MORNING ROUTINE OF A D1 ATHLETE

here we go again foreign [Music] welcome back to another video um it's 605 in the morning right now this morning I woke up and I decided you know what I want to show everyone my morning routine what I do on a daily basis every morning so that's exactly what I'm going to be doing remember to like comment and subscribe um for your post notifications honestly you know the next video comes up and comment what you guys want to see in the next video and uh enjoy the video I have been following this routine every morning when I wake up every morning I start off with my 50 50 50 workout which involves 50 push-ups 50 squads and 50 crunches me personally I love core workouts so that's why I added two sets of one minute planks every morning when I wake up stretching is so important to me I focus on stretching for at least 10 to 15 minutes every morning when I wake up foreign [Music] lastly I take my vitamins [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] so first thing in the morning uh I'm here with my boy my name is Greg sorry it's our strength and conditioning coach so every morning uh I either get a lift from him or I do my own personal uh like lifting routine so what are we doing today and that's why I messed up why would I ask my strength and conditioning coach hey what are we going to do today 20 seconds on okay 20 seconds off eight times okay two minute rest all right 20 on 20 off six times two minute rest 20 on 20 off four times I have absolutely no idea where he gets his ideas for these conditioning workouts and the whole time he's standing right there to see if I'm biking as hard as I possibly can but if there's one thing I can give him credit for is that he definitely knows his stuff this workout is so tough because I have to push my arms and legs at the same time in order for the bike to move when I was done I felt so accomplished hey what do they say man stay ready so you don't got to get ready you know what I'm saying we ain't getting ready we stand right you know what Greg thank you thank you Greg today I could have chose workout one or workout two and I think I'm gonna go to workout one today [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] after my lift I decided to get some shots up so I worked on my form shooting my three-pointers even my post-up moves foreign workout I decided to go into the culture for about 10 to 15 minutes and then when I got out I realized but I'm actually starving right now I need to get some food so I decided to go to my nearest Publix and I picked up one of my favorite fruits strawberries and you know I had to get that water gallon I realized that I have about two more hours until practice starts so I went to study hall and finished any assignments that I had to do I actually was doing a 1 000 word essay that was due at 11 59 so I was just rushing to do that real quick to be honest I did not feel like writing the rest of that essay so I started reading my favorite book How To Be A Winner by Bryce Wilson this is an athlete's mental health and performance guide from the greatest winner in sports in this book Bryce Wilson actually explains how to develop the 10 mental abilities that the greatest athletes and coaches have applied in their lives to become a winner I'm currently on chapter 3 which is courage and my favorite line so far in the chapter is embrace your unique qualities to realize their benefits now that is a powerful quote I feel like I had a very productive morning I feel extremely ready for this super intense practice so I heard today's practice is about to be super hard and uh I'm ready for it I'm ready for it but anyways that's my morning routine thank you guys for watching as always please like comment and subscribe if you're new please comment what you guys want to see in the future and I'm out peace and please pray for me because I'm gonna need it during this practice I'm out peace [Music]
