NEW! 2023 COZY SUMMER FARMHOUSE KITCHEN DECORATE WITH ME│ FOURTH OF JULY DECOR IDEAS│PATRIOTIC DECOR

foreign [Music] hi it's Sarah thank you so much for joining me today today I am so excited because I'm going to be decorating here in my kitchen for July 4th I'm going to be adding in a lot of patriotic Decor Americana decor and just make it nice and cozy and perfect for the rest of summer in May I always decorate with lemons and yellow and then when Stone hits I start bringing out my Americana decor to decorate for the rest of summer so this is what my kitchen looks like right now with all my lemon Decor up and although I love it I'm excited to decorate for my favorite holiday it's July 4th before I started decorating I wanted to share something new that I added in here in my kitchen and then also a little DIY that my husband and I did you can see right there above the window we have that burlap of Valance and I decided to switch it out for a nice white one to brighten up the space a little more I found this white burlap balance on Amazon it is nice and lightweight and perfect for summer time I did purchase this myself but I just wanted to share this in case anyone is looking for something like this as well I just love the texture of this and as you can see it is a very lightweight like I said and some light does show through so I love that so let's put it up and see what it looks like [Music] thank you [Music] all right so this is what it looks like now that it is up and I just love it I think it brightens up the space so much and it is just perfect for up here in this window so we did a little beadboard accent while in my dining room and we had some extra bead board so I asked my husband if he would put some below our kitchen island I am so in love with how it turned out I will share with you in the end how it looks when it is all complete overall this was a pretty cheap and easy a DIY the hardest part was just measuring everything right and cutting out some slots so it fits perfect right there under the kitchen island [Music] he used some liquid nails to place it on the island and then he put a few Nails in it using his nail gun to make sure it is a little more secure then he just went through and caulked everything and then we got to the fun part of painting it I just wanted to stick to White I know I could have done an accent color or something like that but for now I just wanted to keep it nice and bright and I used the same light that we used to paint our cabinets with we ended up doing just a few coats of paint and then we were done I am so happy with how it turned out stay tuned until the end like I said so you can see how it looks so this is what my kitchen looks like right now with all my lemon Decor taken down I'm so excited to decorate here in my kitchen my kitchen is really the heart of our home we really spend so much time in here and I just love decorating it up for every holiday and season it just makes it so fun I laid out all the pieces that I am planning on using to decorate here in my kitchen with I wanted just to lay everything out so I can see what I have and get an idea where I want to place everything at so this is everything that I'm planning on using to decorate my kitchen with there are a few new things here and then some I've had for a while but I did make a separate video about all the new things that I picked up this year to decorate with so I will link that video start over here on this wall and these two wire baskets that I have hanging up they're both from Amazon and then also that hanging rack underneath is also from Amazon I always love decorating the space up so much it is the first space you see when you walk into my kitchen so I really love to go all out and just make it look cute and I'm excited to decorate it I kept up that wood a cutting board I have there in the back and then I added in this artificial potted plant that I found at Belle's Outlet then I have that Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook that I found on Amazon and I just placed it right in the middle over here in this corner I'm going to take this little white ceramic jar that I have and then I'm going to add in these mini Ray done utensils that I found at Hobby Lobby last spring [Music] down here on that second shell we have that mini wood cutting board and then I'm taking two of these Navy ceramic bowls that I found at Dollar Tree and just placing them over in this corner this is a little DIY that I did last summer that is a terracotta pot and just the saucer that is the lid and I just painted it red put some stripes and stars on it and then I used a little knob that I painted white and then I just glued it to the top of the lid and I just think it turned out so cute and it was a super easy DIY and I love it on this rack I'm going to be keeping everything the same I'm just going to be adding this red white and blue plaid dish towel that I found at TJ Maxx to add in a little color [Music] I found this little Hyacinth caddy at Dollar General and I just thought it was so cute and we'd be perfect to decorate with for July 4th so I'm just