firsthand the dream that god had put in his heart fulfilled [Music] in october 2017 reinhard bakke shared his farewell message to 1.7 million people over five days in lugus nigeria and i can honestly say that that we have seen the glory of god in the power of god shaking nation known for his massive crusades in africa reinhardt has inspired 77 million people to make decisions for christ for the last 35 years in his book are we flammable or fire proof reinhard refreshes our thinking on the person of the holy spirit and shares keys to moving a supernatural power and gifts [Music] there's nobody in the world who has won as many to the lord as our dear friend reinhard bonke he's spoken front face to face with millions and reinhardt i understand it's about 77 million who recorded do you have recorded salvation for that many or is it more than that i know it's now 77 million it's a 77 yeah yes yes my successor is daniel kolenda yeah and he has been busy already the last nine years more or less on his own or i should say on his own and he has brought 20 million to the lord in this period well now you actually you have little receipts with their names and addresses these are recorded decisions yeah i mean this is provable yeah well in your life you had i mean it was must have been tearful for you to it was your last crusade in africa and you told everybody goodbye why'd you stop well i had a great desire to make sure that when i can no more do these crusades you know i uh i'm i'm 10 years younger than you you're just a kid [Laughter] so i had some health challenges in my life of late and so um when we have in one years we had you know or in one week actually 3.4 million people record their decision for jesus and i would then have to to leave it for whatever reason it would just fall to zero yeah so i had already for more than 10 years this desire i don't want it to fall i want it to go to to just seamlessly continue and rise amen because the world is so big and and god found uh gave me daniel kolenda and i'm very very happy well i'm happy for you well and i i know we all will miss those wonderful crusades you you you're in nigeria you had uh would you have three or four million people under tennis and one christian it's uh it's uh this the 3.4 million people got saved over five days over five three four five four more million over five days but the last day it was in one service over one million people got saved and completed the decision card so you know that gave me faith for the rest of the world sure if jesus can save a million in a meeting less it will take less than one year to get america saved amen all right you it's just amazing though when the power of the holy spirit came down the first time how did you know that the anointing of the lord was there well my faith was tried you know i i was i was not able to ask anybody how do you organize a crusade what must i do i went to one of the bible college principles when i was that young and i said why are so few people getting saved why why why he said to me we must wait till revival comes i said revival yes we are praying hundreds of years for revival and in the meantime millions and millions get lost this cannot be right yes and then i discovered no revival comes if we don't preach the word of god yes under the anointing of the holy spirit and that's the secret it's a secret of the well you know you've written a book i might add i want to hold up it's called are we flammable or fireproof you were in a meeting and uh there's a whole lot of people just praising god and being anointed by the holy spirit and there were four or five who were just you know like dead yes and uh you said they were like asbestos in the middle of a fire the lord talked to me yeah i said lord what are these people they just look yeah you know no no no no fire at all yeah and the lord said to me these are asbestos christians they are fire proof i don't want to be fire proof well fire proof the holy spirit just can't touch them is that the idea that's a pity that's a pity you know what came to me when if the church in general uh rejects the holy spirit uh the holy spirit is homeless oh he's homeless yes likely like the dove on noah's ark could not find a place to rest yes and had to return the holy spirit is homeless if he cannot find our bodies to be his temples and his residential address on earth we need the great commission and we have the holy spirit if we have only the great commission and or only the holy spirit we have power without purpose or purpose without power it is a package deal and that is what god honors well how does somebody receive that power i mean somebody just it's not just just going to happen you've got to ask for it don't you it's the baptism with the holy spirit there is there is no alternative there is no alternative you shall receive power after that the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses acts 1 8 and it was fulfilled you know pentecost was in acts chapter 2 and the rest of the book shows up shows us what happened as a result and if we preach what the apostles preached we have the results the apostles had well when you were in africa there were some meetings tell us about some of the way the power of the holy spirit came in among you what happened physically to the people wow i i that was at the beginning i think that would be the right story to tell yeah it was at the beginning you know when i was not quite sure uh should i should i not pray for the sick and like others you see uh it i evolved i had to unlearn what i had learned in germany and the lord started to teach me afresh and and i was preaching with an interpreter and suddenly the power of god fell in my interpreter fell down and cried tears and i knew it was the holy spirit and then suddenly i heard his voice speaking in my heart he said my word in your mouth is just as powerful as my word in my mouth oh i said wow it's the word of god coming through mouths the holy spirit gives us a terrence and he had recovered i could continue to preach and then the holy spirit spoke to me and said pray for the totally blind and the devil came whispering yeah and said what if nothing happens see all right and and i said devil if nothing happens that is not the point right now the point is that i obey the holy spirit yes i continued preaching and then i started i said i want to totally blind people get up and they got up i said in a moment you're going to see reinhardt bonkey with your blind eyes and i shouted in the name of jesus blind eyes open and suddenly put an echo from the crowd i can see i can see and i learned in that meeting that the holy spirit is a healing spirit yes you see when he when one gift is working they are all active and all miracles kind of miracles happen there was a mother at the at the end of that auditorium she had a little baby with twisted links they look to me as twisted as spaghetti and she held him she couldn't come forward so they passed that baby forward you know over the heads of the people and i stood here on the platform and then it landed in my arms and i forgot to pray suddenly that little body began to vibrate and vibrate and vibrate i said oh it's the power of god may the lord forgive me i dropped that child but he landed on his feet and started to run and then i said oh what a glory he shed on our way when we trust in the lord and there's nothing impossible and this book if i may say sorry this book is actually my legacy all right it i i i must say that it is a summary of all the key happenings in the in the school of the holy spirit not so much stories but real meat that that will give others a shortcut i didn't have a shortcut yeah i i was trial and error until we got the pattern that really worked and i believe those who read that book they will be able to put their feet into my footsteps and we are uh we arrive at the
