My Girlfriend tries to Make a Beat from scratch (without my help)

all right so what is going on guys welcome back to another video here I am Kyle beets in my studio so for those of you guys who have been following the channel I've done a bunch of making a beet with my girlfriend videos the first one she didn't do anything it was a prank the second and third one she made like the first couple notes and then I just finished the beat so today to close out this four-part series vanessa is going to try to make the entire beat today from starting to finish I don't know how this is gonna go but hopefully it goes well so with that being said let's get into the video if you haven't subscribed make sure you subscribe and drop a like and let's get it my mouths watering I'm gonna have Vanessa make a beet from start to finish without my help without my physical help maybe I'll give you some advice and like and like open up plugins and stuff and we're gonna see how good of a beat she can make by rolling [Music] all right so what do I do go ahead and make a beat so you can go through and pick sounds there's a sound you like the sound you like you can click it and drag it into the into there into where the kick thing and say yeah I'll let you kick so how do I make like a fun poppy be like a dance done so go to the BPM at the top uh drag it up to 120 no no click the actual number yeah no click and hold it 120 yeah click the metronome right there this thing above that yeah I know please click play okay and you can also just hit space for play so that's your tempo those are all claps oh all right so I drag this into the clap to worry yeah where it doesn't really matter you want something like happy and clean and now you could pick - is this not happy no it is but you should pick - you should put that one you just put another okay I like this one I was pretty lean like I know what I'm talking about and where do I drag this one just just get over the clappers in there how press spacebar to start playing you wanna try to play something so here just try to click them in so you can just click just press somewhere yeah no okay I like this butter I think you can like how do I delete it if I don't want it right-click could I would start at the beginning you know call here yeah the keyboard you know I keep all right how many clicks do I do until I get to the do so you just keep repeating that yep not click here click on the sphere yeah so so you make a melody right now so you gonna make it a counter melody off of it okay like you have a piano right now what kind of other sound do you want off of it like look at look at the list like yeah bells Oh strings human voices do you like that we can whack do like Morgan here go to this list click here click click click yeah and just see what it sounds like [Music] use that you can see the piano notes they're not you're on this this other sound that you chose so you can click in other notes Zoe [Music] keep adding more yeah definitely need to repeat it at least see how it's on d tried doing the too much help oh yeah well I need some guidance I'm just I'm literally going from 0 right now like nothing try doing two different notes here looking the same like tempo see hug [Music] okay one more lick here right here [Music] that's very good I like it so I'll show you I'll show you how to repeat it right click on a3 and drag it all the way over to the right of the left I mean all the way to the end that yeah and then hit control and then be control to be boom now you can just double click on yeah to get rid of it hi I want to play it no one here not that bad alrighty then she likes me for me not because what do you want to start with this is kick why you asked me I have no idea yes I wanna start with a kick Wow let's do the clap sometimes I get it in sometimes I don't know not right [Music] do this this is like the hyah oh sorry I'm not listening alright here's a high up do you like that yeah is it like so basic like that yeah I like I kinda had a feeling you were sure I didn't look up wait is this like super lame I think it's good well the missing ones kinda make it sound better I'll pull it up so people can see the kick let's get some like yes [Music] oh I love my dance beat that's pretty good first attempt every day may be like [Music] oh you recorded like I think this is so good alright we got one more sound add this sound and then we're done then we go let's do it and then I made the beat yeah unless you want to add like an 808 I don't know that would be pretty complicated no it's kind of like another melody alright let's just do this and listen to it [Music] stop making fun of me I kind of like that this is no kick we'll do that all right so we got a countdown so it'll be the second it goes oh I can't do it the second time you can't if you want do you wanna do the second time so so when it goes bah bah but I just press it we'll do it the second time [Music] all right honestly honestly I was expecting way worse very impressed meet you I think it's from all the videos that you watch so you just know like the timing of everything so consciously probably I guess but all right yo Nessa this crazy that's good all right so I'm gonna make I'm making a tag right now for Vanessa she's recording something crazy this crazy Nessa this creek onesa this crazy I did like crazy to mine Oh Nessa this crazy onesa this crazy old Nessa this crazy onesa this crazy onesa this crazy Nessa this crazy bone Nessa this crazy onesa onesa this crazy y'all Nessa this wow this is so good yeah Wow I'm gonna do this too just to like make it cool just to have it drop to it you know I mean yeah just do just the melodies yeah I want you guys to rate Vanessa P in the comments of one to ten oh I'll eat a rate this beat in the comments I'm gonna let you guys hear it right now as is right now crazy thank you guys so much for watching this video what did you guys think of the beat write it in the comments until the next one see you guys in the next one P while I spend be stuck inside the studio inside don't hate it maybe I should get right maybe you should turn left maybe you should decide many times the boss instead of getting brought because people you don't like and don't even know turning up walking around that's fine Oh my driver 2010 Toyota Corolla when I get all that maybe I'll get something a little dope made six Vegas in sweatpants do Mondays [Music]
