My Father's Day Silver Score: I didn't get a tie this year and I'm not complaining at all!

hey everyone metal scholar here I just thought I'd come on for a video and show you some of the things I got for Father's Day [Music] my daughter and her husband picked up this really cool silver card which I already did a YouTube short on the silver card and I really I really like it I've always wanted a silver card so this is something that I put right in my wallet just to you know keep it next to my credit cards and my cash as a reminder to make good choices with my money so this is cool the silver card is one ounce of three nines fine silver then we went to a second coin shop and they let me pick out a couple more coins and uh now this one is a Morgan that I picked out I'm not collecting Morgan's per se I do like to have a few in my stack especially when I find some that uh with a year that I don't have and also that are really good shape like this one it just seemed to have such nice shine to it this is an 1891 on the other side of course the beautiful Eagle they got it at a really nice price and then super great price was this Maple and they were only going for three dollars over spot so I picked up one of these I think it was only 27 bucks right out the door so of course you all know what the maple looks like the queen there and then what was really fun is just yesterday they gave me this package and said it was part of the Father's Day present but also kind of an early Christmas present and mind you it's July when I'm recording this so for an early Christmas present it must be something special here so I'm excited to open this so I'm going to do a little live opening here so here we go it's got a nice little pull tab hopefully it works [Music] not so much let's grab my trusty knife here we go all right here we go [Applause] okay oh my gosh how cool is this Fender you won't part with yours either one ounce Stratocaster in Daphne blue pure silver shaped coin now this is super awesome thank you guys oh nice one ounce Strat in Daphne blue pure silver shaped coin let me read this established in 1946 Fender has become a cultural icon in its own right and champions the spirit of rock and roll for all music lovers from Young guitarists just learning to play to Legendary musicians beginning in the 1950s slick colors on the new cars was all the rage for Fender guitars as well Daphne blue began as a GM Cadillac color in 1958. it became a popular color for the Stratocaster just two years later in the early 60s Fender continued to innovate this time with its promotional efforts the hugely popular you won't part with yours campaign featured musicians with their guitars in the unlikeliest of situations including surfing motorbiking and of course skydiving so here's a certificate on the back it says the country is the Solomon Islands Year date 2023 denomination is two dollars so this is actually a coin the metal and fineness is silver and four nines fine weight one ounce quality reverse proof mintage only 6 000 pieces were made oh so this is by pamp awesome one ounce Stratocaster coin produced in Switzerland oh nice wow let me see if it comes out so cool it comes out of this should I take it out of the plastic should I take it out I think I should yeah I think I'm gonna take it out yeah I'm gonna take it out of the plastic let me do that because I want to get a closer look oh neat so does it slide out or something oh look at this oh no way how cool is that oh my gosh one it has its oh it's in a little case or it's got at least a little cover no it isn't a case let me see if I can pop it out here oh look it's got the plastic let me set that down and get this out whoa so they made a custom little case for it look at that no way an airtight look at the back it's got the queen what no way okay I love this this is really cool that is awesome it's a great little case too look at that pretty display case right there I might have to display that somehow okay really really cool well thank you guys appreciate it hey everybody thanks for watching if you like watching unboxings and content like this where sometimes I'm opening present from family other times I'm opening some recent pickups I got from a coin shop you know that's what I like to do on this channel and just talk a little bit about precious metals gold and silver and what's going on out there I'd really appreciate and love a subscription and if you want to leave a comment that would be icing on the cake like And subscribe maybe even share alright you guys have a great day thank you and by the way family thank you so much you know who you are I appreciate it all right everybody dream big dream often and then go do it metal scholar over and out foreign [Music]
