Mission To Secret Russian Space Research Station

[Music] right now we are in Ukraine there is a Soviets research facility on the right of us still semi-functioning it has a couple of huge satellites in the Soviet times and now they used to mostly track he caused me weather intercept radio frequencies do all kinds of you know military research type as we drove around the perimeter there were guard booths yesterday we actually tried to get into the territory of a tank manufacturing facility that didn't pan out that well because it was quite in the middle of the city and the security was way up today I'm going to try to sneak in a tank manufacturing facility it's still some active but since fall of the mighty Soviet Union there's a lot of abandoned tanks now it is quite heavily guarded as you can see they actually extended the fences looking through the maps into this place I do not know how many guard posts there are in this area there is a guard booth elevated and said is that phony guard booth and we seem to see a human-like figure inside it he's literally out right now and he's looking at it this is a bus dog all right so we already got whistled a guard saw his there the guard saw us on the other side I don't think he's gonna be doable but I just want to see the damn tanks like I said we saw guard boots here but I assume they're gonna be a bit less aware of people coming in I see one of these satellites right now so we are not necessarily going to enter through this angle we're just gonna look around which angle is the best to get in but as you can see this forest it's really that right there is the first radar and that like tip right there is the top of a second radar hope everything goes according to plan even though we're kind of improvising this the thing that else forgot to mention was that this place technically did not exist until the mid 2000s although people knew about it of course on papers it was well hidden and that direction is the main entrance there is another booth there they have guards it's worse than cameras it's like I said there should be pardoned if they're there the initial placement of the fence there's a pretty good advocate to go in we're gonna try to get him go through the left side now we're on the other side of the left side field [Music] okay so this side it's not seem to have any boots on the edge wants to go along that's I feel like if we go through this part there's dogs running around there they're gonna hear us it will be better to cross the field but that is gonna bother us so we're gonna try to avoid the field it's risky because the dogs there that site we don't want to go because the white booth might see us going in this one this is like a suicide mission if we go away it's so hard to get out quick and also guard booth you can see all the way through this radar from that side so if we go anywhere near the radar not when you're pushing so we're gonna be like visible sheep they're just like luck let's go so this was just got a people who spoke English barely we told them we're just dumb tourists oh we drove we saw big radar antenna and we fly I hit my as DS I said oh I didn't see no SD they didn't check passports they didn't take photos of us they didn't do anything but like who you bad and let us go now if you're gonna try this it's probably not gonna be the same case we already use the dumb foreigner cards so probably not gonna fly for you but hey good luck anyway this is sick [Music]

Damn, the size of that antenna is massive. It's hard to get a feel of it through video, but how did the top of it compare to the Duga radar in Chernobyl?

Also, it's cool how the guards let you guys get off so lightly. I expected a different situation from a military grade research facility with that many active guards and dogs.
