what's going on everyone today we're going to be reviewing and demonstrating unboxing all of it the milwaukee 2 gallon quiet compressor is it quiet how quiet is it how old does it hold charge i mean how nice is this thing this thing is much more expensive than it's like other cake pan counterparts so we just gotta check it out for [Music] ourselves [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh that was just the air filter we installed right there in the left hand corner farther than that this thing is ready to go out of the box it didn't have to put out any real external stuff and right now it's actually on its side it's not even flat like it's supposed to be you see the bumpers on the back right there so this thing lays flat but i have it up here like this just to show you one of the reasons i really paid for this the storage the usefulness of this thing being an almost rectangular shape my ability to store it in my tool storage later on in my small garage it's a big giant reason why i got this on top of the fact that it is a cordless brushless m18 tool and of course it's a milwaukee thing it's beautiful comes with its own regulator right there you can see the pressure build up you can control how much pressure comes out into the hose it has settings all the way from zero to 130 and then from zero down to max there's a lot of adjustability on the regulator system itself and this is a complete cordless tool this takes an m18 battery we're going to go ahead and test a 5 amp hour battery and then we're going to go ahead and test an 8 amp hour battery we're going to discuss the differences between both the main reason that i bought this was because it was battery powered it didn't require record and that was a major turn off on all the other units from high to low that i was looking at when i was running through home depot so i picked this one up and picked up a few accessories pick up pneumatic hose pick up an air hammer this is what i'm really getting it for small tools like this for smaller jobs like brad nailing or rivet gun or in this case an air hammer with a low regulator to buck rivets that we're gonna have to modify one of those chisels to for the m80 milwaukee batteries the five amp hour and below are more compact but don't have as hard of a punch and the six hour and above have a much higher like output rating so we're going to be trying an 8 amp hour battery on this unit to see how it does and then we'll also be trying a 5 amp hour just for the heck of it to see if it can pull this thing all right so let's go ahead and turn it on that thing is quiet i mean i had these these earphones on so i thought i was going to be loud i think it's abysmally quiet it doesn't sound like nothing that's a brushless motor man that's quiet so my microphone was having some issues but we are going to go ahead and give this thing a full charge and let it go all the way up in pressure but let's see what it caps out at [Applause] freaking sweet so i have an air hammer ready to go with the installed chisel we're going to go ahead and give it a few squeezes and see what it can do so this unit at least held pretty steady when i put it on the regular yeah the tank dropped yeah i couldn't go forever yet ate up air within the tank but it stayed pretty consistent on the regulator when i had it at 30. in fact 30 was i think maybe too high for what i needed or maybe just right i don't need much higher than that i know i he need to hire at other points for certain things but that was pretty good that's exactly what i needed for and the fact that it has its own built-in regular and i have to get another regulator and attach it to the gun itself pretty excited freaking sweet this is exactly what i need i need to do small jobs i'm only going to use this spurts at a time whenever i'm tightening rivets like buck rivets what so worth the money obviously it's it's quite expensive compared to like the average corded one but considering the portability and the way it's shaped and your ability to store it like i can store this and it'll go right in with all my pack out stuff like it'll fit right in my my my tool storage lockers that i have in my in my areas it'll go right in there like finally i don't have to deal with some of these things i just had it on there for a little bit let's see what it did to the battery battery's still full battery is still 100 percent full so and that's an 8 out maybe it can run off a five amp let's go test it with a five amp with a five amp hour battery a brand new one and see what it can do so this is a five amp hour battery i would run this on most of my like drills and drivers and smaller tools and it does just fine but the difference between a 5 amp hour and a 6 amp hour battery the power output is substantial it is immediately noticeable the 6 amp hour and above batteries generally puts any milwaukee tool like way above whatever it would do with the 5 amp but just for you know example's sake let's try out the 5 amp and let's see if it'll actually kick that motor on and see if it'll get it up to its full charge and let's see how long it will go before we kind of lose kaput and you have to kind of stop the gun for it to recharge [Applause] okay everyone now it's climbing actually so this has to be on zero while it's pressurizing mental notes actually it's climbing all the way up now once i took it off the rag it's actually really climbing pretty fast now not as fast as the six half hour and above but still it's carrying it it's gonna make it all the way huh look at that oh everyone it plugged out at 140 didn't make it all the way will it keep up it's going it's doing it [Applause] yeah it drops a lot okay so probably definitely home depot running specials for the six amp hour for like two for like just under 200 bucks it's pretty good deal for two six hour batteries or you can get like a 12 amp hour battery for the same price so if you have like a brad nailer or uh like a pneumatic rivet gun or in that case an air hammer where you're just using it sporadically and it has times to recharge on the 6 amp robot battery it will definitely do pretty well we saw it struggle on the 5 amp or the 5 power did get it up so if you wanted it for like super single use obviously when you pulled it um it's recharged like you can only go so far up that regulator before it started to really cap out even at the 30 which is like its lowest setting it started to phase out so if you wanted to like constant recharge you'd have to keep upping the regulator while you're using the tool to get any sort of real time out of it but on the six ampere and above you could you could keep it on a regular spot and it would recharge and more or less keep you on point there at least for a little bit longer and so for sporadic movements that you need in a portable setting i think it's absolutely a fascinating a fantastic tool to have and i'm glad to have it to my deal and i'm hoping that'll take care of all my pneumatic issues and i don't need a bigger tank i mean really i things that came to me in mind strengths portability obviously like more portable than anything else storage ease of use very very nice i'm glad to have it well worth the money check it out
