My Interface & Essential PvP addons for WoTLK classic - Plate Buffs, ShadowedUI, TidyPlates, Cheese

hello guys today we're gonna talk about my add-ons once again because some of you really like the new look i will upload a file with the exact look of interface showed in this video which will be in description down below so you don't have to make adjustments by yourself also i will go through all of pvp add-ons i'm using while making the videos with some basic explanation for each of them so let's start with the biggest change i made on my interface in last couple of months it's a switch from x pearl to a shadow unit frame by typing slash surf you can open add-on settings this maybe looks like there is a million different options but they are mainly the same settings for each unit and it's easy to use here is a lock frame option which allows you to move frames around and that's how i move player and target frames closer to the middle of screen which allow you to track everything much easier in general settings second tab are the color step you can change the color of mana or health energy class colors and much more so for example you can color your money in pink if you are an lgbt supporter who knows [Music] under general settings we got enable units tab as name itself tells us we use this tab to enable or disable units main purpose of this is to disable for example target of target of target party targets or even focus target if you don't need that in battlegrounds that could be a lot of units on screen this tab is made for specific configuration of each unit separately to make them look how you want there are a couple of tabs here like general frame bars and auras general doesn't have anything important but in frame tab you can adjust a height and width of frame which have a huge impact on your user interface [Music] in bar segment you have some settings like enabling or disabling mana or hp or choosing the color of health bar to show in class color or in green like real hp [Music] and here is the most important setting from this tab and it's enabling the cast bar below the frame with different options and adjustments with size and text [Music] here comes the one of my favorite tabs with auras here you can enable or disable buffs in debuffs adjust their size and their place on frame i use this setting to separate my buffs and debuffs my debuffs are on left side of frame and my buffs are below the frame in just one row because i don't really want to have half screen covered with buffs on battlegrounds i separated not only my babson debuffs but the enemies too and i can clearly see everything this is how it looks like on enemies and on my frame there is also an option to make your debuffs larger so you can track some cooldowns like hypothermia or time between paladin wings and divine shield much more easily i switched now to party frame just to show you the buffs i made for my partner in arena by the way i'm able to completely hide apart in a raid with more than 6 people which is in this case in every battleground this 7 has a couple of other features too which i don't use and i honestly don't know what they do but i don't feel they are much important so we move on to another atom called tidy plates with a thread plate skin this is how normal tidy plates look like and that's how my plates used to look before upgrade [Music] i downloaded the skin and this is how blades look now for me much more modern and somehow nice and clean there are some settings about class icon health text health percent and some more when i showed you enemy plates let's talk now about buffs and debuffs that are above these plates this is the most important pvp addon and it's called played paths it's been two years since my first video about titans and people are still asking for name of this addon in comments so i hope new people will see this video and we will solve it the mystery behind the setup it's almost impossible to play pvp without this saturn you choke everything you need in the middle of screen we can adjust size of each buff or deep up about enemy heads enemy polling cooldowns will always have priority in size because you need to react on them in time however there is a problem when some spells won't show about enemy heads and they are very important for example warrior spell reflection or hunter's deterrence and some of you ask me how to make it work well there is a tab in add-on settings called specific spells where we see a full list of current spells option to add a new spell and where you can also adjust the size of each ability from small to extra large so how do we add a new spell we go up and we type the name of the spell for example spell reflection then we click add spell and then we scroll find it and adjust its size by default it's size 24 which is small we want the big spell reflections so we adjust it to 40 to 50s same way we add other abilities too and that's everything you need to know about this saturn so we move on on proc's tracking atom called cheese i've been asked for this setting a lot of times too it's track procs from talents every time you see something in the middle of my screen around character it's cheese added cheese tracks eastern spells instant paladin heals clear casting state druid predatory strikes fingers for frost and much much more and then doesn't have any settings so all you have to do is to download the edit very simple and very effective lose control is added that makes it easy to see the duration of crowd control spells by displaying them in dedicated icon on screen you can move this icon by clicking unlock button whenever you want and you can adjust its size it is very effective and easy to use if you set the setting by its default settings in the middle of screen you just can't miss any cc on you which helps you to react and tricking much faster as we mentioned reactions there is one more add-on that will help you a lot with it addon is called sound alerter there is a voice that alerts you about enemy cooldowns being used or when your partner in your arena gets zapped hexed interrupted and more sound is always easier way to track things than visually so this addon is a masterpiece besides sounds the results are chat alerts about same things which you can change in add-on settings and enable or disable certain spells to be shown or not so let's hear how it sounds and how it looks the turns down you can change these alerts in interface atoms sound alerter spells chat alerts people usually just download the addon and let all these spells checked and they end up getting muted by spawns because nearby rogues are entering stealth and it also pisses me off when i see 10 same messages in chat probably some of them would disable this if they knew it exists lifestyle wasn't about interface but just pvp this one affects the look of your ui with changes it brings on casting bars so we talk about quiet setup with this add-on we change the position size fonts of our casting bars basic attack swings and enemy casting bars we open add-on settings by typing slash quartz on general tab you will see toggle bar lock which allows you to move casting bars wherever you wish you can see the position that i made and i got used to them if you don't like it you can move them around i set my focus bar just above focus frame when we set the position of bars there are unique settings for each of these bars separately so you can make changes for each and make some bigger or smaller set different text styles size of text and some other minor settings i won't show how to make a settings for target in focus since it's the same thing we move on a basic attack swing option which some guys asked me about too this thing is important for melee classes to track their hits you can disable it if you wish and since i had a few questions about next addon we'll mention it it's cool down pulls edit there is not much to talk about this one it flashes the icon of ability in the middle of screen whenever it becomes usable again there are some settings by typing slash dcp to adjust the size fade in fade out time opacity position of ability and down we have cooldown to ignore option if you want to block some cooldowns you don't care about that's everything i use for pvp at the moment and these are the add-ons that affect my user interface look i think there are more or less add-ons that are essential for pvp i'll now
