hi big tractor power fans I'm at the 2024 National farm machinery show in Louisville Kentucky and we're going to take a look at what is new from New Holland and the First new product is Smart Tracks new version of Smart Tracks on the t9s we're going to visit with Ken and talk about the updates that are coming uh for the T9 series of tractors yeah yeah good so what we have here at the show today uh is our reveal of the new T9 Smart Tracks uh brand new new track system coming out for uh for the next model year coming up uh availability will be Q4 production uh dealers should have all the material available to them this Summer to start talking to you about uh different programs pricing uh features Etc uh so we can get some orders uh from everyone so as far as the track system itself uh we've got five different models uh 600 um uh 475 course all the way up to 64 5 horse we've got power shift CVT transmissions available uh as far as the track system I really kind of it really boils down to about three different categories for me one being performance the other comfort and the last thing just you know peace of mind for the operator right for the owner uh if we talk about performance the thing uh the track system itself uh is available in 30 and 36 in widths so depending on your application a lot of versatility to fit you in exactly what you need we do have three different track suppliers that we're using now so we used to only have one uh we're going to three uh we're also uh our top speed our uh R to speed Road speed uh went up to 25 M hour now so it it's capable of keeping up with the combine going from from field to field uh the fuel capacity has also been increased from 310 gallons to 455 so almost uh a 50% Improvement on that uh as far as uh Comfort I talked about Comfort uh two things on that respect is we've got a um a suspension system uh on this new track system uh We've also got a swinging or articulating ladder so as that uh tractor will turn as you can see kind of in in the position right now that ladder will actually articulate staying in line with the entry or exit of that cab making it very easy for the operator to either get in or get out of the cab and it's actually angled out a little bit further uh again making just a lot safer to get in and out of the cab it makes a nice I always judge a tractor by being able to carry a GoPro and a camera and other stuff up there I'm filming so it it looks like it's nice and easy to to climb up and definitely looks like it's a very tight turning tractor too the at the pivot point there uh it is you know once we get that ladder out of the way uh the turning radius on this is uh bar none you know Superior out there so uh the last thing I you know I mentioned was peace of mind right you know for the operator uh a few things on that you know going back to the track belts itself um all the track belts come with a 4-year warranty there are some uh tracks that we do offer that go up to 5 years uh so just be aware of that that's that's very helpful that's a very common question people ask how long do tracks last on the tractor versus tires absolutely absolutely so uh the other thing are the roller Wheels uh couple things are the roller wheels and the rear idler in the back they're actually a kind of a bolon type system so if these would ever need to get replaced it's very uh cost effective and quick for one of our New Holland dealers to replace any of the wheels or uh the rear idler on it uh you can also see that on each one of the the roller wheels and idlers across we've got these clear hub caps makes it very easy uh to you know for maintenance purposes and really the last thing I want to talk about when it comes to peace of mind and it's really the exclusive uh feature that we've got is a self uh tensioning track system so it's uh basically a cylinder that's always going to keep the tension on the Belt uh very tght around the wheels the drive wheel included that way you don't have a lot of that back and forth play uh other manufacturers have that system but there's this manual so the owner the operator they're going to have to remember to check that ever so often whatever the hour intervals are for New Holland purely automatic customer doesn't have to remember to do a darn thing well very handy feature cuz it's especially during a busy time whether it's planning or tillage right green carding it's might not think about it until it presents itself so it's good that it's automatic so also on these tractors um you have the autoc command feature so some of them are available with a CVT transmission right right so uh with the autoc command CVT transmission out of the five models that we've got the bottom three are available in that that transmission option uh all five are available obviously in the in the powers shift uh transmission well I'm looking forward to seeing these out in the field so we'll start seeing them very late 2024 correct definitely in 2025 yeah definitely another new product from New Holland here at the show is the cr11 this is a monster combine that has a lot of people talking and we're going to visit with Curtis about the performance and capabilities of this allnew twin rotor combine yeah absolutely welcome to the show we're here at the first morning of national farm machinery show uh and like you said we're this is the the North America debut of the New Holland cr1 twin rotor combine um this this combine was first revealed last November at AGR Technica you might recall the pictures of the big big gold colored combine because it was the gold Gold Medal winner there at AGR Technica it was definitely a very cool look for that absolutely it showed really well and so we're excited to have it here today and and to continue throughout this year uh with our North America Tour to show it off cuz we've got a lot a lot of stuff to be excited about here um so starting with the with the the threshing system you know New Holland has a 50-year Heritage it's part of our DNA to have the twin rotor combine and that continues here um we've we've taken those rotors we've made them bigger in diameter so they're now 24 in rotors um and we've also made them longer so we've got a lot more threshing and separation capability than than than what we even our our world record holding cr10.90 today um we've also got a new cleaning system underneath there we call it our twin Clean cleaning system um which gives us up to 50% more uh capacity and it's also got a new a new uh kind of an upgraded version of the automation where it has automatic cross distribution control um which gives us the ability to to compensate for