ladies and gentlemen please welcome the 50 greatest nba players of all time number six bill russell number 13 wilt chamberlain the nba's elite have gathered for all-star weekend they are legendary figures in a half century of memorable moments [Music] i'm talking we're just saying how nice this place is according to where we used to play used to be a barn a converted it's theater honor to be among all these great ones but the real honor is that the nba gave us a chance to all do our thing i thought he'd pass me that drink but he doesn't pass anymore here's the bad boys it's almost a situation where you're speechless in terms of the impact on each individual who's allowed to be a part of it it's truly a blessing you know you did the first game we played against each other oh i remember that game i remember i remember because we were doing party [Music] i'm definitely in awe of the 49 other players that are around me you got to get a picture of this because this is classic right here because this is the guy that i patterned my game after right here of course i never could jump like he could but what's that what is the man this is the man the first guy walking yeah it was like a dream come true and i'm just sitting there watching oscar and jabar and bill russell and chamberlain and thanking god that i'm a part of this group how you doing man zeke what's going on nostalgic evening as the nba officially celebrates its 50th anniversary the back roads all my life i honestly don't think you could be god will i probably but uh could he go with me the defense wasn't special yeah right he scored 100 points too [Music] this is pretty amazing i'm excited to be here this is terrific this is basketball history what does he know about history this young guy here i know everything i i i wanted everybody autograph here a while ago when i was a kid when he was talking about get that rhythm oh yeah you got that rhythm you touched it i got my wrist yeah i swear to god but that's what made me start understanding [Music] i've been practicing that i can't wait to get it i can't wait to get him i love when he does that though yeah i'll see you next week yeah i'm going some outstanding records and congratulations it's unequivocally my greatest honor as an athlete and i i compared if i compared it to the hall of fame this is greater than being voted to the basketball hall of fame because you only have 50 guys as opposed to hundreds of guys and uh it's just a magnificent honor something that my mother and father would be proud of as i am myself what you dream about growing up as a kid these are all the players who are who i've been lucky enough to play with and then dream about and who kind of like yourself an unbelievable honor and privilege i'm thrilled to death it's such a sense of satisfaction a sense of release a sense of pride when you're part of the family there's nothing like that this is pretty amazing i'm excited to be here this is this is terrific this is basketball history what does he know about history this young guy i know everything i i i wanted everybody autographed here you didn't bring it up did you you brought it up did you have a three-point shot yeah there's a lot of money on this on your stand right here too but in michael and magic they got off before they have the real best of the best uh from a whole leg uh put together like that it's a it's like too awesome you know to really comprehend it all one time so you know when when great things happen like that sometimes you don't really appreciate my job days months and years later but uh i'm sure as i look back on some of these pictures and so on and so forth i'm gonna be being with being with the best in that particular way and being appreciated as such is a total honor team is like a spirit of moment thing but that's that's that's a walking basketball history encyclopedia there oh that's history over there no i ain't history that's his bunch of losers that's history man i'm gonna bust you we gonna bust we gonna win it this year don't worry but uh we're back together again our comedian team is back together we're going to be performing now
