Most Lawns Are Overgrown Weeds and a Mixture of Grass Types

all right guys what is going on we got another lawn care video for you right here this is a property that i i've mowed for like three years now uh but uh this is the first time we mowed it this year and as you can tell in some of the spots uh the grass is pretty thick um it is kind of tall in in certain places just kind of depends on on what's there and you know these are these are probably more common yards that i mow than the nice nice plush green green lawn that stripes really well and all that type of stuff you know these lawns here are kind of a mixture of fescue weeds you got the purple flowers which i believe are hembit um you got those really going really crazy this year um then you also got some bermuda creeping in there and and all that type of stuff and that's why these lawns here i'm not sure they show up very well on camera just because um the grass isn't super super thick although right there where i'm edging it is pretty thick on that side there's a lot of fescue and it was uh it was pretty thick over there but um but yeah like you know as you can tell in this video this lawn here definitely need to mow we actually stopped by last week we're gonna mow it and she told us to wait another week because it wasn't april yet and i usually don't start this long until april but uh this year it's been kind of warm so we kind of started a little bit early this year but she did not want us to start early so we didn't and uh this is kind of an elderly lady basically the our routine for mowing her property is we start in april uh we mow it twice in april and then we are weekly in may june july august and then towards the fall we kind of go bi-weekly again so yeah that's just kind of what she wants and she's very particular about about her yard and about you know kind of the height and everything and this one here she actually came out she goes i want you to mow it short i want you to mow it short and uh and you know she doesn't speak good english so i usually just kind of agree with her and then just kind of do whatever i think we we mowed this one at three inches um this is you know that's about a half inch shorter than what we normally mow it we normally mow this one about three and a half um but i didn't really want to go down too low because she let it she let it get kind of kind of tall before we were able to mow it so uh not quite fair in my opinion so we just kind of mowed it as low as i could without making a big mess any lower than that we would i think we would have just been uh it would it would have made a pretty big mess but uh but anyway this here is like a little island that is in the corner of the property um as you can tell the the height of it is pretty high up from the concrete and it's really hard to mow without scalping because as soon as your tires hit the concrete there's such an elevation change there that you end up scalping that part really bad i've done that a couple times so for for a while now i've just been uh been trimming it with a weed eater and uh doing it that way so yeah i mean this here is a like i said it's one of the normal lawns that we mow um you know not every lawn is a 10 guys not every lawn is a uh is a you know absolute perfect lawn so i've been getting some comments about uh about hey you know you need to do something with that lawn or you know you need to do this do that you know people are on a budget people uh you know people have a certain amount of money they want to spend and you know they know their lawn isn't going to be like uh you know somebody down the street that actually takes care of their lawn and gets all the weeds out that's that's not this lawn that's not this property but the good news is is they all pay they all pay the same whether it's good grass or weeds or anything like that it's still a still a mowing job and it still uh still pays the bills and puts food on the table so um i'll take them all day long i don't mind these these type of lawns at all so anyway guys i hope you guys enjoy the video uh you know we did uh we edged first then we trimmed then we mowed um stay to the end because we got some good after shots um you know of the backyard and i think the front yard and uh and that little island there so the middle island i just trimmed i think there's a final shot on it there at the end of this video so if you want to check
