For someone complaining about purity tests, you should look at the giant skid mark the Democrats are staining the country from California to Washington with. Fortunately for loyal BlueStans, as long as a turd has a "D" stamped on it's side, it's good enough for them.
Good luck next month. Americans may be stupid, but I don't think they're stupid enough to buy the smoke being blown up their asses about O-Joe and Willie's Old Ho. Trump sucks, but those two have an actual history of sucking even worse.
It's not about purity. It's not about fascism. It's not about right-wing nationalists or far left anarchists, and it's definitely not about saving a democracy that left the station when Reagan and Clinton opened up our governmental institutions to the highest corporate bidders.
It's about the greedy motherfuckers who own our government and use it's two wings, the politicians in them whose campaigns they finance, along with the media they own to spread disinformation and manufacture consent on a scale that would make other state actors green with envy.
Until we respect ourselves enough to demand representation, and reject the offerings of our government's owners for the chance one of their tools will tip their investors apple cart, despite their subservience to capital, we'll just keep the hope-a-dope cycle of pragmatic, incremental change that never comes to fruition alive until our planet finally ends our misery for us.
There's no purity tests involved here. Neither corporate candidate on offer is worthy of consideration by anyone who cares about anything more than going back to the era that delivered Trump to the White House in the first place.
