couple severed hands a sloth riding a unicorn and some petals that you're going to want to know about i also have a one of my child's apple pineapple packs i'm going to eat because i need a pineapple and they're the most amazing and i i love them the best go ahead how big is your yard because king gizzard records are pretty long right my yard is very big okay i've been to your house i know how big it is it's very big that takes a long time it does take a long time it's kind of a nice like alone like i get to kind of like think about stuff the best part of mowing the lawn is listening to records yeah like some of my favorite early records as a teenager like i still hear them and think about a lot yeah like i smell grass yeah totally ironically one of those is the weezer green album um and i like it because it was like the perfect timing for the backyard and i would listen to it it's like weird like it's burned into my soul yeah there's like certain albums where you know like this is i'll i'll kind of wrap this up by the time the front's done and then you know king gizzard though that's a whole yard like that's the whole yard pretty much so yeah cool they got me through joshua how are really nice display it was in like a snooty area there was like some things around it and i was like i don't know i go in and like the first pin i saw was a hundred and forty dollars and i had signs just like do not touch the pins and i'd like and my sons with me and he can be oblivious like in a sweet way right right right and i was like let's leave and i just backed up yeah but they were beautiful i don't know what they were i forgot the name but there's something like really really inspiring about just like a fresh fresh pen you know what i mean like just the possibilities yeah are endless there's one of these i forgot wrote a ring a rope ring or something like that it's all aluminum and it's fifty dollars wow so i'm probably going to sell a pedal so that i can buy it wow sell a pedal buy a pen i like that okay well that was our um segment that we like to call pen top pen talk pen talk we need a camera talk camera talk camera jokes connection also drillers over there on the switch are just knocking him out of the parks he's doing it everybody knows he's doing really well he told me we should probably add a switcher cam at some point you're you're doing really well right on one side the rotten apple is kind of a thing he's made for a while this is one of the best looking keely pedals i've seen it's awesome it's pretty great it's a big muff style thing we should jam yeah i'm going to go ahead and talk about two other things i'll just show what i do is i start jamming and i turn stuff on i haven't talked about and that's okay that's because this is our show we'll get to it okay sometimes i feel bad because i want no need i want the pedals to know that i i respect each one right i think that's the pedal probably an important thing to keep in mind is that we have already dedicated like 15 minutes to talking about pens so i think just like all respect for petals is kind of immediately out the door okay so i wouldn't feel too bad um no one asked and no one cares i'm drinking a waterloo lemon lime oh i'm drinking a water loom black cherry cool when do we start getting waterloo's around here i don't know i'm not a huge fan but i like them oh nice this i have to comment i was turning these knobs earlier they're flat black they're matte it is a it's a beautiful petal again this is robert that's a good looking petal so the filter gives you flat bumped you don't own it you're you're lying to yourself you don't really like them that's a good one very good one nice and looks are everything sometimes and it looks good looks are everything sometimes write that down all right interstellar audio machines octonaut hyperdrive nick what sorry that's all right they want us to write a comic with them oh really yeah i was telling them about our elon musk octonaut hyperdrive uh it's 329 but apparently it's on sell for 199. it is a clone topology each octanon hyperdrive features germanium diodes tested rigorously might i add for optimum tone so these are probably matched voltage drops on that that's a nice attention testing germaniums is what is work it is work it is work so the gain pot blends in the clean just like a clone um and you have selectable true bypass and buffered operation i played with it earlier it sounds really great this is a really fantastic option for everyone waiting on a ktr um and they're they're currently a thousand dollars and it's ridiculous so people are making really good stuff and it has an octopus with a space helmet on it so it's like i think that's the way to go that's how i remember definitely my mic is so loud that's why i remembered because i looked there's a octopus with the space helmet i thought the guy that we love whose name just left my mind not rl stein oh hp love yeah hp lovecraft everything he makes like a week or two after they come out this is 179. uh it's two independent delay settings that can be set rotated between with this switch it has a blizzard mode basically uh it island pedal the gaia instead of recycling the same k style circuit over and over we wanted to turn a new leaf with our take on it our focus when designing this pedal is to give you earthy mids you crave while preserving original tone um okay so the cool thing is that they've split the gain knob and the clean knob here so you have a clean blend which is gonna be amazing there's a couple different uh clipping options here and then what's the last um oh you have a diode selector and a clipping mode what is a gaia what is that referring i don't i'm not sure actually there's a turtle on here i'm looking at joshua through like seven cameras i like see turtle spirit it's the earth oh yeah that's the earth earthy mid-range and what and what can't like explain it like okay so philosophical is it like meta is it is a greek term okay for earth but it's used widely in the spirituality movement currently to talk about to talk about um the way we're relating to the earth so it's kind of a like holistic approach to living life in relationship with the world in which we live nice is that why you got a tree on your desk that's indeed that's also why i'm assuming there's a turtle on the pedal because it's turtles all the way down oh dang i've been saying that oh i've seen that that's like the there's like a flat earth diagram with like the turtle under it yeah yeah yeah yes there's also that one scene in avatar the last airbender where he talks to the great turtle spirit or whatever it's the lion turtle the lion turtles yeah i freaking love that i like this i got very very cool lantern manufacturing is with us and wanted to say two of the four pt two three nine nines have the inverted lfo signal two set to longer delay times to set the shorter delay times all different times and the bend knob controls the longer ones bend i thought it said blend this makes so much more sense well like i was intuitively like i figured it out as we're jamming so i literally really don't know any when we do these like yeah they're pretty new i'll play throughout a sound check but i in my head just in the glance and like in the hurry we were in i said oh it's a blend though because of modulation bend that's why so this is like the bend on the lower setting [Music] that alone is a that is really cool [Music] that almost has like an old beatles vibe like you could pull off some of that [Music] like the tape sounds and then up a little bit on the bin [Music] that's really cool then you're basically you hear a delayed with a delay with heavily modified modulated repeat [Music] you can do it a delay with heavily modulated repeats [Music] whoa all the knobs up [Music] yeah that is squishy i say i'm a big fan here we've shown all three of these releases you didn't show the flowers that came in the box but that's fine i will i will look at the brand wow pretty they're so nice let's forget how a pedal sounds let's forget let's forget that it's 130 120. pedal basically um he asked jesse from root tech to build it and here we are today with the aquabats the falcon drive by root tech volume tone gain and blend um do i get it do i get like a cool still don't know who land is we've been through this there's an episode where we tried to uncover the dirty truth of it but nobody knows um i bought this and it is an auto swell in a sink oh my god okay it's sorry it's it's an auto swell in a single pedal like on the dl4 oh cool why has no one done this i've wanted to do this but i always get distracted with other things and this is so beautiful
