what's up guys and welcome to today's video this video is not like my usual videos it's got absolutely nothing to do with training and nutrition but it's more other video where I'm sharing my experience of hair loss over the years with you guys which I'm sure many of you can relate to as it's quite a common thing I'm going to talk to you a little bit about what you can do if you are facing some of the issues which I have in the past and I'm also gonna take you through a full hair transplant procedure which I've just gone through now before we get into the thick of this video I'm just gonna share with you my experience of hair loss over the past 10 years in my late teens early 20s didn't bleed out that much hair was relatively thick I could do whatever the hell I wanted to were there I used to straighten out to do all kinds of crazy stuff and it was fine but I was kind of prepared for hair loss to occur because every male in my family had lost hair my dad had lost it very early on us for pictures when he graduated when he was 21 22 same thing when my brother who's two years younger than me and he lost it pretty quickly to the point where I just had to shave off and he got to the point where I did know it was quite a bit of thinning you know the stuff which I was doing with my hair previously in terms of styling it wasn't really working out it was kind of like quite thin and wiry you know if I was walking outside and a gentle breeze would come across my head it would completely waft everything over to one side exposing the bald spots leaving me slightly embarrassed whilst I put everything back in place hoping that no one around me had seen the truth of what my hair situation was really like so what I did it was 2017 you know I've kind of been bracing myself for this I thought you know why it's time to shave that off so here we are same farewell to the hair to the bush it's the pubes doing absolutely nothing in Thailand was busted I'm not gonna lie I was a little bit depressed after the week after especially I was like this is it this is how I'm gonna be you know the rest of my life and although you know obviously I would have preferred to have had the hair I accepted it and I got all of my life and what I actually did I let it grow back a little bit more because my barber was like well he still got quite thin hair and it's off your head just let it grow so it didn't let it grow for a bit did what I could in terms of a fade and everything and he did look alright in fact quite a lot of people actually thought I'd had a transplant but I hadn't there was a few little tricks forms of witchcraft which were being involved however if I'm being honest I did use things like topic and this 3d hair fiber which actually gave it a thicker appearance right so check this out folks I'm going to show you some trickery which I've incorporated over the past few months to deceive people the truth of what was occurring at the back of my head you might be able to see in a moment it's not looking too bad to be honest it looks alright well send me alright and that is because of this powder right here the 3d 3d hair this is not a sponsored post but they've been this is a very cheap solution to the issues which you might have been having there were a few embarrassing moments those included either go into the barber with it on and then the barber cut in your end just having black crap all over the hands and you know machinery and they're like oh oh okay yeah this guy's tried to cover up the fact these bulb there's other scenarios where it's been raining outside in a kind of like you know it just drips off a little bit and smudges you know even to the point where it starts come down from your head which is also quite embarrassing and think the worst one as well is you know there's been a few times where I've been just like hanging out with a chick you know just have like your lovely lady next to me talking to her you know just relaxing and then she'll just start rubbing a hand through my hair and I'm just like you do not you do not want to be doing that and I kind of sit there and I'm just like you know just moving myself away from a hand or just grabbing a hand to move it away from my head because she keeps doing that her hand is gonna be black and I'm gonna be very white at the back so that happened more than once and it was you know a little bit awkward so it left me with two options either I just fully shave it off and get on with it again or I look into getting a hair transplant so like anybody else who is dealing with hair loss you know you do your research try and figure out what can I do in order to regrow hair what can I do to keep it you know I've done my research and you know there is no proven cure for hair loss which i think is a bit ridiculous considering you know we're sending all these things up to space it was somewhat craziest technology you know even like artificial intelligences around the corner yet we still haven't figured out how to regrow hair just doesn't make any sense to me but anyway there are a few things out there on the market which you can potentially use to maintain your level of hair but again it really depends upon the individual cuz everyone reacts differently to different forms of medication you notice things like propecia or finasteride it was the same thing similar thing anyway you've got regain Rogaine which is like a a shampoo which you must Sarge into your hair you got PRP which is where you take your own blood put in a centrifuge and inject into scalp trying to stimulate growth and obviously you've got things like they're you know you get like a tattoo where you have like the the outline of your hair tattooed on so there's all these different options which I looked into but you know for me I wanted to have a look into the hair transplant procedure but first of all the most important thing you need to do is actually have a consultation with someone because something which is quite interesting