es oh my God Gotham Mass looking City that's in our [Music] world what the Blade Runner just happened was that like in our actual world you say it's so confidently this world has been just backlog Japan it was Gotham City couldn't you tell yeah true yes I mean they ran from me in the end yeah they ran from me three times ago was only a trick that [Music] worked you better dimple if you want to live any longer for real dang it yeah right cuz he he thought it was him did they take the kids too yeah right no they had such minimal Powers too we're real espers bro introducing ourselves me me levitating Sam right now this is the place this is Gotham City gosh it feels like finale [Music] already all right cool this episode was so jam-packed it felt really long actually and it was like the best one too yeah that was really long like it felt like it was a 40-minute Episode by the time we got to the halfway mark I was like we still have another half yeah and then it felt like the episode would have ended when we got to the end of the fight in the alley and there was still a whole bunch of like exposition to keep going to lead us to the next episode which is kind of I mean that's good and like I said this is probably my favorite episode so good job mob yeah that was solid I mean outside of like the Cool fight it's just it's just cool to be introduced to like the storytelling elements were all it was just cool to be introduced to like more to the story than just like brothers with powers and like I even from like a post talks you probably can already see like we're we're interested in like the narrative portion like the the show like it's a bit unique because on the surface it doesn't really feel like there's a whole lot happening cuz it's like like we said it's kind of like light and jokey a lot of time but there's obviously been like this underlying feeling that the show is going for about like the adolescence of these kids and where their emotions lie and where it navigates them but uh this was actually refreshing to continue man ritsu it's so funny cuz Mom is the main character but simultaneously like they're actually doing pretty well at filling and ritsu also yeah um giving him a lot of depth these past two episodes yeah um what a genuine conversation for an anime to have between the two brothers I feel like that's kind of refreshing for them to just kind of like spit out all their [ __ ] feelings towards each other or at least ritsu it's kind of it's sad too though once again oh yeah I mean like the animosity that they have or that he has for him over you know just feeling insecure and insufficient about who he is compared to who he who brother is and then also like you know he he did genuinely fear his brother I mean he saw his brother beat up all those people that beat him up so he was like man I'm kind of scared of him because clearly he snapped at something and if I make him snap you know and like we don't get the full backstory on their relationships we don't know if that ever happened another time but mob's emotions they did go up when him when the when the brothers had interaction like it went up to 7% which is not much but just saying that even the brother can it's not like even though mob is very protective of his brother his brother can still do things that can set him off and irk him so has that happened before we were just not aware of it I mean I don't know I feel like they would have brought it up of like you you hit me once too or beat me up but still regardless for a younger brother I can imagine why you'd be scared you know yeah it's it's hard to know cuz like the show the show hasn't taken the time yet to explore what is the real reason for Mob being kind of comos in his personality like other than the the the bully the like the bullies that got beat up back then was that the moment that mob kind of lost all form personality I mean there's not a whole lot of room these kids are middle schoolers so I I guess that might be the only thing but I don't know if there's like anything else that would have led to mob being the way he is but for Mob is such a like a sweetheart that it's kind of wild to me that Ritu feels like he couldn't Express himself to mob because I mean a lot of people just exess I like I don't know it's weird that ritsu feels the way he does CU it feels like everybody in their mom shares their feelings towards mob and the same response is always the same it's very minimal results that you get well I think he's just I mean he's just scared cuz he's seen the extreme of it he walked he on eggshell because he knows what the end could be CU ultimately too it's like you don't really like until mob hits that like 90% or like 85% area he you don't really notice that he's annoyed there isn't like it's not like he's like at 10% he's like okay and then at 40 he's like you're kind of pissing me off like there is no there's no cue to figure out where mob is on the cycle so so it's like you know by the time you do something it's too late it it's it's weird too like the 7% like that kind of thing that's not abnormal it feels abnormal because the way the show structures it it's like well if you go to a limit you're going to kill people yeah but also like today's example is the triggering event to immediate 100 is in like hurting the brother so for the brother to be scared it's all to me it's like that 7% That's the okay perc and I feel like if mob just understands that that that gaining is okay then he can be a normal person like what he's feeling is okay it's just the way he's channeling it is like the bad part the very unhealthy portion so I feel like the show needs to start to like I don't know how they get to that point of conversation but I