NASCAR Close Call Moments #2

one good note for kyle busch he won both prior races and he's got his hands full back wow that was a save that was a great save difficult it is look how sideways kyle bush is that car's crashed it's it's basically crashed he's putting down his own tire tracks he saves it and unbelievably doesn't over correct it's so easy for that car to turn back to the right he works it back and forth that is pure just ability oh yeah he's high up in it getting in the corner but then goes to the bottom the car is just loose man [Music] now we talk about slip angles mike it's uh into the danger zone jason tate the jack man for kelly just gets in there between him and the 18 car very calm arola wow look at this right here yo we had to jump over both cars jumped over the hood and had to dodge that 18. and he's carrying a jack as he's jumping this guy isn't a pretty good athlete i have never seen nothing like that in my life that was so close his foot barely fit between both those cars and hardly ever miss a beat through that jack down draft jack that car up he's gonna talk about this one for a long time wow trevor bane keeps it off the wall and hangs on i mean danica just drove very aggressive got to his left didn't touch him just took the air off the rear of the car and got him sideways what happened there's tony's wow man well it doesn't get more blatant than that and look at this up across the track a lot of guys with some heads up driving a lot of cars missed this wreck oh my goodness with bobby labonte getting out on the inside we saw mike wallace go by on the outside dale jarrett back in the 88. he's watching he comes off the corner [Music] [Music] in front of clint warrior his teammate looked like clint did anything wrong it looked like jeff may have thought he had him cleared but he turned dead left in front of him yeah i don't know if that was information from the spot or if jeff just thought he had that much things getting busy at the front of the pack harvick the leader here comes mcmurray here comes truex four wide martin truax may lead this lap he does and burton hangs on he saved it i cannot believe jeff burton saved it and that was over 190 miles an hour pushed him to the lead but it didn't give him enough room to go with him oh is that kyle right there wow big save got spit out of that pack and thank goodness all that area to the inside coming off turn four is paved let's check it this out you can see bubba wallace that's a big run true actually they got a big run to the toilet is 21 gonna put a block yes oh wow he did he went backwards because he chose to reckon enjoy the ghana and kozlowski right along this doesn't even seem real to me this is like a video game oh i am reeled above it real close look out wow ricochets off that rear window and very little damage to the 23 however uh just a little bit peeling up there on the roof and the right windshield post so you have that sitting on the lot ah slick one owner just a little bit of damage what happened right here joey logano landed on me [Music] remember they started on the front row all guy are in the 12. keslowski in the 22. because that's got some problem with the 12 car his back panel sail panel has come loose the back bumper you see it's flapping wow maybe you got uh a little yeah don't have much shot too much bump drafting back there yeah yeah how about buffeting the spoiler though yeah ricky stenhouse there in the sixth car yeah you know he's had his problems not that far sticking straight up in the air still good said your bumper came off somebody probably banged it off of there oh here it goes yeah he just lost it right there just all that downforce inside here no caution no caution now you can see that that cell panel back there is just making it very very unstable he's gonna end up wrecking it again here if he's not careful [Music] they don't test this kind of thing in the wind tunnel so they don't know what it's actually doing sam with a big run that arrow loose or mechanical loose i think that's a driver right foot forgot to touch the brake loose yeah definitely contact there you can see elgar does a great job to keep from hitting the wall and didn't actually even spin all the way out how about that that's incredible at 100 and what miles an hour almost 85 90 yeah bobby labonte on the inside bobby flips up into him ward burton and the 22 barely misses him right there he gets sideways in the grass jumps across the pavement there gets that car back under control i'm telling you that's a piece of driving all right david so uh one thing we're noticing watching aj allmendinger here oh look at this ryan newman hello newman that's not good weren't we just talking about that oh look at that oh man clear up clear up no caution flag on the course yet just in that section bad get a caution now it's out oh man wow you know what that's a tough spot on this racetrack because where they have spotters around the racetrack oh that's never good tyler reddick oh chase elliot in the grass that's exactly what we were talking about have to stay off of him oh my goodness amazing save right there but he lost a lot of valuable positions now chase elliott way to the right of your screen same situation basically he's on the outside and they run wide they're three what four wide there what a job he did by knife not going completely around but as you mentioned mike there's that grass in the grill that looked like you in that rental car in front of me jeff except he saved it there's a reason why i'm not still out there boy danny may have a run on our leader yes he does oh trouble chase elliott around evasive action and he's going to get clear without contact hey that might be a put it out next year that is man 360 keep it going he might have to make a pit stop here is down now noah is saying don't do this to me again this is what happened to him last year man is that tire carcass gonna come off if it does and lands on the track there's gonna have to be a yellow but noah the nine car does not want to see a yellow come out eight laps to go and a great job by moffat to hang on and get that thing to pit road yes he did green and white checkered flag to drive her 11 in stage number one and as he wins it look at his teammate aj almandinger with the big save he needs a new new pair of shorts after that one it's pretty early you know you first got on the brakes you look at the you know a lot of weepers we call a lot of water down there on the apron well i could have kind of come into play there it's hard to follow though i think he's good to go before tire's on it yeah that was very odd the rear of the car locked up really quick almost wonder if somehow the brake bias wasn't set where he needed to be to make the pit road smoothly [Music] yellow or checkers and it's grant infinger out front you know rochester jordan anderson in second behind in [Applause] whoa that fingers just that was a save and a very good one i made you're not kidding he got down on the apron and just had to regroup there ralph that was a great save oh he's got a bit of a problem wally the steering wheel is off he says it feels very very weird kind of hard to drive a race car when the steering wheel's not attached oh man in the 33 yeah you see mark's car really well getting in the corner i talked to him down the grill before qualifying he says you know i got a fast car but this thing is not i just don't feel like it's under me all the way he said i don't know what it is i don't know if it's just i'm not used to these cars but he said i'm not really all that comfortable even though i'm pretty quick that wasn't the first bottle that he's had in these opening eight laps couple of laps to go watch this wow i say that's not comfortable wow goodness look at that [Music] that's incredible see mike bliss in the 44 get pretty close to the rear bumper no contact there but it probably took a lot of the air off of his rear spoiler spun didn't hit anything he did a great job of spinning the car out and not hitting anything other drivers did a real good job of not hitting him remember we were talking about mark martin making that great save here's kyle bush not to be outdone oh man big save and then the accident happened behind him that's put us under caution [Music] you