taking and placing it down here and then I'm just going to add some of these a plastic red utensils just right inside I just love the little touch of color it brings down here and I really think it just screams summer [Music] thank you [Music] I decided to bring it back out my chicken wire shelf and this chicken wire shelf is not from Hobby Lobby it is actually from Amazon it is a little lighter weight and a little smaller so it is perfect for the space here on my counter this Farm Fresh Bakery sign was from Walmart last year it is Pioneer Woman and it had some flowers on it but I took those off and I just love the way it looks up here on this shelf for Mother's Day my husband bought me this ceramic diffuser from Amazon I've never owned one before and I really wanted one so I was super happy to get this so far I am really happy with it so I will link it down below if you guys want to check out the one that I got I placed a little a flameless candle over in that corner to bring a little coziness to this area and then I found this little red ceramic truck at Hobby Lobby last year and I think it is the cutest so I'm just taking this and placing it right next to the candle [Music] thank you [Music] I wanted to add a little Greenery in so I'm taking this little artificial plant that I found at Target last year and just placed it right next to the diffuser and the last thing I'm going to add to this top is this little red fabric star that has a little stick on it that you place on this little stand I found this on Amazon it came with four of them in different sizes and I thought they were so cute I'm just taking it and placing over here in this corner I love the red that it brings over here another thing I love about this chicken wire shelf is that it has no dividers so it just makes it so much easier to decorate here inside of it and I feel like I have more space to decorate this white butter dish I found on Amazon a little while ago and I'm just placing it right in the middle here on this bottom shelf [Music] thank you at Home Depot last year I found these little white Planters and I thought they were so adorable and would work perfect here in my kitchen so I'm just taking these and stacking them up over here in this corner I found this red white and blessed mug at Dollar General just a little bit ago it was a three dollars and for the price I think it is a great deal and I think it is really cute so I'm just placing it next to the butter dish I also picked up this one in navy blue that says home sweet home with little stars on it and again I just love this and I'm just placing it on this other side this little white creamer picture I found at Target last Valentine's Day it has that little heart on top and the little heart right in front I just think it is so cute [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you up here on this little hook on my kitchen cabin I added in this red waffle dish towel and then just placing a simple cutting board on top of it [Music] the last thing I'm going to add to this is this little popsicle of parlor hanging sign that I found at Hobby Lobby foreign over here in this corner I'm taking this tray this is part of a tiered tray I just took it apart and I'm just using the bottom half this blue jar is from a Dollar General I'm just placing it over in the corner and I'm going to add some white artificial roses that I found at Dollar General as well [Music] please [Music] [Music] foreign I'm going to take this red berry basket that I found at Dollar General and then I have some of these artificial strawberries that I found on Amazon and I'm going to place them inside [Music] I took a few pieces of paper towel and just folded them up and I'm just placing them in aside the basket to fill it up a little because I do not have enough strawberries to fill up the whole thing so it just fills it up a little and it ends up working out perfect [Music] thank you oh my goodness I think this turned out so cute it is so festive and it really is perfect for summer [Music] then the last thing I'm going to add on this tray is this little lamp and I found this on Amazon I'm just placing it right on top I love using this lamp in the corner of my kitchen it just makes my whole kitchen feel a little more Cozier [Music] thank you [Music] over here in this corner I am adding back in this wood Riser and then I'm going to take my magnolia table cookbook and just slide it right there over in the corner [Music] thank you here's the word towel ladder I found on Amazon and I'm just taking it and placing this simple red stripe towel right over the top of it [Music] I found this white ceramic utensil Croc at Hobby Lobby about a year ago and I'm just taking to this and placing it right on top of the wood Riser and then I'm just going to add in some of these wooden utensils that I have right inside [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] I found this July 4th flip sign at Hobby Lobby this year they also had one in red and I did pick up both of them I just think they are so cute so I'm just taking this one and adding it right here down on the bottom