this video is sponsored by moof for the last few months I've been putting together my ultimate what's in my tech bag video so today is a bit of kind of eye candy and inspiration for you to do the same so let me give you a tour of the best bits of well-designed tech and everyday carry accessories I've discovered this year and let's be honest here you'll probably wish I hadn't shown you because whilst I love a bargain I fully admit that I've gone all in on this one with some super premium EDC so grab a brew enjoy the Form and Function working in perfect harmony for a bit I guess great design equals a better work life right now of course a bunch of these items were sent to me to review my opinions though are my own as always and I only recommend things that I actually use and like and well it's all mostly in this bag my filming kit and portable office but stick around for one piece of tech that doesn't fit in here a fully electric motorcycle that is making serious waves in the UK and is about to turn up at the studio links in the description to everything mentioned as always just be careful to keep an eye on your bank balance I reckon putting together the right Tech bag setup actually goes a really long way to making life so much easier when you're working on the go so let's start with the bags this is from Harbor London and has room for all of my Essential camera Computing gear as I need it and I really like this kind of attachment that they've added to the bag which is like a kind of tech dop carry bag and you can just like pull it off it's kind of magnets and clips and it's actually surprisingly reassuring how easily that sticks on there so let's open it up something I've been impressed with is how fully openable the main compartment is if I flick this open you can see there's loads of room in it it means I can fit a lot of stuff in here it makes taking more gear when you need it really easy it's a bit of a shame there aren't like adjustable compartments in here for a camera but there are options out there for things like that from people like grams 28 and Peak design and I found with these rather nice magnetic pouches if I just move them to one side camera will sit in here really beautifully so this is actually super well made it feels really premium my only complaint is that these side straps here just feel a little bit too easy to slide after a while so you know but you can tighten them up just with a little pull and that's not too bad but the beauty of this bag lies in the amount of thought given to the compartments so first of all let's just take this off and pop this to one side and we'll go into the EDC a little bit later on and in the main compartment you can see what I've got first of all a nice bit of notion swag my water B a t-shirt it's hot at the moment I get sweaty it's nice to put it in there now usually you'll find my camera here but I'm filming on it so my camera of choice is the fui film xh2 it's a beast for video and photography I love the color profiles and as it has an apsc sensor lenses are much more affordable than full frame I'm a Fujifilm fan what can I say so this is currently the viltrox 13 mm 1.4 that you're looking at me through it's super fast high quality lens that actually is very little money so check it out and I ordered this wrist strap from Harbor as well to make sure I don't drop it so what else have we got in here Road Wireless go to mics so I fully swear by these things you get two mics in the pack they're great for on thee-o improved Zoom call Quality interviews recording attaching it to your camera for wireless sound they're fantastic now in one of the included pouches that magnetize onto here I've got my multi socket Targus travel charger it's got travel clip extensions which will click onto there it's abs abolutely fantastic and a couple of wires and bits and bobs for my computers and all of that that we'll get to in a minute in the other pouch I'm using this to store a rain coat so if I open this up you'll see I have an unbelievably small packing RAB raincoat I bought this for a Lake District trip it's fantastic I now always keep it on me cuz it always rains here in the UK now what I also like about this is if I move a pouch there's room for this my k&f concept portable travel tripod it fits beautifully in a bag like this it's good the only problem is is the original ballhead broke on this so I've added a different one to it there are plenty of great tripods out there the great thing about this is it's super light and they are affordable and on the top you'll see my FAL cam quick release plates these are a brilliant option for all your cameras and everything just to clip onto now the other important stuff my laptop and iPad which sit in here now I wanted a bag with pouches for both and what's really cool about the harbor bag is that it does have a dedicated space for my iPad Pro Pro this is the M4 iPad Pro 13in it fits beautifully in there and there's a really nice soft lining to store it in there I've also got the apple pencil Pro I've been using the iPad with my apple pencil Pro for a few weeks now it's great but should you upgrade to it check out my previous video on the channel after this as for the computer I've always loved my M1 Max MacBook I use it in the studio all the time but over the last few months I've been trying out this a much better travel option the M3 MacBook Air and I have to say this is now a serious argument against a MacBook Pro for all but the superp power users I can't believe how well this thing eats through 4K footage in Final Cut Pro and what I've really enjoyed about traveling around with this is how light it is to carry with a rather nice screen and given the coming developments in AI across Apple's platforms I think these M3 MacBook airs are a great option right now for being ready and able to make the most of those AI Powers with the neural engine capabilities built into these the demos I saw the launch event a few months back were amazing I'll link the video below too if you want to check it out oh and uh make sure you hit the like button too while you're down there now let's move this to one side because with all this expensive appletech let me show you the best ways to keep it all protected with a couple of practical flexible features for working and relaxing remotely and the good news is today's sponsor moof has sent a bunch of surprisingly ingenious options that do that rather well so first this is the snap float folio for the iPad a switch friendly case that unlocks using the iPad in all the ways you want to it uses this clever origami inspired folding system all with full protection in a premium vegan leather which is scratch water and stain resistant it's compatible with the iPad Pro air and mini models this is actually my old iPad but for the new 2024 versions check moths website and this is quite the shape shifter allowing you to switch seamlessly between drawing note taking and streaming on the go so I always look for a cover that supports that nice draw angle for Comfort since I tend to use that a lot but I also like that I can raise the iPad up to monitor level when I'm working and need a second monitor on the fly now I've paired the folio with moth's snap iPad case it's kind of a plastic iPad cover that gives you a bit of extra protection and whilst I haven't always personally been a fan of these little pockets