let me get this straight so instead of holding on to your gems for the fabled anniversary Nik you decided to dip into your savings and pull for what people believe to be the bunny comp 2.0 well don't mind me because I totally just didn't spend $20 on a calculated gamble so I can save my ticket to make this video so Naga and tia are out we've seen them in action for almost a week now and it's time to find out if they're really what people make them out to be my name is psyche and this is my guide and review of Naga and Tia so for the sake of brevity some players abbreviate the duo as TGA so I guess I can call them that too I've taken a look at other people's findings and I've also done some testing of my own we'll start by taking a look at their kits since I already examined their kids in detail in my pre-analysis video I'm going to break down the important bits primarily how they actually work together Naga has a core damage buff and some cover repair mechanics she also functions as a heal ER and one that's actually quite consistent though it does require a bit of investment there's a number of good stuff here but some of them will be locked behind a condition of having a shield I forgot to mention this in the pre-analysis video that she also gains Pierce upon burst for whatever reason it's a cool gimmick not particularly useful luckily that's where Tia comes in and provides that much needed condition to help reach each other's full potential Tia's skill one works whenever her cover is repaired when done consistently her long 40-second cool down burst can be reduced to less than 20 which is more than enough to sustain rotations another thing I missed in the pre-analysis is that the attack damage buff indicated here is indeed different from a normal attack up this is supposedly a separate multiplier that will increase your overall damage by a considerable margin and it does not saturate the attack stat of units quite interesting I don't believe we had something like this before skill 2 has a rare cover repairing mechanic but how this works is a little bit different how this puff works is similar to noise if you need a refresher I have a noise guide available in a nutshell after five normal attacks Tia will actually increase cover Max HP and then repair cover for the same amount that was buffed after the 5 Seconds is up in a nutshell what you need to understand is that you should not trigger skill two until after 5 Seconds have past in a really dumb down explanation just don't spam ala's Rockets you want the buff to expire before reapplying it otherwise the cover healing won't go through you won't have to worry about this if you just put Tia on auto so that's a small little shortcut upon use of her burst she will also repair cover and gain a small leech effect where you heal by dealing damage the wording here is quite inconsistent if you compare the same effects from Helm but that is how it works Tia's burst will also generate everyone a shield again if you need to refresher on Shields work you can watch my pre-analysis video one thing I did miss is is that this is indeed different from cti's Shield mechanic centi will only give herself a shield but it blocks all incoming damage but Tia will physically give everyone a shield she will also reenter you into burst stage one as an overview we can see that Naga and tia cooperate harmoniously to provide healing cover repair Shields attack ups and a core damage specialty what more could you ask for seems like the perfect sequel to The Bunny twins right well kind of before we talk about teams and downsides we'll discuss Talent leveling priorities as per usual I'll be using three tiers of priority as I have in my past guides let's start with Naga skill one gets high priority core damage is one of her Specialties and this one gives more than skill two speaking of which skill two will get medium priority while you still get some core damage this one is not as much as the previous the healing is also nice it will trigger every five shots though you will need some investment into your gear that I'll talk about later the burst gets high priority it's an attack up and there a big bonus if you pair her with Tia though admittedly if you somehow don't have Tia then this might not get that big as a priority the Pierce effect doesn't really matter it's a cute little addition I guess let's go over Tia's skill leveling skill one gets a high priority the main thing we want here is the attack damage up as it is a separate multiplier and a very valuable one at that the cool down does scale with level but if you have it at around level s you'll still get enough to burst every rotation skill two gets low priority it doesn't do any damage nor buff damage in any way though the cover repair is quite nice to have however I personally found having low Investments can have some healing problems so this can get raised if you find that you need a bit more healing bur gets low priority due to how much damage enemies can do in the late game you either have a shield or you don't so the amount of Shield you get from this really doesn't matter that much now onto gearing as I mentioned previously having low investments in a Duo can have some healing problems as I found that without any raised skill levels the healing was not enough to sustain Scarlet or A2 the main pieces you want to level are the body and the boots because they give the most HP Ana's defensive skills scale with Max HP if you have access to overload gear I would overload the body and then the boots but you don't need to waste any modules to reroll the affixes you just need them for the stats level these pieces as high as you're willing to invest I would personally stop at three as the resource just get a little tight after that for cubes you can use Brazilian or Bastion but TGA is a support core so if you can't spare any cubes they're perfectly fine without having one you might be surprised why this section exists at all TGA are supporters how can they possibly need a guide on gameplay well after messing around with them I did find there were some nuances on controlling them the primary thing you want to make sure that does not happen is that Tia's cover health is depleted this is because she gains buff whenever her cover is repaired except a unit's cover cannot be repaired if it's completely broken luckily Tia has access to a big boost in cover HP as well as providing a useful shield for herself this can actually be prevented if you're a little careful something