where the coverage was harris came out of the backfield in alabama from the 23-yard line looking right back throws it across the middle slanting towards the end zone naji harris touchdown and i don't care what era you're around you know what a touchdown is that was a 23 yarder from the 18 here's matt looks right throws a slant across the middle hustling to the goal line spinning is in [Applause] harris hands the ball off to harris trying to run the ball off to the right and down to the goal line but stood up short of the goal line about a half yard away it'll be second and goal and during the injury timeout the previous play went under review and after review the officials said the ball crossed the goal line they overturned the call and awarded alabama a touchdown [Music] and he's going to get the handle here and naji harris brook a tackle goes for about 15. yes he can run it very well as well najee harris busts it outside naji harris on his way all the way down the field on play action naji harris lots of running room outside and he runs over kyle hamilton to get to the 18 lead now to the left of the quarterback is naji motion from the near side to the far here's the handoff naji bounces off one man hurdles a man on the right sideline he'll come down the right to the 30. he's in the 25 20. he's the 15 and he's out of bounds at the 10-yard line just as the soccer star megan repino asked him to do for her after he acknowledged all that she has done societally here with her stance from the women's national soccer team she said naji hurtle one for me and take it down the sideline and he did just that for 51 yards the fourth quarter here at the rose bowl game tied leading by 21 and naji harris picks up the first down inside the 30. [Applause] harris picks his way to the right patiently gets the corner and just barrels over sean wade another first the tail back naji follows everybody he's to the goal line he is in touchdown alabama behind leatherwood who pulled and everybody else who brought their big bodies with them alabama on a one-yard touchdown rush drawing first blood tonight [Applause] harris has it on second and on middle was claude tries to bounce it but the pursuit gets it four is anticipating the run from harris they've got him bottled up look at all those white jerseys somehow wide receiver u buckeyes have a run blitz but harris gets through it and barrels for on a second down play matt looks wide open left side naji out of the backfield makes the grab at the tent cuts inside the defense he'll fire forward he's got a touchdown they lost him out of the backfield 26 yards back to a wide open naji and once the defense caught up with him he made one man look foolish and he flattened the other guy for the touchdown jones looks over the middle harris again catch stiff arm first down not about the nfl and waddles and representation of that not this group for sure harris makes the catch and it's another first harris slips through some tackles and lean middle right in the middle watch six get off of the block he's right there he's got him wrapped up and then pete warner's got still short of the first award winner third and goal bubble screen big shot delivered harris just absorbed josh proctor 41 but he gets underneath the blocks he's clean harris i can't believe he held on to the football in motion handoff naji touchdown alabama naji walks it in from a yard away and it's getting close john parker getting close you run behind devonta brown and joshua mcmillan you're going to have all sorts of running
