well good morning YouTube we got another hole probably good six to eight inches of snow last night real wet heavy snow it's a bit of been a little bit lighter we probably would have had a foot there's real wet heavy stuff slicker than grease towel [ __ ] I kind of wait at this board and we're gonna see get the door I got a set of chains I don't really want to throw them on I seen this morning I checked the roads and doors Hill we required chains just going over doors Hill so I was like oh man I don't want to put chains on just to covert or still get to take them off on the other side so I kind of waited around a little bit after 8:00 believe this morning I called a guy that was already down there and he told me that he said yeah they had to change sign up he said there Willie wasn't no reason to he's it would just slush so he said they had mostly cleared off and most of it was just kind of slushy Road we'll see I might have to throw iron on when I get down here but we got to go we got to work so ant little little he used to sew like this this needs to be really common you know when I was a kid getting snow like this and I think people forgot what it's like we had to get 10 and 12 year period to where we really didn't get snow like we used to get all the time what they call one of those weather patterns so we're kind of cutting along here heading down there good old walk on 35 oh you know what guys I fixed the speedometer on this thing I was looking around there and I didn't pay much attention when I had the it was already like that but I remember when I you know did the front cover that that alternator I only had one wire up to it well I looked down they're kind of hanging down there was another wire and that the I had broke off and then I found where it went on the alternator and I put a new eye on there and fix that and that speedometer has an acted up ever since I know that a lot of alternators Goods run that tack but not iddyn no one had anything to do with the speedometer that's been some kind of interference I'd have to look up a wiring diagram I've kind of curious I'm sure somebody out there knows but where's my damn coffee cup taken or something at a whole where there's some damn fingers [Music] then coffee in the bottom of that Sun again we're gonna go down here today I got to go to the shop first and yet get a truck out of there I got a reefer little reefer unit in there that's got a bad microprocessor on it computers bad on it it's not grounding some circuits there for the fuel on relaying stuff and then I've got to get that out of there so they can Elise it's cold enough right now they don't need the refree unit so there we're gonna order the microprocessor and they're just gonna fill their meat in there for right now and go deliver because he'll it's 25 degrees so you don't really need the reefer unit anyway but the diesel engine wouldn't start on it it would run on electric standby but not on diesel so anyway we're going to do that go get that out there then I went around to this he squeezed Hyster and I got to talking to a guy in Ontario and he provided me with some information I got to thinking about what he said he must have I must have not been real clear in the video because I'm sure if I told him this he would probably say it's not that there's this thing called the velocity fuse it's in the bottom of the cylinder and it's supposed to keep the say if a hose boat blows off the cylinder and you've got a load up in the air it's supposed to restrict the oil coming down and keep it from crashing down it's a safety measure what it is well all that's gonna affect is the mass cylinder itself that's not gonna if that if that was to hang up that wouldn't affect that wouldn't affect all the other I can't see that effect on the other hydraulics that's the math cylinder so yeah everything gets slow on this thing once it once it goes down then you try to I think the relief valve on that main valve bodies hanging is what I really cuz it's a gear pump open Center system so I got to find the relief out on that main valve lock and check yet anyways I'll be back with you when we get down there okay guys so we're gonna go back to tearing this apart so anyway there's a valve in the bottom of the mass cylinder okay and what it's supposed to do if that hose blows off its supposed to this one here I actually pulled it out and looked at it yesterday it's got like a spring and like a whole little plate with like an orifice it looks like to me what if the oil comes and compresses that or something it seems like to me that it'll slow the flow down coming out of the cylinder so the cylinder doesn't crash down it'll and when the oil is going the other way to push it up it'll it'll you know unseat that is what it looks like to me anyways there was nothing wrong with it and then I got to thinking that's not gonna cause all the other hydraulics to go slow that's just gonna affect the mass cylinder as far as I can tell and I called the hydraulic shop and he said yeah that's that one that won't make everything else slow it'll just hang up on the mass on there ones go bad so we still got something he's talking Albert they're nitro shop and he said no you got something going on in that valve he said you need to pull that valve back out and if you can't see and I pulled this here I thought this was the relief pull it out of there but there's nothing there's nothing behind it which is kind of what I thought those being tight in there these right here see if we can get earn explorers and twisted not to dam source of this service trust I get it another small pair of X players would be better the smaller are the smaller ones out there all got red handles on them so there they are right there two pairs of them right there okay this is an older pair the other pair that that guy gave me was a the spring loaded kind where you push the button to adjust them which is pretty nice oh really really that tight in there huh Wow okay that's tight in the ends of the pin is what it is so we gotta keep those in our pocket and gonna chisel don't try to get behind the head of it and you need to work its way out of there if we can get behind it may not be able to get in that hard huh that's a little bit odd I'd have to take it up on off on top yeah I don't remember going in there well that sucks