hi guys in this tutorial I'm going to show you how to fully manage your bandwidth first I will show you how to use module rules to mark pockets and configure q3 and with this configuration you'll be able to manage your bandwidth for all the SCP clients automatically so let's get started so we go to IP firewall click on manual and then we're going to add a module rule changes the chain to forward then in interface will be your 1 interface that that is the interface that is connected to your modem then go into action with action mark connection then we call these connections we wait so what we're doing now is to mark all connections that are going that are going coming into the router so when the modules connection I'm going to call this mark and go to put a comment on that so know what it is ok next winter mark although all of those pockets for the connection so for connection need to select those connections and then we're going to mark those the packet that goes through that connection with a marking College clients don't DW okay put a comment on that next we are going to do the upload traffic No so with upload we're going to use a pre routing instead of forwarding and the in Te the in interface will be and in interface will be the bridge which is my main bridges bridge 1 so it will be the main bridge and then we're going to mark our connection call it and up and then we are going to mark all those pockets so for our nation mark going to select content client up then we are going to mark all those pockets call it and op pocket okay next the next I'm going to create some more rules these is rule will be for browsing traffic peer-to-peer traffic and any other traffic so I'm going to create the rules for HTTP traffic and HTTP traffic those are what a cloud browse in traffic so in change protocol to TCP and then the port is going to be 80 which is HTTP the port at HTTP uses and forward is at 443 for HTTPS traffic and then for the pocket mark went to set when to use all download pockets we went to mark those and meet this criteria which is in a in the download traffic that is used in port 40 port 80 or 443 and then action mark pocket going to call this HTTP download but it and then for pass-through going to uncheck that and the reason why we are unchecking it is to prevent the traffic that is flowing through this rule from going into another rule so we want to stop the traffic at this point and then pass it on continued route in it so okay we're going to create one for upload now for browsing traffic used by the same port 80 and 443 and the packet mark will be client upload and action with Mark doors pockets as HTTP up buckets no not my download those so far through either okay okay but I'll make other next rule no this rule would be for peer-to-peer traffic so going to click on peer-to-peer I'm going to select all peer-to-peer we want to mark all creatopia traffic look at the client mark and this will be for our downloads or peer-to-peer downloads and then action mark pockets when we call this three 2p down targets when unchecked pass through when to create the next one no for peer-to-peer upload so all upload packets that that are peer-to-peer will be marked in the martinet so let's p2p of sockets uncheck pass-through make a comment and then lastly no we're going to create one for any other traffic another traffic that doesn't meet this criteria so ever the mark HTTP traffic coming in and out of the rota peer-to-peer traffic that is our that is passing through rota and no we're going to mark any other traffic that pass is true so we're going to select pocket mark download serialize you have not selected anything any criteria because we want to capture any traffic that pass through the route that meets that criteria action and then mark pocket I'm going to call this other down pockets say one answer that no pass through I'm going to make a comment or comment pocket values honor when you create the next one no for other upload we went to Madras connection on the college order of pockets okay good so let me just recap what was done here the first I've created a connection marking for all traffic that is that is passed into the one interface so that is all the download traffic that is coming in went to mark those connections just the connections in this rule then we're going to use that connection and then mark all the packets that is coming through and the same here we are doing the opposite we're marking for the uploads anything that is going that is going to the internet so when Tamar those connections and then that connection would mark a pocket that is going to that connection and for HTTP so all the download HTTP traffic Salah browse in traffic will will pass through this rule and on the browse and upload traffic will pass through the HTTP op rule and then peer-to-peer so these two rules will be managing peer-to-peer traffic to mark all the packets that meet this criteria and then other download is any other traffic that doesn't meet HTTP PR peer-to-peer any other traffic so the next step now is that we are going to use these rules to manage the bandwidth [Music] [Music]
