My SpongeBob SquarePants DVD UK Collection (Part 1: Standard Releases)

hello there everybody Welcome to Matt's World and in this first video I'm going to be showing you all my complete almost complete SpongeBob SquarePants UK DVD collection as I'm from the United Kingdom um I've collected the United Kingdom releases which there hasn't really been a big video like this on YouTube before and this collection started a long time ago when I was younger um and this is it in all its Glory um I am splitting this video into a few parts though because as you can see this collection is massive so um the first part I'm going to be talking about the um series releases of just like the episode releases and then the second part I'm going to be doing the movies and the season box sets and some other stuff and then in the third part um I will be showing my SpongeBob SquarePants VHS tapes which I don't have either at my grandma's house keep me VHS tapes there because um they have a video player and um whenever I keep videos at my dads um they just throw them away and don't tell me so um yeah so I keep him at my grandma so that they don't get choked but um anyway so without further Ado I'm just going to get started um this part is going to be the series releases which are a lot and then here are the movies and um season box sets so we're going to start with the first release the first spongeb DVD ever released was nautical nonsense and sponge buies um as you can see this is uh the 2012 reprint cover um which might be rarer than the original release I know I don't have the original release of this and the next one but um so yeah the episodes are ripped pants s sp12 Texas the graveyard shift something smells jellyfishing diam pie wormy fun and Club SpongeBob the DVD has a run time of 108 minutes but as you can see even though the case is rebranded it is still the original disc and I've watched it it is the original DVD as it was released in 2003 so there's nothing different really between this and the original besides the cover next up is um Halloween again 2012 reprint but it was originally released in 2003 um this is another reprint and the episodes are Scaredy Pants imitation crabs Franken noodle I was a teenage Gary squid with the unfriendly ghost the secret box Band Geeks welcome to the Chum Bucket my pretty seahorse and idiot box and there are some special features on the cover the Scaredy Pants music video and the SpongeBob video game sneak peek there are some special features on not nautical nonsense as well but they're not on the cover um and this DVD is 118 minutes so slightly longer than nautical nonsense and sponge budes and here's the disc however this time the disc is also a reprinted disc it's not the original cover on the disc but again like before the contents of the DVD are exactly the same as the original release so next up we've got Tales from the deep one of the few early SpongeBob DVDs that hasn't gotten a reprint cover ever so yeah this is the original cover um and it does say interestingly on the back it includes episodes from the deep sea CES and bikini bottom V bash videos but I have never seen those circulate in the UK ever like on eBay or anything or in other people's YouTube videos so I don't even know if they're actually released in the UK but correct me if I'm wrong um the episodes are house party hall monitor I had an accident Valentine's Day just one bite Mermaid Man and binle boy tea at the tree Dome the paper and born again crabs and this is around 111 minutes long and there's the disc next up we have lost at sea which was released in 2004 forgot to mention Tales from the deep was released in 2003 this was released in 2004 was the first to have this at the time modern DVD box case design the episodes are the sponge you could fly Plankton bted School SS M manle by two the chaperon bubble body your shoes untied and prehibernation week it's 114 minutes long here's the disc next up we have tide and seek which was again released in 2004 and the episodes on this are mer man boy three Big Pink Loser opposite day squirrel jokes Rocka by Valve dumped bossy Boots the bully sleepy time and squidville 116 minutes in length here's the disc next up is the SE skape capers make sure the camera is focused this was released in 2005 and the episodes of the Fred cut Games Bubble stand squids day off SpongeBob Meets the Strangler pranks a lot artist unknown Grandma's Kisses crusty love crab bog and the smoking peanut this is 117 minutes in total here's the disc next up SpongeBob goes prehistoric again 2005 the episodes are SpongeBob BC nature pants fulls in April I'm with stupid Patty Hype squid on strike The Great Snail Race Plankton's Army and Squan returns 115 minutes in length and I've knocked him all over yay there's a disc just quickly