let me get to the other side I'm gonna blew all this off over here we're trying to get some of the snow and the water off the step so I didn't have to lay in it [Music] and if you could sling hit the dirty bathroom on my hand I can't hang on to the hammer well this might comprise most of the video home be back where you want to get this pile of [ __ ] pin out of here okay but he called there and then of course he's on some screwed-up road there where he doesn't have any percent and then I lost him to about three times and he finally gave up with the phones also oh I kind of hope it stay a little bit colder and this stuff wouldn't fall out like this cuz this is gonna be a muddy mess anyways I guess it is what it is you can't control the weather of course if you're talking environmentalists they sure as hell want to this looks like a flow divider down here on the bottom and that's gonna be on that's gonna be the inlet over there from the poem something here let's see now that flow divider trying to kind of gauge this stuff out the tank is gonna be returned so maybe this is the inlet here no no no I wouldn't be that be returned because the inlet would be coming from the pump so this is the inlet going into this valve this is a high-school valve each us pretty sure uh-huh good valves I think it's a hose go valve as well but hmm that's kind of return goes back what does that go to right there just an open Center system but I love charters I deal with there's got to be a relief somewhere in the system and I guess pumps a positive displacement pump that means that that pump is always pumping a certain amount of fluid with a certain amount of pressure so if there's no load on the systems they have alpha being used anywhere you know oil has to go somewhere and some of them have tandem senator vowels where the valve has a it's ported to where the valve goes back to return the vowels not one that oils not being used and some of them some of the old stuff I remember used to work against the repeat some of the tractors actually work against the relief valve so what that means is that when it comes up against the relief and there's no demand on the system then the oil goes back to return the problem with that whole setup and that that kind of use is it builds a lot of heat get my air hose over here blow this off again cuz I'm tired of getting my knees with blow this off and Hana to get the damn water off of here let's just go all out and run down pull up on me I had a pretty mode right out [Music] okay that's a lot better trouble what are you doing there bud I'm gonna get another inch and a half an inch right here these are good wrenches these eske's I bought these a long time ago okay another thing I like about the sunnix wrench it's a lot lighter actually when you're trying to will that big wheel heavy s carry around in tight places it gets a little heavy on you some plugs but valves gonna drain anyway sorry for the huffing and puffing there I'm just I still haven't got rid of all the crap I've gotten rid of most of it my system [Music] I've called my buddy this morning and I said hey what are you doing he's hauling logs he's got a log truck and I said you know that you're supposed to just hold that thing wide open drop a gear and just hold wide-open throttle because it gets the same amount of fuel economy it hit rate at rpm than it does at a lower rpm he goes are you smoking crack and I said no I saw some guy said on the comment it doesn't matter what RPM you're on it gets the same fuel economy what when I work for the strawberry nursery the nursery actually bought eight of those track machines at once and they had 290 620 peas and the factory guy actually came out from John Deere not from the dealer from John Deere one of the engineers came out and he wanted to go over some of the implements and stuff they bought too because they bought you know millions of dollars worth of equipment and the engineer came out and I asked him where should we run this and he says he says these things have optimal fuel economy and optimum torque at 1800 rpm he said anything over 1800 rpm you're wasting fuel so I guess everybody at the engineering I guess they're all stupid you know I just I read that comment I didn't [ __ ] believe it yeah just just get you a truck there in just drop a gear and hold her wide open to maintain your speed yeah I'd probably like to put a get a double over 13 and put in this and and then half the holes you won't even have to hit you can use a splitter you know and select and pre-select and get where you want to be and once you get that figured out you can actually I just don't want a 6-meter so those things are a piece of [ __ ] my buddy had a couple service trucks Ken worsened he said he said he took him out to foot nines and tens and I me said they were always balling them transmissions out they just what is that it's an old two-stroke Detroiter over there somewhere I can hear that screaming Jimmy over there what the hell is that I think it's coming this way whatever it is make curious to see what the hell it is yeah it's a two-stroke er I don't know they must be down there Andrews Road or something okay you know what I'm thinking about doing this go around just putting a pair of vise grips on that nut and holding it just impact it off on the outside my advice grips are I'm just used on the other day there's a pair of needle-nose vise grips on I think some people just make comments to be confrontational I really do and I don't really care if you want to be confrontational that's fine that's all you got to do with your time I just laugh about comments like that cuz you got to be kidding me okay so order where in hell is the impact song as you see them you know whatever whatever on my Facebook page says yeah and now you're gonna have a hell of a time remember what everything is you know what you're exactly right even though I got a lot of that stuff label I still can't remember what the hell I even begin to look let's pull this bottom out here yeah that might work alright my problem is go fishing for damn I got lucky and ended up on the differential yeah then we got a late morning I kind of just wait around there at the house waited for the highway department to get door fill cleaned up a little bit okay how do we make out just still on there partially I guess