My first time at Gilroy Gardens! A quick walk through and food review

hey what's up guys happy Memorial Day this is Elden with elden's excursions we're over here in Gilroy checking out Gilroy Garden for the first time can't wait to get in there check it out and uh yeah see what's see what it's all about so let's go ahead get in and uh let's have a good day let's go all right so I just bought a membership the premium membership which is $120 which isn't bad it comes with the option of two fast passes or two daytime Park uh tickets uh I optioned with the two fast passes cuz I don't know I'll just end up paying for somebody if they end up coming with me but uh like a family member or something but yeah not not too bad 120 bucks for a whole year actually it's like six months of the year cuz they're not they're not open year round but uh but yeah this is like a thing here membership thing if you want to get contact like email and stuff like that but yep all right let's head inside all right so I just entered holy moly dude this entry reminds me a little bit of uh Avatar Land and Disney World just the little lights and everything the flowers hanging from the uh trees it's pretty cool so yeah like I said this is my first time here this is all new this is freaking awesome it's an hour and a half drive for me from where I live uh in Martinez so yeah it's going to be a couple day trips uh come down here especially when I go see my dad cuz he lives in San Jose so I might have to come by here a little more often now and I do uh when I do Great America as well so oh what they got water Falls in here too that's cool all right yeah we got to do some have a train that goes around the park it's giving me some Disney Vibes right here pretty cool all right yeah this is this place is Big so looks like it goes this way this way and I like the fact that it's like surrounded by trees it's in the forest you wouldn't even guess it's oop sorry you wouldn't even guess it's back here almost ring somebody oh it's this little uh area over here where they put on shows maybe or maybe a place to eat this looks pretty cool looks like some put on some some night shows maybe during the uh summer maybe hard a choke dip it's a it's already CH dip fried what the heck oh man the smell of popcorn you can smell that all right yeah I'm going go around garlic twirl the bananas it's like teacups but you're covered they should have strings of garlic just hanging from the top here going across instead of the uh what is it the uh lights the lanterns from uh Disneyland wow they're spinning pretty quick that is jamming yeah I guess I should have got a map so I can see what I'm getting myself into but uh I kind of just like walking around and exploring myself and then yeah see what I can run into so I don't know oh there is a train oh that's [Music] cool nice that is pretty cool Apple worm it's like a worm that goes in circles around the Apple all right all these smells guys is getting me freaking hungry I'm going grab something eat first place I find it smells really good I'm going to check it out I know they have some $2 special things going on for now for Memorial Day weekend so maybe we try that out and uh see what else they have okay now that I'm walking around this place is huge so I just came up here from the Apple thing and I noticed these cars going by and this is something that Great America has also if you guys don't remember Santa Cruz used to have this as well way back in the day but yeah there old school classic cars that go around on this Trail oh here comes one now it looks exactly like the ones from Great America that's cool little gas station oh there another car what they have different cars I thought they were all the same that is cool all right I definitely got to take a day I I only got to like maybe an hour in here because I had some stuff going on with some friends hanging out with before I came here so uh I definitely going to come up here and take a whole day up here tonight they close at 6:00 I thought they close at 5: which is nice cuz I got an extra hour in here so but uh yeah I'm going to cover what I can and then uh we got we got to get out of here but uh yeah let's continue exploring what is this what you get on a little raft that is probably very calming and relaxing that goes around this little stream here yeah I would like to do I would like to do that not today but definitely definitely in the future oh it's called back Road's Garden okay you know what they need guys they need water guns right here so they go bye they're getting squirt no oh man I'm just love those water guns oh that's cool man like the little blue car that's awesome got a ice cream cone stand here but I'm looking for like some food man man smells good mushroom swings will be back soon so the swing set's not open yet huh man it's perfect day to be at gilw Gardens it is nice out right now oh Monarch Garden that would be cool okay I might we're going to go in there but then look at this it's an octopus wheel I think I don't know panoramic wheel that looks cool all right let's go in the garden holy holy cow this is huge this is huge oh my gosh this is like makes Six Flags look so much smaller dang what is this like a monor rail in the inside the building here no way no way for Christ for crud sakes if you guys follow that guy you guys know what I'm talking about oh looks like there be water in here maybe no that's a oh this where the cars go through that is cool dude no it's the Train the train goes through here that's train tracks stick in the cars but that's still really cool wow dude okay this is awesome I'm loving it here already I will will definitely be back here more often I'm so glad I got a premium pass banana [Music] banana not a lot of butterflies there is a few I can see flying around but not as much as uh Six Flag Six Flags you go in there and you're like getting covered with butterflies but here's uh yeah it's far and few in between but it is nice no way they do have a Montreal that's so dope dude yes we definitely have to ride this that is cool [Music] bye dude this place is really surprising me like for real I was not expecting this I was expecting like a little place I didn't really want to do too much research on it cuz I want to be kind of stunned I guess on or not stunned but like just want to explore it myself but it is pretty cool okay they even have like a roller coaster back here what oh my gosh yes we're going on a roller Co I don't know if we have time today guys but we are coming back and riding this oh my gosh heck yeah dude I am excited see I like how it goes through the trees we definitely got to ride that later oh my gosh I wish had more time I should have made more time yeah yes there will be more future plans here this is cool man look at look how heck a far back what thank you for your service thank you for your service Toy Soldiers okay so this is where the train station's at kind of interesting to see if it has like multiple train stations or if it's just one huh all right so this is the new attraction they just I just uh saw from their Instagram that's the only way I know this uh Lakeside Splash it's like a huge water park back here oh they got food back here I might have to