she talks so passionately
So what I got from this is that if you're young you probably should not supplement with nicotinamide mononucleotide or nicotinamide riboside since your NAD levels are probably okay. This is the case since excess nicotinamide, which both nicotinamide mononucleotide and nicotinamide riboside are converted into, is actually a sirtuin inhibitor. Which you don't want.
Great video, I enjoy Dr. Patrick’s work. I have to admit, NMN is the most effective supplement I’ve ever taken. I’m only 40 but I’ve seen benefits all over the place after 6 months, benefits I can’t really chalk up to placebo at this point. I’ve given it to my dad and to his friend—their quality of life has both improved greatly. I realize there are unknowns about its long-term safety but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.
Getting the feeling of being in your 20s again, or even before, having that mental and physical clarity returned, remembering the excitement and potential of being a kid again, realizing how much of that we lose as we age... it’s powerful.
Too bad supplementing with NMN or NR is crazy expensive
Is Rhonda taking this? Cause she is lookin hot asf.
