NASCAR Bad Luck Moments

oh no left re down leader goes around my God all guy in the wall what a change of events here caution is out oh good left just gosh we saw how low he just was off of turn four down there on the apron I wonder if he fell something that he was so low in corner three and four yeah it seemed I to be down that low I can't think of another xinity driver that has worse luck than Justin Aly Justin Aly is always hit or miss with his luck he's really lucky or he's very unlucky and unlucky he was during this Phoenix race as he cut a tire while leading the race with only four laps to go this was a huge devastating loss to Justin Aly second spot what a job Jeff Jeff Gordon is broken on the White Flag left Gordon has broken on the White Flag L they are racing for the win here in the Winston they're Racing for the win for the win in the Winston Mark Martin Le Bobby L is second they are coming to the checker flag Eli told you they were catching him I noticed it all of a sudden Jeff Gordon was off maybe the engine Miss he talked about earlier has struck Mark Martin wins his first career winon we'll ask him Ray did he say what happened says it's acting like it ran out of gas so uh I know I find that hard hard to believe but we'll have to find out this may be some bad luck but I'm pretty sure everybody in the '90s was glad Jeff Gordon finally ran into some bad luck during the Winston race Jeff Gordon runs out of gas entering turn one on the very last lap of the race costing himself the million dollars Mark Martin would ultimately go on to take the win that night and claim the money a major development here at Phoenix William Byron blowing up he's dominated this race on his way to the championship round of the chase six wins this season and I think when you talk about the the garage and if they would vote on who's the best team this season it would be the nine they have dominated in stretches with those six wins but they are not going to the championship round with an opportunity to win the title frustrating sad depressed you could put all these emotions into this one instant William Byron having an enormous season winning multiple races being easily the championship favorite misses the championship race because of an engine back when the playoffs first got introduced there was no stage points there was no playoff points it was reset after each round which meant everybody was at zero one bad race you're out William Byron in the last race to make the championship for in the truck series blows an engine ending his shot at a championship I think he might be a little bit more aggressive in this situation only because I think I think the 40 uh-oh what's going sto the track yeah um unless he's lost lost a gear this is going to be interesting Jimmy Johnson riding second as we sit right now on track and more on him with Ralph Well Chad Canal is the NASCAR official here talking about what what they can do and it looks like he just got a gift he just said check it out said you just got the gift for the day that's it it looks like Marcus was not allowed to go back to his spot yeah so that is absolutely huge that is very big but that is the rule that's the rule we we got into that a couple of years ago at a couple of guys trying to get to the end of the race starting and stopping who beat who back to the line who was this and that's a rule maros started around the corner Marcus started around the corner here and when he did the car was cut off when he coasted up there it would not fire he had to pull over they went around him he lost positions you have to maintain speed that's in the rule book Marcus Ambrose is known for NASCAR's road course ringer he was great on Watkins Lynn and Sonoma he was looking for his very first Nascar Cup Series win in 2010 he had the dominant car that day at somoma and was trying to sa fuel but his car ultimately shut off as he was going up the hill costing him valuable time in multiple positions on the racetrack the cheerleader 48 of Alex Bowman around he hit the front very hard remember Alex Bowman back from a concussion and not the way he wanted the last race of the season to go he's running top 15 off a turn two on the inside of the 38 of Gillan and wow coming up the racetrack Mika McDow right into the door I think Mich didn't realize that there was a car on the outside of Alex expecting Alex to come up off the corner a little bit wider on Corner exit real hard contact there luckily not it didn't look like a really hard direct impact to the inside wall kind of a glancing blow for Alex wow look at this yeah only thing I can figure is McDow thought that Bowman was going to move up the racetrack to the side of Todd Gillan and McDow just completely misjudged it and just cleans Alex Bowman out yeah Alex Bowman may not be the greatest driver at Hendrick Motorsports but he is the greatest driver at Hendrick Motorsports to have the worst luck take a look at this Alex Bowman's first race back after being concussed he ends up being wrecked by Michael McDow because Michael McDow is just blind stupid and whatever McDow is just I don't know what he was doing in this clip looks like we might have an issue with our pace car yeah it's pulled up to the top of the racetrack and now it's starting to move here I'm not sure exactly what was going on they're struggling to get the car to move we have a cleanup truck pacing the front of the field so we have that under control but yeah it just pulls up to the top I don't know and these drivers are kind of they're trying to figure out what to do because they have to follow the pace car chase is like a I don't want to pass you man I don't think I'm allowed to stop right here hey you said before the race that we would see things we've never seen before all right here we go oh my now seeing Oh this is so good right here this is I would can they not just push it with another truck or it's a good looking car we're going to put it on display Marty Rick you got to love the Martinville fans they're literally in one and two cheering the tow truck about to tow the pace car that's a new one is it yeah that's definitely something we haven't seen for quite some time but the crowd having some fun with it hey fall race martville you never know what you're going to see anything can happen yes the three the 48 the 51 and the 77 all speeding onit Ro all right so this one's actually pretty funny the pace car has some bad luck when do you ever see that in a NASCAR race well you usually don't the pace car ended up breaking down during the Martinsville playoff race of 2023 while Pace in the field entering turn one the pace car ran into a mechanical failure and ended up going all the way to the top of the racetrack and stopping the entire field did not know what to do they had to bring a tow truck out and it was just a hilarious incident but some pretty bad luck for the pace car and the pace car driver Legends of NASCAR only eight before him have ever won four got a flat tire the left front Tire's flat it's down he's going to go into the wall Kyle LS into the wall the 48 of Bowman's going to get by him a flat tire for Kyle Larson and now Alex B is going to win at poono unbelievable sometimes I just feel that things are never meant to be and people will never accomplish certain goals like this goal that most drivers have of wanting to break the record of most consecutive wins in the recent era Kyle Larson was going to do it he was going to win four races in a row that is something extremely hard to do especially in today's NASCAR he was one turn away until his tire was cut green flag look at Ryan Newman he he gave Warrior shot getting Clint just kamazi him there that's Mar racing son of a that's stupid idiot what in the hell went wrong I have no clue what he did he just bombed it in there like a [ __ ] but my thought the 39 already hit me and was going to go under me I sh the 15 no doubt but I was off of him before before he started hitting the break so he had plenty of time to slow up looking for their 200th win in the Nascar Cup Series was team Rick Hendrick Rick Hendrick had Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon doing their best that they always do at Martinsville Flatout dominating up until a late race caution and Clint Boer sent it in there dive bombing both of them sending them both spinning at ending their shot at winning for Rick Hendrick's 200th win if that isn't some bad luck I don't know what is
