Mixbus 10 - Pre Fader Sends

in this video we're going to look at preader sins in mixb version [Music] 10 hey guys I'm Nathan from Harrison audio and welcome back to the channel now a very popular mixing technique from the 60s and 70s was to send all your channels preader to a Reverb bus or a chamber back in the day and then do your mix and then push up your faders that add in the dry signal so let's check it out here in mixbus so I have a Reverb on mixbus 12 so right now I can bring down all my faders and also send all my channels to mixb 12 and then I can rightclick and choose preader for each one and now with the mixb Sy knobs I can make a mix going into that Reverb [Music] okay so there's the Reverb mix now let's add in the dry channels so cool you can use preader stands for parallel compression or other techniques and if you are using mix in a live situation you can use preader SS to make a headphone mix but a better way to do that would be using the fullback bus then use the fullback internal mixer to create your headphone mix so thanks guys for watching if you have any questions about mixb version 10 be sure to leave a comment down below and as always I'm Nathan from Harrison audio I'll see you in the next video