changes in in crop flow and that sort of a thing to make sure that we're always keeping that cleaning system uniformly loaded for Peak Performance we've got a new grain handling system to go along with that threshing and cleaning area so we've got uh 567 bushel capacity in the grain tank up to 6 Bush a second on load rate so this new combine has a has a a redesigned unload system with up to 6 push a second unload rate and uh if you look at that spout above me it's it's huge um and we do have the we continue to have the pivoting spout feature that that uh that New Holland has patented which gives you both the the in andout control as well as the the patented uh anti- dribble feature that's that's part of that system it looks impressive it's kind of hard to take it in but that's U that probably holds us much much grain is a combine would have 80 years ago yeah yeah I can climb up inside that thing with with relative ease so it's big and we've got a new residue system out back because we recognize that next year's crop Harvest or crop season starts with this year's Harvest so it's a totally redesigned uh Chopper and spreader system uh to improve Chopper efficiency and performance and also give us a a an even better spread SP spread width and distribution so we can spread over 60 ft um in a nice uniform way and we've added automation to our spreader system we call it intella spread we've added Radars to each side of the of the machine that are looking at that spread material and can see how far it's actually traveling um and then compensate as needed for for Crosswinds or changes in crop condition to make sure you're always getting that perfect spread and for a few of the the customers exposure customers we were able to run with last year um that was one of the things they always commented on was was how impressed they were with that that intelligent intell a spread system that you know they didn't even didn't even have to think about the spreading and they finish the field and and look back and realize hey we've done a really nice job of spreading here that's very very helpful especially if you're doing double crops or no till spread out there when you're running critical 50ft heads like the one shown here or 16 rad horn heads it's a lot of residue exactly running through the machine exactly so we've got a 775 horsepower engine up top which helps support that capacity Target that productivity Target and then we also recognize that having a bigger combine doesn't and and and being more productive doesn't mean you can just accept more losses in fact we've gone the other way uh the New Holland combine today has a really good reputation of saving grain and producing a nice really nice premium sample and we continue that here in fact we're driving that that loss Target down as close to zero as we can which which contributes to the total cost of harvesting you know saves that hidden cost of lost grain um so we're really excited about that I've always found just walking around on the field as I film a twin rotor that they're really especially in corn you don't see a lot of of grain out there at all so yep looking forward to seeing what this can do in the field absolutely we'll take that we'll take that even to the next level there and then another point I want to make is uptime um you know as as harvest Windows get shorter and everybody's trying to trying to get more done in less time and with less resources uh We've we've redesigned the drive line on this machine which has uh significantly reduced the number of belts we've uh totally eliminated Drive chains so you don't have that as a maintenance item anymore and we now have CBT rotor and feeder drives which give us uh the capability of an auto deug feature so in that uh circumstance where you push a little too hard or you you hit a lot of of green stuff and actually actually plug the machine now you can run this automatic dlug feature which will will automatically reverse the rotor and the dynamic feed roll and the feeder while the other systems run to uh to clean that that machine out without even having to leave the cab so we're really excited about what what that means for our customers as well and then uh the combine here is set up on du but you can have different tire options tracks yeah correct you'll see some new tire offerings coming we've got tracks New Holland uh in in for model year 23 we we released the the 36in suspended track even on our current model lineup um that's a really impressive track if you haven't seen that yet you should check it out uh it's a super smooth ride both on the on the road and in the field gives you good flotation nice stability so we'll have a similar offering on this machine as well so there in addition to the 1 one scale combine over here uh there's actually a model here uh from Lego That's potentially going to be a toy that's right uh yeah we've got this this prototype Lego cr11 kit we're really excited right now this is the only one that exists in the world um but they're they're taking votes at ideas. lego.com to we need to gather 10,000 votes and if we get to 10,000 votes then they'll look at making it into a production kit so we need your help go to ideas. lego.com look for the cr11 New Holland combine put your vote in there and help us hit that 10,000 vote goal well it has my vote and uh there's also a scan to vote and that you can hold your phone up to the screen here and make a quick boat and uh it would be great to see more agriculture from Legos and the cr11 is a great place to start thank you so Nick uh in the fall at the farm progress show you had a demonstration where there was a driverless tractor unloading on the go with a CR combine and autonomy is coming to farm equipment and that's what you're working on which is a big help when you're running a monster combine like the cr1 you're going to keep grain carts going and it's good to keep everything on track absolutely so what what kind of technology is going to make this more autonomous so the grein card automation systems is on our Pathway to autonomy currently we do have the Omni drive system that is part of the Raven card automation as well however the only difference is you do have to have a combine driver and a tractor driver however once the combine driver accesses the tractor driver's machine it puts it over into automatic mode then you have autonomy until the point of the unload finishing well that's very handy cuz I know a lot of times the grain cart operator pulls a little forward or starts to leave to fast and then you have grain on the ground so the combine's kind of running the show everything's