you're brand new here make sure you subscribe hit the bell as well today's video I thought I would kind of like switch it up again a little bit I like switching it up like keeping you guys on your toes so today's video I wanted to make a beat from start to finish like I'm gonna barely edit this if at all I want to try just leave the camera running have my screen recording and leave the camera running and literally show the entire process on the time I open my eye be like lay it out everything I think it would just be a cool thing the show because it will show a lot of steps that don't get shown in videos or a lot of the process behind what I do I want to just make this kind of like you're here with me in the studio with me and and give you as close to that experience as possible I guess this is just gonna be I'm gonna make a beat from start to finish zero plan in my head nothing's loaded no time limit however long it takes if I'm texting on my phone I'm gonna show that like I don't know maybe I'll edit that out but I literally want to show everything I'm gonna have little time stamps below down in the comments as well for the parts that I think are excited after I watched through this I'm gonna put a little timestamps if you want to click around maybe the part where I a date awaits feel free to add in the comments to any parts that maybe I missed that we're exciting that you really liked if you just write the time down people can click on it and check it out but yeah that's literally what I'm gonna do today I think it'll be a good way for a lot of you to be able to learn little things that maybe I haven't shown you'll be able to pick up a lot of stuff with my process and everything drop alike in the video for me thank you guys for all the support let's get way through as much as possible my normal if making beats more just like zoning out and just listening looping things over and over and over so if you do have any questions on what's going on I'll try a dark melody today I never know if it's gonna be super happy or dark but I guess we're done in there quick quantize the way I have it I have key skip in on the sphere you can use them together new song recently I was thinking about it the other day I was like man I really liked that beat that was in there shoutout to six shot to the number 6 IX if you watched my videos for some reason come hop in the podcast but I'm not his beats are just so they're like dark but they're also super hard I don't know it's just like I really like the beats his beat selection I mean it's mostly from 6 and those producers but um that's one thing right now my head something like that it's like that 140 bpm [Music] but on the whip one has that karma really this whip it away for some reason [Music] distortion no little fruity fast distortion anyway it's a little dirty for my for my beat right now and it shift it up we'll go three jerks [Music] there you go turns out these turn these down hey I'm [Music] [Music] and you double it up anyway parents usually the 808 pattern sometimes make the loop a little more interesting you know that makes sense so I shouldn't double everything right now do right there [Music] a lot of the times when I initially do my 808 it's more or less just to get the idea out and like most of the time I'm gonna go back into them and fix them with like clicking and stuff like it's very rare that I perfectly lay out an 808 in the in the video that's a new one the toe date away are the toes anyway a tone hi-hat [Music] I really want to add some kicks in here hit hit right on beat this one it's kind of a little bit off the beat a little gap right here so what I did was just selecting the none tool right here select all control a and just shift shift and then just hit the arrow key to the right got him a little bit offbeat so it's a little bit behind the beat and let the kit let's the kicking a little bit harder but it's not really for mixing purposes for the sound the style the sound of that there's all my lair with a clap [Music] [Music] [Music] check it there I'm really trying to get that logic type of [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I want to try bringing some vocal stuff here like use it as a box from exhale I'm gonna use this thing as a box and some hot little percussion noises and stuff to fill in the rest of the beat I guess because like the drums and stuff it's it's nice it works but I need some a little bit more in there not too much but a little bit more a little bit more excitement in there for the drums I think but as you can see that little section right there is where it all kind of came together once I got the vocals kind of EQ down to two where they sounded cooler put a little bit of growth speed on there to kind of like you almost feel the rhythm or I guess like you can feel the 145 BPM right there a little bit more when the Grouse B is on it could it's like clicking every whatever and then with the hi-hat and drop that that kind of brought everything together by by figuring out how I want to do the vocals [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh well it all comes together man that is the beauty of all this like that's the beauty of you sitting behind the camera with two subscribers no one's following you nobody with your and then you're just in the studio by yourself and the moment where everything starts to come together and you and maybe you get a little bit better or whatever that moment is is where the word that passion is like that moment is better than every subscriber I've ever gotten like every whole you guys my subscriber any amount of money make any amount of beats you sound like this moment is always like you always have anything earlier but like a big part of my whole process is letting things loop over and over I don't know about everyone else but a big part of my process is just looping and just touching things up like that's what makes it be what it was like like since I laid everything out and like made the sounds until now is a huge change and that change sometimes you get it right immediately but most of like that when I was trying to do from the start I guess where you kind of just goes off and just raps over it [Music] [Music] there's it's so hard [Music] [Music] this is hard man [Music] [Music]