stand these back up next up sponge guard on duty [Music] 2005 and the episodes are sponge guard on duty naughty nautical neighbors walking small pressure jellyfish Hunter Nasty Patty doing time and clams and this one is 92 minutes long so this is a shorter DVD compared to the rest we've seen so far there's the disc if you haven't really figured it out by now every single SpongeBob DVD is been released by Paramount Home Entertainment and uh Nickelodeon obviously next up we have home sweet pineapple from 2006 and the episodes are home site pineapple bang Geeks Sandy SpongeBob and the worm rip pants Sand's rocket culture shock muscle Bob buff pants and employee of the month and it's 95 minutes long in to there's the disc next up we have sponge for from 2006 in the episode are crusty crab training video can you spare a dime missing identity crabby land wet painters new student styish midli crustation and the Camping Episode and this is 98 minutes long there's the dis next up Fe ofite Krabby Patty first spongeb DVD to feature season 4 episodes and this is from 2006 again and the episodes are Fe Krabby Patty shiv man AR Neptune spatula one crabs trash M manoy 5 karate Choppers and I'm your biggest fanatic and it is 95 minutes in total there's a disc next up this was the first SpongeBob DVD I owned as a kid Lost in Time my this isn't the original copy I had though as a kid that copy got lost I lost it disappeared so this this is actually a different copy but it's the same um so this isn't the DVD that started the collection unfortunately but it's the first one I did own as a child and the episodes are Dungeons and dungeons I'm thinking of the ball game duners and Dragons selling out Funny Pants Mery man and ble boy six the motion pitcher enemy in- law and Patrick smart pants again released in 2006 they really went crazy with these DVDs in 2006 didn't they 81 minutes so one of the shortest ones we've seen so far and there's the disc bloody hell camera's shaking apologies next up it's Karate Island the first sponge rod DVD released to be rated PG in the United Kingdom cuz that's the rating of The Karate Island episode par me and the episodes are squid Bob tentacle pants crusty Towers Mrs Puff your fired ghost host wishing you well Karate Island and New Leaf this was released in 20 7 and it's 81 minutes long there's the disc hand keeps shaking sorry about that next up Whale Of The B birday released in 2007 and the episodes Are All That Glitters Whale of a Birthday Once Bitten chimps aoy bummer vacation Wick struck and that's no lady um and this is 87 minutes long there's a disc next up where's Gary where the uh Gary Come Home song came from and the episodes are have you seen this snail the Lost mattress crabs versus Plankton Good Neighbor skill Crane and The Great Snail Race and this is 89 minutes in total and in this disc DVD there is a leaflet for the uh SpongeBob Atlantis Square pantis PlayStation 2 game but it was also available on Wii DS as well and there's the disc next up Christmas this was the first actual DVD that started the collection the veteran if you will um this was the first one that I own that never got lost this was the first one that was bought for me I believe I did get it as a Christmas present ironic released in 2007 again um and the episodes are Christmas who procrastination Snowball Effect survival of the idiots M man bacle boy 4 chocolate with nuts as seen on TV pizza delivery and squeaky boots and it is 119 minutes long the disc next up we [Music] have Pest of the West SpongeBob's Pest of the West the first one released in 2008 the episodes are Pest of the West money talks SpongeBob versus the Patty Gadget slimy dancing the Crusty sponge sing a song of Patrick and a flee in her dome and this is 81 minutes there's the disc next friend of her sunlight keeps making me camera go out focus and the episodes are friend of her the original Fred cook NightLight rise and shine waiting fungus among us huh and Sky buddies Sky buddies spy buddies so apologies I can't read uh it's 83 minutes long released in 2008 I think I did mention that Pest of the West was released in 2008 no I did I definitely did uh there's a disc next up Atlantis Square pantis SpongeBob's Atlantis Square pantis the patchy segments really carry this special on its back to be completely honest and the episodes are Atlantis Square pantis the Crusty plate patner pay the inmates of Summer to save a squirrel 20,000 patties under the sea and the Battle of Bikini Bottom released in 2008 99 minutes in total length just shy of 100 there's the disc next up is um SpongeBob Square Pants 10 happiest moments and the episodes are tea at the tree Dome merid man bar boy culture shock karate Choppers the ARG is always greener just one bite graveyard shift no weenies allowed roller