in sink right right so this takes out the operator error and you can really reduce your input cost by having someone that's been running a grain card for you know an upwards of five or six years you can have them in the combine or if you have a very inexperienced driver you can basically get them up to speed within a day and make have them operating safely and efficiently like a pro within just a couple hours while you as the combine operator control all of the important parts of the procedure whether that be pulling too close to the header pulling too far back back controlling your flow back and forth that way you reduce spillage and you reduce stress for both operators and it's just as easy as hitting and control in the cab and away it goes yeah so if you're within 200 ft you have up to six tractors you can choose from the combine operator will select one of the six tractors and call it over to their position once you're within that 200 ft and within your AV line control area you select the ab line the tractor operator hits accept the combine operator hits except and then the combine operator then assumes control over the grain cart and that grain cart will Center itself automatically with the auger and as the tract or as the combine speeds up and slows down or moves left or moves right it will mirror that image with the combine operator with no inputs from the driver at all very impressive we're going to visit with Noah from New Holland about the New Holland Pro Bel core 50 which has a new bold look in Striking yellow and it's also celebrating years of round bailing technology uh from New Holland Noah a great looking Balor really excited about learning more about this uh this machine yeah absolutely thanks for stopping by the booth today uh here behind me is the New Holland Pro belt 450 premium round Bor uh so this was new for New Holland in 2023 and going forward starting in 2025 you'll start seeing the transition to uh yellow uh machines for all of our commercial hey tool products uh some of those products have already started to be transitioned such as the large Square boiler and the speed rollers um so 2025 you'll start seeing the the pro belt premium series round balers in that same category with the Commercial Series going all yellow um this machine right here in particular like I said it's the heavy duty uh premium option so it is much heavier uh much more durable than uh the other machines um it is uh has heavier bearings uh heavier chains larger sprockets um heavier gearbox it's got a 200 horsepower gearbox on the front of it it is ISO bus only uh but don't worry about that if you've got a older tractor that you still like bailing hay with but want to operate a pro Bel premium round Balor uh we can still get you just a ISO buus compatible Monitor and have no problem running it with that so and and like it was alluded to before this is uh 20 24 is our 50th year of producing real balers so lots of Heritage with that and uh excited for uh hopefully the next 50 years well they've come a long way from the the chain drive and now with all the Hydraulics and Technology what size bail does a 450 produce so 450s generally produce a 4x5 bail uh our numbering is uh you know it has a meaning to it uh this machine actually though is a 4x5 and a half so it's a slightly larger chamber one is so that if you did wanted to make a uh larger bail you can but it also provides a little bit of uh space there so if you don't get the tractor stopped on time and throw some more hay into it it's not stretching uh the machine out stretching the belts and bearings and things like that it doesn't put as much stress on it well it looks like it's designed to be heavy duty machine that the pickup looks um very impressive as well as the larger flotation wheels down here and uh definitely a impressive bailing technology yeah so uh with the pickup it is a standard uh five bar pickup for all of our uh silage capable machines you'll find that um they are rubber mounted tines and the new for I guess it was started in July um all of our bailers come with a 3-year 22,000 bail warranty on the pickup um all of our Solage machines are also going to be found with endless belts the endless belts come with a 3-year 15,000 belt warranty as well and a 2-year bumper-to-bumper warranty to to help cover anything that uh should arise and uh keep you covered out there for a little bit longer and give you some more peace of mind New Holland has 50 years in bailing technology and it's all about Improvement and today technology makes things so much easier and so much more efficient uh what can you tell me about the intell Bell automation yeah so the intella Bell is coined by New Holland um this is our in uh Bor automation so essentially the way it works is once the bail reaches the full size whatever you have it set at once it reaches the the capacity uh it will signal to the Tractor to stop the tractor will stop the net wrap will initiate uh cut and as soon as all that's done it will automatically open the tailgate eject the bail and close the tailgate all on its own uh you just press a forward button on the handle to to toggle forward to continue bailing um there are some requirements to this so this machine is ISO bus only the pro belt um but as long as you get any of our roll belt bailers ordered with ISO bus they have the capability of this now the other trick to it is the tractor attached cannot be just any tractor it does have to be a cnh tractor with specific transmission and unlocks um but as years go on uh those tractors are becoming a little more uh readily available with with certain things from Factory um so cnh tractor uh is required for this operation um but out there working in the field it surely gives the uh operator a lot of ease and uh much less fatigue at the end of the day definitely I think about the very early days some some of the bailers had a bell on it to let you know it then you're always watching that indicator going up and down so it's that's right it's pretty nice to have that pece of mind that it's just going to do its thing and correct you you can be sitting in the tractor and we've all gotten a phone call while we're bailing and the alarm goes off and we forgot to stop and then plugged it up or something cuz there just wasn't any more room for hate now uh you don't have to worry about that it's going to stop itself and uh you can carry on with your business on the phone and uh or whatever else and uh be good to go well thank you for the information on this and I'm really looking forward to uh getting to see one of these in action absolutely thanks for stopping
