MUCH NEEDED FILTER CHANGE!!! | MF 35 GETS SOME TLC

hello everybody my name is farmer Phil and in today's video with a little bit of work to do on the 35 the 35 currently the lift will not go up under his weight on it and that's near enough for sure Telltale sign that a filter in there is blocked so let's go around the other side tip it right I did well fresh oil in there just make sure it hasn't gone out of it yeah with lots of oil that doesn't look a nice color either lovely so it is I was just actually we've done this job I made a video of this cleaning out the foil filter it is after 40 years and it's three years ago since we've done it we've done it I uploaded the video the 9th of October so it's done probably a few days before that so this is the first time we've been back in this area since then and because we wanted to have it on the yard scraper um we need to have a deck and actually lift the outcropper which would be very handy quite literally just to make sure to remember when we got last time we opened the wrong side first let's just decide with the gear lever on this variation at the 35 so I remember rightly from the other video fighter Phil said that was the newer ones was in a different area or maybe it was just the new one once again to the 100 series at 135. maybe anyways if you want to learn more fighterfield was in that one is I think fighter Phil might come out he might not I don't know what she's doing goodness so I'm going to rip off this here and get inside and drain dial out of a two let's put in fresh oil of a barrel of oil there so shouldn't take a lot we get it we get her opened up and get this filter out and see that hopefully that's all that's wrong with it but yeah I quite literally to remember how to do this I re-watched the video I put up from three years ago so Wonder benefits of uploading videos but as with YouTube in general there's not a lot that's not on YouTube so it is quite handy for learning how to do bits and bobs with different things literally anything you think of what someone has nearly done on YouTube already anyways rip off this cover so I have my dream plug is there give me a bucket underneath the ketchup it's actually five gallon drum cut one end out of it works quite well opening this now let this good soup out I'm expecting this to be real bee's knees soup hold up hey that is creamy looking stuff look at that that is usually when it called oil goes creamy like that that's usually a sign of water let's see the magnet the end of it which is for connect collecting any metal wear but yeah that's what how or where the water is getting in it's just wait for a second behind this all comes up so it's nearly out there now I think so what I'm gonna do now if I remember rightly the last time we've done it we thrown a bit of diesel flash for about just to try and get more of that good soup out so I think I have some waste diesel here to come out with that tank at the 6290 last year so once that runs out to some extent I put back in the drain plug try another have this Diesel and then just rock the transfer forward and back and you'd move a slash about and lay here out then as well just to try and clean out the inside somehow that his good s so just ready to put in a bit easy and do some to see the gears moving in there now when I moved it that's reverse first having the like nice spotless reverse first second third pretty cool grip see inside and see everything when you move to here anyways ready to find some diesel drags of attack and Rock train we'll flip a bit of stuff at the bottom at least it's not going to wash our gears down in that book did you get rid of somebody I don't want to see in there and foreign that drain out we get to work opening Rock opening all these so I already cracked that one I do want to say a big thank you to Midwest electrical from Clear they have helped us out getting out the workshop with tools so far I wanted things that we got half them is our Imperial spanner set so if Imperial spanners and ring spanners and using the ring spanner to make us handy we also got sockets off them but when you're working on all machines like this Imperial is the way to go because they're all put together there's the filter house in there you can see it there with the wire that's it there it's Elizabeth his stuff in there now but um I have got the most of it out yeah it's not the color stuff you want to see inside your bag here can you do anyways get this filter on see what it's like going acquire some Nimble fingers to mine are not Nimble is a bit of wire pull it out it's a wing no on top I don't know and that is why my lift isn't working look at this look at it this tree years of dirt how on Earth that's getting into this because this tractor does apart from script The Yards no one put a little bit air Harvester and do that but it'll work no it's not a lot but that's a lot of dirt anyways these filters are clean and washable so smart wash now put it back in as Mike absolutely mine oh I just went in to consult with Father Phil he's doing some research on the 1200s these manuals and stuff there and looking at bits online so I went in just to see what would I do about this filter just look it is Mike three years and I wouldn't call a whole lot of work done it's definitely walk her gun in where to walk again it's beyond both of us because apart from it's left outside and that occasion it's normally kept inside and there's nothing open on top so a bit of a loss as to why water seems to have gone into it but um and it's it is full of little fine stuff as well yes yes just man so I said to him about Washington he says there's no point the filters aren't all too dear oh it's about my foot uh filters aren't too dear so we'll just go and get a new one in the morning stick it back in fill her up a dial and away she goes for another while but um yeah just confuses where the water is getting in I have to do the rooting on that another day but if we get her back on we can get her back on the yard scraper just handy on the yard Scraper on it all the time you just jump on it when you need it well anyways oh so that's me for tonight so quietly Virginia now for the rest tonight I might if we can find the Jack I'll jack up the front because the plug is that the back of the tractor turn up is that the back of the casting so if I jack up the front that's going to make although to towards the back and get more of it over to Mooring I would have to bet her yeah nasty looking stuff but um yeah so we'll pick it up again in the morning and put the new filter in it fresh right we lower back hold the shed I'm back onto the art scrub so it's the next morning thunderfield called up to Johnston's in town got the new filter 30 Euro for the filter so can't complain this is it two O-rings in it so just have to give treasure housings a bit of wash off nice new filter installed one that's the difference well we banged this together again head back into this tractor and get our Philly to put oil I know the shed and that should be that oh just watch these two bits of the filter housing and um we got it all put back together I have Everton cleaned out ready to go so this one goes in there doesn't it I have to double check now let's clean that one out first yes everyone goes in there that was like that Knuckles like that and they're not just screws in Happy Days filters back together stick it in screw it in and also I'm charging the battery and this at the minute while I had it in here so should be ready to go when I get out so yeah fire this filter back in there [Music] on the bottom [Music] [Music] down one there the closer to the step into it all depending the hole again I was half an hour ahead livecom just passed away so you give me a hand first try and I went go ahead anyways I go put the rest of these in with Federal we go around with the shed also the clutch came so we have a refurbished is in here and founder Phil dropped it down to League slip to get re redone and it's after coming up there now so now we have the clutch to go back in it so happy days I know it was very quick and um founder filter sent off the oh I'm trying to think of it is it the flywheel maybe it's not the flywheel but he sent half part of it that had some where I know where the clutch wears again to get re-skimed leave a nice flat smooth surface to go back to but anyways get this all tightened up Happy Days nice little drop of oil going in that should be her good oh well never hand tighten them we have Royal happy days so now that's already come out Workshop what's up I just disconnect my battery there I'm gonna set her up we'll see the lift goes up and down happy hour happy hour we chose to we see this working get her outer shed because we're going blast them later on today so let her get ready for that yeah we tidy up oh I see liftworks so I'll just put back together now so lift it's working anyways so just once we get script run and see that that's working this is going up and down there so that's that song Happy it is happy it is now this is my her bringing it back into the yard but that's really it there's not much more to save for