cowards and Christmas who and there's also special features which includes the Help Wanted pilot episode and a crabs and Plankton photo gallery so this is the only DVD released that had the pilot on um as none of the others ever did this is from 2009 this was the 10th Anniversary DVD of the show 131 minutes in total disc next up we have SpongeBob and the big wave probably one of my favorite cover designs for these DVDs to be honest I love the art style of it that Focus here the episodes are SpongeBob and the big wave a Life in a Day Sun bleached giant Squidward no nose nose Patty Caper and Plankton's regular 94 minutes in length released in 2009 there's the disc one of them boring gray discs unfortunately next up SpongeBobs who what who Bob what pants you will never forget the laughs from the Bikini Bottom times definitely did forget the L the last considering SpongeBob loses his memory anyway whatever happened to Spongebob Goo Gas Goo Gas the two faces of Squidward sponge henge Bandon bikini bottom and Stanley S Square Pants special features original animatic for whatever happened to SpongeBob and Four Shorts which are the legends of Bikini Bottom short films narrated by patch of the pirate it's from 2009 82 minut in length disc there it is back to actual discs now next up Truth or Square the only DVD in this lineup that has a cardboard slip case this was obviously the 10th anniversary special that no one liked and the episodes are truth Square porous Pockets quiet boys crusty crushes and the card with special features behind the scenes of the SpongeBob oh opening pretty sure that's the stop motion one and car karaoke music videos 113 minutes in length it's released in 2009 let's take it out of it cardboard case that's the actual case the camera would focus that would be much appreciated it's not focusing completely different packaging design to the cardboard cover inside is a leaflet best Tunes are on Tunes as SpongeBob goury Fairly Parents and the Penguins of Madagascar the Truth or Square video game out on the 13th of November on Wii DS PSP and Xbox 360 those were the days there's the Des next we have to love a Patty probably one of the most vile episodes ever SpongeBob falls in love with a rotting crappy Patty for some reason anyway episodes to love a Patty a fleeing her Dum Mermaid Man versus SpongeBob the big switch the Donut of Shame Black Jack and blackened sponge released in 2010 78 minutes in length so again one of the shorter ones that we've seen so far and there's the disc with Mr Krabs completely confused as to why SpongeBob has falling in love with a sandwich next one the last SpongeBob DVD released with the original Nickelodeon logo before they changed it the Viking Adventure this DVD cover is better than better than the episode to be honest the episodes are dear Vikings ditching the Splinter side whistle stoes Grand papy the pirate seop pod Lodge Shuffle boarding and Professor Squidward special features animation art gallery storyboard and character art 94 minutes long released in 2010 Dis Let's Move On to the next one first one with the new Nickelodeon logo from 2010 onwards SpongeBob Square Pants SpongeBob round pants with a Nickelodeon exclusive bonus episode the episodes are to square pants or not to Square Pants squids visit pineapple fever chunk Cav boting Buddies the Krabby Chronicle the slumber party and grooming Gary special features animation art gallery storeo storyboard panels and character Arts burnus episode Back at the Barnyard cow's best friend so there is a Back at the Barnyard episode on here which was quite late in the show's lifetime in 2010 92 minutes approximately released in 2010 and there the desk pardon me next up Triton's Revenge features the TV special SpongeBob and The Clash of Tron with Victoria Beckham includes Nickelodeon exclusive bonus episode and the episodes are The Clash of Triton sand castles in the Sand Shell Shocked Chum Bucket Supreme single cell anniversary tentacle vision and IH heart dancing with a back at The Bard episode Hypno Agogo 92 minutes long released in 2010 don't know where that piece of paper came from but his disc next Legends of Bikini Bottom includes Nickelodeon burnus episode and these are all the um Legends of bikini bottom shorts again um with the five Fanboy and Chum Chum episode whiz boy behind the scenes of Legends of bikini bottom and special features 67 minutes approximately was released in 2011 I think these are more than just the uh the original four that were on the true Four Square DVD Legends of Bikini Bottom disc an advert for SpongeBob SquarePants magazine a very handsome picture of Patrick if I had known this existed when I were a kid I'd have been begging meone for it but hey home you can design a legendary costume for SpongeBob so camera we just having