[Music] good morning guys it's Kim here welcome back to my Vlog channel it's bright and early in the morning I am about to head off to take the train to go to LA laort Tokyo bay in Chiba so it's the New Year's the 1st of January and I want to go shop for f book so a lot of shopping malls are actually closed on the 1st of January so I had to look up which department stores are open I have been to Tokyo Bay laapa in the past and that was to get the Pokémon fot B girl so I remembered lining up really early in the morning one year and I managed to get the bags I went back the year after and unfortunately I could not get the bag because from that year onwards you had to get to the Pokémon Center at like 5:00 a.m. or earlier to get the bag back so I kind of just gave up on it but now the Pokémon F book R you have to buy online anyway pretty much it's all online now so that's why I'm not really in a rush to get there too early I want to maybe get a clothing for CRA and maybe a pet paradise one so we'll see how it goes I'm going to head off now and meet [Music] Hannah [Music] this is a bit too quiet bag to Vega his bags a nice little coat this one s yes okay let's get one first Booker Booker all done this is like so nice walking around here cuz like it's so quiet I was expecting massive outside same yeah when we got here I was like this is too quiet I feel like there's oh well H has similar yes look chimpin s people Snuffles a a few I feel that's too easy for her yeah H knows how to read pretty well so she needs a harder one that's so cute KFC has one too want to tell you what's inside as well this one has a backpack yeah and this one the smaller one has all that I think I'm okay stuff I wouldn't use no but at least it tells you yeah be oh there's this one that one sold out they've only got the coffee maker left oh they put all the Valentine's Day stuff out already Japan's fast do you and Eric usually do Valentine's Day no me and Eric have cursed Valentine's Day every single year is curs something bad happened so the very first year was when we were both in Japan together and he booked like a fancy hotel and I was at a high school Exchange so I took to Shin s to Tokyo station he said meet me at Tokyo Station didn't say what exit cuz we didn't know it's not a small station no and we got completely lost for like 2 hours and he was running around trying to find me I had my massive suitcase and this is before smartphones were thing I had a like one of those Japanese phones and there was no way for him to contact me and then he eventually found me cuz I was sitting down in a random spot um I went to the stationing guy and I was like I'm just trying to find the exit he's like which one I'm not I don't know so yeah that happened then the year after I tried to be like romantic so I tried to cook food I tried to have a picnic at a beach and it was so windy we couldn't go to the beach we ate in the car and one of the other years I got the flu cuz I was in Hokkaido and I wanted to take cute photos and um I was wearing a skirt then I got the flu um and I had to go to hospital and yeah just so it's always cursed every year something wrong happens so then now we just don't celebrate yeah maybe we might just go to dinner on a different day not on Valentine's cute oh my goodness oh gosh so oh can you imagine putting like roll or H that's going to break in like 2 seconds imately maybe you can come back yeah we'll keep this in mind see what's inside it that is huge but very [Music] risky it's just random stuff right my Pokémon for c c should be arriving tomorrow I wonder if there's anything special inside the Pokémon Center here probably not what's this one though like is it can you open it I know but I guess you could put something in there oh like you can propose or something I don't know oh a god imagine a Pokémon little Pikachu yeah propos it's very soft I think it's for Valentine's Day right is it like it says here oh so this is made of recycled materials so it's economical well I want to get this cuz last time I wanted it but the line was too long there's no line here so I'm going to try this tonight my corn page don't know how it's going to [Music] taste it'll be cute though yeah yeah I tried to hold back buying stuff at the Pokémon Center in case I get in the Pok it'd be funny if I got this in the I doubt it they won't put food in there accessory one and you get 7 to eight there's a PSO like earrings one maybe I want the accessory one yeah I willz my ears get yeah same they're the same yeah I'll get this one oh my God I actually have it here and it heats up to the perfect temperature combines the milk and chocolate is that the same price in the UK 12,000 I think it's cheaper here that back to P oh wow I think it's slightly cheaper here oh interesting oh man oh dude oh know but this is not a cook a book R though this is a [Music] sale M Pierce and earrings we're now done with our FOC claw shopping I managed to get one clothing f c and one accessory the others I wasn't so interested in but I might go back inside and look at some kitchen [Music] ones oh wait no it's over it's until 11: it's 12 now I then I guess you have to get these instead oh got X Benedict yeah I'll just get that I want avocado but I but I don't want Seafood nice X Benedict that looks pretty good hell yeah you had sausag in yeah should be sausage in here just cheese and sausages perfect this is nice it's a plant or I would not keep that alive cuz like it's so much easier to make soups and stuff of it yeah so what would you make uh uh mushroom soup I I used to use it for for baking but the thing is I can't bake right now so you use it for soup butten so probably not probably not worth it no so can you add like different attachments in them to do yeah possibly yeah you can use it to different you B yeah but how often