Modern Warfare 3: Lag Fixes (MW3 BEST Settings)

what's going on everybody today we're going over some Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 lag fixes and before we get into this video I want to ask you all to do something if this video help you if these lag fixes work hit the like button if it they don't work hit the dislike button I know other people can't see the dislike button but that is going to affect the algorithm and that's going to make sure that this video doesn't get shown to more people because I want to help people and I want these videos to help people if they're not helping people I don't want YouTube to be showing it also if I see a huge amount of dislikes I'll make sure to just delete the video now let's get into let's start talking about the first thing You' got to understand is a different types of lag there's lag that occurs where your screen is basically or your image is going slower so you're just getting that stutter in the image so this would be like your character on this screen doesn't feel to be moving fluidly something like that is usually an indication of graphical lag or graphical issues or sort of localized issues and then you've got other issues where the game will periodically sort of stutter you'll feel like you're just your character feels like he's moving or she's moving at a weird rate things like they hiccup a little bit if you will it's not going to feel as there's there's a different feeling to both of them one of them is more of a stutter and that tends to be internet lag and one of them tends to be just like a choppiness that persists throughout the game it doesn't come and go it's just always choppy that is going to be more of a graphical issue now of course graphical issues can pop up when a grenade explodes or you're near water and those are all things that we're going to go over how to fix but understanding those differences is important because if you're dealing with internet lag that's a whole different thing so if you've got internet lag there's a few ways that you can fix this first first off the one that most people run into is if you go into settings you go to Graphics there is this setting right here it should be under Graphics quality then go down to textures and under this you're going to see ond demand texture streaming so this does say that it has a low effect on your CPU but if you do have slow internet this can cause issues my sort of advice would be to turn on demand texture streaming off this is going to help with a lot of people now if you turn this off and you're still running into issues it could be an issue with your internet connection so make sure your connection is running fast enough that should be pretty obvious but also check what server you're connecting to sometimes if you're playing late at night and you're in the middle of nowhere there might be nobody playing at the same time as you which means now you're connecting to servers way often who knows where and that means that you're going to run into lag issues so yeah if you're connecting to a server that's too far off and you're getting a high ping because of that there's not really many fixes other than just wait for more people to come online in your region but you should be aware of that so you're not just running around looking for fix that doesn't exist now if youve got some graphical issues this is going to be how you're going to fix those first off Shader quality I found that this has a huge effect on my game play so going from high to medium was all it took for me to start running the game decently I moved it down to low just to make sure that I got that extra little oomph there in addition to this there's some things like persistent effects bullet impacts you can turn those off they don't really add too much to the game and that's going to save you a bit in addition texture resolution is something a lot of people have said really does change the way that the game runs so moving it down to normal low or even very low helps a lot especially in the case of having low vram now some other fields that you might want to mess with you can always mess with shadows that's going to not going to affect your game too much in addition to this a volumetric quality has a decent impact when it comes to GPU usage same with something like deferred physics quality weather grid volumes and water quality those are all ones that you want to turn down if you want to be lazy about it you can just go up here and reset to recommendation recommended go to minimum or whatever the best way to go about this turn everything down to the minimum see if the game runs faster and then start seeing what you can bump up and what you can't now if you're still having lag if this doesn't fix any of it I'd recommend going to view and what you're going to want to do here is start messing with the field of view so 120 field of view means you're just seeing more things there's more things going on your computer's processing more if you move it down to 60 some people found that makes a huge difference between a game that's laggy and unplayable and a game that you can feel like you're playing competitively now you only have a 60 field of view so you can't really play it too competitively most people find 90 is as low as they're willing to go some will go down to 80 but yeah even going from 120 to 90 does make a difference 120 to 80 again is going to make a little bit more of a difference and this is one of those things that a lot of people don't even think to mess with so field of view would be one thing that I definitely recommend messing with another thing you got to keep in mind is look into driver updates for your graph cards a lot of the time with big games like Call of Duty they're working with NV video they're working with AMD so when these companies release driver updates at the same time as a game drops it's not a coincidence they've been working together they've been engineering some fixes make sure you have those drivers installed also background programs close all of that a lot of people know this they're closing down Chrome they're not watching The Hub I get it but a lot of people might run Discord in the background they might have a few different sort of game application programs running in the background they might have one of those cool Des Toops it has nice effects to it shut all of
