some amazing coaches i made sure you weren't the one that got away but um what's your name i'm maddie krastowski i'm from melbourne victoria and i'm 17. so i brought with me my mum my dad and my brother number one number one fans for medicaid yep my last name is kristevsky and a lot of people find that hard to say hard to spell it's just a hard last name i want to be maddie k i want to be a bit edgy a little bit of a pop princess but not too much because we don't we don't want a bit of a cheesy one but [Laughter] when i was little i i came off the stage one time i said oh my god can i just do it again i just like the feeling of entertaining people you know and knowing that people enjoyed it and you didn't just do it for nothing i love ariana grande and i wouldn't say i base myself on her but i love her voice and her style and she's amazing and katy perry i love her but i also love beyonce so i do want to be a pop princess you know being on the voice would help with that as well i am so ready i'm so excited and i want to be the one everyone goes oh yeah medicaid i started in this music industry at your age you know 15 16 17 years old is the time where you're getting to know about your voice and and you know your styling and for somebody to be as young as you are 17 years old and that made me want to turn my chair for you because i feel like you're going to be one to watch and want to listen for you're going to grow a lot and you're going to i have a really good feeling about you and i just really want you to choose me i really want you to choose me at your coach so at this point of the competition the girls including kelly have got a lot of big girl voices i'm just warning you so sometimes you've got to be i can't even say you got to be careful who you go with oh oh george jordan my ears falling out like i'm falling apart see he's falling apart you don't want to be with a coach just fall in the fall i keep myself together honey i do have a lot of girls on my team but one thing that i love about what i'm forming with team kelly is i'm creating a team of competitors having said that i don't have anyone like you at all you do i don't plus i've got a lot of experience been around a long time me too i'm the chameleon and i'm every woman and sometimes george is two but [Applause] i'm kind of on the fence with that really kind of mean i don't mind depends on the day anyway the point is i can't turn you into me do you mean so you're always going to be unique if you're on team george you know me like there's no way i can make you into me because i don't even know who i am join me so you know the risk that you take is when you go with someone that's female they might kind of influence you to be more like them i would never influence you to be like me because i feel like i will oh not at all oh yes you will oh not at all no no no no no keep going jordan you know i'd i'd like someone young like you you know someone enthusiastic someone gorgeous beautiful hair we've got it going on babe come to team george they are fighting for he's got some good points [Applause] you guys are making it really hard for me just putting that out there ah [Applause] [Music] hello so this knockout group is maddie emily and sam this theme that i've chosen is very very close to my heart it's girl groups i know sam is like what girl group that's all right but trust me on it these girls have big voices this knockout is gonna be tough for sam um so i will start with maddie [Music] so in the blind auditions i turned around and the girl on stage looks every bit like a pop star remember every pop star that you see that you know that you love they did the work to get it yeah okay [Music] the song kelly has given me a shout out to my ex by little mix hold on stop one more thing okay now you got an ex-boyfriend no i've never had a boyfriend oh girl then i need you to act okay this i don't do when my ex did me wrong i want to go take a bat and beat the crap out of the car you know what i mean like that's how angry i am sing from that place okay i've never had a boyfriend but this song is right up my alley and i have no excuse to not emily can still be stolen by another coach your time starts now [Applause] congratulations manny for this battle i put together my two best performers stop when i saw maddie walk in the door the very first thing that went through my mind was oh no i was like oh my god aiden out of all people i knew it i knew it obviously you both are a little sad to see each other it's definitely hard to get so close with someone and then if you want to succeed it's got to be at their downfall i think maddie's awesome you're both great performers and when i'm looking at all six i'm saying okay like what's going to be the best challenge for everyone you two delivered such explosive performances every time i saw you [Music] returnee aiden has gone from strength to strength with another show-stopping performance in the knockouts [Applause] you did well maddie i can't believe kelly let you go but i am also thrilled because that gives me the opportunity to work with you after regretting not turning for pop star at maddie k in the blinds joe jumped at the chance to steal her from team kelly at the knockouts i stole maddie from kelly's team i can see the star in her i really want to prove to joe that i can continue through the show and make him proud we both sound great and it was really impressive i picked a song that's going to really elevate that side of you guys so you two are gonna be doing uptown funk by bruno mars no way bruno is one of the best performers of our time and i feel like this is the perfect song for them i'm a massive bruno mars fan so like it's a great gym so i mean i didn't expect to get uptown funk but i think i can work with it and bring something of my own to it you'll see that it's spread out a lot yeah yeah and it's a lot of call and response it's a lot of maddie maddie it's a little bit of a worry because it's very you know your turn my turn your turn my turn [Music] i think that's something i really have to work on and it's scaring me a little bit don't believe me just watch what i need from them during this performance is to give that stage what this song deserves a little note for for you aiden is be confident on the verses yeah like attack it you know and even when you come in on the first chorus like really give it to us okay but let's not forget what we're working on here vocally but adding those elements where people are just like wow even bruno mars would be impressed right yeah so that's your homework okay aiden and i can both sing and dance so i'm gonna have to find a way to stand out in this battle this battle is gonna be very very tough i'm one step away from the live shows everything that i've been working towards since i started singing it's being put on the line right now myself [Music] i'm so pretty [Applause] which one of you popped both of you had like great vocal moments so i'm not going to be very helpful here i think you should become a duo kelly did that last year oh i tried i mean you guys do have a like what is all of this and what is all of this miss maddie and it was just so entertaining that first of all great job to your coach joe you did a wonderful job coaching you really did delta you have called aidan a born performer do you think his star is rising when i look at you aiden i kind of feel like you're somebody who's like ready to go you're in such great hands with joe and you're clearly a force you two as a team i loved that you both had choreography i loved it it was thought out it felt like you were both on point it felt rehearsed so well done to both of you maddie you did a beautiful job thank you whilst i'm a super fan of aiden i feel like maddie held her own in a fantastic space so big ups to the two of you love you both you're great thank you so much thank you wow joe now you said this was going to be a battle of confidence so who claimed the crown for you tonight the fact that you guys got got up on stage you danced your asses off and yet you still sounded good is like really something that's very rare to find i don't think we have really anyone on the show that can do what you guys are doing up there you definitely bring the best out of each other all that said uh my tough decision has to be made so [Applause] i want to work with the person who i feel like is going to be dedicated work hard and i think ultimately can show the confidence i need and that's aiden i congratulations so sure that it was going to be maddie like no no don't don't do that to me don't do that to me it's so hard it's so hard to be happy because i know maddie worked really hard we both worked really hard we we grinded in the hotel room like okay hey hold on hold on no we really did we worked really hard on this yeah we practiced really hard to make this the performance that it was you guys definitely did an incredible job thank you so much so much people are the best of me in this performance i hope i did the same for you but um [Applause] great work [Applause]