which I realized after my first consultation was that it's not suitable for everyone I reckon about 10 to 15 percent of clients at wardo or suit and for me the biggest criteria is I persuade young men on the 13 surgical process what I would like is from our end for them to try and do something to preserve the existing what happens is one of the things that we have noticed with with implemented technology the cost one behind every chance yes you don't want to create a situation where you have a thick mop at the front and so the ages heat family is heated when I had the consultation I was a good candidate for which you know it kind of encouraged me to do it even more so not to Lamar for it to bother you but also the sufficient amount as a back for us to yeah so you have people like athlean-x you just get his mark and out genres muscles they've got people like me who's getting people with markup and wrongly picking hairline I'd like to do is do a new hand line they're trying to consolidate that I did notice the the left side is a little bit nobody seemed empty first of all how long kind of work out for it's a question how long until I can work out again it's not exercising I think probably an easier option would be to analyze how long the redness loss okay and now what we're trying to do is we are obviously opening up your pose sliding the hair back in two things happen when you sweat what we don't want is for the poor to seep in cause any inflammation infections unlikely but prolonged inflammation or ideal either and secondly gym equipment is something full of books so I my advice would be two weeks there's a lot of people who who say oh you know she gives Turkey okay get it done in Turkey it's cheap you know it's got a bit of a reputation there for being the place to be if you want to get a hair transplant done and to be fair you know there's some good clinics out there not I've been there but I did a little bit research there are good clinics you are gonna get it cheaper then you know if you were to get it done in London but the big thing about when you get a hair transplant done is it really is down to the surgeon who is doing the procedure itself okay if I'm getting something like this done on my hairline which is very important to me which a lot of people are gonna see I want it to be done by the best of the best okay and I don't care if it does cost me a lot of money you know it's like anything in life you get we pay for okay so I wanted to find somebody who knows what they're doing okay somebody who has an experience in the game someone you've been doing if 8 to 10 years someone who has been very consistent with delivering results and somebody who has you know a long list of testimonials which I could look at and you know get some confidence from so here we are bright and early it's 8 o'clock in the morning day 1 of the procedure I'm on Harley Street just outside of 98 the private clinic I don't really know what to say I feel a mixture of feelings I'm excited a little bit nervous I don't really know what to expect I lost some had any kind of surgery was like uneven no no I said so yeah I'm looking forward to just getting it over and done with rice and get onto the road of recovery the procedure itself had three straightforward it was done over a two day period because of the number of extractions which did actually need to be made first things first had the head shaved so weird I didn't know hey what right so this is me fully shaved head 360 degree view again I hope they know I'm looking in the mirror and like if I had to rock this hairstyle obviously I just have to rough it but helps helps birth so yeah this is probably the last time you see my hair like this it's probably a little pretty messed up in a couple hours time took some drugs I don't get fully drugged up lastly I think what these are until countries eight of those what's the maximum of these you could take you longer how many fingers make that's why and then once I was all there wait for the drugs kick in then I would just lie back so now this part of the procedure is me chilling out look like the drugs do that business and then they're gonna flip me over and sir jabbing me with needles to numb the area and then off we go the doctor would then make a number of different incisions of needle with a local anesthetic into basically numb the area which he was gonna be either extracting or inserting the follicles into which wasn't that Pleasant but to be honest you know saying that I'm not a fan of needles because I was lying down and I couldn't see anything I wasn't really wasn't that bothered at all and you kind of just got used to you know little pain which actually did take place and then after that you couldn't really feel anything so it was just you know what it was a long process because obviously each follicle needed to be taken out individually but you know I was keeping myself busy I was listening to podcast and I was you know chatting to the to the team whilst the procedure was being done so I was fully awake for all of it snoozing off every now and then had a lunch break throughout half an hour and then went back in and the more injections to the front the air and the doctor carried on doing his thing right so day one is officially complete wasn't too bad to be fair I mean I kind of just feel a bit drained and there is a sort of stinging on the top of my head you just have a quick look you can see the area we've got the side we've got the back this is where all the hair was taken from so what I've been told to do every hour is to apply salt water to my head just spray on my head it's basically just to prevent my scalp from scabbit over because we do not want one big scab on my head so I guess I just spray myself like I'm a flower the second day was very much the same but because I kind of knew what to expect I was fully prepared for also I feel like I enjoyed it a lot more a lot more chilled out you know I was chatting away