NASCAR Bad Sportsmanship #4

Joey Lano is one of the most dirtiest racers in the Nascar Cup Series if you're a fan of him or if you're not you have to admit it this next clip just shows how dirty he is by intentionally crashing Kyle Larson he's got just a little bit of straightaway speed on these guys oh look at the 22 in the wallo yeah he made contact oh and he got Lon caution flag Bo we saw where the 22 of legano got a late run okay I'm with you Mike you know who will you know who will decide whether it was accidentally or not those two yes look at that see if the 42 maybe comes up in front of him yeah I think the 42 got a little bit tight there behind the 11 and that he came up the track that just ran the 22 wide I think legano bounced off the wall when he did it shot him over to the left a little bit and got him into Larson [Music] accidentally speaking of Kyle Larson Tony Stewart was extremely upset with Kyle Larson during a practice session at Watkins Glenn in 2016 Kyle Larson slowed down going up the s's blocking Tony Stewart from completing his hot lap see Stewart he is at PACE and Kyle lson is not at pace so up through the S's and you talked about it earlier for qualifying uh this kills Tony Stewart's laugh I mean it doesn't hurt it it kills it and then lson then decided to go and I'm sure that didn't make Tony Stewart happy no and one thing we know about Tony is when he's not happy he's going to come tell you about which I I respect I like to you know get it out in the open well Tony's getting out in the open right here and Kyle I like know what he's thinking as he stares at one of his mentors and Tony Stewart well I think I think too I think that Tony respects Kyle you I think Kyle respects Tony and I think when you when you it's almost like te this has to be one of the most forgotten rivalries in NASCAR Kyle Petty and Denny Hamlin Kyle peny and Denny Hamlin got together coming off in turn number four at do they ended up both crashing out and Kyle peny went into the garage area took down Denny Hamlin's window net and started screaming at him and they both did not hold back in their postrace interviews on lap 203 Chase Contender Denny Hamlin made contact with Kyle peny Sparks flew both on and off the track I watched the bush race and they said he was sick um so I guess whatever met he's taken makes him hallucinate cuz he needs three lanes to get around somebody on the racetrack let's look at back my career I've never wrecked anyone my entire career has anybody's spun off my front bumper so it ain't like you know I'm a guy that runs in everybody I mean it just got to use your brain you got to calm down this is not over for us a lot of guys had trouble today and we're going to we're going to bounce back from this this is uh just one step of this uh 10we Chase rough day for Denny Hamlin wrecked with Kyle Petty then the two drivers got into a brief skir Skirmish in the garage Hamlin stuck in 12th Place in the standings effectively ending his bid for a championship he hammered Petty pretty good after the race Kyle gets run over a lot and a lot of the reason is is he's he's so far off the pace you know and I firmly believe in my heart that he was trying to get out of the way um but you know I was on the I was right there on his bumper on the on the inside of him and I think he was trying to pull low and uh when he did he he he he checked up to to pull well I mean you can't do that when someone's right on you and I think the 2012 Richmond cuto off race to make the playoffs showed Kyle Bush in his true form of bad sportsmanship Bush missed the playoffs by three points he was ultimately very upset and honestly rightfully so but what you don't do when you're upset and you're professional athlete is not talk to the media and give the cold shoulder to your own boss and this is exactly what Kyle bus did during that race Kyle Bush can only Chase What Might Have Been now that's got to be bitter bitter bitter I blew it but we missed it my fault 100% my fault I blew it same balance owner Joe Gibbs reminds Bush not to lose character [Applause] [Music] Joey legado was racing extremely disrespectful to Denny Hamlin Joey Legato was multiple multiple multiple laughs down and had no reason to be racing Denny Hamlin this hard as Denny Hamlin was trying to keep his track position and help himself in the playoffs in the 2019 do race so we saw Joy Lano go to the garage 24 laps is what it took this team to change the gear here he is on the RAC trck 24 laps down this is a big point of contention with some of these drivers racing the leader Denny Hamlin the air was very difficult all the drivers talked about it you can see Denny can't get around him I was wondering why he couldn't go up the racetrack you mentioned later about how his car was so tight and in the end the 19 car got by the 11 see Mario gam went to the bottom of Jo aramendia and it got down on the apron it looked like Michael and when he did he lost control the back and made hard hard contact he's just expressing his displeasure with with the RM India there and flinging uh trying to fling something at him but darn after such hard contact that's into the concrete too Phil you see there's no safer barrier on that part of the race try Josh Barry is a Cup Series driver now but I bet none of you remember this during the Infinity Series in Josh Barry's career he was running hard into the wall by a car he ended up flipping off that car before walking into the ambulance this was Josh Barry's Shining Moment before he started kicking butt in the NASCAR xinity series when you're to race for a championship the worst thing you could do is affect the championship for another competitor if you have no shot at winning and this is exactly what happened with Carson josar and Cory Heim in last year's Truck Series championship race these two had some of the worst sportsmanship I've ever seen Carson hos ofar gets into Cory Heim spins him around early in the race later in the race Cory Heim intentionally crashes Carson josar bringing out a caution ultimately changing the outcome for the championship [Music] race big hit two things that go really well together Robbie Gordon and bad sportsmanship over his Nascar career Robbie Gordon never Shi away from showing his side of bad sportsmanship especially during in the 2006 Atlanta race where he manipulated the race by throwing out a piece of debris out of his race car bringing out a caution Robbie Gordon would ultimately be fined and docked points after this incident and he was not liked by many fans of the time and this did not help his case so um top 10 finish for you great night for you we were looking at some debris possibility coming out of your car roll bar padding anything like that going on uh not that I'm aware of um you know we had a good run tonight we broke a diff late in the race and had a shot at probably uh better finish than 10th so I'm pretty happy with with the Run we had tonight and we're looking for okay Rob we're showing it now here just so you can get a look at it can you guys run back one more time CU we didn't have it right in here there you go I'm messing up his holler here Robbie there's your car does it say what' you see back it up one more time guys we just get Robbie get a good look at this keep going keep going back back back back back we just want you to take a look cuz we're trying to figure out May something you ran over as well might have been something to run over cuz I um definitely didn't throw anything out the window so I don't know
