hi everyone my name is chefi and I'm really excited to present my course hyper real 3D character creation I've been a 3D character artist for the past 5 and a half years and I've got hundreds of messages in that time from people asking me to do a course or a tutorial based on my process and finally I'm sharing it with you all this is like my Ultimate Guide to making realistic characters and it's a combination of years of knowledge and experience and I'm really excited to share with you today so let me tell you all about the course so I'll be starting with texturing xyz's fif Face Pack and we'll be using their base mesh to start blocking out forms and Anatomy based on the likeness that we're trying to go for we'll be using image planes and mea to try and match of our sculp so we can get closer to the likeness then we'll be doing some fitting of eye geometries and creating things like the miniscus and the crle a Marvelous Designer we'll be building the t-shirt and I'll be showing you guys how we can do some retopology on that in Mya and then bring that back into zebrra project all our details and then continue to build up our sculpt then we'll swiftly move on to the textur module which will be in and we'll be using nodes to start modifying our Vace textures so we can get closer to the likeness as well as building more bespoke maps such as the roughness the coat and the specularity you'll also be provided with some cross polarized Scara textures that you can use to project for your Scara we'll also be texturing the other eye geometries as well as the clothing we'll then increase the resolution of our mesh and zbrush and start to do a finer detail pass we'll export out this displacement and combine it with our XYZ displacement when we go on to doing look Dev the look Dev trapdor involves doing some calibration based on the Vace reference images this will involve bringing in all of our maps from Mari and connecting them to the Arnold surface shaders so we can start building look there for the eyes the skin and the clothing to get ourselves to a really nice level of realism The Grooming module will comprise of grooming and xgen we'll be doing the facial groom the eyebrows eyelashes and Peach fuz and even nostril hair as well as the beard and the actual main hair too and I'll be sharing my exan expressions with you so we can get more natural feeling here then we move on to the advanced look Dev chapter I created this chapter as more like deep dive into the hypers shade in the Arnold renderer and how we can push our characters and the quality that final 51% you'll also be provided with some bespoke light setup so we can create some really nice renders too in the animation module I'll be showing you guys how I apply a basic rig to my character sculpting up some blend shapes in zbrush so we can animate a cool blink sequence like this the lighting and rendering module is all about finalizing our artwork I'll be showing you guys some lighting techniques and how to compose your final renders we'll be using Da Vinci resolve to do any final postprocessing and then I'll show you guys how to do some really nice breakdown images for your portfolio Okay so that's it guys the course comes with over 15 hours of content it also comes with a bunch of assets for you guys to work with as well as a private Discord server where I'll be readily available for you guys to ask me questions or just post your RW for feedback I hope you like the final result and I can't wait to see what you guys make from it