talking to the team you know dozing off every now and then listening to podcasts and then before you know it was all it was all done so we have finished day two it is complete I'll show you a little so basically they just thickened up the hairline area and also did a log work on the crown did some more extraction or we blew that because I'm quite a lot of drugs today good news is it's all done and there's no swelling I do feel like my my head is just like throbbing a little bit so yeah all done and dusted I'm gonna keep you posted over the next few days so it's now four days after the procedure everything is gone swimmingly no issues whatsoever I've now stopped spraying myself I'm just gonna be applying shampoo morning evening help describing kind of come off it does feel nice to touch my head again and yeah it's been weird few days I'm not gonna lie because obviously I'm quite active I'm so like to go out and exercise haven't really been able to do that I've been a bit of a hermit kind of just stayed indoors and obviously with the fact I have to spray my head every 30 minutes kind of restricts you with what kind of things you can be doing and obviously you can't sweat so not being able to go to the gym has been a big thing for me but you know it's just one of those things it's worth it I've been busy I've been doing work so that's something you need to bear in mind if you get this procedure done and they have given me you know a nice little manual to help guide you through the post-op process and this is something quite interesting which I thought I'd share with you please note that is normal for some or all the transplanted hairs to fall hour after the first 3 to 6 weeks hair implant shedding and shock loss is part of the recovery these are only the hair shafts while the actual hair follicles remain intact with the scalp please do not expect to see your full 100% growth before the end of the nine month and sometimes full 12-month period so that's interesting I'm gonna continue to take finasteride I'm gonna have to do another video on discussing this my thoughts on it it has been a month since I've been taking the medication one pill daily and so far no side effects I was very kind of hesitant about taking finasteride because I did a little bit of research on it like I would do with anything I'm putting into my body and there was some potentially very scary side effects you know getting depressed having a foggy head and the worrying ones were loss of sex drive not being able to get a erection and not really busting very large loads so obviously I was very put off by that but I did feel like a lot of it was quite sort of scare mongering even though it's been one month so far everything's been good you know no real side-effects I'm happy you know I'm looking in the mirror I feel good I'm energetic my mind is clear I'm frisky I'm supplying that good D I'm addressing women and I'm hard and I'm you know unleashing some heavy loads so everything is fine but you know it's a medication which different people will respond in different ways to obviously so you know some people are gonna have some negative side effects other people won't see any side effects whatsoever but I will like I said I'm gonna keep you posted I'm not really gonna know how it's affected me unless I've been taking consistently for six months 12 months and then I can I can share my story with you and I didn't want to finish this video with a little bit of advice to you guys you know guys who are losing their hair right it's not pleasant obviously it's a massive mind [ __ ] and you know one of the things which I recommend you do is actually just shave your head okay because first of all you never know you might actually like it okay bit of a shock at first we may get used to it you might like it if you combine it with the fact of you know exercising eating healthy you know maybe even getting a little bit of a cheat and you might look good okay I don't mind my head being shaved in fact I will continue to have my hair short but I would just obviously like the crown to be covered and for the hairline to be a little bit further forward it was one of the main reasons why I wanted this procedure done I'm not gonna grow it out and start styling it again especially with what I do for a living and one thing which I know is when I shaved my head it doesn't affect my life massively you know I still do my day to day things people get used to it you know obviously people at first play oh my god was your hair gone and then you know people are just used to you not having hair and the thing is as well with the ladies you know it did not stop me getting ladies at all you know if anything it just kind of made me want to improve my chat game up even more you know because I thought I thought it was gonna affect my success rate with the girls but it doesn't as long as you are confident you have a decent personality and you can make woman laugh they're gonna like you and guess what if you can make other people laugh and that's just an added bonus if you have the ability to take a joke and to actually make fun of yourself it'll usually work out in your favor and it only shows that you're confident and that you're comfortable in your own skin this is my journey so far obviously I want to keep you guys posted with how things are gonna look you know a couple months time six months time twelve months time and even dr. Reddy was saying himself that you know sometimes the results are so good that you kind of get addicted to it and you want to go back and you know have Morden so I I'm hoping this will be enough to give me the results which I want and I'm gonna be happy with it big shout out to the private clinic and dr. Reddy for working his magic very much appreciated I can't thank them enough if you want more info on what they offer just check the link in the description and go visit their website thanks for watching guys don't forget to subscribe I'll see you soon