will I use it like not often or would you use it because you've got it no yeah I have to be really interested in it which I mean I am but not really so cute yeah make little pancakes no I won't I won't okay let's go oh the pots are cute oh that's really nice no I want a l i want a window yeah it's kind of creepy Okay bye so I got back home a couple of hours ago actually it's already um dinner time but I was just lying in bed cuz I just needed a quick break because I mean look because it is New Year's the 1 of January today last night night I was up pretty late at Hannah's place last night of course for the countdown and you know we just had like a really chill night but because we did have to wake up really early to get to the shopping mall today cuz it was far away yeah I am just exhausted but I'm so happy that I managed to get the fot book rolls that I wanted so I have opened up the clothing F book roll I just filmed that for my main channel so that will be up hopefully by the time this video is up that video is already up so if it is I'll link it down below I know I haven't really uploaded much on my main channel in 2023 but I promise you guys next this year is going to be different cuz I have so many videos planned I have them already filmed I just have to get them edited which they will be I was planning to upload a series of videos for food to show you guys where to eat in Tokyo I also plan a series on you know things to do in Tokyo but then yeah I just had a time last year getting the edits done so that's why I managed to get some help for this year so hopefully this year on my main Channel and on this channel there will be frequent uploads cuz I felt like for vlogmas I really needed to do it to get videos pushed out because I filmed a lot actually in 2022 when I first moved to Japan and I didn't even upload half of those videos because I was so behind on Vlogs that by the time I was editing them I just felt like there was no point uploading them because those videos were filmed so long ago but it is a bit of a waste because some of them are really fun Vlogs so I think what I'm going to do is this year I'm going to upload of course often on this channel but for filler videos I might upload some stuff that I filmed before but never uploaded like for example I went on on a road trip to Kuro him and I took h on this road trip for her to see snow for the very first time and I thought that was a really cool Vlog but once again because I fell behind I never uploaded that so stuff like that I feel like you guys would enjoy so I will get on to that this year yeah I mean look my New Year's resolution was to wake up early and I did because I had to wake up early anyway to get F book RS but also I want to upload more often and be more consistent on my channel so let's hope I stick to that but anyways I got the clothing FOC book R and then I also got an accessory one so let's open this up together this one was only 500 yen so with the current exchange rate it's like around $3 USD so it's a very cheap for Kook all let's hope that there is going to be some good stuff in here that I can use so let's oh wait is this why why would you staple that and then sticky tape this as well ooh okay oh there's a lot of stuff in here 4500 Yen this is not bad okay first off we got this headband I don't really wear headbands but maybe I should that's it's kind of cute right I feel like if my hair was down it would look way better but you know what maybe I should start wearing headbands cuz I have my hair down quite a lot cuz I'm so lazy to style it next we have a rib with a hair tie I actually have a few of these but not in this color I bought this in a bunch of pastel colors back a few months ago so I feel like this is always a nice touch to your outfit we then got a scrunchie it's two-toned you've got this like organza material I like it it's just a very simple scrunchie that you know can easily use every day can't go wrong with that then I got ooh a head clip a very simple hair clip these two I won't be able to use two pairs of earrings so when you're buying earrings in Japan this is something you have to keep in mind earrings in Japanese or iringo is clipon earrings so in Japan especially if you are like you know in high school and stuff you are not allowed to have your ears pierced compared to you know the Western culture I had my ears pierced when I was like four 5 years old and that's very normal but yeah in Japan when I went to high school for like a little exchange all the girls were like so jealous of all my you know piercings cuz they couldn't get them so because of that they buy earrings so normal earrings I guess for us it's called Pierce or pieru in Japanese so yeah just be careful when buying earrings you want piu which is you know know the normal ones with like for people that have piercings but earrings I just clip on so yeah I mean look I've tried clip on earrings before and they hurt like a so yeah unfortunately I won't be wearing those but I do have some friends that don't have piercing so maybe I can give it to them anyways uh we got a little bracelet and then what's this like a [Music] chain oh silver chain so that is all that is inside the small FOC book roll that's actually pretty good deal like for only 500 yen which is like $3 you get all this stuff so yeah I'm very happy with that I will be using all of the hair accessories I think and the rest of the stuff I might give away so yeah that is all the stuff um I'm going to head out to dinner now though most places are unfortunately closed today because it's the New Year's so I think we just have to go to like a chain restaurant [Music] John try this corn page soup not bad I see you here now actually it's pretty good yeah not bad though I have to say that the corn soup in the vending machines do taste better [Music]
