My First 5 Minute Honest Beauty Face Challenge! Summer Edition | JESSICA ALBA

hi everyone this is jessica alba welcome back to my youtube channel i am going to do something i've never done before the five minute face challenge you have to check out the video to see if i actually did my full summer look in five minutes so this is a five minute face summer edition right i'm really nervous because i've never had the pressure well other than my husband yelling at me and telling me that the kids are waiting in the car don't have my face together yet i'm like just give me five minutes let's see if i can really do my face in five minutes like i claim to three two one okay so i'm going to start with the oh everything matte primer now it's the summer so people can get a little bit oily and i like to start with a primer just to have my tinted moisturizer just last all day and i love this primer because you could actually put it on under your makeup or on top you could also wear it on its own if you just want to have like a nice matte finish to your look primer next is the honest tinted moisturizer i'm gonna shake this baby up to make sure that all the pigments combine nicely and then just do sometimes it takes a minute to get it started two squirts and this color is light i'm usually between light and fair um the shade range is pretty forgiving um i find that i get a little more tan in the summer so i do have you know a nice range of sort of deeper and lighter shades depending on the time of year now i'm just going to go in with a wet sponge and blend away let's see all right three minutes and 10 seconds left okay blending is really okay course you can't mess that one up okay pretty good pretty good all right now i'm gonna go in with a cream foundation now this is great because you can use it as a foundation if you want a more you know finished flawless canvas um it's nice because it gives you good coverage but it doesn't feel really heavy or you can use it just in spots like i'm using now and going in where i would normally go in with a concealer it's sort of like a concealer and a foundation in one and i like that this pigment this is amber it has some nice yellow undertones but it also has some good pinkish pigment so it gives me both which i think i have yellow and pink undertones in my skin color all right that's about as good as we're gonna get cover up that cute blemish not cute at all and that one is what happens when i work out and i don't wash my face first okay there we go all right now cream blush okay so this is cream blush this is the coral peach cream blush and this is really my go-to for the summer it looks nice on so many different skin tones and pigments it really is the perfect pop of color for your cheeks and it just gives you like a really nice youthful flush i also like because you get sweaty and hot in the summer i like to use a cream blush i feel like it's a little more generous if you do get sweaty it's not like you know a powder blush just looks more natural too all right now i'm going to go in with a little brow pencil i'm going to fill it on the ends first and then brush brush brush brush so it looks more like hair and i have pretty full sort of brows in the front so i'm not going to fill it in too much there for myself because i just want it to look a little daytime and easy now i'm going to go in with a eyelash curler quick one and primer i'm just blinking through the lash one from the base so i didn't make it to five minutes but let's let's call this a sixth minute okay now while the primer is sitting i'm going to do the tinted lip balm and fruit punch this is my go-to summer color it just reminds me of summer that nice summer life where you're just like chilling with your friends afternoon cocktail rose on ice you know what i'm talking about smoothie bowls um and then now i'm gonna go in with the mascara and it's important with this mascara to allow the primer to sit for around 30 seconds and that's why i like to do my lip after the primer so i give myself that time and then again i'm just blinking through the wand and what i like about this technique it allows you to get your all of the lashes my friends all of them okay so i got a little bit of mascara on my lid don't you worry i'm just going to twist that off quickly and there you go that is my almost five minute face for summer it was like seven minutes i think whatever seven minute face perfect summer glow it really is nice and light but i still have the sunscreen in the tinted moisturizer which is so nice a nice pop of color on the cheek that looks really natural and that's the coral peach and it's great because this coral again it looks so good on so many different skin tones and it just gives you that nice summer color and then on the lips the fruit punch so nice it's a really sheer but still like nice orangey peachy pink it's super flattering on everyone really and then of course fill in the brows a little bit and the cream foundation and amber i like the yellow undertones i like that it still has a little bit of that pink so it's nice under my eyes and just anywhere i have some blemishes cover that up and then of course i always curl my lashes and then apply the mascara primer first let it sit for 30 seconds and then the mascara and i blink through the wand so that is my summer face let me know what other types of videos you would like me to do my almost
