HE DOESN'T SEE THE PRESSURE. HE'S UNAWARE OF IT. HE HAS HIS EYES DOWNFIELD. GOOD DEFENDERS DON'T ALWAYS SACK THE QUARTERBACK, SACK THE FOOTBALL. GREAT PLAY BY THE BUCS' DEFENSE. YOU'RE SEEING NOW WHAT THE REST OF THE LEAGUE IS FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS TAMPA BAY DEFENSE. THEY PLAY HARD AND FAST AND PHYSICAL AND ALWAYS GO AFTER THE FOOTBALL AND GET ANOTHER TURNOVER HERE. >> Kenny: JACK BARRETT, HIS FIFTH SACK OF THE SEASON. HIS BROTHER, RYAN, IS A FORMER ELI MANNING BACKUP. HE COMES UP WITH THE RECOVERY AND WINSTON DUMPS IT OFF TO JONES. NICE TACKLE MADE BY GRANT HALEY. THIS WILL TAKE US TO THE TWO-MINUTE WARNING, BUT THERE WAS A FLAG. >> Kenny: BARKLEY HEADING OFF TO THE GIANTS' LOCKER ROOM. >> TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS ARE ON A DRIVE HERE. THIS IS NOT A GOOD LOOK ON SAQUON BARCLAY'S FACE HERE. WHEN YOU HAVE TO BE HELPED OFF THE FIELD, NOT ON YOUR OWN POWER, THAT'S WORRISOME. >> HE HAS SUCH A POWERFUL LOWER BODY, YOU ALMOST FEEL LIKE HE'S IMMUNE TO THOSE TYPE OF INJURIES. IN FACT, I SAID THAT EARLIER TODAY WHEN TALKING TO SOME FOLKS. HE HAS TREE TRUNKS FOR LEGS AND ANKLES AND CALVES. JUST THE IMPACT, THOUGH, IT WAS SO DIFFERENT ON HIS ANKLE AND HIS KNEE. YOU REALLY HOPE >>> SUCH A PROMISING START FOR GIANTS OFFENSE TODAY AND THEN THIS. >> DID YOU SEE WHERE THE ANKLE TWIST AND DANIEL JONES WITH LACK OF BALL SECURITY HERE, A TAKE AWAY FOR BUCS DEFENSE. THIS PICTURE RIGHT HERE IS INDELIBLE RIGHT NOW FOR GIANTS FANS AT HOME WATCHING SAQUON BARKLEY BARELY ABLE TO HOBBLE OFF. >> Tiki: WORST NIGHTMARE, RONDE. >> Ronde: JUST THE PRESENCE OF HIM KEEPS EVERYBODY ON THEIR TOES. WITHOUT HIM, THEY'RE A DIFFERENT OFFENSE. >> Kenny: WINSTON COMPLETE. OUT OF THE BACKFIELD OF THE GIANTS 28 YARD LINE. >> Ronde: WHEN THEY DO, YOU WILL SEE A LOT OUT OF HIM. HE CAN BLOCK. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND TWO. WINSTON FIRES AND INCOMPLETE. BARCLAY'S TEAMMATE OUT OF PENN STATE. 10 YARDS ON EIGHT CARRIES AND NOW IN THE GIANTS' LOCKER ROOM, A TIME-OUT TAKEN BY GIANTS, CLOCK STOPPING AT 1:25. WHAT'S COMING UP AT HALFTIME, KURT MENEFEE? >> WE TRAVEL TO THE SEAHAWKS AND SEE HOW THE STEELERS AND NINERS DOING AND DRIVE DOWN TO L.A. 5 AND THEN WE GET YOU A DECENT EDITION OF THE HALFTIME. >> Kenny: THANK YOU VERY MUCH. 31 REMAINING IN THE HALF. RONDE STILL WITH US. >> Ronde: I WILL BE SPRINTING DOWN. >> Tiki: THAT'S WHAT I'M HERE FOR, YOU KNOW. >> Ronde: I WANT TO SEE THIS DRIVE OUT. I WATCHED JAMEIS WINSTON OVER HIS FIVE YEAR CAREER. WHEN HE GETS IN TWO MINUTE SITUATIONS WHERE HE STARTS TO THRIVE AND ENERGY GOES UP AND STARTS MAKING QUICKER AND FASTER DECISIONS. WITH THE TALENT HE HAS AT WIDE RECEIVER, HE CAN PLAY THE DEFENSE IF THEY'RE PLANNING MAN-TO-MAN, AND IF THEY ARE, YOU HAVE TO THINK 13 IS GOING TO BE INVOLVED. >> Kenny: FROM THE GIANTS 20 YARD LINE, PLAY ACTION. WINSTON THROWS, IT'S EVANS, HIS THIRD TOUCHDOWN IN THE FIRST HALF. >> WITHOUT A DOUBT, THAT'S WHERE THAT PLAY WAS GOING. GIANTS LINED UP SINGLE HIGH AND KNEW JENKINS WAS ONE-ON-ONE WITH BIG MIKE EVANS. HE'S BEEN PLAYING LOT OF COVERAGE. IT DOES NOT MATTER. MIKE EVANS IS AN UNDERRATED ROUTE RUNNER. IF THE BALL IS ON TIME, IN A PERFECT PLACE, EASY TOUCHDOWN, MIKE EVANS' THIRD OF THE DAY. >> Tiki: THAT'S WHAT JAMEIS HAS BEEN DOING THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. THE BALL HAS BEEN COMING OUT IN TIME WHERE THE RECEIVERS CAN GO. I JUST ASKED YOU TWO BREAKS AGO, RONDE, WHAT IS A DB SUPPOSED TO DO IN THAT SITUATION? YOU'RE SMALLER AND CAN'T JAM HIM. WHAT DO YOU DO? >> Ronde: GO TO THE SIDELINE AND ASK FOR HELP IS WHAT YOU DO. >> Kenny: BUCCANEERS HAVE SCORED ON ALL FIVE POSSESSIONS. THREE TOUCHDOWNS AND A PAIR OF FIELD GOALS. MISSING THE EXTRA POINT AFTER MISSING TWO EARLIER FOR GAY. BUCCANEERS EXTEND THEIR LEAD AND WE HEAD TO LOS ANGELES FOR A GAME BREAK WITH CHARISSA. >> Charissa: THANKS. PANTHERS WERE TRAILING 10-7 WHEN ALLEN MAKES THIS SCORE. 13 OF 16 FOR 173 YARDS, PANTHERS UP 14-10 AT THE HALF. KENNY. >> Kenny: THANKS VERY MUCH, CHARISSA. THE TURNOVER AND FUMBLE BY DANIEL JONES LEADS TO 7 TAMPA BAY POINTS. >> Ronde: HE'S IN A STRESSFUL SITUATION, TIKI, YOU KNOW THAT. ONE THING YOU WANT TO SAY HERE IS SOMETHING POSITIVE GOING IN. SEE IF THEY CAN GET DOWN THE FIELD AND GET IN FIELD GOAL RANGE AND GET POINTS ON THE BOARD. >> Tiki: AS MUCH AS WE WANT TO SEE DANIEL JONES, THIS IS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR HIM. BALL SECURITY YOU'RE JUST TALKING ABOUT. BEING PUT IN THIS SITUATION. WE KNOW HIS HEART BEAT WON'T BEAT FAST, HE HAS THE SAME DEMEANOR AS ELI MANNING, DON'T FORGET HE WAS REALLY GOOD IN TWO MINUTE SITUATIONS MOST OF HIS CAREER. >> Kenny: 1:26 LEFT. TEXAS TECH AND NUMBER 5 OKLAHOMA, ALL STARTS WITH THE BIG NOON PREGAME KICKOFF SHOW AT 11:00 A.M. OWNERS WITH THE FOX SPORTS APP. THERE'S ELI MANNING. ONLY THE SECOND GAME SINCE HE TOOK OVER AS GIANTS STARTER IN 2004 HE HAS NOT STARTED. TWO SEASONS AGO IN OAKLAND. SMITH MADE THE START FOR HEAD COACH, BEN McADOO. >> INTERESTING RONDE CALLED BOTH OF THESE GAMES. >> Ronde: YES, I HAVE. >> Kenny: YES, WE HAVE. DANIEL JONES' FIRST NFL START TODAY. FIRST AND 10. COMPLETE TO STERLING SHEPARD FOR A GAIN OF FIVE. >> THIS ONE FEELS DIFFERENT THAN THOSE. GENO SMITH SUBSTITUTING FOR ELI MANNING DIDN'T SEEM LIKE AND THE COACH SAID, YOU DON'T BENCH ELI MANNING FOR GENO SMITH. >> ONE THING WE ALL AGREED ON. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN, JONES GOING DEEP! HE WAS LOOKING FOR RUSSELL SHEPARD, THE FORMER BUK. >> THERE'S TWO TYPES OF TWO MINUTE SITUATIONS, WHERE YOU GIVE UP IN FRONT OF YOU AND CHALLENGE. BUCS ARE CHALLENGING RECEIVERS HERE, ONE-ON-ONE COVERAGE. IF THAT'S A COMPLETION, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY DON'T WANT. >> Tiki: YEAH. THAT'S A TOUCHDOWN. RONDE, YOU'RE A ROOKIE QUARTERBACK, ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO IF YOU'RE TODD BOWLES? >> I DON'T THINK THEY'RE HIDING THEIR INTENTIONS AT ALL. THEY WILL PUT SO MUCH PRESSURE ON THIS ROOKIE QUARTERBACK, NOT BE SURPRISED IF THEY DON'T DO IT ONCE AGAIN. >> Kenny: SAQUON BARKLEY IN THE LOCKER ROOM. PRESSURE ON JONES ROLLING RIGHT. JONES HEADED FOR THE SIDELINES. A HIT FROM LAVONTE DAVID AT THE 35 YARD LINE, AND HE DID NOT GET THERE. >> SIX GUYS INSERTING PRESSURE. SEE A GAME FROM RYAN NAS SUP -- OR CARL -- WORKING WITH NDAMUKONG AND HE DID NOT PICK UP THE FIRST DOWN AND GIANTS HAVE TO PUNT THIS BALL AWAY. >> Kenny: BUCCANEERS HAVE ALL THREE OF THEIR TIME-OUTS. KNOCK 'EM DEAD AT HALFTIME, RONDE. >> Tiki: GOOD LUCK. I KNOW YOU HAVEN'T WRITTEN YOUR SPEECH BUT WILL KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK. >> Kenny: HE WAS ASKING US FOR ADVICE DURING THE LAST COMMERCIAL BREAK. >> Tiki: DON'T BE VERBOSE. >> Kenny: WE MIGHT LET HIM BACK IN THE SECOND HALF, TIKI. WILSON OUT-OF-BOUNDS AT THE 30. 