bummer for us on steel Bender we broke the rear drive shaft I was anxious to find an immediate solution we did find a shop South of town who built us a shaft on the spot and it seems to be holding up great well think twice before letting your wife drive your vehicle can you tell me your side of the story everyone I just needed this jacket and so I drove 5 minutes down the road and then it made a banging noise and now it's broken but everyone knows it's always Jordan's fault whose fault is this out here well the one driving when it broke was my wife but it's not my fault it's it's not her fault it was me driving out yesterday so I need to take the blame even if she was driving definitely driving so when we broke the drive shaft we had to get out in front wheeel drive I knew I was beaten on him pretty good I did push it pretty hard made it out fine and the next day my wife was cold and my wife's like hey I'm going to go get a sweatshirt I'm like hey take the Jeep but that axle broke at the ujoint and that wasn't a good moment for me I was like I will never find this axle my trip is over so I'm Craigs listed going crazy we found one like an hour from town bought it from the guy put it in the Jeep and it doesn't engage just spins again not a great moment for me and I'm like God you know just can't win for losing didn't work it didn't work nope the guy was wrong about what he had we didn't have the tool to pull it apart and so we got it and we tried it so the Jeep's here they're put about together in three wheel drive I don't know I might be land through tomorrow we might be my truck but we're going to have fun the rest of this trip one way or another we decide our our only option is to beg and plead for welding the Yol is fine so we cut that off we've ground it down beveled it so we're going to weld that guy and then we took the spindle cut the end of that off we use that to reinforce it and so it weld two pieces after W this around there less than ideal but you know the shot's already broke so I mean if this works awesome if it breaks again we're back where we started and we'll just keep going we're calling businesses and I'm like hey hey I'm some random guy you don't know can I use your welder and I had a odd request um I was curious if it be possible to rent a welder from you for like 15 minutes is it possible to rent your welder and I get a shop that's it's kind of like not on board with what I'm trying to do but they're like come on down we might have what you need I'm like done gentlemen uh just go with that guy so we're getting our stuff ready and at the last second he's like you know let me just check one more place I mean opens up this back door promis there very prom somebody start the sply count a 30 winner winner chicken dinner thank you guys engaged like position just fine looks like it was mint going there Dam [Music] you know all that lost time meant you know pret was kind of out and that's when we chose to do Cliffhanger which is a little hard Trail all right we are here at Cliffhanger it is the last day of our adventure in Moab sadly we didn't get the prit hit we want another challenging Trail and Cliffhanger at but I talk through the rigs we got today um this is the CJ7 this is our blueprint for building the Wagoner this has the awesome 401 that's in this one you know pretty built engine it's a manual transmission it's got a locked 44 in the front with 456 is it's got a locked 88 in the rear with upgraded shafts and uh 456 of course in Detroit and whatnot awesome rig uh spring under suspension but really well sorted you know relocated perches mounts uh Flex is awesome for a spring under does great Wagoner no one around the world for its reliability and never breaking down no this strip has been oh I guess what you expect when you build it and finish it like as you're coming out here kind of the same combo of axles as the CJ there uh 44 front out of a wide track 88 in the rear also upgraded shafts this one locked has 488s uh selectable from locker but you know doesn't really matter out here just Locker uh 401 g400 you know so far that that's been doing good at least so uh overheating seems fine now that we did the mechanical fan upgrade this is uh this is an interesting one so this is James uh rots rig this once upon a time was an F-150 it resembles a Bronco more now given its length he did a significant wheelbase shorten on it that dovetailed the rear it is still Factory axle setup 88 in the rear 456 is in this guy he's got the ttb in the front still the funky suspension but it works good a locked chales he's on 37s which is the biggest tire in the group the same as the JK over here um but it's it's a neat rig it works very well this is LS powered it's got a 6 l in it um and it's a a very capable rate and then this is the other James James latrell's uh JK the uh I guess Quint essential Moab vehicle right now uh this guy's up on 37s um kind of mild upgrades to it it's you know a little bit of lift um stock axles I believe um he has you know some different bumpers and whatnot but these things kill it out here they just so good and this four four-door wheelbase you know for these big climbs does exceptionally well so anyways it'll be fun to see how it does and compares to the rest of them on the trail here this is probably the cheating one so we'll make sure On's wheelbase you know I mean this vehicle is incredible but no rear locker and these stupid rockers for this obstacle just suck well yeah the sway was getting us there and that might have I don't want to claim victory without it but it it sure wasn't helping right then and what's going on there is the sway bar link is like a factory short one and this thing has so much travel it maxes out and then goes the wrong way and it locks a suspension kind of in a downward position [Music] uhoh is that yours that's mine no way um it has turned off but it's never not started back up immediately Michael can you try carefully driving yeah can you loosen it up cuz I'm under a lot of [Music] tension want to dais change to the wager yeah the Wagoner is about to uh do what it's best to have the fing awesome all the rigs did great I was proud of the Wagoner proud of all the guys we had kind of the more capable Rigs of our group this time a couple minor issues we had an altern charging thing we had some JK stuff that we knew about going into this you know we had the um rear locker and we did know about that rear Locker not working so maybe maybe I was supposed to fix and what were you supposed to fix nothing The Rock oh yeah yeah yeah the rock anchors yeah so if either one of us had done either of the things that we said we wouldn't had to winch yeah but it was a great Trail great day yeah it doesn't get much better than that it only took four days to not break yeah yeah well you know you got to dial her in you wouldn't want to do it before you come to the trail what kind of show would that be yeah I know probably a good one with with subscribers everyone let's go to dinner all we're out of here [Music] go [Music]
