I thought this was an outstanding look into the structure and features of the USS Alabama. My grandfather served on the Lucky A in WWII. He passed away just a few months ago--wish he could've seen the next generation taking interest in the Alabama. He always loved visiting Mobile to walk the ship.
At the ripe age of 90 just a few years ago, he could scale the nearly vertical stairs of the ship to get up to his favorite post. I legitimately struggled to keep pace with him.
Just thought I'd share the video and a brief memory of why it's important to me. Hope you all enjoy watching it and I hope it helps brings the history alive in-game. The men who worked those ships were taken from a different stock than our generation.