it is maybe maybe we should take that off now stay there try to get somewhere I get I think about getting a chunk of water through the eyes on them and handheld and just kind of out of there you know what we need to do is pull this out of there again I'll make a life a little bit easier rooms I think you know I think the guy here in Ontario I think his name was Doyle I couldn't really hear him real well when he told me his name I think his name was oil there's real knowledgeable on these things though I don't know I probably didn't tell him that the other hydraulics were going slow too if I'd have told him that I think he would have probably came up with the same conclusion it was something else I think he was under the impression that just a mast was hanging up you know what I kind of find a little bit odd I find odd situation here so that is the inlet and it is a husk oh well here's the inlet there's an Allen head there for an adjustable like if they had a relief in there but I don't see a relief unless this cap down here this has got to be the relief right here that's got to be the relief okay guys I gotta get some more tools out here here's the relief valve pretty sure this is a relief valve the way they got this cap on there [Music] there's [Music] spring right there spring broke looks like it's really really collapsed you can see where that seats in there goodness somebody's got a two-stroke er over there screaming away can't have that and California all the Penguins are dying in Antarctica dirty bastards there's a body and thread from that part okay there you go whoa watch this it's okay puppy dogs where's my big plastic mallet watch this used to do this it used to be fun we still are kids we used to make sure somebody was standing underneath it though when it happened now you'd get in trouble for hazing or something if you did that to somebody is this little Val boy she sure has a groove in that seat huh huh hi dingus hi eNOS hi okay that goes in there and that's spring go over that is there anything else to that Valve really not really God I'm wondering if it's getting up there against that if it's getting up there against that Ridge that's got worn in that seat and it's hanging well that's got a hell of a Ridge worn in it well you'd think there'd be a backup ring or something on that seat right there but that ain't ain't much else to that valve on daisy girl so that's the inlet [Music] so oil basically is coming in here once that's in there it comes in through the port here right around here that's the relief is what that is pretty sure might be wrong though I don't know everything sure looks like it to me I wonder if that tapered seat that's got that big old groove worn on the edge of it like that is hanging in there gets up in there once it seats and just hangs I don't know that wouldn't make any sense because it would be hanging it was gonna be hang stuck open it'd be the other way like that to where it was bypassing so that doesn't make any sense that whole idea what about in here this is some kind of relief valve or something here too that's that might be a cause he's at a priority Inlet I bet that's a priority inlet valve is what that is and this is a relief with the set on it that's what that is that's a priority Inlet let's look at this daisy girl does this come apart can we put it in here and see if it hangs there's a blunt object to see if in spring it's actually got a needle on it doesn't it and that needle goes down in there so we probably oughta not be screwing that needle up well that's good drop the spring in the snow where you can't find it I got an idea might go easy on this and see if that valve hangs up on Daisy definitely spring-loaded oh that comes apart easy let's take this cap off here see what we got here see if this all an impact fires we'll take that off that's got yeah that's that that's the relief valve right there that is the relief get two brass washers on here okay that's the valve I don't know there ain't much to it basically that's just gonna where does it actually seat up at here's the seat on it right here on this little needle I don't really see a problem with that yeah I don't really see a problem with that guys okay guys so I don't I got to talkin to hydraulic shop and I toting some pictures and he said these are priority inlets with a drain that's what these are so we're gonna put them back we put new over and he said put new o-rings on him he said the motor Rings will bleed by and cause problems so we got new o-rings on him where did the but I was talking to him he says sound like to me you've got something going on with the main relief valve because he said it's affecting all the systems everything not just one function because what happens to one when when it does when you raise it up and you let it down and then nothing wants to work right anywhere so I mean even the clamp doesn't want to squeeze in or out the tilt doesn't want to hardly work the mass doesn't want to raise it almost acts like the main relief valve is hanging or something there so we might be exploring that and see if we can figure out what's going on with that [Music] what kind of fine odd is this you think there would be a work port relief on this valve section I got a melon head in there that's gonna I don't know what the hell that's all about that's kind of an odd thing kind of weird you know [Music] okay I gotta put this when I pulled this one out it just to kind of see how it was orientated how things were put together on it and I had it all together right so I'll show you here okay so you got this needle here okay okay this seat goes in there and that boy I put a new o-ring on these yeah okay then this needle will go in here the spring on it and there's another needle in here this section here all I got to put the brass washer or copper washer back on this so that seals back about what was and then that just goes in there like so somehow this works in conjunction with this when the oil comes in this is the inland the oil hits this tapered seat here it'll shove this up somehow and it operates that other in-between kind of needle there and hits this one to drain here well I'm probably way better and way more familiar actually with a with a closed Center system than I am on some of these old things like this but I think the main reliefs