36 SECONDS REMAINING. THERE IS A FLAG AT THE END OF THE RETURN, AS DANIEL JONES CHECKS OUT HIS LAST POSSESSION. IT'S BEEN A CLOSE TO PERFECT FIRST HALF FOR TAMPA BAY BUCS SCORING ON ALL THREE POSSESSIONS. >> Tiki: YOU'RE RIGHT. A LOT OF CREDIT BELONGS TO THE YOUNG OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IN BYRON LEFTWICH WHO FOUND WAYS TO GET MATCHUPS AGAINST AN INFERIOR CORNER, AT LEAST INFERIOR-SIZED CORNER. NO MATTER WHAT JENKINS DOES, THE BALL IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO HIM. WE TALKED ABOUT BRUCE ARIANS AND WHAT COMES UP IS HIS ATTENTION TO DIVERSITY. ALL THREE OF HIS COORDINATORS ARE AFRICAN-AMERICANS. HE SAID, I WANT TO GIVE THEM OPPORTUNITIES. BYRON LEFTWICH HAS DONE A HECK OF A JOB. >> Kenny: ALSO WORKED WITH BRUCE IN ARIZONA BUT WAS NOT THE COORDINATOR. HERE'S JONES. HE PICKS UP A FIRST DOWN. JONES ALL THE WAY OUT TO THE 45 YARD LINE. >> AGAIN, HERE'S A GREAT CALL BY LEFTWICH HERE. IN TWO MINUTE SITUATIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE'S NOT A LOT OF TIME ON THE CLOCK, YOU CALL PLAY THAT'S A DRAW OR SOMETHING QUICK HITTING. IF YOU GET A BIG PLAY OUT OF IT, THEN YOU CAN PUT YOURSELF IN SCORING POSITION. >> Kenny: LONGEST RUN OF THE DAY FOR THE BUCS. WINSTON THROWS, OVER THE MIDDLE, INCOMPLETE, IN GIANTS TERRITORY AND BUCS WILL USE THEIR FIRST TIME-OUT. SEVENTH RECEPTION. EVANS HAD ONLY SIX OVER THE FIRST TWO GAMES. SEPP TODAY AND THREE TRIPS TO THE END ZONE. >> SEVEN RECEPTIONS, THREE OF THEM ARE TOUCHDOWNS. HERE'S MIKE EVANS. THIS IS THE FIRST ONE WHERE JAN NOR WAS IN NO MAN'S LAND. HERE IS A QUICK HIT OFF INWARD MOTION. HERE'S THE LAST ONE. EVERY ONE OF THESE, THE BALL IS EXACTLY WHERE IT NEEDED TO BE. MIKE EVANS ONLY HAD SIX CATCHES, HAS SEVEN HERE AND 146 YARDS. >> SEVEN TARGETS AND SEVEN CATCHES TODAY. JANORIS JENKINS VERY OUTSPOKEN AFTER LAST WEEK'S GAME VERY OUTSPOKEN ABOUT THE EFFORT AGAINST THE BUFFALO BILLS. >> THIS ISN'T EFFORT, JUST NOT IN THE RIGHT POSITION. >> Kenny: BUCS WILL USE THEIR SECOND TIME-OUT WITH 17 SECONDS LEFT. >> THIS IS JAMEIS WINSTON'S OPTION AND THE TEAM AND ORGANIZATION AND FANS AND MAYBE EVEN HIS TEAMMATES TRYING TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT HE'S THE GUY GOING FORWARD. WHEN YOU SEE PLAYS LIKE HE'S MADE WITH MIKE EVANS TODAY, SEE A PLAY LIKE THAT DEAD INTO THE BLITZ COMING RIGHT INTO HIS FACE, MAKING THE RIGHT THROW AND CALL, A GOOD PASSER RATING AS WELL, THIS GIVES YOU THE BELIEF JAMEIS CAN BE THAT GUY AFTER ALL THAT HYPE AFTER THE FLORIDA STATE TROPHY AND HEISMAN TROPHY AND THE CHAMPIONSHIP. >> Kenny: WINSTON GOING DEEP TO THE END ZONE. TOO FAR FOR BOBO WILSON WITH DeANDRE BAKER DEFENDING, DOWN TO 11 SECONDS. >> I LIKE THIS BY BYRON LEFTWICH. YOU TAKE A SHOT. ONCE YOU GET OVER THE 50 YARD LINE IN STRIKEBLE RANGE, TAKE A SHOT AT IT. >> Kenny: ARIANS TOLD US ON FRIDAY, WE ASKED IF HE EVER BUTTS IN WITH LEFTWICH CALLING PLAYS. HE SAID, ONCE IN A WHILE I WILL TELL BYRON TO TAKE A SHOT. >> I THINK THAT MIGHT HAVE JUST HAPPENED. BRUCE ARIANS STANDING THERE STOICALLY. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND FOUR. 11 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK. THREE RECEIVERS TO THE RIGHT SIDE. WINSTON FIRES, FAR SIDE, AND THIS ONE WAS CAUGHT OUT-OF-BOUNDS BY EVANS. SO THE BUCS WILL SEND OUT THE FIELD GOAL UNIT WITH FOUR SECONDS REMAINING. >> AMAZING CATCH BY MIKE EVANS HERE. ONE EXAMPLE WHERE THE DEFENSIVE COARSE OF THE GIANTS HAD THEM IN A ZONE. JAMEIS ALMOST PUT THAT ONE RIGHT WHERE IT HAD TO BE. INSTEAD, YOU WILL GET A LONG FIELD GOAL ATTEMPT. LOOKS LIKE A 52 1/2-YARDER. >> Kenny: GIANTS HAVE SENT A COUPLE OF DEFENDERS BACK RIGHT AROUND THE GOAL LINE, ONE IN THE END ZONE, 52 YARD ATTEMPT FROM THE LEFT HASH. FROM 52, GAY'S KICK IS GOOD! A NEW CAREER LONG FOR THE ROOKIE OUT OF UTAH. BUCCANEERS, SIBS POSSESSIONS, SIBS SCORES, GIANTS GET THE BALL FIRST. RONDE IN INDUCTED INTO THE RING >>> WINSTON, END ZONE, EVANS, TOUCHDOWN! JONES INSIDE THE 5, TO THE END ZONE, TOUCHDOWN! AS WINSTON THROWS, IT'S EVANS, HIS THIRD TOUCHDOWN IN THE FIRST HALF. TODAY'S GAME FLOW BROUGHT TO YOU BY PROGRESSIVE, HERE IN TAMPA, AS RONDE WAS INDUCTED INTO THE BUCCANEERS RING OF HONOR MOMENTS AGO, KENNY ALBERT, ALONG WITH TIKI BARBER, AN EMOTIONAL SCENE, RONDE AND MOST OF HIS FAMILY MEMBERS ON THE FIELD. YOU WERE HERE WITH ME. YOU'VE GONE THROUGH IT WITH THE GIANTS. WHAT WENT THROUGH YOUR MIND? >> I'M SO PROUD OF MY BROTHER. HE'S SINGULARLY FOCUSED ON BEING GREAT AT EVERYTHING HE DOES. I ALWAYS JOKE WITH HIM BECAUSE HE ALWAYS FOLLOWS ME. I STARTED FIRST IN COLLEGE AND THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE. IT'S A TESTAMENT TO HIM AND THAT'S WHAT THAT NAME REPRESENTS. >> LET'S LOOK AT PART OF THE CEREMONY HERE IN TAMPA MOMENTS AGO. >>> GOING FOR THE DEEP PLAY ON THE BACK OF THE JERSEY AS HE DID AT VETERANS STADIUM IN 2003. >> THAT LAST TOUCHDOWN SCORED. >> THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. OUR PARTNER, YOUR TWIN BROTHER. WHAT A MOMENT. >> YEAH. IT WAS A GREAT MOMENT. A GREAT MOMENT FOR US, HIS FAMILY. GREAT MOMENT FOR HIS EXTENDED FAMILY, WHICH IS THE GLAZERS AND THIS BUCCANEER COMMUNITY AND PLAYERS AND FANS, EVERYBODY IS PROUD OF HIM. HE SAYS, I HOPE HE MADE THEM PROUD. HE DEFINITELY DID, BROTHER, HE DEFINITELY DID. >> Kenny: NOW, LET'S SEE HOW QUICKLY HE GETS UP TO THE BROADCAST BOOTHE. >> Tiki: HE'S QUICK. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT ELEVATOR IS FAST ENOUGH BEFORE IT KICKS OFF. >> Kenny: DANIEL JONES IN HIS FIRST NFL START LED GIANTS ON TWO SCORES DRIVES. THEY HAD A FUMBLE LATE IN THE SECOND QUARTER LED TO A BUCCANEERS' TOUCHDOWN. >> Tiki: FOR A MINUTE, IT FELT LIKE IT WOULD BE JONES. BUT THEY HAVE HAD AN ACHILLES HEEL PLAGUING THEM TODAY. >> Kenny: GIANTS STARTING IN THE THIRD QUARTER. ONE OF THE KEY MOMENTS, TIKI, THE INJURY SUFFERED BY SAQUON BARKLEY. >> Tiki: YOU NEVER WANT TO GET TURNED UP LIKE THAT. SO MANY THINGS CAN HAPPEN WITH YOUR BODY IN THE AIR. YOU'RE TURNED UP. YOU SEE HIM LIMPING OFF THE FIELD WITH TWO ASSISTANT GIANTS STAFF MEMBERS. HE IS NOT IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW. WAYNE BOWMAN IS A BACKUP AND NOT AS POWERFUL. THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE AND THAT JACKET IS PRETTY COOL, BRO. >> THANK YOU, BRO. >> JONES' PASS IS CAUGHT, EVANS STILL GOING DOWN THE SIDELINE, EVAN WILL TAKE THIS ALL THE WAY. >> Tiki: WHAT A GREAT READ BY JONES AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHAT A GREAT JOB BY EVAN ENGRAM ONLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE GUYS GOING DOWNFIELD AND EVAN ENGRAM TAKES IT THE DISTANCE. >> Ronde: HOW ABOUT THE CATCHABILITY. WE MENTIONED EARLIER, HE RUNS LIKE A WIDEOUT. ONE OF THE FASTEST. NO CHANCE OF CLOSING THAT DISTANCE. ONLY ONE TACKLE. WHEN YOU'RE A SAFETY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD, YOU ONLY HAVE ONE SHOT TO FIND THE ANGLE ESPECIALLY ON A GUY THIS ATHLETIC. HUGE PLAY. >> Kenny: 75 YARDS. FIRST TOUCHDOWN PASSES IN THE NFL FOR DANIEL JONES ON THE FIRST PLAY OF THIS SECOND