a moment there next up we have spongicus the episodes are spongicus suction cup Symphony house fany crabby rude Penny foolish nautical novice not normal and gone special features animation out Gallery storyboard spongicus storyboard panels and character art 118 minutes in length they couldn't squeeze in a special episode of a show there's the disc which is interesting because the disc has the original Nickelodeon logo on it instead of the new one which is quite strange but hey home little print error Spongebob's last stand with a bonus episode come on focus and the episodes are SpongeBob's Last Stand petto pests computer overload gullible pants overbooked no hat for p and toy store of Doom special wood Fe special feature Bollywood Bob and it includes a Fanboy Chum Chum episode pick Anders episode 78 minutes long released in 2011 this and another advert for the SpongeBob magazine you can design a legendary costume again right Next the Great Patty Caper includes Nickelodeon bonus episodes with an S almost forgot to show the spine the episodes are the great Patty Caper growth spout stuck in the ringer someone's in the kitchen with Sandy the Inside Job greasy buffoons and model sponge and includes a bonus Fanboy chumchum episode doll Day 94 minutes in length and was released in 2011 there's the disc next up Heroes of bikini bottom with a Nickelodeon bonus episode the episodes are back to the past the bad guy club for villains keep Bikini Bottom beautiful a alag Gary Yours Mine and mine cracked crabs a day without tears and summer job and the bonus Fanboy in chum chum episode The Hard cell 95 minutes in length released in 2012 disc this is where we start to see more yellow clam shells instead of orange next episode SpongeBob's runaway road trip includes a Fanboy and Chum Chum episode they seem to stop including other shows for a while so they just put Fanboy Chum Chum on the cover instead of Nick loan episode and um it's 71 minutes it has this The Runaway road trip episode along with the bonus episodes hideing them what happens and shellback shenanigans and includes a bonus Fanboy in chumchum episode digital pet cemetery released in 2012 and it's 71 minutes long there's a disc next up SpongeBob Square Pants the great slay race includes a Fanboy Chum Chum burners episode the episode uh Frozen face off one course meal garyan love the play is the thing rodo days Grandma's secret recipe and the scent of money and it includes the Fanboy Chum Chum episode trading day it's 94 minutes in total released in [Music] 2012 the disc next up ghouls fools the episodes are gouls fools ghost host Shanghai ar your shoes untied and Money Talks first DVD in a while that has included some classic episodes 82 minutes in length uh released in 2012 with the Fanboy and Chum Chum episode there will be shrieks disc there's a disc next up a SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas it's the SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas sorry one of the better specials modern specials and obviously there is um it's just this Christmas special with special features change of scenery as in upon getting to to the Bikini Bottom getting to the bottom of a stop motion Bikini Bottom U log that head scratch it to read this was released in 2015 was 23 minutes in length so there was a bit of a gap it's 23 minutes the shortest spongeb DVD so far disc next up disorder in the Deep includes a Fanboy and Chum jum S I seem to have put SpongeBob Square Pants Christmas in the wrong place cuz this was released in 2013 oh well episode accidents will happen the other Patty drive-thru the hot shot a friendly game sentimental sponge Squidward school for grownups and oral report and uh the Fanboy Chum Chum episode I fan bot 107 minutes in total disc next up sweet and sour Squidward with a FY jum episode episodes are sweet and sour squid restraining SpongeBob the ghouly artiste buried in Time Enchanted Tiki dreams Squidward in clarinet land and Barnacle face includes a burners Fanboy and Chum Chum episode excuse me 83 minutes [Music] total little advert SpongeBob SquarePants merchandise the talking SpongeBob tie some other stuff this is sponge tastic nothing on the back there's a disc next up Karate extreme [Music] karate it includes a Fanboy and Chum Chum episode episodes are squid defense the way of the sponge house for S house sitting for Sandy the Krabby Patty that eight Bikini Bottom Plankton's Good Eye squirrel record face Freeze and demolition doofus two of the most hated episodes to end the DVD on and the Fanboy jump Chum episode prankmas 94 minutes in length from 2014 and there's the disc next up we have deep sea games two hours of sport and Adventures and a video story book SpongeBob football star and the episodes are extreme spots the fry cook games karate