mean ritsu ritsu is like I feel like ritsu is the the trigger if ritsu has to be the one to piss him off for him to realize the end result doesn't have to be murder murderous intent because it has to be coming from like the brother to be like well I'm at a 100 yeah who am I going to use it on well I think the only other thing too is like maybe ritsu just needs to be powerful enough to like subdue M like they actually do need to have a brother fight yeah you know outside of just being childish and being like I want to be able to beat up my brother or be able to like stand toe to- Toe with my brother he just needs to have it out you know do you think there's actually like another person in mob I like I I'm still not really sure how like what the show is going with with uh the narrator during tera's episode was like Taro had no idea what he was watching when he went to question mark question mark like it was almost as if it was another entity oh yeah and then there was that episode that ended with ritsu sitting at the TV and it flashed back to him and the Revelation supposedly was that wasn't my brother is that just like metaphoric like they don't feel like it's the brother cuz he's lost sight of himself or is like an actual other thing like a possession um I your guess is a good as mine I kind of lean towards it's probably just like a part of the brother that's just so suppressed that nobody realizes that it exists within him I don't necessarily think it's going to be like a spirit or entity or a diple a dimple that's underneath you know it's not going to something like that yeah you you'd think there would be some form of hint if otherwise cuz dimple oh oh maybe not cuz dimple hasn't possessed mob I was going to say if mob had been possessed by him maybe dimple would be like hey somebody's already hosting you yeah or like uh possessing you but that hasn't happened so I don't know maybe it's open-ended so far so that we don't know for sure yeah but um yeah then we got the fight the fight was awesome well sorry not between the brothers but the fight between the N uh yeah the the pierced lip man and right and they did they murdered everybody at the labs and I think uh I think those kids there's a chance the kids that got arrested like Elvis Presley and the other ones the the twins from the intro maybe they're going to be a part of the cronies the the baddies cuz the sword guy who came in and pulled up right now it's just the sword guy and the the Mohawk guy we don't know if there's any more of them maybe they are going to recruit some of the Lesser people I don't know yeah they're just a little too weak maybe not but yeah and we got introduced to the hooded figure yeah the Mohawk man there wasn't a name was there I don't think so we haven't been named swordman and Scarface um damn he looks so familiar no familiar familiar yeah okay interesting I mean I don't know why not like your not no it's like your dad my dad not from this show he just feels familiar from like anime like he looks like another character I just don't I can't really Place why he reminds you think you've seen a clip of mob psycho before no I don't think so um I don't know I don't know what an i me may I maybe I'll have to think on it yeah what an awesome fight though like just uh you know I everything about it was just the stuff that this show does is like so trippy when it comes to the fight like we're paused when we're seeing the Mohawk Pierce man when he's got his like fight you know fists up in the fight said don't underestimate me brat but it was just cool to see like the barrier like in like initially they did barriers earlier in the season but when I saw barrier I thought it was just the silhouette of the energy around mob but it's not it's literally like a bubble and you can see like the shine of the energy go by and it even like refracts the light and makes them look a little bit different so anyways I just think that's really cool because it's something you just don't see too often um and is telekinetic Helix like powered up I mean just it gave him strong fists there's nothing crazy about it but it it it was effective though it was very effective pretty intense the way mob got handed yeah mob mob gets folded pretty decisively throughout this fight until he snaps there's a lot of good like animation in this episode we're looking at the the fight sequences I'm probably not going to remember the things to throw up but just for reference like this this the way they do like slow-mo in the show when a character gets hit it almost looks like real slow-mo it doesn't look like somebody framed shot for shot cuz it's so kind of flawless it's really nice and like the way his hair flew or towards the end of the fight animation is just getting so damn good and it's funny CU this doesn't like this isn't like Demon Slayer where it has like a a gloss and a Polish look to it it's not even like Jiu-Jitsu Kaizen that has like a really nice 4K look but you can tell like that this is really like well done anation it keeps the goofiness of the animation but still does it at like such a high quality in these moments that it just looks very good and even the stuff of like when he when mob goes crazy and he like they go supernova into the sky and he slams them down and when he basically makes contact with the ground what does the flash of the universe real quick for a sec it's just or space it's so it's a cool touch to add to the fight and I have no idea what the hell that means other than just being visually like wow so cool yeah he punched him so hard that he opened up another reality I like I don't know one of my favorite things in anime and this show is already done it a couple times is uh like the way