for the apple pencil this is actually a really nicely made one there's a little poke point to get it through now for the MacBook this is moth's carry sleeve and this has actually got a similarly ingenious solution it doubles as storage a sleeve and a stand and there's even a little secret document pocket in there which is rather beautifully done I like that the stand can adjust to either 15 or 25° depending on what you need raising a computer up and paired with the iPad stand it's a brilliant solution or if like me you might have a bag that offers protection already there are compact adhesive laptop stands from moth like this one that also Aid cooling using some graphine based cooling Tech it sticks on the back and you can just peel it back off and it's really good but you know what it's this little beauty that has has most impressed me this is the invisible tripod and it's become a permanent fixture on the back of my iPhone 15 I've recently paired it with these rather nice transparent cases so I can see that titanium iPhone 15 Pro why do I like this well it's proven to be the smallest and most versatile quick to use tripod stand meaning my iPhone is more regularly a viable camera option it's not a traditional tripod and that is why I like it the minimal but multi-functional design means you can use it as a quick stand rotate the camera and it's a great way to make the most of your phone in various angles and adjustments whether it's for a vlogging camera in floating mode or for filming and watching content perhaps the best thing about the tripod though is the Compact and lightweight design you barely notice it's there you can keep it on the phone and it's there when you need it making it a great portable travel companion when you need it most you can just flip it out and Away you go so as you can tell I'm a bit of a fan of moof I use their cases every day so check them out via the link in the description and make your Apple devices safe and sexy so that's all good if I want to go on a longer trip I'm going to need a case level eight sent over a couple of them to try out and I actually didn't realize how much difference good design makes with a case my favorite has to be this the Gibralter aluminium carryon it's won a red dot award for its design and I think for good reason there are a lot of bonus features included here a slow release rubber handle which is rather nice well-designed TSA locks and super quiet Wheels the carry-on also came with a set of pouches for organizing your items inside downsides well it's quite heavy and for some UK flights the size might be slightly too much for standard tickets I have to check this in as a premium boarding thing with EasyJet level eight do however offer other more affordable options that are lighter and this is the Voyager 28 it's genuinely the best check-in luggage I've owned and I think my cat likes it too and it feels quite affordable for the quality the Highlight has to be the wide handle making more space on the inside check them out so that's the special trips covered but I found curating a little Tech bag like this has meant I have everything with me that I need for work and life within reach this is your checklist for everything you might want to include in a tech eedc you got to do phone money Keys haven't you so this is also from Harbor it's a little pouch it's kind of nice I've been using that for a while I keep a note in there and a bunch of cards keys I'm using the orbit key key organizer it's absolutely brilliant particularly cuz you can just things around I've got a little tool on there bottle opener screwdriver all of that and it just stops scratching stuff in your pocket so that's rather good and that is the key to my Royal Enfield there's that camera strap this is also mofed this is a little battery pack that will give you a charge and in terms of like travel Tech this is the Microsoft Arc 2 Mouse the tiny mouse that will fit and flatten into your bag I've shown this loads of times on the channel I absolutely love it got my trusty SanDisk SSD I edit all of my projects off this they're pretty rugged actually and and super fast you can work off them what else is in here a little USBC cable to go with it and a couple of pens I'm a big fan of Muji that is a Muji ballpoint pen if you don't know about them an amazing little company super cheap very nice to use and this is my sexy little pen this one is from kco it's a COO sport fountain pen they're really nice really good travel pens I use that to tick off what I'm up to some paracetamol this is also from Muji this is a little spray can smell nice with that really cool you can put your stuff in there I also carry a few camera bits in here so I've got my insta 360 this is really brilliant for shooting things on the go you can see some clips here from when I was walking around with the bag and what's cool about it is it sticks anywhere either with this which is a little bit like that laptop stand a kind of removable adhesive stand which you can clip the uh thing onto but then the other cool thing about this is that you can take this out and this will magnetize onto stuff and then you can actually view what you're doing on this screen I think these are absolutely brilliant and I use it all the time and finally for a bit of navigation this is a beline moto and if you haven't heard of these you can use them on a bicycle or a motorbike and it's a really cool distraction free navigation system plugs into your phone remotely stick it on your bike and speaking of things that you use on your bike I'm rather liking the way that this bag from Harbor has this little kind of clip to attach keys or whatever and then it just kind of hooks back in in the similar way to these sections and on that are my Loop earplugs now I don't know if you've ever heard of these they're pretty premium they're pretty expens expensive but what these things do is block out some sound what's really cool about these is they will allow you to still hear details so you wear these at a concert or let's say on a motorbike you can still hear the music or the engine but protect your ears this set allow you to adjust three levels if you can see this and they just sit within your ears but do you really need earplugs for motorcycling when the bike is silent now you may or may not know this but I am a motorcyclist I love my Royal Enfield but for the commute and the environment I've been waiting for that perfect electric motorcycle option that will finally strike the balance of value power and design to be a viable commuter option and well I think this is it the maving RM 1s I attended the launch at the bike shed in London last month and took the bike out for a test ride to see what it was all about it's got some rave reviews from the press it does 70 mph and will run up to 80 M on a charge of its removable batteries all built in the UK and some beautiful design cues from the Classic Bikes of the past in fact I'm waiting on one to be delivered here in the next few weeks I can't wait you'll be able to watch a full feature on this slightly more unusual piece of travel Tech on the channel soon so that might have got you inspired to upgrade your bits and Bobs but next if you are an iPad User watch this video for the apps and tips to bring it to life or to get your work as organized as your bag is now watch this one for my latest productivity tips make
