which it does nice and comfortably i'm just going to go around the edges now with the fire and then we get the red oxide on all these holes we've made so as you can see i've started putting the uh conduit through so simply fill it through the rubber grommets now following the lines that i drew out on the van and it's ended up just up here where the 12 volt lights gonna be [Music] of course all unit face on so i've got a rough idea of where i want everything [Music] so [Music] attach this piece onto here so then the plywood base can rest on top of there [Music] which is salvaged from the van so we're going to take some measurements cut it to size [Music] yay [Music] do hello party hello okay so that's basically going to slot into our mortise here of our channel that we've created just like this [Music] as you can see it gives quite a nice seamless fit [Music] [Applause] [Music] so instead of subtracting two sides i subtracted one now they're both too wide which is highly frustrating this one's fine but these two i'm gonna have to take it to a table saw and cut it down see if it looks ridiculous or not um fortunately i can't get any more timber because i came here on that thing [Music] let's check out all the doors are in our next step now is put in the latches [Music] so [Music] do [Music] so [Music] do [Music] so [Music] so this is going to be the sink and the tap unit so i'm going to turn what was an old fish pan into the sink and i'm going to use this old hand pump here for the tap [Music] these have to be like one of the top five least fun things to do [Music] so we have water fresh water works and so does the waste water [Music] so we've got our foam all around the edges here now that's a fully enclosed area [Music] you might even be able to uh repurpose that for something in fact i just had a thought on what i could use here i was going to have a little drop down table let's just save me joining the wood together all right [Music] so [Music] you [Music] so i'm pretty pleased with that another job we can take off the list [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] so i've got a little spice wrap there that's in place now let's get in there [Music] [Music] and there we have it there is my repurposed howdy y'all so today we're going to do our friendship [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] all right so the workshop situation has been upgraded slowly after the farmer here richard very kindly allowed me to use this space for the same price of the other one that i was using so uh richard if you're watching thank you very much uh it's gonna be a big help as you can see from this photo the weather hasn't been so kind recently [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] uh so as you can see this frame here has completely copied the face of the bed frame across there [Music] oh great so now you can see our bed frame all pulled out looking kind of like a bed i'll try and show you in action then so i just have to pull it out of the uh the holes that we cut out earlier like so and then i can just pull it forward until we meet the other holes that we've created in the floor and then should slot into place and there we have it look and then i can go ahead and start checking cushions on top of there happy days [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] you [Music] so as you can see when i switch the lights on we get the little blue light which is cool that means that's working and these are touch sensitive so i haven't put in a switch because there's a switch on the light itself and let you just touch them like that and the cool thing about these is they have a dimming feature as well so if you hold your finger on it for a while as you can see it will switch [Music] days okay so when it comes to actually installing the roof light there's going to be some screws which are going to screw into the ceiling of your van i'm just going to point something out that when i do that with this one it's going to bow the ceiling we're not going to get good contact so what you might need to do is fill it like i have done this side and now that's going to give a through one of the eyelets and then i've attached the guy rope to the top there's the snap rings there that attach the top of the roof rack so i have three along here like so [Applause] [Music]