Choppers a friendly game jellyfishing demolition doofus Shuffle boarding crusty crushes a life in the day the Hot Shot prehab week and muscle Bob buff pant with a sanj and Craig episode finally Le something not fanboying Chum Chum Brett Venom MD 14 142 minutes in length from 2015's a disc if you're wondering where I got all these DVDs from half the collection came from solely from the DVD store HMV in the UK where I used to buy them but then they stopped selling them because they stopped relas releasing SpongeBob DVDs in 2018 in the United Kingdom so um so I had to get the rest of the collection online during lockdown during Co lockdown but the collection's complete now anyway bikini botton buddies and they've put Nickelodeon exclusive bonus episode back on the cover rather than just from boing Chum Chum and the episodes are the curse of Bikini Bottom That Sinking Feeling karate star the Masterpiece and you don't know sponge in spongia and the good crabby name Fanboy Chum Chum episode Fanboy stinks 83 minutes from 200 14 I'm sure this was released in 2015 maybe the cover cover was released in 2014 I'm not sure though anyway dis next up one of the most hated episodes SpongeBob your fired with the Nickelodeon bonus episode and the episodes are SpongeBob your fired free car 2.0 for here or for for here or to go Chum for or move it or lose it Fiasco with a sanj and Craig episode laugh Quake 94 minutes in length from 2014 there's the disc next up Patrick SquarePants and the episodes are the Big Pink Loser the secret box I'm with stupid New Student Starfish doners and Dragons Patrick smart pants that's no lady driven to tears the gift of gum karate star big sister Sam Squidward school for grown-ups the googly artist and pet sitat so a mix of classic episodes and modern episodes centered around Patrick 178 minutes I believe this is the longest DVD we've seen from 2015 it's the longest DVD we've seen yet and uh there's the disc a lot of these last releases have black cases instead of yellow or orange or clear it's just the SpongeBob with the cross out Patrick's probably my one of my favorite discs that they ever did and there's an advert for the SpongeBob hero pants video game the Xbox 360 PS Vita Nintendo [Music] 3DS quite a diverse conso range and yeah try not bend them there we go next up the adventures of SpongeBob Square Pants as you've noticed with the Patrick SquarePants onwards they've stopped doing the bonus episodes and this includes the entire collection oh Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy Adventures along with Patrick man so it's 107 minutes long from 2015 it's basically if you if you like the Mermaid Man and bacle Bo if they your favorite characters this is the one for you there's a disc a reflective disc of a boring disc design along with your favorite characters from bikini botton brawl getting on the action at Brawlers nickelodeon.com now um yeah next up it came from go Lagoon with a Nickelodeon burnus episode they've started doing burners episodes again or at least just for this DVD which includes it came from go Lagoon of the jellyfish wel attack eek and urchin don't look now super eval aquatic villain team up is go and hide him then what happens with the San Craig episode maximum Dennis 92 minutes in length from 2016 there's a is three left Next Up Bikini Bottoms Most Wanted and the episodes are jailbreak Plankton's pet evil spatula sance little yellow book Yeti crabs safe deposit crabs and Home Sweet bubble home sweet Rubble sorry 90 minutes in length from 2016 there's the disc this is the last SpongeBob DVD with episodes released for the collection crabby days with the second to last sorry it's not the last the episodes are pull up a barrel company picnic chor sauce what's eating Patrick lost in Bikini Bottom licensed to Milkshake the executive ative treatment Sanctuary um yeah I'm sure there episodes It's 88 Minutes in length from 2016 and there's the disc last but not least the final SpongeBob DVD released in the United Kingdom of episodes the legend of BU of bukini bottom a spook out stop motion special 50 minutes later we've made it to the end includes the legend of bini bottom feral friends don't wake up Patrick Willie brains house War worming the getaway and Trident trouble plus behind the scenes the art of SpongeBob SquarePants and burus episode the loud from the loudhouse tricked this is from 2018 so a 2-year Gap and um yes it is 85 minutes long there's the disc that's it folks that's all of the episodic SpongeBob DVDs I own I know I'm missing one I'm missing SpongeBob on tour and I'm missing the little two episode packs from 2008 and the McDonald's Happy Meal one I'll show the McDonald's Happy Meal one in u the next part which will be the movies and box sets um so yeah stay tuned for that on this
