in this tutorial you'll learn how to motion track more than one object or person at the same time in filmora 10. keep watching [Applause] [Music] [Applause] hey it's elliot from wondershare filmora here to empower your inner video creator before we get started don't forget to like subscribe and hit that notification bell so you don't miss any of our latest tutorials all done let's get to it you can only apply motion tracking to a clip once but what if you want to track multiple subjects in one clip whether you want to show the names of multiple people hide multiple faces or point out multiple objects in the background all that is possible in filmora 10. if you're new to motion tracking in general we've got an intro tutorial you might want to check out i'll add the link in the description now let's move on to tracking multiple objects in the same clip so here in filmora i've got this clip of a skier and snowboarder which i'll drop in the timeline i want to add both their names so viewers can tell who is who first let's duplicate this clip and put the copy on the track above just copy and paste make sure both clips are perfectly lined up now we won't need this top clip for a while so i'm going to click this eye icon to hide it now that we're all set up let's really get started double click on the bottom clip and find motion tracking in the menu that opens click the box next to it to activate the feature and a tracking box will appear in your video preview [Music] set that around your first subject and then hit the tracking icon to let filmora do its magic then click the eyeball next to the top clip again to bring it back after that double click on it again find and activate motion tracking and place the tracking box over the second subject this time [Music] [Applause] once the top clip is tracked click the eyeball to hide it again let's add a name tag to identify our first subject find a text effect you like and drag it into the timeline above both clips i'm going to use callout2 and arrange it so it's above the snowboarder [Music] now my first label is in the timeline but i still need to make it follow the motion track i set up earlier let's go down to our bottom clip double click it and choose our title from the drop down menu in the motion tracking section you may need to readjust the titles to fit the way you want them to [Music] now to do the same for our skier drag another title onto the timeline arrange it so it's placed above the second subject and enter the label you want [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] finally let's go to our hidden clip on the second track and set the tracking to our new title don't unhide the clip and once again let's readjust our titles to fit the scene properly [Music] now it's time to play everything back [Music] looks good that's how you motion track multiple subjects in filmora you can repeat this trick over and over and track a ton of moving objects in one clip can you think of any other uses for motion tracking let us know in the comments below and keep creating
