Protectors of villages but under rare circumstances a Golem will actually go out of its way to kill a villager after winning a raid villagers will set off firework to celebrate your Victory but if one of those fireworks hits a roof and damages a Golem it's game over for the Villager firework safety is no joke bro apparently if you use commands to join a team and add a shulker to it it'll actually become your friend and helps defend you from mobs and enemy players I don't know about you but this seems like a tower defense minigame just waiting to happen pillagers can also become friendly but you don't even need to use cheats to do it all you need to do is make them shoot at you until their crossbow breaks after that they decide to give up fighting and just leave you alone every single type of zombie can spawn as a chicken jockey including the drowned unfortunately the drought will immediately Dismount the chicken so getting an intact drowned jockey for your collection will be a challenge but if you ever see a random chicken floating in the middle of the ocean now you know why if you use commands to summon an untamed wolf that's sitting it'll actually still be able to move around depending on the kind of dog you have in real life this might make the game just a little more relatable for some people for the first 11 days they existed in the game cows didn't have horns or their characteristic brown color instead their fur was black and white not only that but they made completely different sounds have a listen foreign zombies infect villagers by biting them right actually apparently not if a drowned kills a villager by throwing a trident at it it can actually be infected and turn into a zombie villager how the heck does that work did he spit on the tribe before throwing it that's nasty everyone knows that naming a mob dinnerbone flips it upside down but it doesn't work on everything for example if you rename a squid or a glow squid dinner bone it doesn't really care and just goes about its business as normal if you think this dog is cute then you don't have your head on straight or rather you probably don't realize that the heads of all baby wolves are completely detached from their bodies that's right if a baby wolf looks up at just the right angle it reveals that Ted is just floating there don't worry buddy your neck will grow in one day when you drink an invisibility potion mobs can't see you so you don't have to worry about crossing the planes at night however if you look at a cat you might notice they still turn their heads to face you that's because cats villagers and bats are still able to see the player even when they're invisible I guess bats can use echoloc location and cats have really good eyesight but how are the villagers able to look at you what are they hiding but invisibility potions aren't the only way to hide from mobs just sneaking is enough to decrease their detection range by 80 percent you can also use Mop Heads to disguise yourself as a particular type of mob and blend in with the crowd everyone knows that the Vex got an adorable new redesign in the 1.19 update that makes it better match the Olay but did you know that the old Vex could actually wear hats that's right you could use the item command to put almost any block or item onto their heads including end rods oh yeah that's intimidating but since remodeling the Vex this feature was removed and now we'll never know what these guys would have looked like as unicorns well unless I use cheats to fake it you probably already know that zombies have a rare chance of dropping iron carrots and potatoes but I bet you didn't know that if a zombie's on fire when they die any potatoes that they drop will be baked hey don't mind if I do foxes are very skittish animals they're even afraid of armor stands a fox will curl up and sleep almost anywhere but if there's an armor stand within 12 blocks they refuse to sleep I don't know what they find so scary about an armor stand I could take this guy easily clearly zoglins aren't as scared as foxes are because they run ahead first at armor stands and attack them they can't actually break them or anything but hey they're doing their best as long as they're not attacking me snow golems are incredibly fragile they melt in the rain they melt in water they melt in deserts they melt in savannas they melt in the nether it's ludicrous fortunately if you can treat them to a steady supply of fire resistance potions they're able to at least withstand the heat not the water though apparently magic potions can only do so much did you know it's possible to get a villager jockey without cheats all you need to do is find a baby zombie villager riding a chicken and cure it after it's cured it'll eventually grow up into an adult and still be riding the chicken finally a way to transport villagers with a lead unfortunately baby zombie villager jockeys are super rare so you're probably better off just using a boat this and a fact absolutely blew my mind when I first learned it not only can you feed pandas bamboo but you can also feed them cake isn't that adorable I'm not sure why they can eat cake because it doesn't even cause them to breed but hey now you know however not all pandas will eat cake different pandas have different personalities and that changes their AI worried pandas won't actually go looking for cake at all and they're afraid of monsters lazy pandas walk slower angry pandas relentlessly attack players who harm them and weak pandas have half as much health Brown pandas don't have any special AI they're just stylish you might know that hoglands are repelled by warped fungi because apparently they smell but they also run away from nether portals and respawn anchors when someone asked if Nether Portals were also stinky developer Henrik nieberg said that they actually just don't like the sounds that they make me neither hoglands me neither speaking of hoglands have you ever noticed that they have two differently sized nostrils it's a pretty small detail but it gives them a little more character this is true for zoglins too you only usually see their noses when they go to attack you so you're probably a little too distracted to actually notice this Minor Detail everyone knows you can't sleep in the nether well everyone except these guys villagers don't seem to care about the rules and will sleep in any Dimension they want all without exploding into pieces seeing them all cozied up makes me feel a little sleepy maybe I'll just lay down next to him and take a little when skeletons were first added they didn't have bows and they shot these weird purple arrows these couldn't immediately be picked up but would eventually turn brown allowing you to collect them for an infinite supply of arrows you probably know that ocelots were replaced by cats in the village and pillage update and can no longer be tamed that being said you probably didn't know that you can still approach them and feed them which makes them trust you trusted ocelots don't run away and they can be bred to make baby ocelots do they do anything else well no not really but it's nice to know that they still want to be friends after all this time if you see a zombie in full diamond gear you might want to avoid him but it's important to remember that any zombies wearing gear will give you extra experience points maybe it's a little risky but hey it could be worth it mushrooms hit by lightning turned brown alright big whoop why should you care well if you give them a flower you'll be able to milk them and get suspicious stew depending on which flour you use the stew will give you one of nine potion effects including regeneration fire resistance jump boost saturation and night vision who needs a brewing stand I'm just gonna start farming oxide daisies instead bats are known for being completely useless and having no features but this even extends to things like Redstone components if you try to get a bat to activate a pressure plate or a tripwire it's just not gonna happen bats are programs to not interact with these blocks at all so if you wanted a bat-based random input generator I tried looking for a different mob like bats rabbits also don't have many features one of the few things they can actually do is steal your carrots that's right if you let a rabbit have access to your carrot crops they will absolutely steal any fully grown carrots for themselves Faith get back here well I guess goats are officially the toughest mob in the game if a goat Rams into a player wearing a piece of armor enchanted with thorns it will never inflict damage to the goat additionally if a goat Rams into a hostile mob that mob just doesn't attack the goat maybe they're too scared to retaliate I mean I would be piglens live in the nether so you'd imagine they're pretty used to fire by now but apparently Soul fire scares them even if you just place a harmless little soul torch on the ground they'll Run for the hills don't think this will completely protect you however because if they're mad at you they easily get over their fears and walk straight through that barrier of torches baby turtles already have the award for the smallest mob in the game but they might just be the unluckiest mobs in the game too they're not only attacked by cats wolves and foxes but are also attacked by zombies skeletons zoglins husks drowns Strays and wither skeletons too what do all these mobs have against baby