go get some food but it's pretty cool I'm not going to record too much so it's pretty cool we got showers little Cabana Cabanas Cabanas with TVs in them full kid freaking water park over here that's cool man and they have oh have sandals and like bathing suits everything over here for you anyways I Got Loaded fries oh here we go holy moly guys this is the loaded fries this is way better than I had even at Six Flags sorry and and whour cream nacho cheese pulled pork for $14 and a side of beans usually comes with cornbread as well but uh they're add of cornbread so they hooked me up with some curly fries in here as well so oh my God look at that that's huge all right well I was looking for a place to eat and I couldn't help but hear this sound waterfalls this is awesome this is so cool nice place to sit right here on the little curb here nice yeah this is so cool man wow let's go for a walk around all right so looks like you do get a little wet maybe oh wow feel like I'm in Cars [Music] Land W oh my God backside of water oh my God oh my goodness all right the Cave of Wonders Charlie oh wow yeah I got a little wet I think I need my beans as well oh it's a stream that goes all the way down that's cool be nice to see some trout jumping in here huh huh well I didn't get to finish my well I didn't finish my my loaded fries that was a lot of food I want to make sure to eat the beans cuz you know I like baked beans these are really good by the way reminds me of like uh Dukes like baked beans really sweet yeah not bad all right let's continue on I think they're at closed now so we're going to go ahead or make our way towards the exit but yeah see what else we can uh see what else is in here in the park here man this is all really really cool oh my gosh dude there's just so much to see I didn't realize how big this park is it's crazy all right so we got about five minutes till the park closes cheers guys all right so it looks like they have a like a whole other water park back here wow this is pretty cool man pretty cool okay looks like they have another roller coaster back here twister Timber twister somewhere in the distance dang we all have to come back jump on that feel like every theme park has to have a uh Carousel I noticed our fast lane is the same sign as great americaas so this is ran by Cedar if you guys did not know to putting out there it just dawned to me I thought of that okay so there is multiple train stations around the park this is so cool dude jump on a train and land into another part of the park that is cool okay not only do they have a strawberry ride it's called a strawberry split no strawberry sundae but they have a giant banana it's a banana boat that is awesome it's a swinging banana that's cool [Applause] man okay so that's where the Banana Split is at in the strawberry Sunday and I took off this way to went around so that's pretty much the whole park it's not not bad it's not bad definitely want to come back and explore some of the rides but looks like yeah they got a decent Siz water park in the back of the theme park and then uh some fun other roller coasters and whatnot so definitely got to come back check it out and try some other Foods other than the the pole pork fries by the way we pretty good we're pretty good i' definitely get them again but uh it was a lot it was a lot to to eat all right I'm kind of curious what they have in their gift shop let's go uh check it out they really love advertising garlic because Gilroy you guys don't know was known for their Garlic Festival and they're really known for the garlic really period but the family that owns giloy Gardens sold it last year and now it is no longer in Gilroy unfortunately so last year I went and checked it out the new giloy or the new Garlic Festival location and uh it was okay kind of small could be a lot better but the first year not bad oh they have uh Minecraft stuff here oh that's like Styrofoam man that's not soft at all that's soft what's up buddy what's up man how's it going high five yeah avocado avocado no that's like baby bird got to be avocado oh it's an egg yolk inside of an avocado oh that's that sounds good right now I started laugh when I saw this meow Mei me me Mei kitty kitty kitty kitty oh we all know puppuccinos this is pretty cool a little fishing uh uh vest only have pink ones too that is cool dude I was just thinking of Adam a woo moment and then I seen Adam's trucking company uh but one name you'll not see on here ever is my name you'll never see my name on anything has to be custom made very unique name I have definitely oh these are pretty cool I do like that huh how much say price on these huh how much are of these $35 wow and remember you guys get a discount with your season P here as well they have a lot of Hello Kitty stuff in here huh cotton candy oh those are some big big uh Frappuccinos I think we call puppuccinos huh oh frappacino frappacino okay and that's a puppuccino so there looks like there must be another trail that goes around the whole backside here that I definitely need to uh explore not today of course but we will we will So when you buy your membership you got to get in line and this is where you get your card so I do have to fill out the paper that green paper and uh yeah so before you leave the park if you buy membership make sure you jump in line to the side and get your membership all right so after a little revie handling the lady was say I recommend go online I didn't think about it but you go go online go online and you can make your uh membership on there uh it's a lot easier to fill out your information and then come here and all you get a barcode email sent to you and then they scan your barcode and then they take a picture of you and then you get your membership card so yeah anyways guys it was a fun day really cool theme park can't wait to come back and explore more and have more time here um right now my job is full-time at FedEx now I'm going to be working there 5 days a week and right now Mondays and Tuesdays off so I'm am going to try to mix it up a little bit I'm going to talk to him a little bit more maybe I can get a day off on the weekend and a day off during the week that way I can you know get stuff done during the week and go do things on the weekends and make some videos so right now sometimes I get my days off I'll do two videos in one day that way I have some content uh like this one won't be out for a couple days uh this today is actually Memorial Day Monday I still have to edit my Great America video which I worked late last night for FedEx didn't come home till late had to come home chain shower and then run over to uh Napa I was going to go to Bottle Rock with some friends but ended up being there too late and they were there all day and so we ended up just going to uh Downtown Napa and hanging out with uh with them and having some food and drinks and just hanging out and uh that was my day pretty much yesterday but then today I'm going to go help out my dad with his car after this he's got Dotson 240Z I if you guys are fan of those but uh yeah old school classic Nissan Dodson really fun but anyways hope you guys enjoyed the video I'm rambling over here I'll see you guys the next one my name is Elden and