HALF. >> Tiki: THAT'S A MEMORABLE ONE. HERE WE ARE WITH THIS GAME THAT DOESN'T FEEL SO OUT OF HAND. IT WAS GOING INTO THE HALFTIME, 28-10. >> Kenny: NOW, GIANTS GO FOR TWO. TWO POINT CONVERSION ATTEMPT. JONES THROWS AN FINDS HIS MAN, STERLING SHEPARD. SO GIANTS CONVERT AND PULL TO WITHIN 10. >> Tiki: YOU'RE GOING TO SEE STERLING SHEPARD GET MATCHED UP ON LAVONTE DAVID. STERLING SHEPARD WILL RUN THERE IN AND CREATES A NATURAL PICK FROM HIS OWN PLAYERS. GREAT PLAY DESIGN AND GREAT EXECUTION, TWO POINTS ON THE BOARD FOR STERLING SHEPPARD. I AGREE WITH YOU, TIKI. TWO POINT POSSESSION MAKES IT A TWO POSSESSION GAME. JUST THE FEEL IS DIFFERENT COMING OUT OF HALFTIME. WE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT GOING IN, MAKING ADJUSTMENTS, WHAT WILL YOU DO DIFFERENTLY AND THEY CAME OUT FIRING. >> Tiki: YOU HAVE TO HAVE A MOMENTUM CHANGING PLAY. A CROSSING ROUTE TO EVAN ENGRAM. YOU HOPE FOR A BIG PLAY BUT DON'T EXPECT A 75-YARDER. FANTASTIC JOB BY DANIEL JONES. HE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT IMPRESS FROM THE BEGINNING. WE SESAY KWON BARKLEY ON THE SIDELINE. THIS IS NOT AN ENCOURAGING SIGN AT ALL. A BOOT ON HIS ANKLE AND HUG FROM COACH SHURMUR WHICH DOESN'T PORTEND ANYTHING GOOD. >> Kenny: BUCCANEERS WILL START AT THEIR 25 YARD LINE, LEADING GIANTS BY 10. TO SARA. >> Sara: GREAT START FOR GIANTS IN THE SECOND HALF BUT THEY HAVE TO GO THE REST OF THE WAY FOR SAQUON BARKLEY. HE HAD EXRAYS AND IN CRUTCHES AND WON'T PLAY THE REST OF THE DAY, NEITHER WILL ALEC OGLETREE. >> Kenny: OGLETREE CALLED BACK AND WHISTLE NOT BLOWN, INITIALLY RULED A FUMBLE BY WINSTON, REVERTS TO AN INCOMPLETE PASS. UNFORTUNATELY FOR THE GIANTS, THEY DID NOT GET THE BALL ON THE TURNOVER AND THEY LOSE ONE OF THEIR LEADERS ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE, ALEC OGLETREE. PEYTON BARBER TO THE 26 YARD LINE, GAIN OF ONE. >> GAMES ARE ABOUT MOMENTUM. YOU HAVE A PLAY LIKE GIANTS DID IN THE SECOND HALF, MOMENTUM CHANGES. JAMEIS WINSTON AND THIS OFFENSE NEED TO TRY AND ANSWER THAT. IF YOU'RE GIANTS, YOU CAN CONTINUE IT IN THE SECOND HALF. >> Kenny: WINSTON, OVER THE MIDDLE, O.J. HOWARD. >> THIS IS A BROKEN RECORD. PUT THREE RECEIVERS AWAY FROM THE TIGHT END AND PUT HIM ON A ONE-ON-ONE MATCHUP AND HE WILL WIN. HIS SIZE IS TOO MUCH FOR A DEFENSIVE BACK PLAYING OUTSIDE LEVERAGE TO MAKE A PLAY. QUICK DECISION BY JAMEIS WINSTON AND KNEW EXACTLY WHERE TO PUT THAT FOOTBALL. BIG GAME TO O.J. HOWARD. >> Kenny: 18 YARDS PASS PLAY. FROM THE 44 YARD LINE. IT'S BARBER. BACK DOWN TO SARA. >> Sara: KENNY BERSERIANS WAS HAPPY WITH HIS TEAM. AS FOR MIKE EDWARDS, WILL HE KEEP GETTING FED LIKE THAT? HE SAID, YES. THEY LOVE THE JANORIS MATCHUP FOR EVANS. >> THREE TOUCHDOWNS FOR MIKE EVANS IN THE FIRST HALF. >> NOT BAD AT ALL. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND SIX. UP THE MIDDLE AND ACROSS MIDFIELD, BARBER. AGAINST THIS GIANTS' DEFENSE, THEY HAVE NOT STOPPED THE BUCS TODAY AND NOT FORCED A PUNT. SIX TOUCHDOWNS AND GIANTS HAVE ALLOWED 11 DRIVES OF 70 YARDS OVER THE FIRST 10 QUARTERS THIS SEASON. >> THAT'S A LITTLE BIT EMBARRASSING IF YOU'RE COACH BETTCHER, WHO TAKES PRIDE IN IT. THEY'RE SO QUICK ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE BALL WITH THE FACT THEY HAVE ZERO TURNOVERS ON THE SEASON. >> Kenny: TRY AND STOP THE BUCCANEERS ON THIRD DOWN AND THREE. WINSTON, THE SLANT, BROKEN OFF AND NEARLY PICKED OFF BY JANORIS JENKINS. >> JUST A BAD PASS BY HIM. THERE'S PLENTY OF SPACE THERE FOR THE COMPLETION. A GOOD JOB, TOO, TIKI, BY JANORIS JENKINS. WE HAVE SEEN HIM DOING THIS HIS ENTIRE CAREER. HE IS A SPLASH PLAYMAKER. SURE HE WANTS THAT ONE BACK. >> Kenny: FIRST PUNT OF THE DAY BY THE BUCS. BRADLEY PINION FROM HIS 40. D.J. JONES BACK DEEP. IT WILL BOUNCE FROM THE END ZONE TOUCHBACK. GIANTS WITH A QUICK STRIKE EARLIER THIS THIRD QUARTER ON THEIR FIRST >>> 10 POINT GAME IN TAMPA. DANIEL JONES, 198 YARDS. ONE PASSING TOUCHDOWN, RAN FOR ONE. SAQUON BARKLEY INJURED IN THE FIRST HALF, NOW ON CRUTCHES. BIG GAME FOR ENGRAM. FOLLOWING THE BUCCANEERS FIRST PUNT OF THE GAME, GIANT START FROM THEIR 20 WITH WAYNE GOLDMAN IN THE BACKFIELD. THEY GET IT IN THE HANDS OF STERLING SHEPARD AND HE WILL PICK UP A FIRST DOWN TO THE 38, GAIN OF 18. >> GUYS, I THINK WE CAN AGREE THIS GIANTS' OFFENSE HAS BEEN EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED. IT'S DIVERSE AND MULTIPLE. SEEING REVERSE PLAYS OUT OF THE RECEIVER, THAT'S THE SECOND ONE TODAY. I THINK THEY'VE BEEN BENEFITTED MOSTLY BY THE RETURN OF STERLING SHEPARD, GREAT WORK AS A RECEIVER AND RUNNER. IT LOOKS MORE DIVERSE AND MORE LIVE WITH ENERGY AND WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO GET OUT OF INSERTING THIS YOUNGER QUARTERBACK INTO PLAY. >> Kenny: BACKFIELD ON FIRST DOWN. JONES SHOWS, IT IS SHEPARD ONCE AGAIN. SHEPARD RETURNS. AND NO GOLDEN TATE AS THEY WAIT FOR HIS RETURN FROM SUSPENSION. >> I ADMIRE THE CONFIDENCE OF THE KID. >> UNFAZED. >> DOWN IN A FOOTBALL GAME ONE PASS AND BACK IN IT. SO WORKMAN LIKE, ALMOST AS IF HE'S BEEN THERE BEFORE IN THE NFL AND HE'S MAKING IT LOOK VERY ROUTINE TO ME. >> Kenny: THIS IS GOLDMAN, HIS FIRST CARRY AND PICKS UP A FIRST DOWN. >> HE WANTED THE CHALLENGE OF THE BIG CITY, WHETHER PRESSURE, WHATEVER IT WAS, HE'S THRIVING IN IT. UNLIKE ELI, WHEN HE FIRST STARTED FOR GIANTS IN 2004, HE WAS STRUGGLING. MAYBE THE TALENT WASN'T AS GOOD. DANIEL JONES IS MAKING EVERY THROW. PRESSURE, MAKING EVERY POINT. YOU HAVE TO BE IMPRESSED IF YOU'RE GIANTS BRASS. >> Kenny: WHEN YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT THE TALENT AROUND LIE, YOU WEREN'T REFERRING TO THE RUNNING BACK, WERE YOU? >> Ronde: NO, I WAS NOT. >> Kenny: FIRES DOWNFIELD AND IT IS CAUGHT! DARIUS SLAYTON! >> THIS KID IS AWESOME. HE HAS GREAT PRESSURE FROM HIS FRONT SIDE. WATCH HOW EASILY HE MOVES AWAY FROM IT. KEEPING HIS EYES DOWNFIELD TO BOOT. >> YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO THROW THAT BALL THAT FAR GOING LEFT. >> Kenny: 46-YARD CONNECTION AS BUCS MAKE WHOLESALE CHANGES. A TIME-OUT IS TAKEN. FIVE OR SIX BUCS RUN OFF THE FIELD AS GIANTS HEAD TO THE LINE. >> IF THE GIANTS MAKE A SUBSTITUTION, BUCS CAN. GIANTS DON'T MAKE A SUBSTITUTION. EIGHT, SEVEN GUYS COMING INTO THE GAME. AT LEAST FIVE GUYS COMING INTO THE GAME THERE. THEY HAD TO TAKE A TIME-OUT AND HEADY PLAY OF DANIEL JONES GETTING TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE AND THREATENING A SNAP. >> A HOCKEY GAME BREAKING OUT. >> YOU EITHER HAVE TO GET A FREE PLAY THERE. HARD TO MAKE A LINE CHANGE THAT MANY GUYS DOWN INSIDE THE RED ZONE. THE RESTRAINING LINE FOR THE TEAM IS AT THE 30. THAT'S A 20, 25-YARD RUN FOR ANY SUB STUPID PLAYER. WITH ALL THE BIG BOYS. >> Tiki: RONDE MADE A GOOD POINT HERE. IF GIANTS SUBSTITUTED, THEY WOULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUBSTITUTE. YOU SEE THE REF STAND OVER THE BALL. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE THERE. >> Kenny: FIRST AND GOAL. FAKE AND JONES THROWS INCOMPLETE IN THE VICINITY OF RUSSELL SHEPARD. >> HE HAD HIM OPEN INITIALLY. HE SITS UP HERE. THE BALL COMES DOWN, THE TOUCHDOWN, HOLDS IT A SECOND TOO LONG. >> GOOD UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN WIDE RECEIVER AND QUARTERBACK WHEN HE'S RUNNING OUT OF THE POCKET, KEEP MOVING, JUST A LITTLE BIT LATE ON THAT DELIVERY. >> Kenny: SECOND AND GOAL. GALLMAN IN THE BACKFIELD. THIS IS GALLMAN, TAKES THE HANDOFF. WITH THE PUSH, GETS DOWN INSIDE THE TWO AND THEN A FLAG. >> GIANTS ARE VERY HEAVY PASSING THE BALL ON FIRST AND SECOND DOWN EXCEPT WHEN THEY GET INTO THE RED ZONE. THIS IS WHEN YOU COULD USE -- >> Kenny: THAT'S ON BENNIE FOWLER. >> TAKE A LOOK. VINNIE FOWLER RIGHT THERE. I THINK HE WILL COME DOWN ON THE CORNER, VERNON HARGREAVES. >> HMM. >> WE'VE HAD A COUPLE OF GAMES WHERE WE'VE SEEN MINIMAL IS ANY CONTACT, A PERCEPTION THERE IS A BLOCK IN THE BACK BENEFITTED FROM HARGREAVES GOING TO THE GROUND. THE OFFICIAL, ALL HE SEES IS NUMBER 18 JERSEY HITTING NUMBER 28. AS TIKI MENTIONED, IT WOULD BE A BENEFIT ON SHORT YARD RUNNING SITUATIONS TO HAVE SAQUON BARKLEY. UNFORTUNATELY HE IS DONE FOR THE DAY. >> Kenny: GIANTS PUSH BACK TO THE 13 YARD LINE. SECOND AND GOAL, EMPTY BACKFIELD. JONES LOOKING LEFT. AND HE THROWS. PASS WAS CAUGHT BY RUSSELL SHEPARD AT THE SEVEN YARD LINE OF THE BUCS. >> GIANTS COME OUT EMPTY HERE. USUALLY, PLAYING MAN-TO-MAN DEFENSE, YOU KNOW THEY'RE ADDRESSING DEFENSE. BUCS ARE IN ZONE. THIS WILL BE THE PIVOT ROUTE ON THE LINEBACKER. THEY HAVE DONE IT TO CERTAIN EFFECTS ALL DAY. BUT GOOD HEADS-UP, TACKLE BY M.J. STEWART TO GET HIM ON THE GROUND. KEEP AN EYE ON THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN AND THAT ISOLATION. >> Kenny: THIRD AND GOAL FROM THE 7. DANIEL JONES ON THIRD DOWN, LOBS ONE UP. THERE IS A FLAG AND IT IS A CATCH BY STERLING SHEPARD FOR A GIANTS TOUCHDOWN! >> LOOKS LIKE YOU WILL GET AN ILLEGAL HAND TO THE FACE HERE. THIS TOUCHDOWN SHOULD BE UPHELD. GOOD JOB BY STERLING SHEPARD SHAKING THAT ONE OFF AND GETTING TO THE CORNER. GREAT JOB BY DANIEL JONES AS WELL. HE'S JUST OUT OF FRAME FOR -- RIGHT THERE. WATCH VERNON HARGREAVES, MAN-TO-MAN COVERAGE, HAND TO THE FACE AND HE PUT HIMSELF OUT OF POSITION. HE NAILED IT, TIKI. WHAT A FANTASTIC JOB BY DANIEL JONES. SHEPHARD DOES ALL THE REST OF THE WORK. WHEN THE DOWN -- STERLING SHEPARD. GREAT COMPLETION, SECOND TOUCHDOWN OF HIS CAREER FOR DANIEL JONES. >> Tiki: YOU KNOW THAT FROM PLAYING THE POSITION SO MANY YEARS, IF YOU MISS, YOU'RE IN TROUBLE. ESPECIALLY IN TIGHT ONES. >> Kenny: THE POINT IS GOOD. >>> LOOK AT DANIEL JONES AS A YOUNGSTER GROWING UP IN NORTH CAROLINA, HIS FIRST NFL START TODAY, RAN IN FOR A TOUCHDOWN BACK IN THE SECOND QUARTER AND HAS THROWN TWO TD PASSES HERE IN THIS FIRST. EVAN ENGRAM TOOK THIS ONE 75 YARDS AND STERLING SHEPARD TO PULL THE GIANTS TO WITHIN 3. THEY TRAIL BY 18 AT THE HALF. >> DANIEL JONES WITH HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH DAVID CUTCLIFFE AT DUKE, YOU WOULD THINK HE WAS A FAN OF MANNINGS GROWING UP, ACTUALLY A FAN OF JAKE DELONE. KEV KEV HE FIST MET ELI MANNING AFTER HIS FIRST RED SHIRT FRESHMAN AT DUKE AND WHEN HE ATTENDED THE PASSING ACADEMY, HIS ROOMMATE WAS HIS SON, KYLE. >> YOU NEVER KNOW. RELATIONSHIPS RUN THE WORLD. >> Kenny: DANIEL JONES ROOMED WITH -- AND REPLACES THE -- PLAYS FOR THE HEAD COACH, SHURMUR. >> THINK HE MIGHT HAVE SAID, HEY, DAD, YOU MIGHT WANT TO TAKE THIS GUY. >> Kenny: BAKER. >> ONE TOO MANY CUTS FOR JONES. TIKI, HE IS AS GOOD AS ANYBODY I HAVE SEEN. HE TENDS TO DO IT A LITTLE TOO MUCH, HE HAS SUCH A BIG BODY AND NEEDS TO GET NORTH AND SOUTH QUICKER. GREAT TACKLE BY BAKER ON THE OUTSIDE. >> GREAT POINT. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND EIGHT. WINSTON, PUMP FAKE, NOW THROWS, INTENDED FOR MIKE EVANS, INCOMPLETE. RONDE AT HALFTIME DURING YOUR RING OF HONOR CEREMONY, YOU SAID YOU WOULD LOVE TO BE BACK ON THE FIELD. BUCS HAVE BEEN DOWN SINCE THE CEREMONY. >> Ronde: DON'T PUT THAT ON ME. THE NEW YORK GIANTS STEPPED UP AND THEY ANSWERED. TALKING ABOUT MOMENTUM, DEFINITELY IN THEIR FAVOR. THIS DOES NOT HELP THE BUCS AT ALL. DONOVAN SMITH IS OUT OF THE GAME AND WELLS HERE HAS ONLY BEEN WITH THE BUCS ABOUT TWO WEEKS. >> Tiki: LOOKS LIKE MAYBE HE WAS POKED IN THE EYE. GET AN UPDATE IN A LITTLE BIT. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND EIGHT. BUCKS AT THE 35 YARD LINE. WINSTON CAN'T FIND ANYONE, MOVING TO HIS LEFT, DOWN HE GOES! MARKUS GALLMAN TAKES DOWN JAMEIS WINSTON, FORCING ANOTHER BUCS PUNT. >> WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? FORCING THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. JAMEIS WINSTON DOES NOT WANT TO PULL THE TRIGGER AND GIVE A RISKY FLOW AND THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO STEM THIS GIANTS' TIDE FLOWING SO WELL. DEFENSE IS HOT. >> Kenny: MARKUS HAIR FLYING IN THE BACK. SECOND SACK OF THE DAY. OUT TO 26, LOST IT. AND NOW, A NICE RETURN OUT TO THE 40, SETTING UP EXCELLENT FIELD POSITION FOR DANIEL JONES AND THE GIANTS' OFFENSE FOLLOWING THE SECOND SACK OF THE DAY BY GOLDE >>> ELI MANNING HAS PLAYED IN MORE GAMES THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER IN HISTORY. TWO-TIME SUPER BOWL MVP AND I'M SURE ALL WOULD AGREE FUTURE HALL OF FAMER. >> THE NUMBERS DO HIM JUSTICE. PASSING YARDS AND TOUCHDOWNS AS WELL AND TWO SUPER BOWLS AND MVP. >> Ronde: FALSE START. IT BEGS THE QUESTION, TIKI, A GREAT ONE FOR YOU. BEGS THE QUESTION AS HE STANDS ON THE SIDELINE AND WATCHES DANIEL JONES NOW BE 17 FOR 25 AND 265 FOR TWO TOUCHDOWNS, WHAT'S GOING THROUGH HIS MIND? >> Tiki: I TELL YOU EXACTLY, HOW CAN I HELP DANIEL JONES BE BETTER. YOU BETTER BELIEVE AT HALFTIME HE WENT RIGHT TO DANIEL JONES AND SAY, THIS IS WHAT I'M SEEING AND HE'S THE ULTIMATE TEAM GUY, PRO OF ALL-PROS. >> Kenny: FIRST DOWN AND 15. JONES' PASS INCOMPLETE LOOKING FOR SHEPHARD. HE WAS IN THIS POSITION IN 2004 WHEN HE REPLACED A FUTURE HALL OF FAMER IN KURT WARNER. >> HE KNOWS HOW IT WORKS. THE DIFFERENCE IS KURT WARNER DIDN'T HAVE THE EQUITY. KURT WARNER WAS BROUGHT IN BECAUSE COLLINS DID NOT WANT TO BE THE DEVELOPMENTAL QB FOR MANNING. HE IS REPLACING A LEGEND. IN SOME WAYS IT WORKS BECAUSE THEIR PERSONALITIES ARE IDENTICAL AND MANNERISMS ARE IDENTICAL. KIND OF UNCANNY. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND 15. GIANTS WITH TWO TOUCHDOWNS IN THE THIRD QUARTER. PULLED TO WITHIN THREE. THAT TIME, JONES WAS HIT AS HE GOT RID OF THE FOOTBALL. >> LIKE JAMEIS PLAY EARLIER, NO CALLED WHISTLE BUT I'M PRETTY SURE THIS WAS INCOMPLETE. >> Kenny: IT WAS A WHISTLE AND REVIEWED. >> LOOK AT THAT SPIN MOVE. >> Kenny: WHAT DO YOU THINK? HAND MOVING FORWARD? >> I THINK THE HAND WAS MOVING FORWARD. >> THE BALL NEVER DISLODGED FROM HIS HAND. >> Kenny: WE REFERRED EARLIER FROM THE RAMS-SAINTS GAME LAST WEEKEND, THE WHISTLE WAS BLOWN ON >>> OUR REFEREE GAVE US A GOOD EXPLANATION. THIS IS AN INCOMPLETE PASS. JUST LIKE EARLIER, GIVE THIS CREW A LOT OF CREDIT WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO WITH THIS PLAY. IT MUST HAVE BEEN AN EDICT TO LET THE PLAYS GO AND DECIDE ON REPLAY. IT MUST HAVE BEEN A RIGHT DECISION. OUR RESIDENT RULE OFFICIAL AGREES AND DANIEL HAS WORK TO DO HERE. >> TO THE 49 YARD LINE. IF YOU JOINED US LATE, SAQUON BARKLEY INJURED. THEY'RE CRUISING 35-20. >> DARE WE SAY CAM WHO? HOW ABOUT THAT STORY LINE? >> CAM HAS INJURY ISSUES BUT KYLE SURPRISED PEOPLE, I THINK. >> ANOTHER ONE OF THE YOUNG QUARTERBACKS GET THEIR OPPORTUNITY. IT'S THE WAY OF THE LEAGUE RIGHT NOW. >> Kenny: BUCCANEERS START FROM THEIR 16 YARD LINE AND THROUGH OUT TO THE 22 FOR A GAIN OF SIX IS BARBER WITH 5 1/2 REMAINING IN THE THIRD QUARTER. TWO TOUCHDOWN PASSES IN THE FIRST HALF. RONALD JONES, LEADING RUSHER FOR BUCS. MIKE EVANS TREMENDOUS FIRST HALF, HAS NOT CAUGHT A PASS IN THE THIRD. >> I WAS GETTING READY TO MENTION THAT, KENNY. WHERE IS HE IN THIS FOOTBALL GAME? THEY WERE MORE CONSERVATIVE BUT MAKING ALL THAT HEY IN THE MATCHUP UP TOP. SEE IF THEY GO BACK TO IT. KEV KEV EVANS AND JENKINS, SECOND DOWN AND FOUR. THIS PASS IS NEARLY PICKED OFF. THE BALL IS LOOSE. YOU CAN SEE IT IS RULED AN INCOMPLETE PASS. >> THEY'RE TRYING TO RUN A FLIP SCREEN BEHIND THE INSIDE WIDE RECEIVER. THEY WILL COME IN HERE, A REALLY GOOD PLAY BY JANORIS JENKINS AND JABRILL PEPPERS. THE BALL WAS STUCK IN THERE. HE NEVER HAD POSSESSION OF THAT, DEFINITELY AN INCOMPLETION. >> Tiki: TOUGH PASS TO COMPLETE, RONDE, AND EXECUTE. THE COORDINATOR, JAMES BOETTCHER HAS BEEN PRESSING THESE GUYS OPPOSED TO LEAVING THEM OFF. >> Kenny: PLAY CLOCK AT 2:00. 39 AND FOUR. FIRST DOWN TO THE TIGHT END, CAMERON, HIS FIRST CATCH TODAY. >> ONE WAY IS YOU CAN'T GET ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE AND YOU HAVE TO PLAY A STACKED COVERAGE. CONNOLLY HAS THE COVERAGE. HE'S NOWHERE NEAR THAT. GOOD PLAY DESIGN AND WAY TO SET IT UP AND PICK UP THE FOUR YARDS FOR THE FIRST DOWN. >> Kenny: ALEC OGLETREE INJURED IN THE FIRST HALF. BARBER TAKES IT TO THE 36 YARD LINE. >> THE PHILOSOPHY IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT IN THE SECOND HALF. YOU TALK ABOUT NO TARGETS OR CATCHES FROM ALLEN BUT THEY'RE RUNNING THE BALL A LOT. BYRON LEFTWICH IS DEFINITELY PUTTING THE PRESSURE ON THE GROUND HERE. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND TWO, PEYTON BARBER WRAPPED UP BY ANTOINE OUT OF THE 31. >> HE'S A GUY HIS PADS ARE ALWAYS LEANING FORWARD. IF YOU NEED A FEW YARDS, TURN AROUND AND HAND IT TO THIS GUY. THE RUNNING OFFENSE AND SMASH OR WHATEVER THE TERMINOLOGY IS, THE DOUBLE-TEAM ON THE DEFENSIVE TACKLE AND LET THE RUNNING BACK BANG IT IN THERE. >> THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T DANCE. >> MORE IMPORTANTLY, BRUCE ARIANS SAID IT'S ONLY FOUR OR FIVE YARD RUNS. THEY'RE NOT LOOKING AT BIG EXPLOSIVE IN THIS OFFENSE. >> Kenny: PLAY ACTION, WINSTON STEPS UP, NOWHERE TO GO AND DOWN HE GOES, DEXTER LAWRENCE, THE ROOKIE OUT OF CLEMSON, FIRST-ROUND PICK WITH THE GIANTS' SACK. >> THE COVERAGE IS SO MUCH BETTER IN THE SECOND HALF OF THIS FOOTBALL GAME. JAMEIS DOESN'T WANT TO FORCE IT AND HE'S NOT GOING TO BE TRIGGER HEAVY. THE COVERAGE IS OUTSTANDING. ELECTRIC AT THE COVERAGE WHERE HE WAS LOOKING AND GIVES THESE DEFENSIVE LINEMEN OF GIANTS TIME TO BEAT THEIR BLOCKS AND GET TO THE CORNERBACK. >> Kenny: ANOTHER ROOKIE, RYAN CONNELLY, GUY WEARING THE GREEN DOT, HE'S NOW THE COMMUNICATOR ON DEFE >>> YOU JUST MENTIONED THE DEFENSE. THIS IS A LOT TO PUT ON. THE ONLY GET HIS START LAST WEEK. CONNELLY CAME IN AND WON THE JOB AND HAS BETTER OPPORTUNITIES. HE COULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE YOUNG PLAY CALLER HAVING TO TAKE ON THAT RESPONSIBILITY OF ALEC OGLETREE. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND 18. THIS PLAY IS BLOWN DEAD. FALSE START. >> THAT PUTS YOU IN A BIND, SECOND AND 22. THERE'S NOT P PLAYS BYRON LEFTWICH CAN GO WITH TO TRY TO MAKE THIS UP. ESSENTIALLY, YOU WANT TO GET HALF, I SAY IT ALL THE TIME. TRY TO GET HALF. EIGHT OR NINE MAKE BUSINESS IT SOMEWHAT MANAGEABLE. >> DOESN'T EVERYBODY IN THE STADIUM KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE A DRAW? >> Ronde: I DON'T THINK SO, TIK. >> Kenny: BARBER ABLE TO SPIN SPREE. >> MISSED TACKLE. >> Kenny: TO JENKINS OUT TO THE 35 YARD LINE. >> YOU'RE EXACTLY RIGHT. THE TACKLE WAS THE END OF THIS FOOTBALL PLAY. DRAWS AND SCREENS. EVERY DEFENDER WAS SAYING, DRAW, DRAW, SCREEN, SCENE. YOU CAN SEE THE GIANTS WERE VERY WELL PREPARED FOR IT. THIRD AND 17 FOR BUCS. TALK A LITTLE BIT MIXES IT UP BY COACH BETTCHER HERE. SOMETIMES THEY'RE PRESSED AND OFF, EXTRAORDINARY SITUATION. >> THEY'RE STILL WORKING WITH WHAT WORKS WITH THIS YOUNG DEFENSE. I ASKED HIM, WHAT'S IN? IS EVERYTHING IN? HE SAID, ABSOLUTELY NOT. WE'RE NOWHERE NEAR THAT POINT YET. >> Kenny: FAIR CATCH CALLED FOR BY T.J. JONES, AT THE 19 YARD LINE. GIANTS BACK AT OFFENSE. JUST OVER ONE MINUTE REMAINING IN THE THIRD QUARTER, DOWN BY THREE WITHOUT THEIR STAR RUNNING BACK. >> SAQUON BARKLEY, ONE OF THE FOUR RECEPTIONS HE HAD ON THE DAY, EIGHT CARRIES BEFORE HE GOES OUT. IN HIS STEAD, WAYNE GALLMAN HAS FILLED IN. HE'S ONLY CARRIED THE BALL TWICE. THIS GIANTS' RUN GAME IS SUFFICIENTLY HAMPERED WITHOUT SAQUON BARKLEY. IT'S BEING DESCRIBED AS A FOOT INJURY. >> YOU ALMOST FEEL LIKE PAT SHURMUR IS OKAY WITH IT RIGHT NOW. THE CONFIDENCE HIS QUARTERBACK IS SHOWING RIGHT NOW IS IMPRESSIVE. NO OTHER WORD FOR IT. THE WAY HE'S BEEN ABLE TO HANDLE THE PRESSURE DOWN EARLY IS PRETTY AWESOME FOR THE YOUNG GUY. >> Kenny: FOLKS TO GALLMAN, JONES IN TROUBLE, DOWN HE GOES. >> CARL NASSIB PUSHES THE POCKET. THIS IS WHERE THE INITIAL DEAL COMES FROM. TIGHT ENDS CAN'T BLOCK DEFENSIVE ENDS. ANOTHER GREAT MOVE GETTING INTO THE BACKFIELD AND BLASTERING DANIEL JONES. SECOND AND 22 FOR BUCS, SECOND AND 21 HERE FOR THE GIANTS. YOU ARE WAY OFF SCHEDULE, ESPECIALLY BACKED UP WAY IN YOUR OWN TERRITORY. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN, HAND OFF TO GALMAN. DANIEL JONES FIRST NFL START. KEEP AN EYE ON BARRETT. HE IS HEATING UP RIGHT NOW. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND 15. JONES AGAIN UNDER PRESSURE. YOU CALLED IT, RONDE. >> CAN HE BE MORE EXCITED? WOW. CAN'T BLOCK HIM. YOU CANNOT BLOCK HIM. HE SHOWED A SPIN MOVE EARLIER. HE JUST GOES RIGHT THROUGH THE BLOCK OF NATE SOLDER HERE. THAT MOVE IS UNSTOPPABLE. WE SAW IT LAST WEEK AGAINST CAROLINA. THE BEST THING BARRETT IS SHOWING ME IS THE ABILITY TO FINISH. YOU HAVE TO FINISH ON THE QUARTERBACK, DONE IT THREE TIMES TODAY. >> Kenny: SECOND CONSECUTIVE THREE SACK GAME FOR BARRETT. NIXON PUNTING FROM HIS END ZONE, WILSON -- DIXON PUNTING FROM HIS END ZONE. WILSON FROM THE 45. MET IMMEDIATELY BY SPECIAL TEAMS PRO BOWLER LAST SEASON, BLAKE CALL THOMAS. TERRIFIC BATTLE IN TAMPA. IS IT PAINTED ON? >> RONDE, THERE'S 10 OF THEM. 10. >> Kenny: GOING DEEP FOR CHRIS GODWIN. NO FLAGS WITH DIONDRE BAKER DEFENDING. >> I WILL SAY THIS IS A GOOD PLAY. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL TRY TO CHALLENGE THIS ONE. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BAKER HERE, LOOKING BACK FOR THE FOOTBALL, OUT AND UP, TRYING TO CATCH HIM UNAWARES. THE BEST THING HE DOES IS, LOOK, MAYBE GOT AWAY WITH OFFENSE, TRIES TO PULL HIM TO THE GROUND HERE. >> Kenny: THE FLAG HAS BEEN THROWN. >> KENNY, WE TALKED ABOUT IT A LOT AND IN OUR PRODUCTION MEETING LAST NIGHT. TO MAKE THAT POINT QUICK, A LOT OF FL >>> PAT SHURMUR CHALLENGED FOR OFFENSIVE PASS INTERFERENCE. DEAN JOINS US FROM LOS ANGELES. WHAT DID YOU SEE? >> I THINK PAT SHURMUR IS UPSET. I DON'T THINK THIS IS A FOUL. THEY ACTUALLY TANGLED FEET, BOTH PLAYING THE BALL. THERE IS SOME CONTACT BUT NOT CLEAR AND OBVIOUS BUT THAT'S A GOOD DECISION NOT TO RECREATE THAT FOUL IN REPLAY. >> FINALLY, DEAN, WE AGREE. >> THIS IS ON YOUR ENTERING THE RING OF FAME. >> THANK YOU, MAN. >> Tiki: I DON'T AGREE WITH EITHER OF YOU. >> Ronde: THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A HUGE PENALTY AND SET THEM BACK TO SECOND AND 25. I HATE TO SEE THE RULE GET SOMEWHAT TWISTED OFF OF THAT PLAY. IT'S A GOOD PLAY BY BOTH PLAYERS. IT'S A GOOD PLAY BY BOTH GUYS. YOU'RE GOING TO FIGHT FOR THE BALL DOWN THE FOOTBALL FIELD. IT'S HANGING IN THE AIR. THEY'RE BOTH IN GOOD POSITION LOOKING FOR THE FOOTBALL. I DON'T NECESSARILY AGREE WITH THE CHALLENGE BUT BILL VINOVICH DOING A GOOD JOB AGAIN. >> Kenny: STEPS OFF TO BARBER BUT MET BY TAE DAVIS IN FOR THE INJURED OGLETREE. >> Ronde: CONVERTED SAFETY, BETTER IN SPACE AS A COVERAGE GUY THAN SECOND DOWN DEFENDING LINEBACKER. THIS KID IS A RISING SUPERSTAR. >> Kenny: UP THE MIDDLE, GAIN OF FIVE TO THE GIANTS THIRD DOWN LINE. >> THIS FINALLY FEELS RHYTHMIC, CONVERTING ON THIRD DOWN AND TAKING SHOT OPPORTUNITIES. BYRON LEFTWICH IS FINDING HIS GROOVE NOW. HE UNDERSTANDS WHAT GIANTS ARE DOING TO HIM NOW AND GETTING CLOSE TO 400 YARDS OF OFFENSE. >> Kenny: THEY SCORED ON THE FIRST SIX POSSESSIONS, THREE TOUCHDOWNS AND THREE FIELD GOALS AND PUNTED ON THEIR LAST THREE. BARBER TRIED TO CUT TO THE RIGHT SIDE AND WRAPPED UP. T.J. HILL, THIRD AND FIVE COMING UP FOR TAMPA BAY. >> WHAT'S IMPRESSIVE, THEY'RE DOING THIS WITHOUT MIKE EVANS HAVING A SECOND CATCH IN THE SECOND HALF. BIG DAY ALREADY, 146 YARDS, ON THE BACK OF PEYTON BARBER STARTING TO RACK UP ON CARRIES. OVER FOUR YARDS A CARRY. MOST IMPORTANTLY, RONDE, HE'S BANGING IT IN THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. THIS WILL BE FUN HERE. 10 MINUTES LEFT, BUCKLE UP YOUR CHINSTRAP. >> Kenny: WITH DANIEL JONES AT THE HELM, PASSED FOR 265 YARDS, TWO TOUCHDOWNS, RAN FOR ANOTHER IN HIS FIRST NFL START. JONES HIT, BALL COMES LOOSE AND IT IS RECOVERED BY THE BUCS. AGAIN, THE QUESTION WAS, WAS THE ARM MOVING FORWARD? >> Ronde: THE QUESTION IS THIS EMPTY HAND. GREAT PRESSURE. THAT'S EMPTY-HANDED. THAT BALL IS NOT IN HIS GRASP, HIS POSSESSION SO TO SPEAK BEFORE IT COMES FORWARD. WATCH IT MOVING. GREAT DEFENSIVE PLAYERS, I SAID IT BEFORE, THEY ARE BALL AWARE WHEN THEY'RE GOING AT THE QUARTERBACK. YOU CANNOT ALWAYS GET A HIT BUT THAT BALL IS A SACK AS WELL. I THINK THIS WILL STAY AS A TURNOVER FOR TAMPA BAY. BARRETT, WHOLLY COW, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? >> HAVING A TOUGH TIME ON THIS OFFENSIVE LINE. IT'S A CLEAR RECOVERY. >> HE'S GIVING HIM EVERYTHING. THEY HAD AN EMOTIONAL LIFT A FEW MOMENTS AGO AND NOW ON THE FIELD, IT'S TOUGH. >> Kenny: FIRST AND 10, JONES AGAIN, UP-ENDED, COMES DOWN AT THE 18 YARD LINE. >> LET'S CONTINUE TO TALK ABOUT JONES. LAST YEAR AS A ROOKIE, ONLY HAD ABOUT THREE CARRIES. LIKE WEEK ONE, HAND THE BALL OFF TO THIS EXPLOSIVE MONSTER OF A RUNNER. RIGHT NOW, TIKI, TAE DAVIS IS SHAKEN UP ON THE FIELD FOR NEW YORK. THEY'RE RUNNING OUT OF BODIES AT THE POSITION. >> ALEC OGLETREE EARLIER. DAVIS HEADS TO THE SIDELINES. JABRILL PEPPERS MADE THAT LAST HIT ON RONALD JONES, CATAPULTING JONES UP IN THE AIR. OGLETREE, ONE OF THE GIANTS' CAPTAINS. NOW, DAVIS TO THE SIDELINES AS WELL. >> THE FACT THEY'RE PAYING THAT MUCH ATTENTION TO HIM RIGHT OFF THE FIELD IS TROUBLING. I THINK THEY ONLY HAD ONE OTHER LINEBACKER UP, CORRECT? >> Kenny: HE'S IN THE GAME. SECOND DOWN AND THREE. IT'S JONES AGAIN. THEY KEEP FEEDING HIM, HAS A FIRST DOWN. SIX STRAIGHT CARRIES FOR RONALD JONES. >> Kenny: THIRD DOWN AND TWO. IT IS BARBER, AND HE WILL NOT GET THERE! DALVIN TOMLINSON, ALONG WITH RYAN CONNELLY MAKE THE STOP. >> THEY KNOW WHERE HE'S COMING AND TRY TO CUT BACK IN THERE. CONNELLY, WE TALKED ABOUT HIS WINNING THE LINEBACKER JOB IN WEEK TWO BECAUSE OF THIS, HIS ABILITY TO SCRAPE AND MAKE TACKLES, A BIG STOP FOR THIS GIANTS' DEFENSE ON A BUCS OFFENSE DRIVING DOWN THE FIELD RUNNING THE FOOTBALL. >> Kenny: THEY KEEP THE BUCS OUT OF THE END ZONE, 23 YARD ATTEMPT, MATT GAY. PAT SHURMUR RUN THE BALL AND EAT SOME OF THIS CLOCK AND TRY TO CONVERT THIRD DOWNS. YOU KEEP TALKING, TAKE PRESSURE OFF THIS DANIEL JONES. AT SOME POINT HE HAS TO DELIVER THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD. IN DOING THAT, HE HAS TO WATCH OUT FOR SHAQ BARRETT WITH FOUR SACKS ON THE DAY. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND EIGHT. JONES THROWS AND IT'S COMPLETE TO THE TIGHT END, RHETT ELLISON, OUT AT THE 30. THE MAN WHO REPLACED ELI MANNING, 37 CAREER GAME WINNING DRIVES TO RALLY THE GIANTS FROM A FOURTH QUARTER DEFICIT OR TIE TO WIN THE GAME, FIVE MORE IN THE POST-SEASON. YOU MAY REMEMBER A COUPLE OF THOSE AGAINST NEW ENGLAND. >> YOU'RE RIGHT. THAT'S WHY ELI IS LEGENDARY AND A LOT OF GIANTS' FANS MIND WHEN IT MATTERS, CLUTCH TIME, HE ALWAYS CAME THROUGH. DANIEL JONES LIKELY LEARNED A LOT FROM ELI. >> Kenny: YOU WOULD HOPE. HE WOULD NEED IT HERE. THIRD DOWN AND FIVE. HERE COMES BARRETT. JONES GETS RID OF IT. GIANTS WILL PUNT. >> ZAK BARRETT WAS SO FAST, IT LOOKED LIKE -- HE WAS PASSING THE FLAG AND HE GOT AWAY WITH IT. GOOD JOB BY THE BUCS' DEFENSE. THEY NEEDED TO GET OFF THE FIELD THERE. GIANTS WIN THIS FOOTBALL TEAM AND THE DEFENSE GETS UP AND GETS A STOP HERE. THEY WILL LIKELY WIN IT FOR TAMPA. >> Kenny: THEY HAVE NOT PICKED UP A FIRST DOWN IN FOUR POSSESSIONS. THIS IS BOBO WILSON, TACKLED AT THE 22 YARD LINE BY CODY. MIKE EVANS, THREE FIRST HALF TOUCHDOWNS. >> HE WAS ON FIRE TO START THIS FOOTBALL GAME, NOT YET CAUGHT A PASS IN THE SECOND HALF. HE WAS THE CATALYST FOR THIS OFFENSE TO START THIS FOOTBALL GAME. EVERYTHING WAS GOLD BETWEEN JAMEIS AND MIKE EVANS. GIANT TO THEIR CREDIT, HAVE ADJUSTED SINCE THEN AND TAKEN HIM OUT OF THIS FOOTBALL GAME. RIGHT NOW, YOU'RE IN THAT FOUR MINUTE STRUCTURE IF YOU'RE TAMPA. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS WHAT? PROTECT THE FOOTBALL. >> Kenny: RONALD JONES IN THE BACKFIELD. BUCS START FROM THE 22. THIS IS JONES UP THE MIDDLE, OUT TO THE 29 JARD LINE FOR A GAIN OF SEVEN. >> IT'S SO UNIQUE, LIKE HE'S TRYING TO STEP OVER YOU INTO HIS GUT. HE'S BECOME A REALLY GOOD STRONG RUNNER. >> Kenny: THE NUMBERS FROM MIKE EVANS, NOTHING IN THE SECOND HALF. >> HE'S BEEN TARGETED BUT COVERED WELL, COVERED DIFFERENTLY, JANORIS JENKINS HAD A TOUGH DAY EARLIER BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS. THEY NEED TO STOP ON DEFENSE. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND TWO. JONES. GIANTS GET THE STOP ON THAT PLAY. GIANTS, WITH TWO TIME-OUTS REMAINING, 3 1/2 ON THE CLOCK AND TRAILING BY 6 AND WE USE A TIME-OUT HERE. >> WENT FOR PASS INTERFERENCE. IT WAS NOT OVERTURNED. THEY'RE DOWN TO ONE AND THAT WILL PLAY A PART. >> SITUATIONAL FOOTBALL IS HOW YOU WIN IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IS OFFENSE. RONDE MENTIONED. YOU HOLD THE BALL HIGH AND TIGHT. FOR JAMEIS WINSTON, DON'T TRY TO BE THE HERO HERE, IF YOU DON'T GET IT, PUNT IT AWAY. >> YOU HAVE TO GET OFF THE FIELD. THE FIRST DOWN HERE ALLOWS BUCS TO EAT SO MUCH TIME. THIRD AND FOUR, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. QUICK PASS, JAMEIS WINSTON EATS IT AND PUTS THE DEFENSE BACK ON THE FIELD. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PLAY OF THE GAME FOR THE GIANTS' DEFENSE IF THEY'RE GOING TO TRY AND GET A WIN TODAY. >> Kenny: EACH TEAM WITH ONE TIME-OUT REMAINING. THIRD DOWN AND THREE. A TERRIFIC TACKLE IS MADE BY MICHAEL THOMAS! >> GREAT TACKLE, KENNY. ABSOLUTELY THE TACKLE YOU HAD TO MAKE. THIS THING LOOKED A LITTLE BIT OPEN WITH ROOM TO RUN. MICHAEL THOMAS COMES IN IN A LOT OF DYING TYPE SITUATIONS IN THE FOOTBALL GAME. THAT'S AN OPEN FIELD TACKLE ON A BIG TIGHT END BY THOMAS. >> I HAVE TO TELL YOU, THAT'S A GOOD PLAY DESIGN BY TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS, BRING THEM IN THE BACKFIELD AND HE'S HERE IN THE BLOCK AND FREE RELEASES AND GOOD MOVE BY THE GIANTS AND SECONDARY TO MAKE A GREAT PLAY. >> DANIEL JONES WILL GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. TNL JONES IS BACK DEEP FOR THE GIANTS. GIANTS HAVE USED THEIR FINAL TIME-OUT. 3:24 REMAINING, TRAILING BY 6. FIRST GUY ABOUT GUYS WITH TWO TOUCHDOWN PASSES IN HIS FIRST NFL START SINCE SCOTT BRUNER IN SEATTLE IN 1980. >> QUITE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT. >> AND RAN FOR ANOTHER, CHATTING WITH ELI MANNING. >> YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ELI IS TELLING HIM WHAT TO THINK, HOW TO EXECUTE, WHAT NOT TO DO, ET CETERA. >> I WAS GOING TO ASK, WHAT IS HE TELLING HIM RIGHT NOW? >> THAT INFORMATION INVALUABLE. >> JONES WAS 7 WHEN ELI MADE HIS FIRST START IN 2004. GIANTS OFFENSE ON THE FIELD. >> WHEN DANIEL JONES STARTED THERE WAS NO PRESSURE, HE LOOKED CALM AND COMFORTABLE RUNNING OUT OF THE POCKET. IN THE SECOND HALF, TODD BOWLES WAS LIGHTING HIM UP MAINLY BECAUSE OF SHAQ BARRETT. ELECTRIC AT THESE MOVES. PRETTY RUSHES ALL DAY LONG, ACTUALLY TWO WEEKS LONG FOR SHAQ BARRETT. HE HAS A CHANCE TO GET AFTER THIS YOUNG QUARTERBACK AGAIN. IF YOU'RE DANIEL JONES, EMOTIONS CANNOT BE TOO BIG A SITUATION HERE. I THINK HE CAN HANDLE IT. >> Tiki: FROM EVERYTHING WE HEARD, RONDE, HE DOESN'T GET RATTLED BY ANY POSSESSION. >> Kenny: GIANTS ENTER THE BACKFIELD ON FIRST DOWN FROM THEIR 25. JONES FOR THIS OUTSIDE COMPLETED, STERLING SHEPARD, GAIN OF FIVE TO THE 30. M.J. STEWART THE TACKLE. >> GOOD TACKLE BY M.J. STEWART. YOU'RE IN GIANTS OFFENSE NOW. TWO MINUTES LEFT. GET IN RHYTHM AND GET ON THE FIELD AND A CHANCE FOR TOUCHDOWN AT THE END. >> GIANTS TRAILED BY 18 AT THE HALF. NOW, A 6 POINT GAME. JONES ON SECOND DOWN, FIRES AND IT'S CAUGHT. WHAT A CATCH BY THE ROOKIE, SLAYTON. >> WHAT A THROW BY THE ROOKIE JONES. UNDER PRESSURE BUT GETS THE BALL JUST WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE. SLAYTON CLIMBS A LADDER TO GET THAT ONE. PREFERRED HIM TO BE OUT-OF-BOUNDS BUT NOT TOO BIG AN ISSUE YET. >> HE HAD A 16 YARD RECEPTION EARLIER. ACROSS MIDFIELD FROM THE BUCS' 49. JONES TO THE OUTSIDE, IT IS EVAN ENGRAM WHO MAKES THE CATCH, GOT TWO FEET DOWN. >> AND GOT OUT-OF-BOUNDS MOST IMPORTANTLY. BEING IN THOSE CHALLENGE SITUATIONS, THE BUCS ARE IN THE JUNK SITUATION NOW. THEY WILL ALLOW THESE PLAYS CAUGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. YOU DO NOT WANT A BALL IN FRONT OF THE DEFENSE. TRY TO KEEP THEM INBOUNDS. DANIEL JONES HAS TO UNDERSTAND THAT. HE KNOWS THERE'S NO TIME-OUTS LEFT. A LOT OF PLAYS SHOULD GO TO THE SIDELINES WHERE RECEIVERS GET OUT OF BOUNDS. >> Kenny: I ASKED THE COACH. HE SAID IF YOU LOVED THE LAST 15 YEARS IF YOU'RE A GIANTS' FANEUIL LOVE THE NEXT 15. >> YOU'RE LOOKING AT WHY. JONES TO A WIDE OPEN STERLING SHEPARD, INSIDE THE 20, STILL GOING. FINALLY BROUGHT DOWN AT THE 12 YARD LINE. THIS WILL TAKE US TO THE TWO-MINUTE WARNING HERE IN TAMPA. A 36 YARD CATCH AND RUN. DANIEL JONES IS OVER 300 YARDS IN HIS FIRST NFL START. >>> HOW WAS STERLING SHEPARD SO OPEN? THEY'RE PLAYING CORNERS COVERAGE. THEY'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERTICAL RELEASE OF ONE AND TWO. WHEN THEY GET ON TOP OF EACH OTHER THEY HAVE TO PASS IT OFF BUT THEY'RE SO CONFUSED WITH THE REP THAT STERLING SHEPARD TAKES IT THERE. GREAT PLAY DESIGN BY SHURMUR AND PERFECT FOR JONES TO GET IT OUTSIDE THE 10 YARD LINE. EN. >> Kenny: JONES ON FIRST DOWN, COMPLETE TO BENNIE FOWLER. CARLTON DAVIS UNABLE TO BRING HIM DOWN. HE'S FINALLY RULED IN POSSESSION OF DAVIS AT THE 7. >> NOW, IF YOU'RE THE GIANTS, HOW DO YOU PLAY IT NOW, 1:40 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK. YOU WANT TO EAT AS MUCH OF THIS AS POSSIBLE AND DON'T WANT TO GIVE TAMPA A CHANCE. STILL HAVE TO SCORE A TOUCHDOWN, THOUGH. >> Kenny: SECOND DOWN AND FIVE. JONES TO THE OUTSIDE. THAT PASS INTENDED FOR EVAN ENGRAM WITH M.J. STEWART DEFENDING. >> GOOD COVERAGE BY M.J. STEWARD. A TOUGH MATCHUP NICKELBACK VERSUS TIGHT END/WIDE RECEIVER. YOU CAN TELL DANIEL JONES IS TRYING TO GO TO THE SIDELINES TO PROTECT THE CLOCK. THE INCOMPLETION DOES NOT HURT THEM. THEY'RE IN 4 DOWN TERRITORY. >> Kenny: GIANTS MADE A TOUCHDOWN -- GIANTS NEED A TOUCHDOWN, THIRD DOWN AND FIVE. JONES ON THIRD DOWN. HE THROWS, AND IT'S BROKEN UP, AGAIN, LOOKING FOR ENGRAM. >> GREAT PLAY BY LAVONTE DAVIS. GREAT PLAY. UNDERNEATH COVERAGE, YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND EVAN ENGRAM IS HIS NUMBER ONE TARGET. WE HAVEN'T TALKED MUCH ABOUT LAVONTE BUT HE IS THEIR BEST PLAYER ON DEFENSE COVERAGE TRYING TO RUN A PICK ROUTE. DOES NOT AFFECT THE RECEIVER, SETS UP THE FOURTH DOWN, ALL ON THE LINE RIGHT HERE. >> IT COMES DOWN TO THIS PLAY. GIANT OUT OF TIME-OUTS. 1:21 ON THE CLOCK. FOURTH DOWN. THEY CAN PICK UP A FIRST. >> COULDN'T HAVE BEEN SCRIPTED ANY BETTER, KENNY. >> Kenny: THEY CAN PICK UP A FIRST DOWN AT THE 2. ON FOURTH AND 5, JONES STEPS UP, TAKES OFF, HE'S IN, TOUCHDOWN! >> THAT'S THE DANGER OF A RUNNING QUARTERBACK. IF YOU'RE GOING TO PLAY MAN-TO-MAN DEFENSE, EVERY SINGLE BUK DEFENDER HAS HIS BACK TO THE QUARTERBACK, NOBODY IS GOING TO BE RIGHT HERE. WATCH ALL THESE DEFENDERS TURN THEIR BACK TO DANIEL JONES, ALL LOOKING TO RUSH -- TO THEIR ASSIGNMENT AND RUSH INTEGRITY IS IN AND THEY'RE IN POSITION TO WIN A FOOTBALL GAME WITH THEIR ROOKIE QUARTERBACK. >> THE EXTRA POINT IS GOOD. NEW YORK GIANTS HAVE THEIR FIRST LEAD IN THIS GAME. >> HOW ABOUT THAT BY DANIEL JONES, TOO? HE RECOGNIZED THAT RIGHT AWAY. AS RONDE WAS MENTIONING, EVERYBODY TURNS THEIR BACK TO DOUBLE COVERAGES. HE SEES A VOID. HE'S NOT ONE SCARED TO GO GET HIT-AND-RUN. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE COMEBACK. >> I COULDN'T AGREE MORE. >> BY THIS GIANTS TEAM. AT HALFTIME, 28-10. >> WATCH ALL THESE DEFENDERS TURN THEIR BACK AWAY FROM DANIEL JONES, TRYING TO DOUBLE THE RECEIVERS HERE. YOU HAVE TO SORT THESE GUYS. >> YOU'RE RIGHT. IT'S A SACK. SACK GETS YOU THINK DOING MUCH. >> Kenny: PAT SHURMUR SAID YESTERDAY ONE OF THE REASONS HE MADE THE CHANGE TO DANIEL JONES BECAUSE SO MANY YOUNG QUARTERBACKS AROUND THE LEAGUE DOING HEROIC THINGS. >> THIS IS WHAT HE MEANS BY DOING HEROIC THINGS WHETHER IT'S LAMAR JACKSON TAKING OFF AND RUNNING WITH THE FOOTBALL OR KYLER MURRAY DRAFTED SPECIFICALLY FOR HIS RUNNING ABILITY. DANIEL JONES IS A DUAL THREAT PLAYER. >> Kenny: ACCOUNTED FOR FOUR TOUCHDOWNS TODAY, RUN FOR TWO. 23 OF 36, 336 YARDS, WITH 1:16 REMAINING, TAMPA BAY TRAILING FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE OFFENSE BACK ON THE FIELD. >> THE STAGE IS SET FOR JAMEIS WINSTON AT HOME. YOU HAVE TO LOVE THIS SITUATION IF YOU'RE HIM. GIANTS SHOULD BE IN A CHALLENGE SITUATION ON DEFENSE BECAUSE THEY CANNOT GIVE UP A FIELD GOAL. WE SAW THAT IN THE NEW ORLEANS GAME LAST WEEK, THEY GAVE UP BIG PLAYS AND HAD TO KICK A FIELD GOAL TO WIN. >> SEE IF MIKE EVANS GETS REVOLVED IN THIS OFFENSE. >> Kenny: WINSTON ON FIRST DOWN, AWAY FROM PRESSURE, BEING CHASED, HE'S HIT, AND DOWN HE GOES. LORENZO ABLE TO MAKE THE TACKLE AFTER THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. >> JAMEIS ALMOST GOT SACKED TWICE AND ALMOST LOST THE BALL ON THE SWIPE BY CARTER. >> Kenny: BUCS HAVE ONE MINUTE REMAINING, NEED A FIELD GOAL. WINSTON THROWS. THIS IS CHRIS GODWIN WHO MAKES THE PLAY FOR THE TAMPA BAY FIRST DOWN AT THE 47 AND BUCS HURRY BACK TO THE LINE. 35 SECONDS AND NOW THE PLAY IS BLOWN DEAD. THIS WILL BE A REVIEW. >> CHRIS GODWIN HAS BEATEN HIS DEFENDER. IF HE GETS UNDERNEATH, THAT'S DEFINITELY A CATCH. IT'S ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE GROUND BUT HE HAD CONTROL OF THAT BALL BEFORE ANY PART OF THAT BALL TOUCHED THE GROUND. >> MAN, WHAT A GAME. HOLY COW. THIS IS FUN. YOU LOVE FOOTBALL, DUDE? >> YOU COULDN'T HAVE SCRIPTED IT ANY BETTER. >> YOU LOVE FOOTBALL? THIS IS FOOTBALL. TWO TEAMMATES A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT. JAMEIS WINSTON STILL TRYING TO PROVE HIMSELF TO BRUCE ARIANS AND BYRON LEFTWICH AS THEIR FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK. REMEMBER, THEY HAVE A ROOKIE KICKER IN MATT GAY, THE BUCS DO. HE HAS A BIG LEG, KENNY. >> Kenny: HE ALSO MISSED. TWO EXTRA POINT EARLIER. HAD ONE BLOCKED AND BUCCANEERS TRAIL BY A POINT. IT'S A CATCH BY GODWIN. THERE'S MATT GAY THE ROOKIE KICKER AND HIT FROM 52 YARDS EARLIER TODAY. >> THAT REVIEW HELPED HIM, GAVE HIM TIME. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE A TIME-OUT AND HAVE ONE REMAINING. THE CLOCK WILL BE READY TO PLAY WHEN THE OFFICIAL BACKS OUT. >> Kenny: THERE IT GOES. WINSTON, LOOKING FOR EVANS. HE MAKES THE CATCH! MIKE EVANS, WITH HIS FIRST RECEPTION OF THE SECOND HALF. IT'S A HUGE PLAY FOR THE BUCCANEERS. >> HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? I'M ABOUT TO SHOW YOU. >> IT'S MIKE EVANS BEING MIKE EVANS HERE. HE HAS BEEN DOMINATING JANORIS JENKINS ALL DAY LONG. WATCH THIS ROUTE. HE BEATS THEM AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE, DOESN'T HAVE THE SPEED TO CATCH UP. THE BALL IS PERFECTLY WEIGHTED. SURE-HANDED CATCH BY MIKE EVANS AND HIS DAY JUST GOT A LOT BRIGHTER. >> 40 YARDS, HIS EIGHTH CATCH, 190 YARDS TODAY FOR EVANS, THREE TOUCHDOWNS IN THE FIRST HALF. >> YOU CANNOT BLAME JAMES BETTCHER TRYING TO PUT THE NUMBER ONE CORNER ON THE NUMBER ONE RECEIVER. AS WE'VE SEEN ALL DAY TODAY, THE MATCHUP IS FAVORING HEAVILY THIS STUD WIDE RECEIVER, MIKE EVANS. WITH HIS TIME-OUT -- WITH THIS TIME-OUT THEY CAN AFFORD TO PUT THE BALL WHERE THEY ARE MOST COMFORTABLE AND SEE IF YOUR ROOKIE FOOTBALL PLAYER CAN WIN A FOOTBALL GAME. >> IF YOU TRY TO JAM AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. IT COULD HAVE BEEN OUTSIDE JAMEIS WINSTON'S THROW. HE PUT IT ON THE INSIDE SHOULDER OF MIKE EVANS. >> Kenny: WINSTON TAKES A KNEE. >> SNAP IS NEARLY PERFECT. JUST YANKEED IT. SECOND ONE, ROOKIE LAWRENCE, DOMINATES. BLOCKED. >> Kenny: THE CLOCK GOES TO THREE SECONDS, CALL TIME-OUT AND OPPORTUNITY FOR GAME WINNING FIELD GOAL. >> IF YOU'RE THE BUCS HERE YOU HAVE NEW MECHANISMS ALL THE WAY THROUGH, NEW SNAPPER AND TRAINER AND KICKER IN MATT GAY. A GOOD COACH WILL TELL YOU, YOU CANNOT LET CIRCUMSTANCE DICTATE YOUR BEHAVIOR. GO OUT AND KICK THE FOOTBALL AND WIN THE FOOTBALL GAME. >> Kenny: 4 FOR 4. MISSED TWO EXTRA POINTS. ROOKIE PICK OUT OF UTAH. NEW KICKER FOR THE BUCS FOR THE EIGHTH STRAIGHT SEASON. >> THAT'S AN UNREAL STAT. >> Kenny: 34 YARD ATTEMPT FOR THE WIN. MATT GAY'S KICK IS NO GOOD! >> INCREDIBLE. INCREDIBLE. LOOK AT SAQUON. >> HE'S LOOKING TO JOIN THE CELEBRATION. >> ABSOLUTELY HE IS. DANIEL JONES ON THE ROAD, FIRST GAME OF HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER ENDS UP WITH 336 YARDS PASSING, TOUCHDOWN RUN TO END. AGAIN, THE EXECUTION IS FINE. MATT GAY, PRESSURE GOT TO HIM. AND THEY MISSED. THE KICKING WOES IN TAMPA CONTINUE AGAIN. >> Kenny: GIANTS HAVE LOST A NUMBER OF GAMES THE PAST FEW SEASONS ON LAST SECOND FIELD GOALS. THE TIDE TURNS HERE IN TAMPA AS MATT GAI COULD NOT CONNECT FROM 34 YARDS OUT. PAT SHURMUR AND THE GIANTS CELEBRATE. THEY COME BACK FROM AN 18 POINT DEFICIT AT HALFTIME. A CONGRATULATORY HIGH-FIVE
I wasn't old enough to remember the beginning of Eli's career. But I'm hoping I'll get to watch DJ have a long HOF career with the Giants
The highlight of the entire season. Dominating the Skins was a ton of fun too. Then the rest of it absolutely fucking sucked until Eli's farewell game. How the fuck did we lose 9 games straight?! Oh right, Shurmur's spineless game management.
I was 8 years old at the start of Elis career, can barely remember it. But you can bet your ass ill remember Danny Dimes start to his career

I think the no fun league found out =/
e: I take it back, you just can't watch in preview mode on reddit
Watching the first half here.
Pretty obvious. Leonard Williams isn't on the team (obviously) and they have Olsen Pierre getting snaps. He's invisible and only Dex is getting pressure on the DL. Leo might be overpaid at this single moment but he's a critical part of the defense.
Offensively, Halapio sucks balls. Vea is a monster but even guys like Beau Allen are disruptive against him.
I don't know why, but I totally forgot that the defense blew this game and we only won because they missed an easy FG. My selective memory chose to remember his game winning TD as being a last second deal.
