EASY Locked On Stabilization Effect in Wondershare Filmora X

in this video you'll learn how to create a locked on camera effect in filmora 10. hey everyone it's elliott from wondershare filmora here to empower your inner video creator before we get started don't forget to like subscribe and hit that notification bell so you don't miss any of our new videos alright let's get started a lockdown video effect is when it looks like the camera is locked onto one aspect of the clip keeping that one point in the middle even as the subject moves this is a popular effect for workout and dancing videos because of how it highlights the athlete to start off you'll need to use a high resolution clip 1080p will work but 4k would be better today i'll be using this clip the reason you need a high resolution clip is because you're going to have to blow up the image a bit to avoid black edges higher resolution clips look better when you zoom in so let's blow it up a bit double click on your clip to open up the editing menu and find transform under the video tab drag the scale slider right to zoom in [Music] to mark your spot drag a text effect into a track above your clip and replace the message with a plus sign [Music] depending on the color of the point you're locking onto you may want to change the color to see the mark better place the mark over your point when it is in the middle of the screen then adjust the length of the title effect to match your clip you may want to click the lock icon to lock this track in place so you don't accidentally move the marker now double click on your clip to open the editing menu again and click into the animation tab then go to custom we're going to use keyframing to create camera movement first click add to create a starting point keyframe then jump forward about 3 frames in your video preview drag your clip so the point you want your camera to lock onto is under your marker again this will create a new keyframe repeat this process for as long as you want the effect to last if the movement in your clip is very fast you may want to jump fewer frames between keyframes or if the movement is slow you may want to jump more [Music] once you're done unlock the track with your marker and delete it then watch your lockdown clip back good thank you for watching if you see other cool effects like this one in youtube videos tv shows and even commercials and think how do i do that remember that you can always request a tutorial from our team we love getting suggestions until next time keep creating [Music] you