concrete slabs like break and explode around something into it my my hair has done that a lot too yeah love it looks cool it's a really cool effect uh you see a lot of times but it it shows like the crater impacts and makes you really feel the punches that are being thrown around I love that you were like saying for a moment is there even an alley cuz it looked like they destroyed the whole alley then the alley reappeared yeah well that's what I like sometimes in in stories when the planes sorry I'm pausing cuz I want to see the universe portion again we we're watching the sequence yeah he's getting full throttled down to earth it it looked at like a shot we saw from fire force too like that right there and my her look that's like Todoroki and deu right there y just the random spit yeah is like Todoroki andu um but I sometimes I like when okay have you ever played a Pokemon game before it's fine if you hav briefly oname I don't know if other Japanese RPGs are like this but so when you know it's like you'll be standing like you could meet someone in this room this isn't a very big room for people that you know can't see it but you'll meet someone in this room to fight for Pokémon battle and then there's a scene transition and then the room becomes like a bigger version of the room you know what I mean to like or like if you were in a hallway and the hallway was like relatively big but then when you go into the actual fight it like expands the space even more to make it look like you're fighting in a stadium esque thing no matter the situation or where you're at so um I don't know I like when stories do that you know it was funny that made it seem that alley was completely gone but it was cool to see them like in their own not Lial space but their own area that they're fighting in and not necessarily have to worry about the constraints of what's going on around them it was very shortlived of course cuz then he's throwing him into the walls and back and forth um just nerdy animation stuff and yeah and then ritsu was just taken away he he he got you know mob got pepper sprayed and Bamboozled on conscious and ritsu was able to sneak away with him also shout out to terara this episode he really pulled through after he got his ass handed to him he's kind of been like the MVP for us he's helping the story plummet forward and he's also like keeping things together like I like that he's like the the advisor kind of the role I thought aak would play a lot more but I guess because aak is not powered I think yeah uh he can't really play much of a role with the superer portion of it so I like that Tera is kind of like he's not the strongest one but he's like the one who knows like he has experience like today he filled Us in on like the cult the evil cult that wants to take over the world because they've been chasing after him today which was that was a cool like lore dump we have Gotham that Will was talking about some crazy City where they're stealing superpowered people children try trying to use them to destroy the World At Large yeah and just be become the rulers of it and that's the reason teros had his own apartment how weird what a weird thing and they're also trying to manufacture psychic powers as well kind of like what the dude was doing that got Ritu involved in the first place claw claw's the name yeah well I mean the whole claw portion being added in definitely makes the story a lot more exciting it feels bigger in scope which makes the it makes it more exciting exciting for me because it feels like there's a farther destination to get to rather than adolesence yeah yeah that's that well that was the thing that I was ex like that made the episode interesting to me because it's like there is something more that we're dealing with the the emotional stuff in like the inner workings of each character or well specifically the brothers is definitely very interesting but but it's but it's fun to have a story and things happening and people being involved in you know the tqi blonde pillar head boy you know he's he's involved I like that characters are joining the story and staying in the story it's not just like the club girl that's the president wants to be a telepath that she's just there and just does the telepath thing like she's not involved in the story she doesn't really add anything whereas these other characters like dimple like tqi like Reagan you know like they all are adding to it and I like that too cuz I wouldn't say the show was too on the nose like it was too it was too clear I mean it reminds me a little bit of Chainsaw man where that show was like story driven and we had to like kind of infer that the plot was more about like the emotional side of those characters where this it's like the kind of the opposite there was really no story to lead anywhere but we were just sitting with characters that have to deal with their emotions so it's nice that we have more of an incorporation of a a a Tob location that we can now fight the claw and also deal with our feelings yeah cuz half the characters weren't that interesting to me like I don't really like I've said before I don't really like the school characters that much other than onara because like a lot of them don't have a lot of depth other than mob or like potential depth cuz all of them are like odd we got the trash can guy we got the two girls that don't really serve a purpose yet like one's trying to find info the other girl is just a and girl and then the muscle club's just the muscle club they're cool but like yeah the story's been most of the characters that aren't really a part of our specific school so yeah this is exciting uh oh else guys let us know lettu your favorite part on Burger let us