back here the main relief is back here I know if you guys can see this I think that's the main relief right there that goes back to the inlet that's the inlet on the pump or the yeah that'd be the suction side this is a discharge on one section here I think anyway might be wrong about that I might have to follow this other I died it's got to be the main relief right there has to be [Music] tighten that one up put it up I'll walk back in there I don't see anything else I mean there's really nothing else the spools are free I don't see either one of those hanging up there's no work port reliefs in this valve I'm not really certain what this is all about the standpipe with this line coming back like it's got a flow divider or something because that small line runs over to this valve over here which looks like a flow divider of some sort I'm not real certain what that's all about yeah so I mean the spools are not hanging up in it there's nothing hanging up in them I don't know okay well I'm gonna tighten that up over there put all that back together put this valve back in there I don't see anything wrong unless you know he did say the valve could be shot and weakened by so guys I'm just looking things over and just tracing out the full path of the oil okay so the oil is coming from the main from the it's a gear pump back there that runs off the back of the crank share the crank shaft off the back of the hey squeeze here okay and then that oil here's the inlet okay so the oils coming into this valve right here on the inlet okay this priority valve is going to allow oil to either drain or as opposed to it supposed to it's supposed to split the oil folk to dispose proportionately is what it's supposed to do and I think they're using this small adjustment on the in as a relief to drain back is what I think they're doing so anyway the way this to sell plumbed okay so oil goes through this whole valve and this other hose over here you'll see let me go the other side what I'm getting at is if there's something wrong in this valve then it's gonna affect everything because the inlet comes in here okay the outlet that basically the exhaust off that valve block is this hose right here okay so then this hose right here comes up comes into the inlet of this valve for the clamp so the outlet on this valve is feeding this valve that's this hose right here and this is returned going back to tank so that valve over there if something goes on in that valve then nothing else is gonna work right okay so there's something going on with that valve I got a feeling that bowels probably worn out but anyways we're gonna try it again I actually took the I actually took the spool and everything out of the inlet priority out of that one and I put in that one [Applause] Gregory I'm not wrong I've never opened the hood really I was just to 453 yeah my ass is gonna get all wet whatever we did guys [Music] go down [Music] everything's working fine now [Music] [Music] see it's lifting it at an idle it's working every time now [Music] go down with it this is what would happen right here you'd get down here then it wouldn't go up now it's every time yeah you'd even go halfway down working every single time now [Music] a letter sent from just a little bit with the deckplates back in it make sure we got everything tidied up here I'm gonna put the cotter pin xenos yet should I do those the word Emet cutter pins go bud get a feeling something something was in here the ice off the inlet priorities that valves of this valve most of its up rolling with that inlet priority it's not acting up over here they sure acted up it's working every time now I hate that one you don't know what the [ __ ] he did to fix it ate that [ __ ] I hate it when I see something that I physically look at and I can't tell maybe the mole rings on him inlet priorities maybe they were leaking past and allowing everything to bleed off hard to say man all you want in the cab partner smile for me jebel camu camu camu camu I'm not gonna smile for the camera you're not gonna smile for the camera come on peckerhead let's go get in there in Luke Luke was cold and shivering so I had to get him in the cab done shivering bud oh yeah you're not shaking now partner oh you had that nice bit nice okay I have lost a daughter pin somewhere son of [ __ ] okay well I guess I got more and hide my donuts in the Box you see no you don't eat my bill minutes [Applause] [Applause] how suckers going to go [Applause] in a hard-ass we're gonna put my bowl peen hammer I don't know I don't know that I've been this should be drilled p'nay job [Applause] just a little bit smaller Carter man they I'm gonna have that [Applause] it's working every time now [Music] [Music] yeah [Music] so the way this is all plumbed and all these valves are run in series the inlet from the pump comes into this valve block here that runs the the mainmast and it runs the tilt so if there's something wrong in that valve with one of those inlet priorities or spool I think I don't think it was a spool I think it was that inlet priority valve because I swapped that one to that one but I put new o-rings on them as well might have been the o-rings bleeding by on it so if there's something wrong in that valve none of the other functions are gonna work right now that we got it off let's just start again [Music] we will call this job completed guys well guys that's the end of this video I think I think what the guy there in Ontario I think I just think he was under the impression that just the master cylinder wasn't working correctly if that that route if that what do they call that velocity fuse in the bottom of that cylinder it's right there with that hose you can see that hose down there coming in there take the hose off then there's an elbow and then reach up then they take the fitting out of the cylinder and it's in that cylinder so if you take that out of there there's a spring spring in that little hole like a I don't come an orifice type look it's got three tabs on it and that that and a spool come out of there and I pulled all that out of there and then I got to thinking about it I thought well [ __ ] if that was wrong only that would not work right everything else should still work right no there's something else going on with this thing so anyways alright guys thanks for watching