I wanted to add in a little Greenery right here so I'm taking this green candle wreath ring that I found on Amazon and I'm just placing it right on top of the ladder I found this white simple ceramic spoon rest on Amazon I just love the look of this I'm just taking it and adding it to the top of my stove [Music] oh [Music] this 18 inch Berry wreath with stars on it I found on Amazon I'm just going to place it up here on my pantry door to add a little color over here [Music] down here on this rack on my kitchen island I'm just going to take another red dish towel and just add it right here to bring in a little color [Music] thank you and then we have this cute little wooden cutting board that has a little star on it and I found this a Hobby Lobby and I'm just going to place it right next to the dish towel this blue Let Freedom Ring sign was from Hobby Lobby as well and I'm just going to take it and place it right over The Cutting Board [Music] this little mini wood cutting board I found at Hobby Lobby and I'm just going to take it and place it right here on this hook then the last thing I'm going to add is this little American flag I'm just going to stick it right here in this artificial plant right here in this hanging basket [Music] foreign [Music] I'm just going to take this white wicker basket and I found this at a Dollar General a few months ago and then we have this a beautiful ceramic white picture that I found on Amazon a few months ago and then we have these two rustic looking American flags that I found at TJ Maxx and I just love the look of these and how rustic looking they are with those little sticks as poles so I'm just going to place them in aside the picture oh then I'm going to take this green artificial plant that I found at Belle's Outlet a few months ago and just place it right next to the picture to bring a little green over here in this corner and then I found this candle at Dollar General a few days ago and it was six dollars and I'm just placing it next to the plant I have this red striped placemat with a little Finch on the bottom that I found at Dollar General and I'm going to use it as a napkin I'm going to fold it up a little and place it down in the bottom to add in a little texture and color [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] the last thing I'm going to add on this tray is this USA mug that I found at Hobby Lobby I loved the way this looked so I picked it up I'm just going to take it and add it right on top of the napkin [Music] I just love how this little vignette turned out here on the kitchen island I think it was so festive oh my goodness I just love it let me know down below what you think [Music] now I am just going to do a little place setting using these beautiful charger plates that I found at Hobby Lobby during Easter I love the scalloped edges on these so much I think they're so beautiful the only thing I do wish is that I picked up more of these when I had the chance foreign I picked up some of these red Pioneer Woman red plates at Walmart I just love the look of these and again the edges are just so pretty I'm just going to place them right on top of the charger plate [Music] I'm going to use this navy plaid napkin and then also this natural beaded napkin ring I'm just going to place it right on top of these plates and I just love how these turned out [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] over here on my table I'm taking this white fringe table runner again I love using this and I'm just placing it right in the center [Music] I decided to take another one of these a striped red placemats and just place it right in the middle I'm just going to layer it a little and then I take this a big glass face that I have that I love so much and I found this at Hobby Lobby and I'm just placing it right in the middle I found these big long 43 inch Greenery stems on Amazon and I'm just going to take them and place them right inside this face [Music] thank you [Music] I decided I wanted to add a little more texture and color over here and so I'm doing another layer and adding in this natural beige Hyacinth a placemat that I found at Walmart and then I'm just taking the face and placing it right on top again I just love how this turned out with the different colors and layers and textures I just think it is so beautiful [Music] all right now I'm done decorating at my kitchen for July 4th and now we are going to take one last look at everything and now that I'm done [Music] foreign [Music] don't worry about the cold just yet thank you the trees haven't started to shed I feel the Summer Sun as it warms I've been [Music] up and I'm [Music] saying afraid [Music] but I'm trying to sheltered [Music] from the pain [Music] the seasons come and they go but I hope you know that I I want foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] so this is what that bead board looks like under my kitchen island and I am so happy with it I know it is not a huge difference but that is exactly what I wanted I just wanted something nice and simple that makes my kitchen look and feel a little more custom [Music]
