Never thought this would be my pick! Trimmer Choice, Maintenance , Driveway Freshen Up

do you know you're supposed to grease your weed eater every once in a while I think some people may not know that all you do take this out right here take your Super Lube and then what's nice threads right in here give a little squirt while you're turning and you are good to go for another year or so [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] so welcome back to outdoors with the Morgans I just got all the grass cut here at our place and down at my mom's and I want to start this video off with this I am an internal combustion engine kind of guy okay just want to be clear on that however this is now my go-to when it comes to weed eating this is the combi the steel kma 135r got the trimmer head I've got a blower got a couple other attachments but this thing is balanced really well it has loads of power and it's not real heavy and I do a lot of trimming around here and what I like about this one uh it's really easy it cuts well at low RPM which is kind of important around like all this Limestone right here because you'll beat the string to death it's important uh when you're trimming around the fence out front you don't want to bang up the fence you're going to hit it even if you try not to and this is the string that I use right here it holds up really well so well matter of fact I just put the last of it on this is what is that about 35 meters and I've had this for two years and I just put the last of it on trimmer but that's the one I use now before I started mowing I filled up the mower both tanks on it and I want to mention something every time I run this and it's on video I must have had the camera close to this fuel gauge right here but this tank was empty a lot of people are asking if the gauge was broken this tank was empty that one had gas in it and you can switch back and forth right there so I think it holds 11 gallons which will probably pretty much take care of me until fall because I can cut all of our grass and my mums in about an hour and 15 minutes maybe an hour and a half tops with this mower and by the way when I mentioned things like about this string trimmer or the mower the only reason I do that is because people ask questions about it so I try to answer those questions that's really the only reason this is not a sponsored video or anything like that and I honestly don't care what anybody else does and I say that quite often but I mean I really don't care what anybody else does don't bother me and I won't bother you but anyway enough about that uh it's getting late in the evening right now I'll report back tomorrow morning uh we'll have a lot of things going on tomorrow I'll see you then first thing in the morning and you can tell it's a cool morning when your gas cans do that the Levi and I are going to uh split up all this Maple and Cherry this should probably take about 45 minutes or something [Music] check everything out fill up the splitter and the conveyor thank you [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] not a bad start to the day [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] thank you thank you all right we're down here on my mom's driveway now just kind of uh freshening it up a little bit there are a few little ruts here and there but she doesn't like the weeds growing up through the stones I don't either so instead of uh you know sprayed a bunch of weed killer I just hit it real quick with the land plane smooth it out looks pretty good next up we're gonna head up my sister's driveway if you remember last year it's crazy how how fast time flies I think it was about a year ago we widened this driveway all out it was real tight real narrow uh we put a bunch of stone on it and we have a lot of stone down here at the bottom but when you get up up there a couple hundred yards gets kind of thin and gets kind of rough so we're just gonna make a few passes from down here at the bottom up to the top pulling from downhill uphill and uh we'll shine that one up a little bit while we're down here foreign I got about uh a quarter of my sister's driveway looking real good but up in here it's a little more work uh than what the land plane can provide I need to uh clean out this ditches right there it always sinks in this area there's a bunch of clay in here and it has for years it's just something you kind of have to deal with but I'm gonna stop right here because the next time I'm down this way with the skid loader I'll fix all this back up again there's no sense uh bringing all that nice Stone up this way if I gotta tear that section up there but from there down the rest of the way looks really good yeah down here looks like a new driveway but anyway right now we're gonna head back up to the house and I need to show you guys a license plate and read to you a letter that came with it I've been meaning to do this haven't been able to fit it in but I'm not going to forget this time it's definitely worth the watch so I'm back up the house now and it is uh it's a beautiful afternoon it is but I told you I had a story about a license plate if you're new to our channel uh people that watch our Channel were kind enough to send us in a bunch of license plates to hang in the game room and we have been doing that we'll show you that in another video coming up but it's hard to get anything done sometimes isn't it because a lot of them had letters attached to them and this one in particular this is from Wyoming right here all right typical license plate although you can see p-o-w-m-i-a over here so this letter that came with it is from Alan and Lisa Esterline and it says Dear Mike and Melissa these plates are from a 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer that my father Milton Esterline owned and drove before he passed 2008 Trailblazer nothing special right well the guy that drove that car is pretty special he was an Army Air corps B-17 pilot during World War II and they were shot down near Berlin on their 10th mission he was a pow for one year and 11 days if I remember correctly wow isn't that crazy and they go on but yeah they sent us it's his that was his that was his license plate cool so what we've been doing uh I got some nice screws I think I showed him another video and I screw these up to Wood but we're putting a lot of them on metal as well and Melissa got this tape it's very adhesive on the one side I mean it's sticky and the other side is magnetic and when she bought it I thought I don't know if that stuff's gonna work at all she bought like three rolls of this stuff and you got it where'd you get it at Uline Uline and I had great plans and she had these like I'm like that's not gonna work Melissa it cuts nice it works fantastic but you put it on these plates on That Metal in there I mean it is like snaps right too what happens that this plate is a plastic like a thick plastic yeah some of them are some plates are metal most of them are but some like you say aren't yeah when you buy like a specialized plate so so you got the adhesive on the one side and that's nice magnet them up but we're gonna load up the uh in the game room in the bathroom in the office in there and uh how many do you think we have over a thousand we have over a thousand license plates and thank you I would have to say there's still one box I haven't got the thank you cards written but all the others I've written over a thousand thank you cards to everyone that sent plays and if you haven't received a thank you card yet you're in that last box Melissa is very uh thankful she doesn't miss a thank you card I I seriously have everything lined up every t-shirt order anything like that you send a card with it or like a handwritten it's handwritten take some extra time but it's thankful for the order and I'm thankful for everything everyone send us we have a ton of stuff there's a whole nother box my organizational system is is stretched right now but I have a whole other box of things you all sent us that I'm like don't enjoy that yet I have to try to thank you and yeah if I start to open a box she yells at me because she has a whole system whatever was in it out yeah write the name and address down because I'll be like I'll just get my knife out start opening something up he does and then he leaves it there and gets on to something else and like ah I know but that's it great story about this uh his dad about Milton that's uh we're very appreciative for this plate and all the others but uh we need to go to Wyoming Wyoming's a nice state our niece that lives in Montana is going to college in Wyoming oh is she is that where it's at yeah for
