This small travel trailer behind me is the
Winnebago Hike 100 FLX. Today, I am going to give you a full tour
inside and out of this small camper. This video is sponsored by Truma. Now, this small camper has a
gross weight rating of 4,200 pounds. It's just under 16 feet long and 10 feet tall. It has this exoskeleton that goes around it you can use for mounting different accessories, and up on the roof, it is fully walkable. The Hike, it does have independent suspension, so you could take this off-road
in any of your adventures. For your adventures, there is a gear box
on the side for storage, outdoor shower. This compartment is where your
cassette toilet is stored. And now, I'm gonna go up to the walkable roof
and show you around up there. There is a 200-watt solar panel, as well as that exoskeleton that
comes up here as well for storing accessories. Along with the 200 watts of solar on the roof, there is a plug for an external solar panel
if you want more or if you wanna park this in the shade
and throw your solar out in the sun. Here are the switches for the electric jack stands,
as well as your 30-amp plug and campground cable. Now, in this particular model of the Hike, there are these barn doors that open,
so you have a garage area. There's a gear rack on this door, a folding table that actually stows inside,
and you can pull that out when you get to camp. And on this side, there's a folding table. This also has a brush guard as well
as a two-inch accessory receiver. Not only does the Hike have a Dometic awning, but there is a Batwing awning that goes on it as well. Coming along to the driver's side. There is an external propane hookup
as well as another exterior gear box. Now, this one has the flip-down
so you can use it as an outdoor kitchen. The Hike also comes with a portable
induction stove top, so if you wanted to cook outside, you can. But enough with the outside - let's go inside
and check this thing out. So here we are. This currently has the bed down for sleeping
so you can get an idea of what this looks like. The bed is fairly large. There's windows - both head and foot. Let me put the bed up and then I can
show you the garage area. Now, this bed is manual.
There is no electric up, but it's fairly easy to put up.
Lift this side on the backside. I'm gonna kind of put my shoulder into it, and there it is. Now, I'm 5'11 and I can't stand up in here, but you kind of get the idea. There are these two benches. You can use these for sitting and hanging out. You can sleep this way, or this middle part actually folds to make a large bed. Now, if you really need to use this as a gear hauler, both of these do fold up and out of the way, and there are tie-down points so you can tie down all of your stuff. So let's talk about some of the features
you can't necessarily see. It has a Truma VarioHeat which is the heater
that runs off of propane, as well as the Truma AquaGo
which is a tankless water heater. This also has a Truma Aventa AC unit,
which is able to run off of the battery system. The battery is a 320-amp hour lithium-ion battery along with a 3,000-watt pure sine inverter, which means not only can you
run your AC when you're off-grid, you can also power the outlets. So there are two 120 outlets here
along with USB chargers as well as on the other side of the garage area. Now, coming into the galley area, there is storage down here. The battery system and cutoff
are actually down in this area. There is a good-sized closet, the wet bath, which I will show you in a minute, and then your kitchen area. So we've got a small sink, storage under the sink. Here's the control panel. There is a small cabinet, microwave, extra counter space, and a refrigerator with a small freezer. The interior height in this section is
6'5 from floor to ceiling, and I am 5'11 to give you some idea
of the height of the ceiling. Above me, there is an exhaust vent, and then in here is the wet bath. In the wet bath, there is a skylight. You have shelves for wet gear when you need it
to dry out, but those shelves are removable. There is a cassette toilet with a 4.75-gallon capacity, and this top does turn. There's your shower pan, and then a small sink and the shower wand. Now, this shower does have the Shower Miser system which recycles your water. Now, in terms of water, there is a
31-gallon freshwater tank and a 25-gallon gray water tank. Now, as of filming this video, the Hike 100 FLX
is not in production yet, so I don't have any solid figures for you
in terms of price, but what I would love to know in the
comments section below is how would you use this? Maybe as a base camp to go skiing, hiking,
fishing - whatever. Let me know. But that is it for this video. Thank you so much for watching.
