recently let's get started shall we so I have 10 books to share with you all of them are five-star I will try and Nev links for them description bar below and I have mesh put them in some sort of order which i think is very good although things change with you me don't they say just take them with a pinch of salt so getting started at number 10 I have amberle in adultery heresy desire by amy licensed amy narcissus Catherine of Aragon was in my top books of 2017 this again it's no exception this is the biography of Anne Boleyn and I loved it it was so good what is brilliant is amy licenses writing style and i remember there was this book that tracy vomited which was the private eyes of the tutors now it's all the little nitty-gritty bits and I always think that Amy license can never do that book because all the little nitty gritty bits that I love or the little details she puts them into the books anyway and it's just it's just wonderful I love it so I would highly recommend this as a book on amberlynn for you to get your hands on because it's just awesome the next book at number 9 I have the Chinese shawl by Patricia Whitman I did a book review of this as well I did have a few on am Bloomberg did a book review on this book this is about a woman called Tanis who is beautiful she's adored by men and they fall at her feet women usually a bit jealous of her and usually doing on with her and of course she gets bumped off doesn't she a myth over comes in to save the day this was the first petition Wentworth book that I gave five stars to I thought was amazing and just wonderful and everyone should read Patricia Wentworth because she's so good and she's she needs more people to read her books because she's awesome then I have a Victorian ladies go to fashion and beauty by Mimi Matthews there will be a book review of this book coming to my channel very racing so keep your eyes peeled as you can probably tell I really love this book because I annotated this with so many different sticky notes here there and everywhere I thought it was wonderful it is a on the history of fashion at a Victorian fashion and it's just awesome I off I often get asked about you know which book should you get one like history of fashion the Victorian peered the Georgian appeared this one it's amazing five-star book then I have at number 7 lucky number seven my favorite number la Ronnie branch Mary cheered a life and letters by Sarah Bryson I think I also did a book review of this and on my channel as well this I thought was wonderful it's a biography of Mary cheetah as in him a sister not his daughter but there is very limited source material and Sarah just makes use of every bit of detail that she can and he was just a wonderful read it's like it's like butter it was like fiction it was just wonderful and it's so good so read that one if you're interested in a book on the shooter paired because you'll really like it then I don't have the next one you can imagine it but it is a speeds came from worse by Barah Commons which I also did a book off I will link the book reviews in ascription bar below as well this was semi autobiographical of Barbara's life and it's a really short book but really powerful and its really addictive and the reason why it's one of my favorite books is because it had that all I don't want to finish it feel or but I can't stop reading it feel of that at number five top five now I have stiff upper-lip cheese by P G Wodehouse 2018 was the year I finished jeezum Woodhouse which I was getting about because I love this series so much this book was incredible five stars it's the same old stuff Bertie was has to go off to one of his aunt's house they're his friends are there and his enemies and he gets himself of all sorts of scrapes and geez gets Marvin I love these books fuss is absolutely hilarious I remember I was reading this and then I'd get my phone and I take pictures of like certain quotes and stuff because it's just brilliant and all people need to read this series because you're thank me later then number four I have latter end which is also ash Wentworth mrs. silver this is about a woman called Lois who goes to see this fortune-teller person that says you know you're in danger it's all gonna go wrong so she goes to see Miss silver and guess what she gets bumped off of course she does I thought this book was incredible this is my favorite Patricia wrote worth book to date I'm a bit annoyed the comfort doesn't match the rest of mine my editions but hey hey this was just awesome it's so good the amount miss silver in this book is just wonderful there's so much miss silver and I love miss silver she for me is up there with like poorer and Miss Marple like of the detectives so good and there's so much of her she's like pretty much constantly throughout the book and it's just yes that is what I want I want her there all the time after number three my top three now I have giant days say volumes seven and volume eight I don't think volume six was 2018 although I might be wrong if I'm wrong also funny six giant days is my favorite comic book ever as much as I love superhero comics it can't beat giant days giant days is just incredible it is about three girls Daisy Esther and Susan and their time at university also about their friend slash one of them's boyfriend / ex-boyfriend etc Edie and McGraw and it's just so much fun I love the artwork that goes alongside it and it's just so funny and warm and I'm so invested in this series I actually reread the whole series right at the end again of 2018 into the starter 2019 it's just I love it so much I can't wait for the next one to come out I've gotta wait a bit longer because I don't have the single issue Ziya phonemes but if you haven't picked up giant days please do it's amazing my number two slot my second favorite book of the year okay so this one suffragette the battle for kotti by David Roberts this is a book that I hold in my Chapman religious festival but cool I just love it it's a book that I wanted for a while and it's so worth the wait the imagery itself is absolutely magnificent but it tells the story of the suffragettes and the importance of it it also talks about integral members of the WSPU and other societies and talks about force-feeding and acts and it was just magnificent as soon as I finished I was like I want to reread it again it's so good I know so many of you will absolutely love this so please go and get this it's amazing Ashlee incredible if you'd like me to do a book review of any of the ones that I don't have a curfew support let me know and I'll do that for you separately but then my number one book of the 2018 I'm only gonna hold up briefly because it's really heavy it's lighter than my shadow by Katy Green it is a monster over book so this is a Oh a graphic memoir I need to put this down all about Katy's life with an eating disorder so it starts when she is a child and she's kind of like a bit of a picky eater about fussy eater and then into but older when she was child into adolescence and time University and then it's also about her recovery and then their recovery there is someone who is in a position of power and there's 30 meant to help Katie recover but they sexually abuse her now this book was incredible I've known about this book for quite a few years it didn't come out in 2018 it came out a few years ago and I've known about this book for a long time but I've never wanted to get it before but for some reason tears in eighteen I just I just got it and it was sat there new jelly when when I receive a book I open it and you know start reading it straight away but this one just sat there until I felt ready I kind of had to prepare myself alright something that I haven't ever spoken about on this channel is that I have suffered from an eating disorder I don't want to go into detail because I'm not ready for it I don't want here um but so much of this book resonated with me I'm a similar oh excuse me I'm a similar to my story and that is why this book is my number one because it really hit me and sometimes I was reading that's me I did that like food rules and stuff like that that Katie had I had as well I mean I didn't have any the sexual abuse stuff in my recovery but the reason why this book it's just so amazing to me is how its Innis traited it was how I felt so when it comes to like feeling full she's just like scribbles like in the stomach like it's really full and it was just incredible and I read this work not out of like oh I fancy it so I'll pick it up I picked this book up when I feel a bit wobbly and I feel like I'm slipping I read it I realized how far I've come and it puts me contract and that's why it's my favorite book of the year because I thought it was just amazing um obviously if you have any problems with eating really be cautious going into it if you do decide to pick it up but really do your research first on if a book like this will trigger you and if you think I'll stay away so those are my favorite books of 2018 I hope you've enjoyed this video checked me in the comment section and I shall see you soon for maximum
