Wife and I are getting it tonight. We haven't played a New Mario Bros since the Wii version and are excited to play this even if it is a port.

I recommended waiting for a deal for it because i am guessing it will go down in price in the first couple months, but it being one of her favorite games for the wii we are getting it.

Edit: obligatory noticed that I said "wii we." Haha.

I'm not upset I bought a Wii U, I enjoyed this game, Mario Kart, all the other classics. But it's frustrating now that I've retired that system and replaced it with a Switch that Nintendo still wants to charge $60 for the same game (and all the others). (I know, I know. I could still play it on the Wii U. It's more the fact that they're charging that much for what is obviously a ported game)
