this video wanted to share my African art collection is growing I think the last time I shared it was probably two years ago and I've definitely collected more art since traveling to Africa so just want to share it with you let you know where I got let you know share with you what I purchased what I have where I got it from you know and inspire you guys to buy African art collect African art and all that good stuff so this right here I got this piece on Goree island in the car synagogue it's just an abstract painting you see the African the continent of Africa right there in the middle this right here is a a Dogon Kanaga mask I got this and I was in Dogon country a couple years back this right here is another abstract African piece I got from Goree island in the car cinema outside of the car Goree island is where this lei forts were sort of slaves once they were kidnapped they were held at gory before they were sent to the new world of the Americas this is another dogon mask this right here is a septembe mask if you want to learn more about the different dogon mask and what they represent I actually did a video when I was in Dogon country and they explained it but each max was this right here this piece I got in the car in Senegal by artists done by artist named che back 2013 maybe or 2014 mm no actually 2015 or not this piece this right here this is actually by a friend of mine named sharika mati she did this for me back in a way actually calls me for sale and then this right here the same artist Shay he did this one as well back in 2015 actually meta meta meta meta Art Expo in the car suit of all who was funny how I met him at his art Expo I was supposed to go back to Tanzania and climb Kilimanjaro but I missed my flight like idiot so instead I end up just going back to synagogue synagogue my favorite place my favorite city favorite well favorite country and city in Africa so you know if I will let me go back to the car and buddy of mine said there's an art festival going are you sure we should go so we went met him there and bought a couple pieces from this is another act track piece from Goree island I got this from Shea at that Art Expo in 2015 this right here SiC amadou bamba got this piece in 2014 in Dakar Senegal when I was there if you don't know should check amadou bamba these pretty much is either st. in Senegal learn more about my fact I not there this is a Zulu shield I got this Lucia in Durban and kwazulu-natal back in 2013 I believe that's a dog on door got this in Mali in Dogon country and it needs these lights right here these lamps now bite these off of ebay actually I collect these I have four of them and then this right here this is a small Dogon statue bronze statue like that this is another piece by the artist che got this in from the same artists that did the majority of the art of my house back in 2015 in the car see here and this is another piece by che and it needs some masks let's see here again like I said I collect these lamps off of ebay is Macumba mask I got in South Africa at the airport in Joburg I did a lady friend of mine bought this one for me I told her I loved about Cooper tribe she's from Congo so she bought this bike ubermass for me as well over here another piece by shade is it this one for me as well and then here we go this is a benign statue I got this this is one of the masquerade dancers about this when I was in Benin and we defer to voodoo festival back in a just this past year and I got this few I don't know what this is but I bought this piece back in a when I think 2011 when I first went down for good odds at Z bar I don't know it represents anybody knows please let me know and it issues right here this is the Queen of Sheba Makita got this done back in like 2011 the same well with this one too so you know the African art collection is definitely growing I want to be like Eric Edwards he has like the biggest African art collection he's based out of New York in his house so mine is growing is going to continue to grow by African art is beautiful so please continue to support African art if you are gr if you're not please support by African art is the best art on the planet and then forgot about this piece right here I got this piece in Mali right outside of Dogon country it's a full lining woman but this is probably back in 2000 and it wasn't done well country 2015 maybe so I saw it at this hotel and I was not as bed-and-breakfast I was standing outside the Dogon country that's what I have to have it and so we got it added it to the collection so