that's quite Troublesome for Tia is that her taunt ability will taunt all enemies not just the targeted one this makes the taunt significantly less useful in environments that's not a boss fight in fact I don't actually recommend bringing TAA to late campaign stages as at that point unless you're really patient you're always expected to fight at a power deficiency and since there's kamakazi enemies that will literally One-Shot your units Tia is most likely not going to live very long in boss fights like raids and special interception this doesn't really matter since there is only one target that Tia can't on anyways you can also try to iframe certain hits and sometimes if the boss is about to unleash a heavy hitting attack it may be in your best interest to intentionally time the burst and face tank the damage to let the shield take the hit saving Tia from a blown cover I actually quite like this aspect of the TGA comp as there is an aspect of a skill ceiling and that a more experienced Commander might get more out of the duo now let's talk about teams unlike the bunny twins unfortunately tga's use case is a bit more specific however in that Niche that the two specialize at they are really good from looking at their kids the two want to abuse the enemy core buff to its fullest while normal enemies do typically have course because of Tia's taunt all effect I don't recommend bringing them to campaign stages this leaves bosses in most encounters you want to pair tea with KNE case that can reliably hit Kors hard and fast the prime examples include Alice Maxwell and Snow White because of their High Precision high damage shots the multipliers for the course go off the charts I tested this in the current solo raate against Malia and while I don't play solo rate competitively it does provide me with an environment where I can showcase units in the late game setting Naga and tia worked insanely well because because you want to break Mia's core ASAP that core damage boost is quite the Difference Maker by spamming Alice's shots you can see that the core breaks only in a couple of hits meanwhile without the duo even my most invested team including Malia and Scarlet couldn't get it down this quickly and while the boss can do AOE damage to all your units you can use Tia's Shield to face tank a hit and save some cover Health I'll be it stunning yourself in the process this level of utility when using the right fights is indeed rivaling that of the bunny twins however not all bosses are compatible with tigga not all of them will have cores for you to exploit and some cores are whe placed or just awkward to hit in general like Gravedigger I mean good luck hitting that thing in cases like chatter box such as in the current events challenge mode tigga is not useful at all because you don't actually want to break the boss's core otherwise he does a powerful slam that can wipe out your team for team configurations because of TV entering you into stage one this means you're forced to run a 21 one two format where you run two type ones Tia and someone else Naga is the sole type two and two type 3 DPSS I would recommend Alice and maxall if you have them but if you don't any unit that can hit things accurately can work so just don't put shotgun units here you really want to hit the core reliably for the other type one I would recommend a unit that gives cooldown reduction a CDR is just really valuable to half you can slot in leader Dorothy or volume I didn't mention this in the pre-analysis but TGA doesn't have the same restrictions as the bunny twins in the sense that you have to pair the two together Naga seems to be the more useful of the two when working independently having cover repair core damage Buffs and healing she can be slotted as the type two in certain teams one that can work decently with this is an A2 team as leader and Naga work as the defensive core and healer an E2 can get you to Full Burst faster as you're sacrificing CTI for Naga this support core will have low burst generation however this will also allow you to run three type 3 DPSS which can be quite useful poor Tia left in the dust just like in the event overall Naga and tia indeed prove to be worthy opponents of the bunnies but there will be certain limitations so now comes the agal question do you pull well I know I'm quite late with the guide so naga's Banner will probably be over by the time this gets out but my main findings is that Tigo works best in late game Boss Fights namely raid events challenge modes and campaign bosses their util during these encounters are absolutely invaluable to have and leans into a slightly different play style of aiming for enemy cores as such I'm still willing to give them a five out of five rating for The Duo that being said I know that not all players focus on raid content it's technically optional so if that's not something you want to invest in and you already have the bunny comp you can get away with just wishlisting them and potentially getting a copy in the future if you do not have the bunnies and want an easy way to to combat campaign bosses then you you'll likely get a lot of use from them since raids require you to use multiple teams tga's support core serves as another powerful lineup without sacrificing your other meta units it's an amazing investment if you're deep into raid content but can be gleaned over if you're not into this kind of stuff I realize that the timing of tga's release is a bit tight now that we're only one event away from the first anniversary and many are predicting that we get red hood as the anniversary Nik so it's going to be a tough choice of whether or not you want to dip into your savings thank you for reaching the end of the video for a little reward for getting this far shift up has just announced a new character quiry with the Halloween event I don't even know what they were trying to do with this I guess you can put her in your 2B team but overall she has an extremely basic and underwhelming kit that unless the game focuses on stats that's not attack going forward I can't see query being much use I'm just going to give an early rating of two out of five which in some regards is actually good since I really want to hold on to my savings for anniversary this one will be a skip for me anyways I hope you enjoy this guy and Analysis of Naga and tia let me know if you managed to pull the two and how they have been working out for you thank you for watching and always remember have fun with the [Music] game
