Mini Van Camper Conversion | Van Tour of Minivan Converted to Classy Tiny Home

foreign [Music] [Music] hi welcome back to our channel well we've done another van build actually it's more of a change in the build back a few months ago we went ahead and built a kitchen area in the back here and you cook outside well we decided that we want to take our van down to the lower 48 and drive around a little bit and cooking outside in the rain and the wind just didn't seem very nice so we went ahead and redid the build and we'd like to show you what we did so come on along well during the day we like to use this as our sofa area and hanging out and then at night time we can lay it down as a bed so what we will do is take these up here [Music] and then during the day [Music] here we want to eat we have a table pour your little chains out here [Music] and if you're looking for storage we got plenty of it on both sides one here and one over here they go pretty deep down in there you got your clothes that's the dog extra dog food this is a pretty pretty big container underneath here [Music] easy access now we come to the kitchen area we have storage underneath our cook stove you can pop out and cook up top here more storage storage is very important in your small van this is our little sink with our water the water tanks underneath we'll show you that in a little bit and nice little spice rack these are really nice little hanging lights and their solar or you can plug them in to charge now we ordered this rechargeable fan on amazon and it'll actually run for 24 hours on low and for nighttime privacy bonnie made some curtains now we have the wood dowels you can buy those at home depot we fix those in the back that way you can have our privacy in the curtains and across the front as well [Music] of refrigeration well we went ahead and ordered a 12-volt cooler now we can't get those shipped up to alaska so we're just going to pick it up at the post office in seattle and we'll go ahead and plug it into our electrical there and that's pretty much what that's for that is mostly to run that cooler all the time it has plenty of juice in that battery pack we just have a little extras you know for the phone and whatever you might want to use for cooking in the fan or charging up other things like your computer so that will take up this space here then you'll be able to move around when you want to and we'll show you later on how that one works you try to utilize as much space as you possibly can because you're in a minivan you're not in a big sprinter van that was next so we got storage here and this is for our restroom or when we go shower we have all of our little things in here you know you know all your necessities get tucked away and for our electrical we chose to purchase one of the battery banks we got at rei and you can go ahead and plug in 120 or charge up your phones charge up your fan and use your computer and you can plug it into the car while you're driving to charge that up and on top of the vehicle we went ahead and put two 100 amp solar panels so while we're sitting still and not driving we still can get a charge to our battery bank [Music] nice and nice and tight that's it people don't even notice there and for our water system pretty straightforward [Music] get your gray water outside table you can cook in so you utilize all the space you can in these little tiny minivans but this way at least you can stay out you don't have to get a hotel room you can stop by one of the gyms like planet fitness and to go take a shower every day wherever you're at because those are pretty uh pretty cheap to buy [Music] [Music] okay we're ready to head on down the road let's go well tomorrow we're going to go ahead and ship the car from anchorage alaska down to tacoma washington and then we're going to jump on highway 90 and drive from west to east all the way across the country why don't you guys join us we're gonna go have some fun let's go thank you for watching please leave questions and comments below don't forget to ring the bell and hit that subscribe button this will notify you when we post the next video which will be the details on how we did this build see you next time on the joy of life [Music] you
