Morrowind's hidden anti-slavery faction!

hey and welcome to another mini maroin guide today we're going to talk about a lesser known faction the twin lamps there are many factions you can join or just work for in marind you have your Classics like the fighters Mages and thieves guild among some others but the twin lamps are a fair bit more secretive they're abolitionists for slavery across venell and you have to prove yourself before you're allowed to help them slavery is a huge problem in morrowwind with many members of the Beast races being subject to forced labor or being made to fight for others amus in arenas the Empire abolished slavery for the most part and you can find Sanctuary for escaped slaves in places like eard despite this the emperor allows the people of morwin to continue their use of slaves as the dunmer defended it as one of their ancient rights you can run into slaves in many places and have the opportunity to free nearly all of them and if you free enough of them you'll start getting hints about the faction to free a slave you need to find the key to their braces all slaves in the same area share the same key and once you find it you can free them via dialogue which gives a massive boost in their disposition towards you just be careful if guards see you free them they'll almost definitely turn hostile slaves can be found in many Smuggler caves mines plantations and being sold in multiple slave markets across venell in the case of the market you can sometimes buy them yourself with the intent of freeing them immediately after after you've freed a few slaves they might start to ask if you're a part of the twin lamps and after a few more around 20 total you'll be given a passphrase have you seen the twin lamps and the counter reply they light the way to Freedom the twin lamps is run by Il manyi dren a house Lalu representative of noble birth as her father is the Duke of venell vom dren she chooses to forgo the life of a noble and instead lives in a small apartment fit for a commoner sharing the password V many will allow you to work for the faction providing additional quests to rescue specific slaves being actively tracked by slave Hunters while you're in vivac you can also visit jasha the kajit of jobasha's rare books who is also an anti-slavery campaigner and if you've released enough slaves from captivity they will reward you with skill books for your efforts so did you know of the twin lamps leave a comment let me know of your own experiences in morrowwind I'd love to hear your stories if you've learned something new then drop a sub to get more guide videos in the future thanks for watching and I'll see you next time
