well linda's i'm sick i'm sick of going to these makeup artists and these salons and they always end up messing something up for me they always end up going wrong and i'm starting to question myself i'm starting to think maybe i'm the problem in today's video we're going to prove whether that's true or not which is why my friend here andrea is gonna be getting her makeup done along with me at a very very pro salon hey guys it's me judy and today's video is a very special video because today we are joined by myself i'm by myself she definitely agreed to this even though i did mention it kind of last minute but that's that's besides the point she literally told me this idea like two hours ago and i'm scared for my life look we're gonna walk in and tell her uh we're part of a dance troupe we are gonna perform and we need a makeup look to help us perform our dance gymnastics professionals [Music] so yeah we need a makeup look to suit our performance of the day we're performing in a zoom exciting yeah your first time this makeup artist uh was testing on andrea she had no idea what to do she ended up just trying things out on andrea's face because when i came along and it was my turn things were a lot faster and she just seemed to know what to do more this place wasn't like the absolute trashiest place we could go to it did have really bad reviews everything smelled so bad everything felt soggy and humid and uh it was just so she starts off by doing something to andrea's face i don't know what she's doing i think i think she's trying to conceal because she put it in spots where you conceal [Music] i mean she was really depending on the makeup residue on the brush and i guess that's why you could barely see anything happen i don't know am i blind i don't see any progress i don't see any point to what she was doing of course she didn't wipe andrea's face she didn't clean or like do any kind of skincare she did for me she decided to clean my face with that literally no point to what she did it was the most uncalled for step i mean what are you talking about if this is a beautiful part of my skincare [Music] oh baby she basically does the exact same thing for both of us but she didn't clean the brush and she didn't disinfect it she didn't change it so i guess me and andrea are just sharing bacteria you guys it's it's another level of friendship um we're closer than ever so next up she does our foundation our base what confused me is how first of all she used the same brush again keep in mind it wasn't cleaned so it still had the previous product on it another thing i wasn't really a fan of was the amount of foundation she used the amount of product she put on andrea's face [Music] but something i actually liked was that she used a sponge after the brush which is strangely a very rare thing for makeup artists to do here and she managed to take off the excess product with a sponge by doing that so it gave a much better finish especially in andrea's case because i feel like she put so much foundation why she definitely didn't need that amount and especially because she doesn't really contour later on so putting foundation in this amount without contouring is like literally creating an egg in my case when she did my foundation uh i looked stained and dirty i don't think it was about the shade really it was i think the quality of the product it just didn't sit well on my face wow hold up linda i know you're probably wondering oh my god judy what the hell what an amazing editor you are well apart from having a 10 000 sponsoring this video now back to this abomination i mean art she does manage to make it a bit better by concealing my face and she did blend it very well so it didn't look as stained as it did in the beginning [Music] another nice thing was that she actually set both our foundations with powder it wasn't excess powder it was just the perfect amount even the right brush so like that actually surprised me you know i was not expecting her to do that so one thing she did to andrea that she didn't do to me was adding this very questionable powder i'm assuming she wanted to prime her eyes or get her eyes ready for the eyeshadow but it really didn't work out you could even see that it wasn't even blended properly and she just completely skipped this step for me i think the makeup artist did a pretty good job at doing both mine and andrea's eyebrows she did use the same product for both of us meaning for andrea i felt like the shade was a bit off like here's a before and after it looked kind of dirty rather than you know defined but either way it was still like decent linda's one thing i noticed that was pretty interesting was that anything that came to do with my makeup this makeup artist did much better than when she did it with andrea what a fox like my eyebrows she did it in two minutes much faster than with andrea and i think they turned out pretty nice even in the future you're gonna see when she starts doing my eyes they actually came out much nicer than andrea's eyes unfortunately and i think this actually brings us to a very interesting conclusion and that's the fact that this makeup artist only ever needed some practice because her things aren't great like her products are really cheap and knockoffs her sponges are dirty her brushes are dirty like she doesn't really have much to work with and she kind of managed to get a much better result just by practicing on one other face so practice is really key i feel with this salon she started with this golden yellow eyeshadow which i think is actually pretty cool i mean andrea it looked really nice on me i just looked like i was anemic that's god he agrees but she kept adding colors on top of that was one of them how how was the experience i don't know if you were hearing but the girl she told me do you ever shave your mouth like do you ever pick your breath and in my defense in my defense i did on sundays and today is friday okay it's pretty hairy right now and then at the end she was trying to put the mascara on and she was like you have really tiny lashes that's why i have to do it twice and i'm like okay yeah i know i saw you suffer like she once you started doing everything under your eyes you were just suffering when she was like doing the curly thing yeah yeah she put the mascara and then she put it again and then you got stuck this is not like terrible terrible like i feel like even the makeup is not that bad it's not it's not like it's a bit it's on you when you sit up with the foundation it just looked like dirt the biggest disaster like we're we're friends right but she literally didn't even like to even spray alcohol on the brushes after she was like yeah because i went first i didn't really check everything out i didn't see the brushes i was like okay whatever and now i was looking at you and i was like eel yes disgusting no the hygiene of this place is nasty yeah like the result is okay the makeup is okay but the the actual like hygiene yeah i am bruce in my soul uh andrea was just saying she felt like they did my eyeshadow better than hers
