**NEW SERIES** $5 Dinners ARE POSSIBLE In 2024 || Fighting Inflation With Recession Proof Meals

[Applause] [Music] hey everybody welcome back you know what's still possible in 2024 even though inflation is crazy right now they're predicting that we're going to be in a recession by summertime $5 dinners it's still possible I swear it's still possible to show you that we can do this we're going to go to Eng Les the most expensive grocery store we have in my area the most expensive and we are going to shop around and cook dinner for my family for around 5 we can do this it's possible I'm going to prove it to you by going to the most expensive grocery store let's go expensive old Engles step one look for sales look for markdowns you can do it it's just Tomatoes today oh I'm looking for all clearances too expensive it is possible I promise it's possible you can you can do it the reason I'm showing that it's possible is because me and Vicki were talking a while back and she was like when you just have to run to the store cuz you don't have anything to eat like it's so easy to spend $30 on one maal and I was like yeah I can see that but I'm challenged man I look so bad I got eyeliner running down my face ignore this y it was raining outside and I look like a heathen anyways I want to show you that you can still do that you can just run to the store but you don't have to spend 20 [Music] bucks yeah I don't think I'm feeling por today I thank you this is a big that looks questionable it's okay keep looking man oh man roast are just expensive anymore that's actually [Music] cont oh I don't know about that oh my [Music] gosh what that short ribs what you [Music] breaking I'm proud of Dusty he found it e looks questionable you don't have to buy two you buy one it's half price maybe this have some sales on sliced [Music] cheese we're going do a side of broccoli cheese no broccoli with cheese sauce is gone I I I panicked for no reason my bad dud this is proof that sometimes you have to redo your whole plan I was looking for bread but the bread is not on sale this week so going to going to start over kind of hear me out hamburger buns for grilled cheese buns are superior to loaf bread but loaf bread will go further we just really enjoy it this way that's after I can't believe I look like that big of a mess and angles where it rained on my face it made my mascara I'm sorry y'all this is real life and it happened sometimes I like to do the OG angle and put it right here makes me feel like getting back to my roots all righty we did it we went to Engles and y'all seen before tax I only spent around $5 and4 cents it's possible even at the expensive grocery store I had to switch up my plan a little bit to make sure I stayed in budget but that's okay that's realistic that's what we have to do sometimes woo we got some bread hamburger buns because listen hear me out I know I could have got a pack of just regular bread but grilled cheese on inside out hamburger buns is superior it is I can't help it it just is and we're just spending money on one meal so I'm okay with it because it it's just Superior if you haven't tried it try it turn them inside out and make your grilled cheats it just hits different so .77 for some hamburger B a little pricey for my blood but I am showing you that it's possible at expensive grocery stores they had their sliced cheeses on sale this week for $128 great stock up price y'all and they freeze fantastic so if you have an angle Supermarket run before the sale goes off it ends Tuesday so we have some of that 10 slices and $1.98 for a giant family size can of tomato soup we're going to just have simple grilled cheeses and tomato soup and it's going to be popping I'm pour in that tomato soup and it says on the back that you can use water or milk I have some half and half so that's what I'm going to use if you don't have milk or half and a half um use water it's totally fine but I'm using half and half cuz that's what's in my refrigerator oh [Music] yeah ooh it smell so good right let's get this simmering warming up it's going to be the delicious especially with some half and half in there yes please creamy tomato sip is the best can't change my mind I have my grle out and I'm just going to rub some butter all around it we're going to make our grilled cheeses on this we're want to turn them inside out this is how you create the absolute best grilled cheeses on the planet rub that butter in each top side this is how I remember what goes to what each top part of the bun gets us lots of cheese I'm just going to flip there's one two three four we got five grilled cheeses seven I forgot six seven eighty there we go Superior grilled cheese this way y'all I'm telling you just trust me [Music] [Music] do [Music] she's sammer and she's looking good and not only is this meal around five bucks it's crazy easy to make just heating us some soup making grilled cheese your family is fed and it's delicious so yeah wi win okay just because I have to it is a grilled cheese we have to do the cheese Factor we have to do a pull we got to see what she look looks like oh yes yes beautiful oh have y'all ever been to Medieval Times Like Myrtle Beach or somewhere they sell a tomato B soup and this smells just like it smells very nice beautiful and here's everybody's plate rer gets two grilled cheeses and some tomato soup Braden gets two grilled cheeses and some tomato soup kylen gets one grilled cheese and some tomato soup I get one grilled cheese tomato soup Dusty two and some tomato soup Colin and I will get one cuz we can only handle one before anybody El here is dinner for $54 let me know how was dinner dinner how do we like it is it gross is good M it's so good very good ta How do we feel you look like you grew up you look like a big boy right now I don't know why stop it good dinner we good mhm d a good dinner mhm o let's do some up close on that tomato soup with the half and half yeah is this not just it it is is it good bre see it's entirely possible to not have anything to cook for dinner and you have to go to the store to not spend a ton of money you can just spend around five bucks and have dinner for everybody I promise even though inflation is insane saying the supposed recession is coming what we make now on our paychecks doesn't feel the same as it did a year ago two years ago it's okay you can still make it I promise that's why I'm here to give you ideas and I encourage you next time you feel like you have to run out to the store and get something for dinner try to look around for all the sales anything clearance and try to come up with a meal that
